The Best 24-Hour Restaurants in Las Vegas | Eater Vegas

"Best known for the $9.99 dinner of 10-ounce top sirloin steak with potato, garlic green beans, and soup or salad (with a player’s card), the Ellis Island location of this Las Vegas bar and restaurant serves a robust menu at all hours of the day. Chicken tenders here are especially good — consistently moist and crunchy. And the fries are made extra crispy. Also find shrimp cocktail, quesadillas, and chicken parmesan. Village Pub has several locations." - Janna Karel

Prime rib Las Vegas restaurants | Eater Vegas

"This prime rib falls under the category of a cult favorite. The king’s cut prime rib at this 24-hour Ellis Island dining spot is slow-roasted and also available as a double cut, and comes with a baked potato, garlic green beans, and choice with either a soup du jour or house salad. Opt for a prime rib French dip with steak fries for a lighter meal." - Jennifer Smith

I want to express my sincere gratitude, first and foremost, to Priscilla, the charming hostess. Her exceptional service, professional demeanor, and genuine care made both of my visits truly special, and I look forward to returning largely because of her outstanding hospitality, as well as the food, of course. Her attentiveness, combined with the restaurant's commitment to quality, consistently transformed our meals into memorable experiences. I would also like to thank the kitchen staff for consistently preparing delicious meals. The excellence in food preparation, combined with the energetic and inviting ambiance, makes this restaurant a place I want to visit again, which reinforces the positive impression created by the front-of-house team. Last but not least, I would like to thank Yen for making me feel so welcome and at home during my initial visit, as well as for her efficiency, care, and delightful service. I would also like to thank Andrew for his excellent service during my second visit. The only minor issue was that the French Onion Soup was a bit overdone on top when it was served to me; however, given the overall positive experience, I chose not to complain about it.

Located just off the Strip, Village Pub is well worth the short walk for high-quality, budget-friendly dining. Food: 5/5 The steak and eggs breakfast at $12.99 was excellent—good-quality steak, eggs cooked to order, and flavorful potatoes served with sourdough toast. My daughter had the kids’ French toast for $7, which was also a great value. The carafe of coffee was a thoughtful and convenient touch. Service: 5/5 Service was quick, friendly, and attentive, enhancing the overall experience. Atmosphere: 3/5 The décor felt a bit dated, but the space was very clean, including the washrooms, which were well-maintained and tidy. If you’re looking for a solid, affordable meal just off the Strip, Village Pub delivers. Highly recommended for both value and quality.

Google
A decent breakfast for a reasonable price which seems to be rare in Las Vegas. It's a block or two off the main strip in about a 10-15 minute walk. Is located in an old depressing casino. We went at about 6:00 a.m. But the food was decent not great but good and the service was friendly and kept the coffee cup full.

Google
I love this hidden gem and all its specials. If you don’t have a players card, definitely get one so that you can take advantage of the discounts on the meals. We usually go for the rib meal—you get a full slab with complementary sides and you can’t go wrong. This is only available after 4 and get there early so you don’t have to wait to be seated. Service is always great as well.

Google
The best meal we had so far and what’s even better is the 50 percent off currently due to its renovations. Everything tastes so good and on point, even the chicken soup. Wow and yummy, all the whole time!! Really.

Google
We were so grateful that this restaurant was open 24 hours, as we landed late in Vegas. After getting off the plane, my body craved a nice slab of prime rib. The prime rib was $35, and I ordered medium rare, which was just perfect. It also came with a soup or salad, mashed potatoes, green beans, and of course, au jus and horseradish. My travel partners got the chicken fried steak and the fish and chips, both of which they agreed were delicious. I was impressed that prime rib was available so late at night (close to midnight) and still came out so delicious. Highly recommend for anyone with late-night munchies!

Google
We ate late night and had the steak dinner for a very low price of 9.99 with our players cards. A fabulous deal and the food was delicious and well portioned. We came back for breakfast and had Denver omelette and NY Strip breakfast. The portions are very large and price very low. Service was different each time. Some more attentive than others. All in all a great place to eat!

Google
Ohh baby if you’re looking for cheap eats right next to the strip this is it. We went in at about 2 am on Monday, wasn’t too busy . We ordered the $14.99 steak special (it’s cheaper during the week) food was good for what we paid. Customer service was A1. It’s just cold in there so make sure to bring a light sweater or something.

