The food here is really good. The chicken pasta was good. The fish and chips was a lot of food. The pricing is a great value. The opportunity was the service. Our hostess sat us. He very friendly, got our drinks and then it took awhile to see our server. Once she came, she was very friendly and knowledgeable, but we didn’t see her again until after our food arrived by the runner. A couple of our drinks sat empty before finally getting a refill. Minor inaccuracies like strawberry jelly did not come when we requested it. I said I didn’t need any of the tartar sauce or lemons with my fish and chips, and it came. My 2 relatives who asked for their steaks rare as can be came medium rare. Then it took awhile to get our check. Seems like either really short handed or lack of urgency to exceed customer’s expectations. Definitely great food and value will keep us coming back, but if the service doesn’t step up, it may deter us in the future.

Google
Great food at a great price. Our sever went beyond the best. It was an anniversary breakfast. Wednesday 9/17/ around 8:30 am. I didn't get the young ladies name who was very kind and pleasant. Thank you! We'll be back.

Google
The food is good, serving size is adequate. Service is hit or miss depending on staffing, but all the servers are really nice so they get five stars. The price is fair for the quality and amount of food. They have great root beer and daily specials. The fish and chips are the best!

For local bar food this is a great spot to pop in at anytime. 24 hours a day you can get the steak and eggs for $9.99. The service is always good as usually it’s not too packed and even if there is a good amount of people, the food comes out quickly. The bartenders are always nice and quick to get you drink.

The server, Norman, was really nice. The place looks beautiful. However, we walked in and nobody came to seat us and another couple. My husband had to go find someone. Then we waited a long time for our food. My chicken was like rubber. I could not even eat it. I had to send it back. My husband's pot pie was good for him.

Fast friendly service. This place was busy and when we got there, they seated us right away. The food was delicious. The cost of everything was average.

Google
We recently had dinner, the turkey special and patti melt, and both were good. Chuy, our server, was very good and Joseph ( Manager) was equally good in checking on our experience. As mentioned from another reviewer they have daily specials and they were priced at $14.99 except for the steak special. The portions for the turkey dinner was enough for lunch the following day. Definitely recommend Village Pub on Horizon.

Google
Only two of employees when we were there but it was 9:30pm. Food was great hot and fresh the buffalo cauliflower was awesome. Had the 9.99 steak and eggs. Eggs and potatoes were great. Start well it’s a $9 steak and eggs it’s good no complaints next time I’ll get it medium. The drinks are huge. I mean really huge. They made a special quesadilla for my son. Reasonable pricing and good food. Can’t beat that.

Yelp
We had the farthest corner booth to celebrate a 22nd birthday of a friend. The server was very sweet and nice (we come here semi regularly after work). I put my wife on speaker phone to sing happy bday to my co worker, on a Friday night, in the farthest corner booth, and one of the bartenders tells me I need to 'take it outside, or leave!' (Dolly was this bartenders name). Uhm- we are in the farthest booth, away from everybody, on a Friday night celebrating a fucking young kids birthday, just on a crappy speaker phone. no reason, totally ridiculous. After several minutes, I walked up to the bar and I told her I could hear her conversation w her bar customer, and it was bothering our table. She immediately 86'd me. Totally hypocritical. Totally out of line. We weren't drunk, I was not belligerent, I had paid my tab. Fuck Dolly. Our work crew will go to the other bar on blue diamond. We liked village pub, until this psycho.

Yelp
Village Pub has become one of my favorite local eateries. The daily specials they have are great and the servers are all friendly and provide excellent service. Some of my favorites are the chicken pot pie, fish and chips, shrimp scampi, and prime rib special. The portions are great value for the price and I always have leftovers to take home. I've only dined for dinner but should definitely try them for breakfast. Village Pub is consistent and I'll keep coming back.

Yelp
Food was amazing!! Service by Jeremy was above and beyond!! We will definitely revisit this establishment!

Yelp
The service is the friendliest and super efficient. The ambience, simple. The food, tasty. But they need a new provisioning manager. They're always out of something. Delicious potato chicken soup of the day? Sorry, we ran out. The delicious turkey special on Sunday? I've enjoyed it once and have been told they ran out three times. And not at 10pm, but 5:30 and so! When your mouth is whet for something, Village has to realize they're disappointing guests and not encouraging repeat business.

