Not so much as a "private kitchen", it just felt like making a reservation at a typical Chinese restaurant. Food wasn't bad but not amazing either, especially for the steep price tag.
Now here comes the comical part. The time gap between each dish was rather long, and about 5 minutes after they served the last main course (for a group of 15), a staff actually came in saying "the restaurant is now closed for the lunch break", and we asked "are you asking us to leave?". The awkward silence was rather funny, and not to mention they haven't even served the last desert yet. After that awkward moment, we heard the music changed to "Good night" (a well known old song for kicking customers out upon closing). If they really were in a hurry to close the shop for a break, wouldn't they serve faster to allow customers to have enough time to finish? For this experience along, we won't be coming back for more.
