Rather dining in or taking out, the consistency and attention to service remains high quality at Village Burger. Every item I have ordered is fantastic and full of flavor. The service is top notch and you will not wait long for your food and beverage. The outdoor dining garage is a great touch and an awesome way to enjoy this classic restaurant style experience. I highly recommend the onion rings!

So sticking fingers on lips to spread lip balm and not washing hands but going straight up handling food is gross. Maybe she needs further training. Also missing the veges that I ordered in burger. Employees standing around with supervisor but condiments and napkins empty.

This was our 1st visit to Village Burger. Even with a line to order, we were able to place ours very quickly. There are a ton of options to choose from. I had a burger with bacon, lettuce, tomato, cheddar, and mayo with onion rings, and the others had burgers with fries. The burgers were beyond delicious. We all made that face you make when biting into something cooked, seasoned, and prepared the right way and gave a nod to the perfect burger. The only thing I would say to be aware of is that you pay for each item that goes on the burger. It was way more than what we initially thought it would be. However, the price was along the line of other places, and the food was amazing.

Google
Random act of kindness. As a long time customer of Village Burger in Sandy Springs, my family and I have always enjoyed their burgers and fries! I somewhat disagree with one reviewer on the ambiance. To me, it is exactly what it is supposed to be.... a LOCAL neighborhood eating establishment that is unadorned with the glitzy trappings of larger chains. You can always see what you assume are local students working there which adds to its charm. Greater still, I have to give a shout out to the Owner who, although they were closed, graced me with a random act of kindness last night in the parking lot in a time of need! You know who you are and thank you so much. You will continue to get our business! Best of luck!

Google
Carlos has top tier customer service! He suggested I try the quesadilla. It was phenomenal definitely keep it on the menu!

Google
Burgers and hot dogs, and there's even Italian ice cream. We went to the place to pick up and eat at home. The hamburger was good, the hot dog not so much. There is access for those using a wheelchair.

Been meaning to try this place for awhile. My order, the Village Burger, did not disappoint. The beef was cooked to perfection! Two huge patties with added mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cheese, bacon, and special sauce. Hand cut seasoned fries and a soda. Great juicy seasoned beef flavor with the freshest green lettuce and tomatoes. I have been around Atlanta and this is one of the best. I paid under $20 for all of it too. You don't want to miss this one.

Google
Always a good spot to grab a burger and sides. Great value for your dollar. Typical burger, fries & drink will run you under $15, a great deal for the quality of the food here. The outdoor patio is perfect for good weather days.

Yelp
The wings is fire fr ong and plus me and my boy went on a two man here and got hawk tuah

Yelp
"It be callin' me..." LOL I feel like Pookie in 'New Jack City' (Chris Rock) Village Burger has become my weekly stop for indulgence. The food here is really good, especially the Village Burger and French fries  Today, I tried their Philly and it did not disappoint. Mind you, I modified it slightly (Bleu cheese and fresh jalapenos) but it made it that much BETTER! It can be ordered in a combo, which offers a drink and fries but I got the sandwich and fries only. I can only wash this down with a MEXICAN Coke, otherwise, I might have opted for the combo.   Overall, another good cheat meal for the week. Back to the gym I go ...LOL

Yelp
I rarely write reviews like this, but I feel compelled to share my experience after ordering from Village Burger. Unfortunately, I ended up with food poisoning from a burger and fries I ordered for takeout. The burger itself tasted off, almost as if it had been reheated from a previous order. After taking a few bites, I realized something wasn't right. To make matters worse, when I looked closer at the fries, I noticed that some of them were a strange gray color at the bottom of container. It seemed like old, reheated fries had been mixed in with the fresh ones. Needless to say, I felt sick shortly after eating and spent the rest of the evening dealing with food poisoning. I'm really disappointed and won't be returning anytime soon, I would advise others to be cautious with their orders, especially for takeout.

Yelp
The staff is on point with welcoming patrons and quickly processing orders. It's a burger joint with nothing fancy about it. However, I did notice a slight scent that many older buildings have. I was not a fan of my burger. And at one point, told my colleague that I felt like I wasted my money. The burger patty was small and not flavorful. The onion rings were good. In a city filled with burger joints, I would not put this at the top of places to check out. IMO.

Yelp
I ordered the House Burger with lettuce, tomato, and pickles and a side of French fries. The food was delivered to my table quickly and accurately. It was tasty. The restaurant has a few tables inside but most are outside, either in a covered shed area or on the deck with umbrellas over the tables. It was a friendly neighborhood spot and busy with locals even at 1 pm on a hot Sunday.

Yelp
Hey guys! So Village Burger is a cool Saturday or a good local spot for a burger if you have the time. I tried the village burger with an egg and bacon added it was good but could've been a bit better if patties were "seasoned". The wife had the Philly cheesesteak. It was good as well. The onion rings have a little heat to em' and fries were on point a little dry but some ketchup or ranch dressing will push them over the top. Check these guys out everything is fresh and the wait for food was not unreasonable for a decent burger.

