I grew up in hells kitchen Manhattan and their cheese pizza reminded me of good old times. I recommend village pizza

I stopped by Village Pizza on Friday evening, deciding to give them a shot after seeing their wildly delicious flavor combinations on Instagram. I was a little disappointed that when I stopped in, I didn’t see anything too “crazy”—lots of standard styles on display. And personally I think it would have been helpful to have cards indicating what was on each pizza to make the ordering process a little simpler. Still, I happily ordered a slice of Veggie, a Pepperoni Slice, and a Cream Soda to go. And I almost regretted not dining in because the interior is lovely. They had lots of tables and a beautiful view of the center of Pawling. I paid a little over $12 for two slices and a soda and the slices were cut very generously. The service was quick and my pizza was piping hot and stayed so on my 10 minute drive home. I thoroughly enjoyed the toppings on the Veggie pizza and the Pepperoni pizza was refreshing in that there was a perfect balance between cheese and pepperoni. The pepperoni was crispy without being “hard” and neither slice was too greasy. In terms of cons, while I enjoyed the toppings of both pizzas, the texture of the dough was a tad off-putting. The dough on the veggie pizza was a little underbaked while the dough on the pepperoni slice felt over-kneaded resulting in a unappetizing, chewy texture. There’s lots of options on the menu here, so I’ll definitely stop in again to try a few more things out. While not my favorite place in the area, it seems like a pretty reliable spot to get a good slice.

Very good Delivery Service and even better food.

I'm in a local rehab and have ordered delivery several times and they are quick and they even contact me to make sure the order was delivered to me. The food is amazing! I have ordered wings, pies, soup, wedges (chicken and shrimp parms) sausage rolls and salads. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Everything is a large portion and very reasonably priced. The food can't compare in flavor to any place I've ordered from. I'm going to hate going home and not enjoying the food any more.

I love the pizza here. I had a slice the other day with chicken and veggies on it; it was so delicious. I also like that they make a different flavored rice ball every time I’m in.

Your standard local pizza place with hot yummy food. We chose to eat at the place because we wanted the pizza right from the oven! The Buffalo chicken pizza could have used a bit more hot sauce on the chicken or drizzled on top. We dipped it in blue cheese and asked for a cup on the side! The garlic knots were yummy because of course they always are! A bit of an odd crowd of patrons but the staff was friendly and service was quick. Looks like they redid some parts of the inside as well!

This place deserves 10 /10. I don't understand the rate they have here but when I came in it was my first time and when I say the food was amazing it was 100% fresh and good. Great pizza place. This place is better than the pizza place by kfc by rt 22. I would be coming more in the future. Also an amazing staff.

its a great pizza shop in town. i'm always craving a good slice! quiet place the time i went but i don't mind. clean bathrooms. friendly staff. i just got a plain slice and it was very good.

They are treble, ordered a pizza. Looked good .got home the bottom was black. I called them and expressed my dissatisfaction with my pizza. They would not deliver me a new one and would not drive 20 minutes to get another one. They told me they could refuse business. They just didn't give a fuck. I have used them in the past, good and bad. They don't take criticism very well.

The pizza today was tasty and the service was friendly. It was my first time trying the restuarant. The place is spotless too. I'll be back.

This place was great! We had a pizza, two salads, a wrap, the minestrone and pasta fagoli, and a cheeseburger. It was all so good. The pizza crust is excellent. Salads are fresh. Soups are home made and hit the spot on a fall day. Burger was tasty and the fries are addictive. Just solid, solid, Solid! Definitely coming back.

They make a good wedge, a great Pepperoni Roll, and an AMAZING Calzone. Pizza leaves something to be desired. Lived across the village, so I never took advantage of the delivery service.

I just moved into the area and we've been coming here as our new neighborhood pizza place and it's been great. The zucchini sticks are awesome, service has been efficient and everyone is always so kind!

Great delivery service! The worst cheese on a pizza I have ever had. We've had 3 deliveries and one 1 in house pizza, the cheese is cheap and just nasty. I would recommend Mezza Luna in Brewster for excellent NY pizza.

This place has average food. I ordered a burger and a small order of wings, and I was told it would take 45 min. It took them 2 hours to deliver to a place less than a 5 min drive away. Also, this isn't a one time thing. The last time I ordered it took them 1 hour 15 min for only a cheese burger with fries. Lastly, I called to confront about this, and I was rudely and abruptly hung up on. Terrible service with average/below average food.