Yelp
As someone who comes and eats at this chain a lot, I am very disappointed with this location! They hardly checked on us, needed a coffee refill! Forgot the appetizer but they did apologize! Everyone got their meal while I waited 20 min. 100 percent unacceptable! The waiter was nice but this was not ok! The place was not that busy! Ticket in ticket out is how it works and it didn't here! My meal never came! The jumbo burrito was cold and wasn't jumbo at all! The chicken fried chicken looked amazing! To recap, they admitted to forgetting my order. I asked for a manager and still waited for that. Unreal!

Yelp
Today, my wife and I made our annual St. Patrick's Day visit to Village Pub. Mind you, we go there regularly, not just on this date. I usually enjoy the good food and value, but today was not one of those days. The wife and I both ordered the corned beef and cabbage. After the salad and soup, we waited quite a while for the dinner. I figured it was because almost everyone in the restaurant was ordering it, so we understood. When the manager dropped off our meals, I was surprised at the small amount of corned beef. I mentioned to my wife that they must be running low, so again I understood. What I did not understand was when others served after us had much larger portions of the corned beef. It was at least double, if not triple the size. Each of these meals was $19.99, which is pretty high for Village Pub. After paying the check, I asked to speak with the manager. When he finally came out (name is Billy), I explained to him my disappointment. He told me that everyone got served the same amount. I asked him if we could just walk by some tables and see the amount they received. At this point, Billy got agitated and said, "You can't chase customers in the restaurant." I said we weren't chasing them, but just walking past to glance at their plates as I did when I got up from my table. He would not do it. He never apologized or showed any empathy. He did say, "What do you want? Do you want me to pack you one to go?" Of course I said no, because I couldn't trust what they might do to the food. We were supposed to have a dinner for 4 tomorrow, but instead will find a different restaurant, one that values it customers. Lastly, they have lost us as long-time customers, and maybe that's just fine with Billy.

Yelp
Prices, food!!!!! The quality of their food is disgusting. Never hot food, either burned or raw food. Everytime we ate there food would go back.

Yelp
Dined here with my husband for dinner one night at this local bar. The ambiance was very dark and out dated. The staff was super friendly and the Service was good, but I personally wasn't crazy about the food. My steak had a lot of fat and was very chewy. It looked better than it taste. The mash potatoes were very bland and the battered fried shrimp taste very doughy. We did order the buffalo cauliflower as an appetizer, which was very tasty. Needless to say I left disappointed and unfortunately wouldn't come back.

Yelp
While the food was good, server never refilled our drink. But the thing that really mad me and my husband mad. Was the whinny lady and family behind us. We were watching the news on the TV. And suddenly the women in the booth caught the server walking by and whined that she didn't want to watch the news and asked him to change the channel to TNT. And then when he did change it. She instructed him to change both TV's .....WELL she wasn't the only family in the restaurant That was inconsiderate to not even ask the tables around us. I mean really who is she !!!! Well needless to say we will not be dining any time soon!

Yelp
I have to say, this is a great place to get awesome food at great prices....reminds me of how Vegas used to be back in the day! Love the onion rings, Chicken Pot Pie, and especially the Fish and Chips. I always say I am going to try something new when I go but I always get stuck on those! LOL Every one of the staff has been really great and after visiting other Village Pub locations, I would say that this one and the Ellis Island location are definitely the best choice for food. I don't drink so I cannot attest to which of them has a better bar...sorry!