Madyson C.

Yelp
Ordered lunch when we arrived in town via mobile order. I ordered the chicken tenders, which were super crispy and delicious with a side of honey mustard. My sister got an order of the lemon pepper bone in wings, they were packed with flavor. The fries were a little on the well side, I wish they weren't so crispy. My husband and brother in law both got burgers. Everyone enjoyed their food, my sisters wings were missing ranch though.

Yelp
Brought a good friend, to enjoy a good burger. As I am already a fan, I wanted a non-biased opinion. They're verdict: good, crunchy seasoned fries, very good burger (wants to come back). They also need the good service and liked that it's smaller/cozier!

Kevin W.

Yelp
This is definitely a mom and pop burger shop. The food taste amazing and they cook everything to order. The place is pretty small on the inside and the other dining section has the heater way too high. I ordered the Village burger and concrete. The milkshake was not worth it all all. The burger was good. Be sure to ask for sauces.

Carol Ivette M.

Yelp
Delicious burgers and great service! I'm not a fan of the hotdogs, but many of my friends love them. The ambience always feels great, although there's not much decor in the outside seating area, and inside gets pretty packed. I would think it's the workers great vibes, the music and easy family seating set up. Been a regular for a while now and highly recommend it!

Giselle S.

Yelp
Awesome, simple burgers. They have beer and wine as well. Nice patio, front of the house is all kids but they do a great job. You order at the front and they bring it to your table. Fries are seasoned well too. Love this place.

Moses Z.

Yelp
Small place can get packed but the food is good and the prices are reasonable/affordable. Simple menu for the most part not over complicated. Have tried their burgers and chicken sandwiches and so far have not had a miss.

Hernley J.

Yelp
Was in the area and was fiending for a burger. Village Burger came up, the reviews looked great so I decided to go. I ordered the Village burger, chicken tenders, fries and fried pickles. The burger was very solid. Great flavor, size, and very juicy! The chicken tenders were ehhh. Fries and fried pickles were also pretty good. The price for the amount of food you get at Village is very fair. The service was also amazing! Next time I'm in Dunwoody I will definitely be sure to stop by. Great Burger Joint. Thanks for reading, and as always you're welcome!

Paula A.

Yelp
The food was delicious! Parker was so patient with our hearing impaired friend. He and Sophia were very helpful but I'll say the entire staff was super friendly. Have eaten at other locations but this one is definitely one I'll return tto. Highly recommend!

Cooper M.

Yelp
It was delicious. I loved the wings especially the lemon pepper and mango habanero. :)

Oliver T.

Yelp
Friend and I met for lunch on a Friday afternoon. Lively place, but still plenty of available seating and the ordering line was short. It's been several years since I've stopped by here and surprised prices are still very reasonable here. Got a Village burger (2 patties, lettuce, tomato, onion) and fries for less than $10 (before tax). Where can you get that nowadays? Quality was very good and it's definitely worth stopping by here, esp in this time of high inflation.

George S.

Yelp
Counter service - excellent. Fried pickles - off the charts. Love the atmosphere, garage patio. Good beer selection. And then there's the burgers. Better than 5 guys. Family owned. Yes all day.

Ishara F.

Yelp
I used to come here after finishing classes at Perimeter College and drink their draft IPA beer for hours. This was the place that introduced me to IPAs. They had different ones every week from around Georgia. The place has changed a bit since 2015 but I still enjoy the beers and the burgers. They have wine now too! Prices are pretty reasonable. Love the seasoned fries with the VB sauce. The staff changed pretty often as they were usually high school/college kids probably working for the summer but the people they select were always friendly.

Katrina G.

Yelp
This is by far the best burger spot that I've had in awhile. My best friend suggested that I try this place. This restaurant is located inside a small plaza with plenty of parking. I ordered the village burger w/lettuce, onion, tomato, pickles, ketchup and mustard with fries. The burger literally melts in your mouth! It is so good, the flavor is chefs kiss. The fries were good but not my favorite. I would highly suggest going here to try the burgers. The inside is small but it does have a few seating areas, there is more seating options outside which is where I opted to dine. Do yourself a favor and try this spot!

Dorothy P.

Yelp
Love all the items here! Haven't had a bad meal yet. I'm glad the owner has kept prices moderate, while other restaurants r using inflation as an excuse to go crazy w prices. Keeping the food affordable keeps the crowds coming. The only thing I wish the owner would add to the menu is an option to add the hamburger meat to the salads, rather than just chicken. I had a great "hamburger salad" in Vermont once, and would love to get it here too! Update: owner responded to my review (see below). So u can add a burger, turkey, or veggie patty on top of their salads! Awesome! Guilt-free eating yay!

