A small, cozy, and welcoming family-run hotel. The owners are incredibly nice and helpful; they truly go above and beyond to provide a warm welcome. The place is spotless, calm, and very peaceful

Lovely family, very helpful runs the best house I have ever been in. Location ideal, away from main roads, perfect garden for relaxing. Clean room with luxurious bathroom. Breakfast delicious, very varied, in addition to the buffet you can order yourself a dish from an extensive menu.

Simply perfect. We wanted to see Königssee and spent quite some time unsure of which hotel to choose, until we discovered Villa Sonnenhof. Then the decision was made instantly. We were not disappointed. Everything was absolutely magnificent: from the incredibly warm and attentive hosts to the comfortable, stylish rooms with stunning views. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious as well. Such a high, professional level. It's about a 10–12 minute walk to the town center with all the restaurants and shops. Getting to Königssee by car takes around 25–30 minutes.

Location Location Location! What a wonderful stay we had. Breakfast was fabulous and served with a smile. No request was left unattended. This family knows what customer service is !!

We recently enjoyed a weekend at Villa Sonnenhof and had a wonderful time. The rooms are comfortable, large, superclean and delightfully quiet. The family who owns and runs the hotel are incredibly friendly and have clearly put enormous thought into doing everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The included breakfast is a particular delight with a wide-ranging, copious and delicious buffet. We have tried a couple of places in the area and this is by very far the best we have found - we will definitely return.

We had an amazing stay at Villa Sonnenhof! The rooms are updated and spacious with amazing patio views. The Fuchs family is super friendly and helpful and make an amazing breakfast. We could not recommend this place more!

We stayed at Villa Sonnenhof for 5 nights. Everything was perfect. We were really pleased with the room. It looked exactly like in the pictures and the views were stunning. My partner preferred a harder pillow and he requested it the next morning after we arrived and when we came back to the room after a day out, the hard pillow was placed in our bed and it helped him sleep so much better throughout the stay. The hosts were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay there and gave us lots of tips on where to visit etc. Breakfast was really great as well, the eggs and pancakes were delicious and the portions were just right. Even though we were in a residential area, it didn't feel like it and it felt like we were in our little oasis and close to nature. Every evening, we walked 10 minutes down into the town and there were many choices for dinner. Location was perfect as we could do hiking trips, lake trips and also very close to Salzburg. We thank your family for everything and we would definitely stay at Villa Sonnenhof again if we visit the area next time.