Yelp
The prime rib eye is so good!! For a price point of 35 dollars it really delivers well with the potato, soup, and veggies!! Like always all Vegas staff in these hotel restaurants are seasoned and admirable how they work!! The service is always top notch! The inside is located inside past the blackjack tables and the ambiance feels like a cozy cozy cabin perfect for a family homey meal!

Yelp
Village Pub and Cafe is located inside Ellis Island hotel, which is tucked away behind the Strip (the area was quite sketchy). We heard about this spot offering a prime rib steak deal. It used to be less than $30, but the price has gone up to $35 for this deal. It does include a 16 oz prime rib with mashed potatoes, garlic green beans, and their soup of the day, which was chicken noodle soup. The chicken noodle soup itself was extremely salty. But, what saved this soup was the fact that it tasted homemade and had that beautiful earthy flavor with warming spices. If they just fixed the salt content, this soup would be perfect. The prime rib was cooked to medium rare and was juicy for the most part. The mashed potatoes were homemade, as were their green beans. Both were delicious. For the size of this steak, it could be shared among two people, although, I ate it all myself. Lol. Don't do what I did. I was very full afterwards. My advice: order their 16 oz prime rib and their fish and chips. Then, share half of each with a friend or family member so you can eat both surf and turf. Their fried fish was flaky and moist; and their fries were crispy and seasoned well. Customer service was pretty good as well. Our waiter was attentive and asked if we needed anything from time to time. Overall, despite it being more expensive than Jackson's for their steak deal, the cigarette smoke smell was not as prominent here and a little bit more tolerable that I'd probably consider coming back here again.

Yelp
I've been going here ever since my parents took me here during a family vacation. I just want to say their country fried chicken/steak is my #1 on my list. I am a sucker for country fried chicken/steak and every time I'm in Vegas, I always order this without question. I took my boyfriend and cousin here and they chose to try other items which were pretty good. The fish and chips were hefty with good portion! The club sandwiches were large as well. The clam chowder here was perfect too. I love a nice hot cup of thick chowder, none of that soupy stuff. Thanks for never disappointing me. Go here if you want a good cheap eat!

Yelp
Staff is welcoming and very attentive. This place is busy at all times of the day. Prime rib is very flavorful and filling.

Yelp
Ok.......I'll admit the village pub at Ellis Island is not fancy but the $12.99 steak dinner (with players card) is simply amazing. It was so good that I had to go back a second time just to make sure it wasn't a fluke. The sirloin both times had a nice crust and was cooked perfectly. The French style green beans were crispy and oh it comes with soup or salad at that price. Let me say I've had steak dinners the were 4 times as expensive and were not as good! BBQ (after 4 is excellent as well). Service both times was excellent. Best deal in Vegas by far!!!

Yelp
I have stopped in and eaten here on several different visits to Vegas. This time it was a little more challenging as they are located at turn 4 for the upcoming F1 race so there is a lot of construction and barriers that were being put up or had already been set up. I enjoy coming to eat here as i like the ambiance of the smaller clubs and I have never had a bad meal or bad service. The prices are always really good. Yes prices have gone up slightly but the food is well worth it. I had a steak at a larger casino earlier in the day and it was $40 dollars. Let me tell you this $14 dollar steak was hands down better than the $40 dollar steak from the larger casino. Everything was better the service the ambiance so i highly recommend the village pub. I will definitely be going back next time I'm in town.

Yelp
I've been here probably 10 times over the past 3 years and every time has been great! They have great specials every night, today's Thanksgiving special was especially satisfying and a great value, right off the Strip! $18 for turkey and all the fixins + salad + slice of pumpkin pie. House wine is only about $5 a glass so you really can't beat it. Nice comfy diner/pub vibes and efficient service, even on a busy night!
google avatar

Yelp
Prices have gone up and construction too. It's not the same Ellis Island Casino we used to love. Quality, facilities, and options have fallen. The casino staff were not as welcoming as before. It's just not worth it anymore to come to Elllis Island Casino or the restaurant. They are temporarily serving BBQ ribs while the bbq room has been used for slot machines during construction. The server staff is ok and the bartenders are nice. Security is impolite and overzealous. It's time to find a better place for beer and prime rib deals. There are many great steak places in casinos these days. Find a better place.

