I recently had the pleasure of dining at Village Burger on McKinney Avenue, and let me tell you, their burger is nothing short of phenomenal! I ordered the burger topped with blue cheese, crispy bacon, and fresh avocado, and it was an absolute delight. The flavors melded perfectly, creating a rich and satisfying experience with every bite. To complement my burger, I chose a side of sweet potato fries, which were the perfect balance of crispy and tender, offering a hint of sweetness that paired beautifully with the savory burger. The atmosphere at Village Burger is inviting and casual, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal with friends or family. If you're in the Uptown Dallas area, do yourself a favor and stop by Village Burger. You won’t regret it – it truly is one of the best burger experiences I've had!

Dang fine burger! Order at the counter or wait service at the bar. I built my own with medium rare beef, provolone, fresh baby spinach, sliced avocado and garlic aioli. Partnered with the shoestring truffle fries. But was really torn on ordering the Trio- shoestring fries, sweet potato fries and onion rings. Local craft beers on tap- the Revolver Blood and Honey always hits. So many combos and choices- there is something for everyone!

Good food, not described. You can enjoy your food. Onion rings are some of the best I've had in years. But menu is simple on the wall, and doesn't describe options. I ordered the BLUE CHEESE BURGER specifically for the AVOCADO listed in the ingredients. All I got was a dab of avocado aioli, not slices wanted. And at no point did service describe options. So come & enjoy the food. But when ordering, make sure to dissect each ingredient to make sure you understand what will be served. Cause they ain't going to tell you everything about your food. And what's worse, the young staff/management/owners don't even realize how annoying this is to a customer. And how legally liable it is for customer with food allergies, not to understand what are being served. No impression, that they perceived it either.

It’s a ‘no’ for me, here’s why: it was an overall basic experience. The service was just okay, it was a long wait for my food. The shoestring fries were nothing to rave about and I could have passed on those. The best thing about the burger was the bun, which was soft and fresh. My BIGGEST complaint is that they left the red onions off my burger, which would have enhanced the flavor and taste for me. This was my first and last visit.

The value here is great! We got two solid burgers (Dougie and Better Cheddar) and delicious fries for what was a great price. There are better burgers out there but at the price and convenience, it is hard to beat. They have a nice casual ambiance inside as well as a patio looking at the West Village. We will definitely come back.

Village Burger Bar is one of those spots that just gets it right every single time. The food is always on point, fresh, flavorful, and cooked exactly how you want it. The quality of the burgers is what I like most, clean, simple, and they give you exactly what you ask for. No fluff, just really good food done right. Big shoutout to Jarrod and Efrain, their customer service is next level. They take care of people with real attention and respect, not just the usual “how’s everything?” kind of thing. You can tell they care about creating a great experience for everyone who walks in. I’m here pretty much every week, and it’s consistent every single time. Whether I’m coming in solo, grabbing food with friends, or just need a solid go to spot, Village Burger Bar always delivers. Easily one of my favorite places to eat.

Best burger place we've found in the Oaklawn / Midtown area in Dallas. Turkey burger & sweet potato fries were delicious. Make your own hamburger & onion rings were awesome! Great job! Loved it!

When you’re craving a good burger, head over to Village Burger Bar. The meat has that cooked on the grill flavor that tastes so delicious. The buns are also substantial enough to hold the burger but light enough that you don’t have that bloated by bread feeling. With these two key ingredients being 10/10, you are free to fly and create the burger that your heart (and stomach) desires most. Bring your doggo and sit on the patio which has solid tables, no wobbly and annoying tables here! The Katy Trail is about a quarter mile away so you can take a nice walk afterwards.

I just love Village Burger! Friendly staff and chill vibes always. I come here whenever I'm craving a turkey burger and they never disappoint. The Southwest Turkey is my favorite, and I always add a fried egg white for the extra protein. I tried their double sweet potato fries (added cinnamon + honey) for the first time and it was delicious. A fulfilled dining experience per usual.

When I came in this place was packed which I knew was a sign it must be good. I decided to build my own burger and I got the trio which consists of sweet potato fries, regular fries, and onion rings. Service was good and my food came out pretty quickly. The sweet potato fries were amazing. The onion rings were just too big in my opinion and had alot of breading on them so I would not get those again. The burger was phenomenal and cooked perfectly. I think I have found my new favorite burger spot.

Great burger - and I mean great. A nice departure from the smash burger fad. Classic, juicy, and delicious. Bonus points for draft root beer and a really nice staff.