Opal A.

Yelp
The service is amazing but the kitchen did not read my ticket correctly. They gave me a beef burger instead of the impossible burger I ordered. I am vegetarian and I do not eat beef. My daughter looked at it and automatically knew it was beef. I'm so disappointed because I drove a distance and couldn't enjoy what I was used to eating at Village Burger.

Benjamin G.

Yelp
Fantastic burgers and amazing value. They really hook you up. A lot of burger spots this good take forever but village is quick.

Rashmi N.

Yelp
This place is a cult favorite around Dunwoody area, and I was super excited to try it. I don't know if I chose the wrong day, time, or what, but my experience wasn't good. I placed my pickup order online. We got The Village Burger and VB Chicken Sandwich also, we got Onion Rings and Fries to go with our Burgers. Village Burger was okayish. Patty lacked seasoning, and it had very little sauce on it, which made the burger dry. The chicken Sandwich was terrible. Chicken was very dry, and like the other burger, it had very less sauce on it--$ 3 for a small cup of soggy, oily burnt fries. Onion rings were good, but $4 is a lot for that. I don't think I will give this place another chance. There are so many better burger joints around.

James O.

Yelp
Nothing special about this place. Was just looking for a simple, good burger but this place wasn't it. Greasy sides and they got our order wrong. Nothing redeemable to note.

Suzanne D.

Yelp
Had the single patty. Crowded as it was Saturday around 6:00pm. Burger was ok. Got it to go. I could get the same quality at Smashburger for about the same price.

Bill M.

Yelp
I am from Texas and I grew up in the restaurant business. I spent my professional career in college & university foodservice. I know great dishes when I eat out. A favorite meal for me would include a Hamburger in my Top Five. Village Burgers serves an excellent hamburger--Period. Their hamburger alone deserves 5-Stars. The service is very good, and the ambiance is rustic and fits the menu offering. The dining area inside is somewhat chaotic and cluttered. Thus I have only given the establishment 4-Stars. The French Fries are from raw potatoes and are worth ordering. I also had a Chocolate Milk Shake which was okay, but I'll not order again. Although I do not live in the Atlanta area, I am in the Dunwoody area fairly often. I will be returning to Village Burgers often because I enjoy a well made Hamburger. Other items on their menu might be good, but I will never know; I'm sticking with the Hamburger.

Yelp
First time enjoying Village Burger, but definitely not the last time. We ordered two house burgers with fresh cut chili cheese fries!!! Boom!!! Amazing!!! Next time, we have to try the custard The staff was friendly. The atmosphere was laid back and family oriented. The bathrooms were clean and the food was fresh!

Tamara R.

Yelp
A great burger joint in the Dunwoody neighborhood! You order right when you walk in. I ordered a village burger with American cheese, side of seasoned fries, and 12 count bbq wings. I would say this burger joint is better than most but nothing truly stood out to me flavor wise. It's just a great family friendly place where you can get a classic and good burger. I will say that I ate here on a particularly hot day and I felt like dining in. Unfortunately the inside seating area is small but they did have plenty of outdoor seating with fans. I think they could definitely invest in an air conditioning unit for the outdoor area or something. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and I will definitely order from here again but probably for to go.

Pash W.

Yelp
The cashier was very friendly and helpful, answering any question I had about the menu. I ended up ordering a single burger with bacon onion, tomato, cheese and lettuce. it was really good! Flavored perfectly and very juicy especially to be a smash burger. Hand cut fries were fresh and delicious as well! I also had a wine cocktail (I think that's what it was called) and it was delicious too and definitely got me tipsy lol. I'll definitely come back when I'm in the A again!

Ciera H.

Yelp
I passed this place 100 times and never thought to go in. Since my first visit, I have been two or three times. In the last week! It really can't be beat. Free parking, fast and friendly service and good food! It is definitely a burgers and fries type of restaurant. They also have chicken wings, chicken tenders, and ice cream. There is dining inside, outside, as well as a covered patio section. Of course, the free parking is a plus. A no-frills type of restaurant with prices that can't be beat.

Nameeta M.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our meal here! Service was really quick and there are almost too many options on the menu. You have a choice of toppings on all burgers and also on the concrete if you opt for that, and they have additional floating options beyond their regular menu. The prices are extremely reasonable, a burger will typically cost around $6-8 and the shakes are around $3-5 depending on the kinds of toppings you get. I haven't had a frozen custard in a long time and theirs was just as good as I remembered. You can opt for a milkshake or a concrete and choose chocolate/vanilla/swirl, but you have the added option for toppings with the concrete and I got cookie dough in mine which hit the spot. I was starving so I devoured my food before I could get a picture, but the portions were decent and fries are not included but they are really tasty as well. Definitely recommend!

Carlie M.