Yelp
The food was good. I especially liked the garlic green beans. The atmosphere was nice. The service was fast.

Yelp
Friendly staff but the food wasn't that great. * Fish & Chips: Icelandic cod dipped in their famous beer batter with steak fries, tartar sauce, malt vinegar and lemon wedges $17.99 - cod tasted frozen and I didn't finish. * Cobb Salad: Mixed greens, chicken, bleu cheese, bacon, tomatoes, avocado, chopped egg, Balsamic dressing $15.99 - tasted like a salad from a bag. * Smokehouse Burger: Half-pound burger, with bacon, cheddar, onion rings, basted with bbq sauce $17.99

Yelp
We came to Ellis Island Casino to try the Sandwiches from Via Foccacia )more on that later)but remembered Village Pub had some pretty descent Fish & Chips so we dined in for some Fish &Chips and took the Sandwiches to go on the way out. I have to say this went downhill a bit. The Fish & Chips was too salty and it was dripping grease from the fryer. Not good eats. The tartar sauce was horrible. The French Onion soup was barely warm but the cheese was melted but the bread was not toasted. Not good eats. The service however was very good. Probably will not return there are better Village Pub locations.

Yelp
This place is really good! Located inside a cool, old school casino: Ellis Island. Head straight to the back. Pation was an awesome server. Friendly. Attentive. Nice smile. The restaurant has a lot of room. Good lighting. The best thing about the food is that it is hot. Served quickly. The three of us had the apple salad, shrimp appetizer, prime rib, and fish and chips. Everything was really good. Huge piece of prime. The tarter has to be homemade. Good prices. Lots of good. I recommend this place and will be back.

Yelp
Food was just blah, like most of Vegas. I really don't get the appeal, unless you like to blow your money on slots and crappy food and accommodations. I ordered to go, but took so so very long to get the food to bring up to our room- we were staying at the hotel. They don't have room service. Their idea of room service is you buy the food, wait for it and take it to your room lol. My server was nice but she would disappear for large increments of time so it was hard to get stuff. I had the linguine Alfredo for the kids, the onion rings and a Cobb salad. The onion rings were good but it's hard to screw up onion rings. The Cobb salad was ok. Large portions. The decor is outdated. The drinks were super weak, barely any tequila in that overly sweet margarita. If you are a brewery craft place, at least get your drinks to be something worth drinking.
google avatar

Amy S.

Yelp
Great service. Limited menu so didn't get the French onion soup I live so much but did get to meet the table next to me. And i loved them. Hot wings were good. Medium hot. Not crispy, but big, juicy, and full of flavor.
google avatar

Christina M.

Yelp
My family has always loved Ellis Island, but over the last year their service seems to be getting worse and worse. Their apple pecan salad is my parents favorite meal in Vegas, but this go around the portions were much smaller and there were no pecans on their salad. I ordered a Caesar salad with salmon and they brought me one with chicken. It took over 20 minutes for them to remake the salad and they did not offer any compensation for their mistake. Sad to see the service at a great place decline.

Yelp
Food: I liked the prime rib. It's cooked well, and the beefy taste really popped out. I wouldn't recommend the Jus as it's quite salty. Mashed potatoes are generic leaning towards the bad side, and the veggies are cooked okay. The Alfredo tastes sinful but it's pretty good. I paid extra to add shrimp but I don't think it's worth it as the taste wasn't elevated. Overall, I feel that this place is good for folks who want a "Welcome to Vegas" meal when arriving from somewhere else. It's not the best but it's good enough. Note that the place stops serving these items after 11pm, so don't go too late. Service: It's okay. Some of the servers are on the slower side, but I ate there close to midnight, so I understand. Ambiance: Generic casino side cafe. Nothing special.

Yelp
This place is poppin! Do people still say that? I'm serious, it's the place to go haha from divorcee parties, bachelor/ette parties to family sit downs, I saw all groups here at 10am. The servers are workin hard here! It's busy and they're awesome! My group came for the $9.99 STEAK AND EGGS. Great price and portions! Steak and eggs were perfectly cooked. Love the home style potatoes and some tasty buttered sourdough bread! We finished things off it's some perfectly fluffy pancakes for the table to share. A perfect meal! We will allllways come back here. Loooove it!
google avatar

Kevin T.