Served with a choice of adult beverages-get the dirty Shirley! Burgers, drinks, fries, salads. My husband recommended the mediterranean salad. We split the salad with chicken-so yum! Perfect sized fried chicken squares! We had blue cheese vs ranch-not a problem. Really good. Happy hour menu and daily specials! Summary My husband liked the Inwood location and recommended we try this location. So yum!!! Great service, super menu, awesome specials!!

I'd come here again just for the fries! The burger was okay (just average), but the truffle shoestring fries and sweet potato fries were amazing. I also like how you order at the front counter, take a number, and then seat yourself. Our food came out quick and the staff is quick to clean the tables when people are done.

Had a delicious village turkey burger. The turkey was tender and juicy. Tried the onion rings as my side. They were delicious, but huge! Staff were great. Usually no street parking will be available, so it is typically much easier to park in the parking garage.

A great lunch option in west village. Their crushed ice was amazing and the service was fast and friendly. The sweet potato fries are a must!

First timer greeted by the best gotta say really awesome crew working today behind the bar Aleema and Pete Aleema suggested the Dougie burger which come with the following: Cheddar cheese Bacon Lettuce , onion & egg I of course had to add some heat to it so jalapeño was a touch Even the BOH guy believed his name is Gerardo was so welcoming while he was getting the restaurant ready for service

I've been seeing this restaurant close to where I'm working, and I wanted to go in and try and I finally found time today. It's a cute little restaurant called the Village burger bar. It was cute from the outside with its little porch. And it was nice on the inside too. The men displayed above the bar, and you order and then the give you a number to take a seat and then your order is delivered to you if you decide to get it to go it comes in a little, but they're calling adults. Happy meal packaging. Which is a paper box with peaked roof like you see it so many restaurants. So I walked up and I ordered the crispy honey chicken sandwich, and I decided to add an order of double sweet potato frys and it's coated in cinnamon and drizzled honey. And then I got an unsweet tea. I filled my tea with the apricot Chardonnay tea flavor. And then had a seat at a nice table to await my food. They gave me a number on a pole so they could find me.. it came very quickly. And it was beautiful and tasted great too. I really enjoyed it and after eating some of the fries, I decided I really needed something dipped them in. They were a little dry and too much cinnamon on them, so they suggested to me the honey mustard would be good. And it was a good call. It really helps the fries which were tasty on their own. Be elevated to perfection. I enjoyed my dinner and when I was done, I got up and left. It was very tasty and I will probably be back to try another of their burgers.

My gf and I were craving burgers and decided to stop by for an early lunch side we're new to the neighborhood. On entrance, we were greeted by a nice young lady who advised we could order when we were ready. You order at the counter, take a number and your meal will be brought out to your table. Since it was such a beautiful day, we decided to grab a two top right out front. We both decided to build our own burger with various toppings and share a trio basket. We also ordered a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and a tequila mule. Everything was fresh and portions were perfect. The only con was that the onion rings were cooked a bit too much and were extremely crunchy. To the point that there was almost no onion and all batter. Otherwise, this is a solid burger spot and we'll be back!

Burgers are always on point. Staff is always super nice. Margaritas are amazing. I feel like the location is perfect for this place

I came here for lunch a couple of times now, once meeting a group of 10 people. It's not a huge place but they can definitely accommodate a group that big. They have a lot of options for customizing your burger or you can order from the presets. In any case, between beef, chicken and turkey you're covered. Its self order and the staff is generally friendly. My meals have been pretty solid here both times. Nothing spectacular but it's good enough that i wouldn't mind coming back.

The best service!! Jose is the best worker ever !! super kind and humble person we enjoy every visit with him he knows how to make you smile and bring you an excellent service and experience !!! every time we are here we enjoy our drinks and the food is great! Village warm dip is my favorite !!

Nothing stood out to be about village burger bar. The prices were very reasonable but for what it was made to sound (the menu hype) I don't think it lived up to expectations. The burger patty was apparently a famous recipe but was not great. The village sauce, their in-house speciality sauce, and their various aiolis were not great. The food itself came pretty quickly. Individuals order and pay at the front so there isn't much waiter/waitress interaction. The place itself was very clean and had homey decor. However it felt like any other burger place. Not a bad experience, but not a particularly special one either. I would recommend trying somewhere else.

Fried Pickles - 10/10 Bacon Cheese Burger - 0/10 Truffle Fries - 5/10 The burger was very chewy and the fries were cold. The service and ambiance are mediocre. The fried pickles were amazing. Needless to say, I will not be returning.