Yelp
My sister wanted to come here for dinner since we stayed nearby hotel. On a Saturday late afternoon in February, we arrived at senior time and got a table. The decor is definitely old school with booths and tables. The menu has steak and eggs 24 hr special $9.99 which is a great deal and daily specials. My brother and sister got the steak and eggs and I got the chicken panini sandwich with small tater tots. My chicken was cooked too long and it was chewy and the sweet potatoes tater tots are small like I get from supermarket which is why I gave 3 stars. My sister and brother loved their steak and eggs deal. Service was very good on refills. Parking available

Yelp
I went here for the first time, never really thought the place was what it was always drove past it, but went in and it just was comfortable. My Son ordered the ice cream brownie dessert. I was with a friend of mine, and she ordered the fish and chips and I myself ordered the chicken pot pie, it was amazing. I really questioned the chicken pot pie because not everybody can make a chicken pot pie but not only was it full of flavor very good and the service was great. Patty was awesome thank you I will be returning.

Jefferson T.

Yelp
The food is just okay, considering all the good reviews I was moderately dissatisfied. The service was also pretty slow. They took over 10 minutes to take my order and my food took over 20 minutes. Additionly, where I was sitting you can smell cigarette smoke coming from the bar. When I asked them to shut the little window separating the dining area from the bar, it was left open again within a few minutes. Overall not terrible but not very good either. There really shouldn't be cigarette smoke in the dining area.

Yelp
Visited last night with my family and Nick helped us. He was so helpful and gave us incredible customer service. Made us want to come back for dinner more often. Pot pie was amazing as well as all of our other food.

Yelp
VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE VILLAGE PUB ON EASTERN HENDERSON. We ordered some takeout A rack of ribs. We ordered BBQ sauce on the side. When my wife went in to pick it up they said they put the sauce on the side when we got it home The Rack of ribs was dry and obviously left over from lunch it was so dry it was almost uneditable and a third smaller than they normally are. Instead of throwing these out they palmed them off on a to go order. NOT HAPPY. We used to eat at village pub on Eastern all the time but after this subpar quality of food we don't think we'll be back there's too many other barbecue places out there.

Yelp
My go to pub and late night food spot! I know we all miss the steak and egg prices of the old days but I can appreciate that the prices have remained mostly low. I typically get either the steak and egg special, the pot pie or the fish and chips. The steak and eggs is pretty consistent. 80% the steak is solid, cooked to requested doneness (medium rare) and good flavor. But that 20% of the time it's well done cooked and small. Steggs is a gamble so you know what you're getting into. The eggs are pretty alright! And the potatoes I always ask for crispy because sometimes they're a little soggy. The pot pie is always on point. Super hot and fresh with buttery flakey crust. Soooooo good. And the fish and chips is also on point as well! Tasty fries, tender fish and great malt vinegar to accompany. Amazing. Overall I love my local village pub. It's always there when you need it. If it's 3am and you need some grub; this is a great spot.

Yelp
I decided to give this place a try for lunch today and was not disappointed. They are open 24hrs and have a steak and egg for $9.99. Can't beat that. The food was really good. Service was great at this location. The ambiance gives off old diner vibes. Plenty of big booths and tables inside and the menu has a little bit of everything. I know there is a different section separate from the diner which has a bar in it. Next time I'm near here I will explore the menu a little more.

Yelp
If I could give it no stars, I would. I have no idea how the food is because, it never came. After giving our server our order of 2 sandwiches, she disappeared. I flagged down the only other server that we could see and told him it has been over 20 minutes since we put in our order or saw our server, he said he would check for us. He came back telling us that there was a big order in front of us and it would be a while longer. It would have made it at least a half hour wait for a couple of sandwiches....REALLY???? Needless to say we left without so much as an apollogy. On the other hand, we got to finally try Remedy's on St. Rose. Delicious and good service.
google avatar

Yelp
Great fish and chips, and chicken pot pie is so good with flaky crust like pastry dough crust!

Yelp
The ribs are the reason I go. The BBQ sauce is awesome. The service was super fast and all the staff helped each other when it was busy. Love old ship decor.