Yelp
Food: I love steak and I love eggs, this place gets the job done and i think it is better than South Point's steak deal. Service: It is a diner and there was only one waitress working when we came in the morning. Ambiance: It's clean inside and located near the table games in the casino.

Yelp
I really like this place, the back has some more quiet seating which is nice if you just want to chill. Seating can get a little tight, but it's not bad. Last time I was here, there was an actual "shrimp plate", but that has disappeared. They have a steak & shrimp plate now. I tried it and it was good. I think it was a ribeye steak (but not 100 percent sure). Either way, it was very good. The drawback to sitting in the back part of the pub is that it seems like they forget about you for a few minutes. Other than that, it was fine. Definitely coming back for more.
google avatar

Yelp
Good place to always come for consistent food. They have nice little daily specials which almost always include a steak. They will also make anything you ask if they have the stuff for it. This isn't my first time coming and won't be my last.

Yelp
Rocio was our server on Saturday afternoon. There wasn't too long of a wait, only 15 minutes for a table of 7. I'm mostly happy because I thought she was a great server. Most of us ordered steak and eggs special for $12.99. Someone else brought our food out and had the dishes mixed up. He announced how well a steak was made, but it was all wrong. Three people had their dishes mixed around. Rocio noticed right away but they had already cut into it and noticed too late. Two of them were okay to switch but one had a medium well steak when he ordered medium rare. Rocio was so quick to take the steak back and bring out a new one. We didn't have to wait long for it at all. I enjoyed my steak and eggs. Not bad at that price. I only didn't enjoy the potatoes because they were... mushy. Not cooked to crispiness at all. Almost seemed.... Oily.. so I didn't eat it. Another thing I noticed about Rocio was how she insisted on bringing drinks to each of us instead of having us pass it down. We didn't mind but I felt like she was giving us fine dining experience despite this restaurant not really being fine dining. Thanks Rocio!

Yelp
My favorite pub place in town. Don't expect over the top food. Just good solid fare at reasonable prices. Prime rib was a bit tough for me. But my favorite is their fish and chips. Tried entire menu and everything is about 3 stars Fish and chips is 4 star. Wish the chicken parm wasn't set though.
google avatar

Yelp
The famous steak and egg special is $14.99 now, no longer $8.99 like it was in December. The service was fantastic though. We were seated immediately on Father's Day at around 11AM. Party of 2. After we ordered and received our drinks, our food was out in 5 minutes. We were so excited about that and everything tasted amazing! We ordered the steak medium and it was tender, juicy, very easy to get through. The bread slices come buttered up and they are even better with the jam they provide at the table. We were in and out of there quickly and had a wonderful breakfast and time as usual. I hope the prices don't go up anymore let's hope! But this place is a gem! A must do every time we're in town.

Yelp
I love the village pub at Ellis island. Great cheap lump steak. Best deal still by the strip with your card. Best fish and chips in town. And the prime rib is really really good. Overall a great place to eat and not bust the budget

Yelp
We ate there last night!!!! The food was AMAZING!!!! The prices were even better!!!! If you don't believe me, GO SEE FOR YOURSELF! 5 STARS!!!!

Yelp
We love coming here for the simple but delicious prime rib meal. It has gone up quite a bit in costs, but it's still worth it, and still very affordable compared to other establishments. We have tried several of other entrees on the menu and they were just ok. We stick to the prime rib, french onion soup, and the cesar salad. Service is pretty good for a casual establishment.
google avatar

Rod B.

Yelp
Another Gem in Las Vegas for good eating and low affordable prices near the Strip. You'll need to go through the run down Ellis Island casino to get there, but once your there, you won't be disappointed. The restaurant is nice and clean. The big special is the Steak and Eggs which comes country fried potatoes for $9.99. However, they are known for the prime rib dinner. Well worth the trip.
google avatar

Yelp
We are in Vegas again so this is one of our 'must go' place. The Village Pub is not a fancy place, just good homey food. We ordered the usual: Onion soup--a little too salty this evening nonetheless gooey cheese was still filled to the brim. Nice+hot Grilled pork chops-- The days special--2 pcs of charbroiled pork chops served with mashed potatoes and garlic green beans. Chops are not too too overdone, not moist neither. Quite tasty thanks to the char flavour. Fish and Chips-- 3 medium sized pcs as usual over a bed of chips. This surely satisfied our yearning for something deep fried which we haven't had for months! Good value, good food, good service... what's to complain? Will be back next year.