Service was great and the food was good as usual. We sat outside but the flies were terrible. Not sure why but it was hard to enjoy the patio because of this reason. The drinks are really good and the drink specials are inviting. It's good to know that they stay open late in case we're ever looking for a late night meal.

Village Burger Bar changed my life. Let me paint you a picture. Today was supposed to be the last. I was on my way to take my last breath and then my tummy grumbled... Conveniently, I look up at what could easily be mistaken as the pearly gates heaven. It was Village Burger Bar! I decide if it's going to be my last, why not give it a try. As soon as I walk in I'm greeted by this absolute angel of a person. She happily takes my order without hesitation (it's just what i needed). I finally felt understood. I ordered the Truffle Fries and the Onion Rings, a meal of my childhood. I never understood love at first bite... until now. The onion rings were even better than my late wife. They had this golden glow to them that made me reconsider my juvenile ways. This was a meal worth living for, and suddenly... I realized this is what life is worth living for. 5 Stars Village Burger Bar. - sincerely a man who needed a good meal ps. i miss my wife. pps. these rings make me miss her a little less.

This location was in a pretty up beat neighborhood, which wasn't bad, you can sit out doors or inside and feel comfortable. The servers made me feel welcomed which is a good sign. You order at the bar area and they take your food to you, which is ok, just like many other popular burger restaurants. Now the food was pretty pricey I am not going to lie, everything was presented in an amazing fashion. The appetizers were amazing! We had a cheese dip and fried cheese which were really good! Now the burger itself wasn't bad. I had ordered a double with grilled onions, mushrooms, jalapeños and cheese. But the vegetables weren't really grilled at all which made me feel bummed out. The burger I felt lacked seasonings, which I should've just added a simple salt and pepper to it. The fries were really good though, they were truffle Parmesan fries, and they stood out more than the burger itself. To me the burger wasn't bad, not my favorite, but not hated at all. I would give it a shot as the burger was cooked on a char grill due to the flavor. I would recommend trying it and seeing how you feel. We encountered many others who are regulars here and utterly enjoy the place.

Yummy burgers, I came in here wanting some truffle fries. The burger was cooked to perfection. The fries were delicious. This business has many weekday specials to check out. The service was perfect with the constant check ins. We sat outside in the patio watching people walk by on a perfect Sunday afternoon.

Didn't even ID me when ordering alcohol. Asked if the buffalo sauce was vegan. They said yes. ITS NOT. It doesn't even taste like buffalo sauce. Super upset. Asked them to remake the entire sandwich for my vegan SO. The pickles are great and so are the sweet potato fries without the cinnamon/honey. If you like sweet then go for it. The turkey burger (custom) was good but a little dry. My SO had the mushroom burger and it's apparently juicy and has good flavor (when customized).

This place was better than expected, went in there to watch the football game, they let me try their hazy IpA which was super good and the cheese appetizer was spectacular. the burgers were super awesome too, would definitely come back!

This experience was just ok. The burger was ok. The meat was a little chewy for my taste and the bacon was hard. I love tiny shoestring fries but if they are not served fresh from the grease they taste stale and mine were not served fresh. The best thing I had was a cherry limeade. Overall I found it to just be ok.

When I get of work late. After hitting 200 covers. I go here to have a burger that's worth the ass kick. They remember me every time I go. We are service industry mercenaries that just love food. I enjoy everything about this joint. I wish there where more of these in Dallas.

The staff is nice. They have great vegetarian and vegan options and the prices are great. I love this place. Plus they always have drink specials. Ambiance is family burger spot.

Been there several times. Love their hamburgers. My daughter ordered chicken sandwich which was also very good. Quick service. Always seem to find parking in front for pick up.

This place was incredible. Since it was my first visit, they offered great recommendations and were super friendly. The staff was really knowledgeable about both the drinks and the food. Everything was packed with flavor. They even went above and beyond to make me chili cheese fries, even though it wasn't on the menu, by serving me a slice of chili instead. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone. It's a bit on the pricier side for a burger joint, but the quality and flavor make it well worth it. If you're in the area, don't miss it!

Order through grub hub hit my kids orders wrong. They lactose and do not eat cheese. Kids burgers does not give option to remove cheese so it was typed into special requests. Called grub hub to fix. Refused restaurant not answering phone. I guess the dogs get $8 burgers and I get to drive somewhere else. Do not recommend As for my food. Cold as to be expected with delivery food but the burger is somehow undercooked and dry. Like how?!