Yelp
A very nice family style restaurant that has something for everyone. Friday night special is delicious shrimp, cole slaw, French fries, soup or salad...we chose clam chowder. Everything was delicious !! Our server is efficient and personable. Restaurant is clean and we'll kept. We will return

Yelp
The service (super slow) and quality of food has declined over the years. My daughter ordered the breakfast burrito and while it was OK, it had an overwhelming amount of potatoes in it. It was a potato burrito. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and it was mediocre - it's not hard to make the gravy and it was made with sausage links instead of crumbled (only my preference and I'll just make it the next time I crave it).
google avatar

Yelp
Ribs were great service was on par, will be stopping by again for lunch! I liked the daily specials and I definitely going to try them next time I'm by

Yelp
This place is a no frills place to dine when you want hearty dishes at really reasonable prices. There are other Village Pubs throughout the area but this review is for the one in Anthem, Henderson. They have a very good cranberry pecan salad that is served with garlic bread. The fish and chips are good, as is the steak and eggs. It's a very quiet location, and the vibe is very different then other locations like at Ellis Island. Service is good, but a little slow. It's a place to leisurely dine and you can also play some poker in the separate bar area. If you don't like smoke, skip playing there as it's pretty bad. It's the same food the the Village pub at Ellis island serves without the long wait to get a table...

James C.

Yelp
I went in for breakfast got the two eggs over easy with sweet potato puffs and bacon with rye toast. Food was cooked to perfection the service had much to be desired. Took 20 minutes before someone took my order and then another 30 minutes to get my food. I thought they were pulling the eggs out of their chicken butts before I got my breakfast.

Dwayne W.

Yelp
Best fish & chips in Henderson and the price IS RIGHT - love it and order it every Friday
google avatar

Yelp
This place feels like a pub with slot machines in all in it lol. We stopped here for some fun and food. Got my gamble on with some blackjack and Poker. Great games here to play. Also I played Buffalo, and a couple other games. Good buffet prices and food. But I think they stopped that during Covid. ANyway, great people and casino. We will be back.

Yelp
A village rising to meet the needs of others, to join together in a union. What's the occasion? Whatever it might be that your seeking can be sought here. This is both a bar and restaurant. To one side is the bar and the other opposite side a full service restaurant. In the sense that more of a local pub sort of feel on the bar end, then on the other side a place for the rest of the family plus kids. It's a family tradition among these restaurants located throughout Las Vegas and Henderson that they wanted to provide a place for eating with the family, then bar side; how about drinking and gambling? So let's go have some fun with a game or two and a drink, then meet with rest of the family for dinner. Tracey, oh Tracey what a dear to all things vibes through the Village. She was my guide many times when we took the twins to eat. On many occasions business lunches would happen here in this very dining room. The family togetherness resonate; which keeps me coming back. The menu here is comfort food with simplicity. Every day is a posted special on the wall with prices that don't break any budget. Some examples of these daily specials would be pot roast with mashed potatoes, salad and bread for under ten dollars. The potions are confirmed man size. The twins have always enjoyed my meatloaf; but once a week it's on special here. Their meatloaf could of come from mamas kitchen. The vibes are Italian in style, colors, and warmth but a little something extra. Come discover the something extra, today. Mmmmmm, meat it's what's for dinner today. Meatloaf, pork chops, ribs if this is making your mouth water that read on your in the right hand place. This is our men's paradise, for us ladies they have shrimp. They offer great pairing with salads that are tossed and made in house freshly. If your a Turkey club or BLT type it's great especially with sour dough. The menu here is abundant. If it's not on the menu then ask they can probably provide and make what you seek. When my husband, would take me to dinner he said constantly, ya need to eat. So it's not a salad type place here ladies. When our men bring us to these kind of restaurants, they want us to be full. "Our men want us to feel the same comfort that whatever their eating is making them smile and cozy." The food here ladies, I believe, makes our men think of simpler times when a meatloaf made sense; plus provided a loving memory. Share that with them, enjoy the gift of food with your loved one. This is the type of food that causes ripples of joy because of the warm and tender moments that were shared by and with them. Close your eyes and remember now. The meatloaf is on order, with baked potatoes, fresh greens, soft bread with melted butter and a salad. Besides the meatloaf plate here; seafood is a favorite of mine. The shrimp here is fantastic. It's cooked to order, with the right balance of lemon and butter. Never too much butter for the shrimp. The food is always so filling, but for whatever reason every time I keep looking down at the fork it's in my hand. While in between jokes and laughs with the family, after a while your plate is just empty. Where did my dinner go? Oh, there's dinner; I feel it. Mmmmm, full. "It's that full feeling." Go to that place, where all the cooking was perfect feeling. No one could harm you. That place where you feel totally free. This is that feeing of the vibes and how the food makes me connect. Comfort zone is what's for dinner here. This is a full service restaurant that has the pub sort of feel and lighting. It's always open and just waiting you. The staff is wonderful and so is the food. Guess what this establishment is an extension of Ellis Island too. They have been around a minute with at least one in your area of Vegas. More than twenty locally owned restaurants, one is just around the corner from you. Go create some warm fuzzy memories for you. Take the family out, put the cell phones away. Tune into one another. Rediscover one another and just laugh for the evening. Leave the cooking to the staff. They will save you a table. Most of the time, they always have a table available. This particular location, is sentimental for my family. The moments that we have shared here. I am happy to share this piece of happiness with you all. Thank you to the staff for always providing the perfect place for us to celebrate and food that was incredible.