Yelp
From the Horseshoe (via Flamingo), it's only a 5-10 minute walk to get to Village Pub (inside Ellis Island). Village Pub is no longer a secret...as more people are finding out about it because each time I have gone, the lines have been longer and longer! Menu has just about everything! I've honestly have never had anything that I didn't like at Village Pub. They stick with a simple menu of traditional breakfast and diner classics and do it well. My personal favorites: Steak & Eggs Special, Chicken Fried Steak (it's actually pork!), Fish & Chips, and the Prime Rib! Compared to Strip prices, you'll be saving at least 50% on a typical meal. Well worth the walk! Plus you get in some $5 hands of blackjack and $10 roulette if you're on a budget. I usually will eat here at least once on all my Vegas trips. A generous 5 star rating for Village Pub inside Ellis Island because of it's incredible VALUE! Pro-Tip: If you're flying solo or there's just two of you...head on right to the bar for quick seating! During breakfast hours, it's usually quiet on that side so you can sit and order right away!
google avatar

Yelp
I really wish this cafe was a local spot in SoCal, because it just has the best cafe-style grub that will make even the pickiest eater leaving with a full belly and a smile on their face! But don't come here with high expectations - it really is just a cafe located inside of Ellis Island Hotel & Casino, so most of the patrons are staying at the hotel. There's no fuss here and the host and waitresses will provide comfortable service, but nothing over-the-top. You'll get a menu, choose your entree and beverage, and you'll get your food within 10-15 minutes usually (all depends if they're really at the time you're dining there). All of their breakfast dishes are great - from hashbrowns to eggs and steak or omelets, they've got it all here! If you're looking for a pretty decent steak dinner, they also have that here. It's actually a pretty good cut if you're a steak guy or gal. Parking is free here for hotel guests as well as visitors, but it can get packed if you come at a really busy time. But otherwise, worth coming here if you wanna get away from the crazies of The Strip.

Yelp
Great food for a decent price overall was under 30$ The service was average but quick and simple, not too much and the overall ambiance of the restaurant is calm but upbeat at the same time. Definitely a chill spot to have some breakfast

Yelp
This was our third time coming to this restaurant. My uncle brought us here and we continued going when we are able to. We had to bring my kids to try it. The food was always so good and service was excellent. Unfortunately today Julie was our waitress and she made this dining experience very uncomfortable. When we first started ordering my son asked for a separate check as he was paying for himself and his girlfriend, we were paying for us 2 (husband, wife) and 2 daughters. My son kept asking for stuff and she would pretend as if she did not hear him. My husband said excuse me, she rolled her eyes turned around and with an attitude said YES. She passed by our table multiple times without asking if we needed refills or anything. Julie brought the check and walked away once again not asking if we needed anything. I noticed she did not separate the checks so we had tried to get her attention multiple times with no luck. Eventually she came back to the table I told her in the beginning before we started ordering we asked for 2 separate checks. With an attitude she said it's not biggie I can fix it right now. At this point I asked for the manager and she said for what, I said I need a manager please. The manager Manny eventually came and was very nice and apologized for the experience. I get we all have bad days, there's a time and place for it. Off the bat she was extremely rude and did not seem like she wanted to be there. I just wish my kids did not have to experience that kind of disrespect wether it is a fancy place or not we are still paying customers.

Yelp
Don't overlook this place - the other words, don't judge the book by its cover. Lots of construction going on in and around this location. If you're a "it doesn't look like I'm going to like it" person based on first visual impressions. Take a deep breath and enter. Service is fast, friendly, polite, informative, and above board. Our food came out fast and hot and it's like a scratch kitchen feel/flavor. Steak and eggs were made to perfection. The corned beef hash and eggs was way too much and delicious. All the other meals we saw looked amazing! Going to try dinner one night with friends! Can't wait to try that prime rib!

Yelp
The restaurant has a Rat Pack old Vegas feel. The waitresses were all courteous and attentive. I have eaten three meals here and they have all been excellent. I've only been able to take pictures of two of them. I absolutely love the steak special with a three dollars off. That sirloin had no gristle bone or fat to deal with, and it was just one solid chunk of meat heaven.perfectly cooked and tender. I absolutely loved the garlic green beans that went with it. All of the other food has been so satisfying. I highly recommend this place for breakfast lunch and dinner.

