Best Fried Chicken in San Francisco - Eater SF

"As the name implies, the stars of the menu at this casual Noe Valley restaurant are the ones spinning away on the imported Australian rotisserie. But if you’re craving something fried, the restaurant also drapes its birds in a well-seasoned, golden brown batter. Three boneless pieces of chicken come with your choice of sauce and you can’t go wrong with the spicy peri peri and a side of duck fat potatoes." - Lauren Saria, Eater Staff

Where to Find the Best Roast Chicken in San Francisco - Eater SF

"An Aussie-style chicken shop spun into Noe Valley in fall 2021, serving rotisserie chickens, duck fat potatoes, and lemony broccoli salad. The owners are a brother and sister who grew up in Sydney but now live with their families in the neighborhood and understand the desperation of busy parents, tech personalities, and everyone else who would rather not cook their own dinner tonight. Step right up to the counter for takeout, or wind through to the back to kick it under fringe umbrellas on stripy deck chairs." - Eater Staff

We tried both rotisserie and fried chicken, both were delicious! Friend chicken tasted lean, crispy, and juicy. Rotisserie chicken had good moist to it and very crispy skin. Fries were one of the best in the city: crunchy, crispy, but soft inside. The salad was great too! So where dips. Definitely coming back to trie more things. And of, very nice service.

Update: they allow dogs on the back patio! Very welcoming to dogs & kids!! Original: Delicious sauces, salads, fries and chicken dishes! Staff is very friendly and if you have the chance enjoy the outdoor back patio!

I was really looking forward to trying this place out. Bought the family meal for dinner tonight and was unfortunately disappointed. Chicken was dry and skin was hard. Brussels sprouts were mushy and tasted like it was cooked earlier in the day. The family meal came with only two tiny sauces for a whole chicken... And the two sauces weren't even the same size. Peri Peri sauce was in a "bigger" container than the garlic sauce, which was the better tasting sauce of the two. By the time we finished half the chicken the sauces were all used up. The arugula salad and French fries were the only shining stars of the meal.

Chicken is my favorite food and the fried chicken here delivers. The fried chicken is boneless chicken thighs FYI, and it’s great. Buttermilk brine (I think) and then great breading/seasoning. The garlic sauce was good - pretty much heavy garlic mayo/aioli. Nice outdoor seating area. As a hot sauce fan, I’d introduce more than sriracha for the tables. Some tapatio or even Texas Pete.

The 3 piece boneless fried chicken was great. It was well seasoned without being salty. I choose two sides the seasoned fingerling potatoes were tasty, the brussele sprouts were not on point for me because they were mushy. Loved the garlic dipping sauce. My wife enjoyed the rotisserie chicken she reported it being moist and tasty. I'd drive across town for the fried chicken...I'll bring my own Crystal hot sauce too. Ample space both inside and out. The lavatories were very clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly.

One of the best fried chicken sandwiches in the city. And the fries are great, too.