Yelp
Good quality food. Good service. And a nice laid back ambiance. The staff is so friendly and respectful upon entering, and it's never too loud or busy. The food is good, nothing absolutely mind blowing but a good place for dinner. But what makes them a good option is how cheap everything is. It's very well priced, nothing too expensive and provides a satisfying dinner with a diverse menu so everyone has something to enjoy.

Sarah H.

Yelp
Excellent Service! Quality above Average! Prices Fair! Nothing fancy just good old fashioned great food and unpretentious atmosphere

G G.

Yelp
Food was reasonably priced. I enjoyed their steak and eggs special. The wings were good as well.

D Q.

Yelp
The food at the Village Pub is always good, but service is a hit or miss. Chris is one who always has a happy face, kind word or laugh for his tables. The others run around like their heads are cut off wondering how to get everything done. Some of the younger staff are extremely rude and unhelpful. Likely will be a great while before we return.
google avatar

Al G.

Yelp
We really like Village Pub and a group of us go there at least once a week. Unfortunately, that appears about to change. We typically have 4 to 7 people attend on Tuesdays for lunch and never know who is in town that day. We always get a round table near the kitchen entrance, but last week we were told that we could no longer have a table in that area as it would be closed from now on. We were seated at a table for four and told that they would figure out what to do if there was more people. Luckily we only had four last week, but we need to plan for the larger group. So, unfortunately, I think we'll have to look for an alternative establishment.

Yelp
I went here to try their Fish and Chips. There is ample parking, and lots of seating in the dining area inside. Seating areas are comfortable and well lit. Ambiance was pleasant and relaxing. I asked if I could have a salad instead of the Chips, and they were quite accommodating. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The fish was awesome! You get 3 large pieces of fish. Here's the best part. There is a fried chicken chain in southern california that has awesome tasting chicken, but there are only two locations left. The fried fish here tastes almost exactly like that fried chicken. It was an unexpected but amazing surprise for me! I have gone back and tried some other items. I tried their Chicken Pot Pie, and it was very good. I've also been to a couple other Village Pub locations since, and have not been disappointed at all. The same great Fish and Chips is consistent at all of them. Thank you very much!

Yelp
We came here for my father inlaw's 97th Birthday because this is where he wanted to go. We were a party of 13. Oliver was our server. He was friendly and helpful but because of the businesses limitations, time of day (couldn't have the country eggs Benedict that the 97 yr old wanted), it wasn't Friday (couldn't have clam chowder) He settled on a bowl of French onion soup. :-/ I ordered Fish & Chips, while my date ordered their Classic burger. We both ordered the Ellis Island IPA (local brewery in landlocked Las Vegas Navada). We were not impressed with the beer. The IPA claimed to be 65 but I'd argue that it was lower. I know beer. Service out of the kitchen was a bit sluggish. From orders to table it took +30 minutes :-/ The batter on my fish was not crispy. It was soft and soggy. The fries were also not crispy :-( The only good comment that I can make about the Fish and chips is that there was a lot of (soggy) fish :-) My date's burger was okay, cooked properly but just a basic burger. The rest of the table wasn't disappointed with their meals including their ribs and taco salad. However their alfredo was not impressive and there were leftovers that were not taken home. That says it well. Our Birthday man liked his French onion soup but did not like the cheese this smothered on the top and pushed it to the side and over onto the plate. Oliver was great! I hope it will be a full year before I eat here again for my Father inlaw's 98th Birthday. We won't be back on our own.