Yelp
If zero stars were possible, this would be a ZERO star review. In short, if you want good food and good service, DO NOT go to this restaurant inside Ellis Island Casino. From the start, the bartender named Venus was not very helpful or knowledgeable to accommodate my girlfriend's dietary allergies. We ordered a simple grilled salmon with seamed veggies to mitigate the risk of cross contamination. Food came to the table incorrect and overcooked plus the bartender never followed up after 2 minutes of food hitting the table to confirm all was well. When we finally got her attention to try and correct the problem, she just nodded and went to grab the plate to take it away without apologizing or making any attempt to make it right. We then asked to have it removed from the bill. I then noticed a very nasty lady behind the bar yelling at the bartender about the food that was still behind the bar at this point. We were within earshot and even heard words of "she's practically eaten the whole piece of salmon" which was a bold faced lie. She never touched the incorrect sides and had a couple bites of the terribly prepared salmon. She then aggressively scraped the plate off into a trash can right in front of us and began glaring at us angrily like we were the issue. The breaking point was when we finally met this so called manager Denise, who was far from a manager and is poorly educated on food management and how to dissolve an issue. Whether it was from the poor service or an item was incorrectly made by the kitchen. She never came to follow up about our bad food and poor service. Her "reasoning" for not coming to address any issues was because she was "too busy handling other things" .... But she walked back and forth around us glaring at us. However, what she DID do was berate us as we left the restaurant calling us "terrible people" and to "have a Merry Christmas". BEYOND infuriating to say the least. She then shouted "I even took her meal off!" which I responded with "as you naturally should have" and she had the audacity to reply with "actually no I shouldn't have" following us past the host stand continuing to make a scene. Taking a short time to find her boss that was in charge of the casino at the time, Brian was very apologetic about hearing her disrespectfulness and assured us that is not normal. I hope Ellis Island management decides to take some time to look into this altercation and correct the ugly attitude from Denise at Village Pub and Cafe. Also, Ellis Island please look into the food service standards across the board in Village Pub from FOH to BOH as there are clear steps not being taken correctly. Ellis Island - here is the receipt time stamp for further inquiry and hopefully camera footage. 12/07/24 18:07

Yelp
Ellis Island is surely a go-to for cheap eats and beer here in Vegas, especially for the Prime Rib deal (which used to be slightly cheaper, but for the size you're getting... worth the price). They also brew their own beer that they serve here for $5.50 per 20oz glass. The place is pretty small, but gives a vibe of diner + pub. Though this is our go-to place, we've never experienced such rude service until this day, prompting me to write such a review. We were seated at our table promptly by a lady who had some type of crown accessory on her head with her hair up in a bun. Our chair appeared to be sticky, so we asked our host if she could wipe it down. Annoyed she acted about it, she rudely wiped down the chair. The chair was still wet, which unfortunately soaked our clothing, so we kindly asked if she could provide us with dry napkins. She just looked blankly at us & rudely stepped to grab napkins. By the time she had came back, we had wiped our seats by then, and once she saw we handled it, she looked at us rudely with her dry napkins flailing in the air and gestured at us with a "wtf" look. It seems like customer service isn't her best suit, and simple tasks aren't easy for her to manage. Our server, Andrew, was very kind to say the least & balanced our experience well. He was at least one to be attentive and could manage his customer service well. He sure managed multiple tables.

Yelp
Ordered the Steak and Eggs for the $9.99 special and it's pretty worth! The steak is better quality here vs at South Point. The potatoes are mid and I can go without them. The breakfast also comes with some toast, which is a nice addition to the meal! I ordered my steak medium and came out more medium rare. I recommend ordered a level higher on the steaks than you prefer for it to come out cooked to your liking. The last time I came here I ordered a medium rare and got a steak too rare for my liking.