Stopped in for a quick bite as we headed home for the weekend. Food was solid - eggplant parm and a few slices of pizza - but I'm not sure the service could have been any slower. As another reviewer or two points out, the focus seems to be on everything and everyone except those standing in front of you. We waited 45 minutes for the above and adding insult to injury, the pizza slices were warmed up for the first 10 minutes of the order and then sat on a cold bench for the next 35 minutes while we waited for the eggplant parm. They tasted fine but could have served as ninja throwing stars they were so hard by the time we got them. Village Pizza has four village idiots working there with one woman who has a great sense of service trying to hold it all together. Her efforts alone must keep the place afloat.

I'm not sure about the negative pizza reviews.. maybe everyone has different preferences style pizza but this place is our style! My husband and I stopped in for quick kid free meal- ordered baked ziti pizza with large salad with creamy Italian dressing. The gentlemen working and cooking took our order right away at the counter. Salad came out quickly and pizza not long after. He was nothing but pleasant, checking in to see if we enjoyed it. To add, everyone was covid conscious, staff and delivery persons all wearing masks and maintaining social distancing. We went in the winter so I wonder if they have outdoor seating available in warmer weather bc it is located in the very cute downtown pawling area. To each their own but we enjoyed the food and the experience!

I recently went to the Pawling car show and my son was hungry so I got him pizza from this pizzeria.It was Horrible.I see less oil on me after an oil change the cheese slid right off the crust it was horrendous. I will never eat there again.

One of the worst pizzas I have ever had. The crust was very blah bland, the cheese tasted off and there was barely any sauce, I had to dip my pizza in marinara just to have some kind of moistness to it. The garlic knots were a decent size but had so much garlic the sides of my tongue tingled, but I patted the other knots down a little bit and they were perfect. Staff was nice but there were staff children running around. I paid 8.60$ for two plain slices and an order of 5 garlic knots.

I placed a $45 take out order. Upon arrival to pick up my order I saw 4 people working and the only one wearing a mask was the young man at the register, the man preparing the pizza and the two food prep workers had no masks on; actually one food prep worker had a mask around his neck. I immediately cancelled my order and requested a refund. The other customer in the restaurant followed me in canceling his order.

We drove 30 minutes home only to find out that they had given us the wrong pizza. Called and told them we had the wrong one. Allergies prevented us from just eating what we got. They were rude and swearing on the phone. We made the drive again to switch pizzas. When we walked up to the counter the kid up front said "Buffalo" Then took the one we had returned and placed it on the oven to keep warm. Overall incredibly rude customer service for what turned out to be mediocre pizza.

Ordered food from Village and was told it would be 35 minutes. It was an 1:15 minutes And my food still wasn't done. I asked for a refund of an almost $60 order and I was told by the owner that the terminal was frozen. He would have to call me and let me know later that he voided the transaction. No apology, no food for my family. The worst customer service I've had in a long time.

Good pizza for the area. Their delivery service is great....however....their in-house service is horrible. I have visited the pizzeria on 3 occasions for a dine-in experience. 1st visit was flawless. Food was delicious, staff was pleasant. 2nd time.....waited over an hour (no exaggeration) for fries.....3rd visit...mind you it was 5:30pm, there was no pizza in the display and my daughters had to wait over a half hour for their under cooked slices of pizza. (One was plain, the other pepperoni) During that half hour we witnessed lots of pizza go out for delivery and people come in to grab their takeouts. I just think they should have been as concerned for the people sitting in their facility as they are for their deliveries. Did i mention we were the only patrons at that time (unreal) I think i will stick to delivery only, since i really like their pizza...most of the time.

They have never gotten an order of mine right. I've gone in and been the only patron waiting and gotten handed the wrong order (dont ask me how) but this wasn't the first time. The food was horrible and 1/10 wouldn't eat there again.

Ordered a large pie with mushrooms and pepperoni....crispy..the pizza is awesome I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and neighbors. the delivery was almost to the second.. and the man who took my order was very nice.. i will definitely be a repeat customer...also there garlic knots are off the hook I'm finally glad Pawling got a good pizza man...thanks village pizza ...vito.c

Great NY style pizza! We were happy with the service, prices, food, and delivery. The other yelp reviewers almost made us miss out on this gem! Don't listen to the bad reviews.

Nice place and food. This place is very clean, and the staff are friendly. I ordered the the Eggplant Parmigiana Wedge. The eggplant was thin and breaded they way it should be, and the sauce and cheese was very good. My wife had the pizza and she said it was tasty. Certainly will come back here when I'm in the area.

Very good pizza and wings always delivered on time. It's a weekly meal that we throughly enjoy.

Terrible staff... I asked for oregano and the lady on the phone said it was the weirdest request she has ever heard. UNBELIEVABLE! I know plenty of people who like oregano on their pizza. This is a pizza place, most people put it on their pizza. She was very rude by laughing during the rest of the order just because of my simple request. COMPLETE DISRESPECT. On top of all of this the pizza took forever to come and was not very good at all... Cold and way to much sauce. Last time I ever give these people business.