Yelp
Came here a couple weeks ago for dinner. We came in on a Thursday evening and it was crowded. You order at the counter and then they bring out your food to you. They don't have much indoor seating, but they have a covered patio that's basically indoor. The burger is really tasty and worth a try!

Clay B.

Yelp
I love coming to this place and here I am again on June 1st. It's close to 100 degrees outside and why I chose today no clue. The seating is limited leaving only outdoor seating. I wanted to eat my entire meal but it's so hot I can't enjoy it at all.

Neha P.

Yelp
Burgers were such a good price for the quality. All of the toppings were super fresh and food came out quickly even with a line out of the door that had formed.

Alicia L.

Yelp
Simple, casual burger spot! Service was good. I told the young man at the register it was my 1st time & he thoroughly explained how the menu worked. Fried pickles were on point! Bad: I ordered my burger well. No pink. It was definitely pink in the middle. My son got sick as soon as he finished the last bite of his burger. I discovered the pink in my burger after he got sick. I probably won't go back but you should give them a try. Just make sure to check your burger temperature.

Roger M.

Yelp
I do deliveries and every time I am in Dunwoody, people always order from here. So today, I finally decided to try it. Very much might be the best burger I've ever tasted. Forget the hype about In-and-Out and Whataburger, which both taste like microwaved Jimmy Dean patties that were left out in the sun. THIS is the real deal. Also, the bathroom (yes, the MEN's bathroom) smells amazing. 5 stars!

Heather T.

Yelp
Amazing food and service. The menu has alot to pick from. Really enjoyed the food. You can sit inside out out which is always nice.

E J.

Yelp
The BEST BURGERS IN DUNWOODY!! Good service and great Millennial crew! Always go when I want a good burger.

Al R.

Yelp
Village Burger is our go to for burgers. The burgers are always fresh and the service is friendly. Great spot in the Dunwoody Village.

Frank W.

Yelp
The Village Burger contains two beef patties and you can add many different toppings to have it any way you like. My favorite is to add chedder cheese, grilled onions, bacon and ketchup. It is always excellent. Village Burger has recently added the Impossible Burger to their menu. My wife is Vegan and Gluten-free. She says the Impossible Burger is delicious and the Gluten-free bun is the best ever. I have two daughters who are vegetarian and they love the Impossible too. Thank you Village Burger. There are very few restaurants where we can all have a meal and love the food.

Kathleen P.

Yelp
We came on a rainy day and orders 2 village burgers and the chili cheese fries. The burgers were good and came with two patties. The fries were a bit soggy for my taste but still good covered with cheese and chili. The prices here are also amazing compared to other good burger places. The service was okay. Inside was pretty packed but it was nice that the outer area had heaters in the cold.

John V.

Yelp
Wings are skin and very little meat. The burger was way. Overcooked and tough . Even a 1 star is fair. Not very clean.

Deb N.

Yelp
Dunwoodians have it made in the shade! We love our Village Burger. Staff are so adorable... mostly high school/college students, very pleasant. Fries, burgers, a beef hot dog, a veggie burger etc. Plus fantabulous milkshakes and frozen custard!! Beer and wine are served as well, super casual with indoor, covered patio and outdoor seating. Ambiance is bustling and casual, nothing fancy.

Kelly P.

Yelp
Delicious food in an unpretentious atmosphere. Food comes out quick, hot & fresh, and for a very reasonable price. The custard was to die for!

Brian W.

Yelp
Food is Inconsistent and it's hit or miss. The Burgers fall apart and alot of the times the buns aren't toasted at all . It has gone downhill . Will never go there again . Employees touching there face and than touch food without washing hands!!

James E.

Yelp
The fries were bland, not presented well, burgers were very greasy...Not my food preference....

W. Scott M.

Yelp
Great neighborhood restaurant for burgers and similar fare. Efficient and helpful staff, consistent tasty food, and love the Village Sauce!

Anup P.

Yelp
Burgers always hit the spot (both veggie and beef but beef wins)- they don't even have to ask how you want it cooked (ie only one way which is the best way). Ice Cream is solid but not epic like Grindhouse. High school kids run this place and run a tight ship. Solid rotating draft beer selection albeit limited w/ only 2 options. I now have to come here at least twice/week bc the burger is that good/quality -AP

Dan D.

Yelp
Village Burger is Five Guys, if Five Guys offered alcohol. Ordered a single patty hamburger, a hot dog, and fries. This is mostly fast food style, although more in line with Five Guys or Fuddruckers than a McDonald's. There's a good amount of customization, and the food itself is quite good. Keeping this review fairly short, but while it can get a bit crowded and getting a refill requires asking the employees for one, this is a solid offering. They offer beer and wine and some pre-mixed drinks, but lacks a full bar. With that being said, I think these guys are also cheaper than Five Guys, which means for a similar level of quality this is an easy recommendation.