Yelp
+.5 for service Steak and Eggs special. That's all you need to know for breakfast. A Vegas local recommended this place to me, and I went with two other friends. It was about a 20 min walk from MGM, which honestly could've been less if I knew the way out of the casino. The pub is inside Ellis Island Hotel. Pretty easy to find once you enter from the main entrance. When we came for breakfast it wasn't too busy, easy serving once we're in. The server immediately told us the steak and eggs special is their specialty, and it was $8.99?!?!? Sign me up! Now, it's $8.99. One cannot expect quality given the price at all, and if you are you're crazy. Is it the best steak I've ever had? No, but I can say with utmost confidence that this steak is equivalent to some steaks I've had that are north of $20. It's excellent value especially considering you're in Vegas, and all the city does is eat your money. Service is excellent, and yes I recommended this place to so many friends back home if they ever go to Vegas in the future!

Yelp
Ellis Island's Village Pub is STILL the go-to location for great steak and eggs for an amazing price! Today I revisited Village Pub for their steak and eggs special after a three-year absence and it's better than ever! Steak was cooked to order with perfection and accompany potatoes and eggs were fresh and delicious! $14.99 was the special price as of today and such an amazing deal! I highly recommend!!

Yelp
Made this trip from the strip to have their prime rib. The service was very good. The cut was tender and the garlic beans were very nice. My wife ordered the salmon but unfortunately it was overcooked and a bit too salty. The ambience was very relaxed and clean.

Yelp
The Steak and Eggs special for breakfast at the Village Pub inside Ellis Island is one of best deals just off strip. Very large cut of steak that was cooked perfect. Eggs to order as well. Waiter was fast with coffee and I waited less than 10 mins for food to arrive after ordering. Definitely recommend. Especially if you are on a budget in Vegas!

Yelp
The best fish and chips in the world! The Village Pub's fish and chips is the best I've ever had. Plus the price of $14.99 is the best bargain in all of Las Vegas! You get three beautiful pieces of plump fish perfectly battered and fried. It's hot and tender and melts in your mouth. I dream of this fish and chips! I didn't have F&C taste this good in England. It beats Gordon Ramseys' place on the Linq promenade which is twice as expensive. The double cut prime rib can feed an army. At $49.95 it will satisfy any carnivore. The Village Pub at Ellis Island is usually the first stop when we drive into Las Vegas. They're always open. The service has always been welcoming. The restaurant is also family friendly.

Yelp
Well it was a good run but unfortunately the steak special is no longer worth the deal. I'm one of those that any gristle or fat in a steak and I have to cut it out. The steak I recieved today was full of gristle and near inedible. To bad, Ellis Island was always on my itinerary anytime I visit Vegas but I won't waste my time or money any longer.

Yelp
Everytime we visit Las Vegas, we make sure to stop by the Village Pub and Cafe at Ellis Island Hotel and Casino. These are the best mashed potatoes and gravy I have ever had. Everything tastes fresh and the prices are reasonable. The restaurant is clean and we have always had good service. I recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
Update Sept 2023: Came back here for the 10 oz NY steak and eggs special now $9.99. The restaurant is very clean, the same server from last year. Very friendly and courteous. I tried scrambled eggs this time. They were ok but would have liked them a bit runny instead of fully cooked. Next time, I will get them over-easy. If you're looking for a cheap and high-quality steak and eggs breakfast, this place at Ellis Island Hotel and Casino definitely fits the bill.

Yelp
Located within Ellis Island Hotel and Casino, this place is worth visiting. First off, they're known for their amazing king-cut Prime Rib dinners. Our server, Stephanie, was super friendly and helpful. She did a great job! We ended up eating their prime rib dinner, and it didn't disappoint. For under $30, this is the ultimate bargain in town. The casual ambiance is inviting. If you're on a tight budget, this is the place to be! Yum!!!!

Yelp
I don't understand the negative reviews, because I thought this place was good! You get big portions for your bucks! I had ordered French onion soup and their cheese quesadilla. It tasted amazing! My friend had country fried steak which came with baked potatoes, green beans, and side of soup. We didn't get the chance to finish it all due to the size of our meal. It was worth it! Caught me by surprised how great everything was! Wish I had known about this place earlier! Thanks to my friend who brought me here.

Yelp
Ordered a wrap to go and specified no buffalo sauce. I m allergic, got home and took a bite, now I m covered in hives and vomiting, my whole body feels on fire because of the buffalo sauce in it .. I do not have time to take it all the way back so I tried reaching them over the phone and no one to talk to but a robot. Not cool at all, considering the food prices these days as well. I m annoyed