Everything was excellent! From the service, to the food, to the location. All sauces are homemade and the blue cheese for the chicken strips was phenomenal. The sweet potato fries, shoestring fries and onion rings were delicious as well. I can't wait to go back. Great job

Burgers cooked to perfection! Honey mustard with fries is amazing! The frozen cherry limeade is a must have! Service is always best and love coming to this location! Especially since they're located in West Village.

Came in for a quick togo order and saw the $4 Sangria special on Saturdays and decided to grab one while I wait. Best sangria I've ever had, I ended up getting two! Customer service was great also! Can't wait to come back

Just stopped in for a quick snack and glass of wine . They only carry Sea Glass, so fortunately I know that it isn't too bad of table wine ---$8 a glass is reasonable especially given the area . In fact , burgers are all around the same. $8 ish ----so a reasonable lunch or dinner can be had . Bartender was very friendly, and looks like they serve cocktails ----so that's a plus if that's your pleasure! Ambiance is nothing to text home about but it's a burger joint. So it works.

This place has some really happening food and drink. The bartender was just as friendly and welcoming as can be. The price was reasonable. Also, the bathroom was clean... ahem.... Big plus for me..!

I came here I left spa today and I wanted to try a new place out and since they had burgers I had to give it a go. Walked in greeted and welcomed. You have to order at the bar or you can go sit and come back up when you are ready to order. The food came out pretty fast and hot. I got the dougie burger w/ American cheese, grilled onions, hard egg, mayo and mustard; I only changed the burger a little bit to my taste. I also got the village dip.... but it really wasn't to tasted to much like cream cheese.

I eat here all the time, especially when I have doordash credits! Vibes are great- like a small local burger restaurant but it's great since you order at the counter right when you walk in, and food comes out fast to your table bars on your table number. Highly recommend the chicken pesto panini and the sweet potato fries for the side. I would pass on the salad I thought it was super boring, but don't think anyone would come here seeking out a salad. The fries are super thin, even more thin than mcdonald's but they're good when they're hot and fresh. They have some great sauces so try the ranch and the avocado aioli both are super good with the fries! Different drink specials each day of the week so check out what they have on special on the board on the wall next to the bar!

I had the chance to pick any restaurant in DFW to celebrate my 74th birthday and I chose Village Burger Bar. I was not disappointed. The food was delicious and satisfied my wish to have a great meal. The burger and sauces were perfect together. The onion rings and French fries were cooked to perfection. One employee made my day extra special. Kenny had excellent customer service skills and even gave me a yummy chocolate cookie/ice cream dessert with a candle to help me celebrate. What a very kind person. It meant a lot to me. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I brought my son here for us to have a nice lunch. The meal was overrated. The truffle fries were bland veggie burger was messy, and my son wasn't a fan. Staff was pleasant enough. It just didn't hit the spot.We definitely should've chosen a different restaurant.

Burger was so burnt tasting. I took two bites, & threw it away. I ended up going to Burger King afterward. Drinks are super weak. I'm a 100 lb woman with a low alcohol tolerance & drank a whole drink on an empty stomach & didn't even get a buzz. At least service was fast & not everything was terrible. The fried pickles are average & the staff is nice, but I would not recommend & I would not go back.

It was our first time stopping by- and it didn't disappoint! Village Burger Bar welcomed us in and we're very friendly and helpful in explaining the menu. They even gave recommendations! The food came out within 10 minutes of sitting, and they kept checking in to make sure everything was ok. They do have patio sitting if you're looking to enjoy a nice night out! I'm a lover of fries- so I recommend their truffle fries- but also- ask for some ranch and garlic aoli - SUPER YUMMY!

Since Fuddruckers are no long around Dallas it is very hard to find a good burger. I have been coming here for years when I am in West Village for a film festival or another event. The service is very friendly and the food is cooked fresh. The menu has something for everyone including those who have to watch what they eat. I got the impossible burger with onion rings. The onion rings were big and very freshly cooked. The burger was loaded with all of the fixing and was delish.

I had just got off my flight and was looking for a quick, tasty burger. The staff and Village Burger were super friendly and helpful with the menu. The Dougie (no red onion, cooked medium) was perfectly cooked with a very tasty bun. The Village sauce goes well with the burger and the fries. I'm not a huge fan of shoestring fries but these complemented the burger very well!