Yelp
Love this place for steak and eggs breakfast. Special $8.99! The food is awesome and the location is right on Eastern. We come here at least once a week.

Yelp
Haven't been here in a long time so decided to try it again and it was ok. The hostess said when we came in that they had mimosas and bloody Mary's for $2.50 but the menu she gave us said $3.00. Should you not know your own menu and pricing??? The waiter came over pretty quickly, took our order and drinks. The food came out pretty quickly but the quality was not that great. I had the southwestern skillet which came which chicken, potatoes, etc... The chicken was processed chicken not really chicken and several pieces were not edible. The eggs which were supposed to be over medium were a mix of everything from over easy to over hard and how you manage that one when you have 3 eggs together is a trick I am curious to learn. Overall for Village Pub which used to be a pretty decent place for food is now just blah. It's not a place I would go back to, it's kind of disappointing. I ordered a mimosa and it tasted like crap so I didn't drink it. The waiter even came over and asked why I wasn't drinking it, I told him I didn't like it and he just shrugged his shoulders and walked away. He never took it off the bill or said anything else about it? They also do not give discounts to military which alone makes it a place I won't support any longer. They do give discounts to Metro which he said used to be 100% and now is only 50% because a large group of police came in and did not tip the server so now it's only 50%. Still military should get something. You can try this place and write your own review but for now, I won't go back, too many other options with better food who also supports our military.

Scott H.

Yelp
The food used to be good here, but not anymore. In 2015 it was great, in 2024 it's prob the worst food I've ever had worse than hospital food. Restaurant had a weird disinfectant smell to boot. Ordered a chicken sandwich; it was burnt and cold. Highly avoid this place if you plan to eat there.

Yelp
There isn't many places that stay true to there local atmosphere. Came in on Thanksgiving not having the best day. Dan was amazing. It's hard to find quality service and bartenders anymore. Who actually care. It's been a minute since I came to the Village Pub. Dan is the the reason why local bars survive. He's truly an asset to the village pub. Thanks Dan!!!!

Laura H.

Yelp
Food was amazing and the portions are huge! The service was unbelievable (I had a rough day the day I visited and not that the server knew) but he went truly above and beyond to make the experience even better. The fish and chips and Rueben are so good. Also the prices! The prices are so good!

Yelp
Finally was able to come here and try their food. Very busy for a Friday afternoon about 1pm. waited about 10 minutes to be seated. The hostess was new and very nice, and friendly. was prompt on getting our drinks, and silverware out to us. After looking over the menu it took about 10 minutes for the waiter to come over take our order. He was very detailed on the menu and specials going on. My roommate ordered first and wanted the patty melt with steak fries, He asked the waiter what was the difference between the skinny ones and fat one. lol. I ordered the fish and chips with steak fries. I'm gonna say about 15-20 minutes went bye and our food came out. The patty melt was right on,but the fries were skinny and cold. We let them know. and they came out with hot fresh steak fries. My fish and chips came as expected. 3 big pieces, and steak fries 2 tarter sauces too. That tarter sauce was the best i've had in a long time. I just think the waiter should have been more attentive. We saw more of the hostess and was helped by him more than the waiter.

Yelp
Food is delicious. We had the monthly sandwich special, Parmesan Cajun chicken sandwich and it was amazing. I wish it was a regular menu item. SOOOO good. Our server Dean was great as well. Told us about the specials and just very pleasant to talk to.

Yelp
If ever in Vegas, and want to get away from The Strip for a quality meal, look for one of the locals spot called Village Pub! I've been visiting Village Pub locations for at least 10 years, and every time I'm in town I run into a new location! It's a pub in a sense, but the food is not bar food as you know it. It's more comfort food that's done restaurant style rather than in a bar! Their Fish n Chips are absolutely the best I've ever had! There's three large cod filets with an excellent beer batter coating! The steak fries are numerous for sure and cooked perfectly! From the tender pork ribs, huge steak burgers, meatloaf, and salads, Village Pub is so much more than a traditional pub!

Yelp
The full slab of babyback ribs with sides served at Ellis Island for $12.99 is the best deal in town. Total hidden gem in Vegas. I am just not a fan of the parking situation there, or the long wait (unless you get there before they open). And they brew their own beer and have a really good boot beer too. But if you have kids and dining on a budget, you can't bring them to eat there. Them are the rules. No exceptions. You can order it to go. No need to get upset at me, I just work here. Some tourists are jerks (not the words used in my head, still tryna keep it family friendly). You can try Metro Pizza, they are pretty cheap too. Kinda. Wait a sec. This IS a review for "Village Pub & Poker". Why is this fool telling me about Ellis Island Casino and their BBQ? What an idiot. Not Useful at all! Funny wise guy wasting my time is totally not Cool. Sheesh. Dude, stop being so judgeamental. (Mr. Autocorrect, what do you mean it is spelled judgmental?) Like I have been mispronouncing this word the whole time, and no one bothered to correct me?!? I'm gonna need a minute. Okay, I am good now. Learning something new everyday. Check. So, yes, where was I? Before I had my imaginary rehearse conversation and learning to spell a new word in the process... Ellis Island's famous hidden gem full slab of Babyback Ribs for a steal of $12.99. The "Village Pub & Poker" locations might serve that on their menu!!! I know for certain the location on Eastern as you gradually drive away from the bright lights of Las Vegas and gaining elevation heading towards the rich neighborhood in Anthems have it on their menu. But not their not quite as famous BBQ Chicken (bartender told us each location may have slightly different items on their food menu). In fact comparing to the restaurant menus between Village Pub and Ellis Island BBQ, the selection is way larger and more diverse than just the Ribs or BBQ Chicken or 1/2 Ribs & 1/2 Chicken Combo served at Ellis Island BBQ. I am still surprised that the two businesses share at least some of the same owners/investors. Like, I use like a lot, sorry annoying habit like a bad proverbial drug addiction, I would be promoting the heck out of this fact that you can get $12.99 full rack of Babyback Ribs without driving to Ellis Island. And they have locally brewed beers that Ellis Island brews on tap here! Size of the glass is smaller here, but still, pretty good trade off for the beers and food option without the long drive. And it is open 24 hours a day! You do have to be buzzed in after hours. And make sure whoever works inside can see you on their camera. I was wondering why the door was locked and when my friend pressed the buzzer and walks away to talk on the phone, nothing happened, and we just waited outside for 15 minutes. At least the weather was finally nice and early fall-like. Anyway, service was friendly (we were obviously seated at the bar section with the video gaming machines), food came out pretty fast. The Ribs was not quite as good as the ones I've ordered at Ellis Island, but still better than most other nearby options. My friends enjoyed the beer selections. The side Sautéed Vegetables is pretty big, if you just want something healthier to munch on. The Root Beer Float looks good too (not even sure if you can even order it at Ellis Island BBQ, since I am usually too full to order that after the usual order of full slab of ribs). So I would most likely be back again (after hours), since during normal biz hours I most likely would hit up Crafts Kitchen or try out Burger Joint, both are located in the same plaza. Bonus: Their restroom is clean and bigger than I though it might have been. Might just have been cleaned too.

Yelp
The restaurant is very clean and there was no wait for lunch. After 11am, they no longer serve pancakes or French toast. I ordered a burger and fries and while it came out hot, it did feel like it was sitting under the heat lamp for a while before it hit the table because the food was a little dry and the internal temperature felt warmer than it should be. The food was ok, but the burger tasted like a frozen patty. The best food I've eaten here would be the steak special and the root beer. Those are always good and consistent. I would go elsewhere when looking for a burger.

Yelp
We held a work meeting at this location and it was worth the drive! Great menu, fantastic prices, and the food was amazing! The staff we very friendly and not put off by our group at all. It was a great place to eat and still be able to hear each other enough to get work done. Highly recommend!
