A Giant New Orange County Project Promises Craft Beer, Steaks, and a Swimming Pool | Eater LA

"Using the existing Modern Times brewing equipment left in the facility, Kominek—who spent years in Southern California craft beer—has been able to get brewing up quickly and plans to release a dozen or more beers under the name Villains Brewery by spring, with an accompanying beer-pairing menu designed to tie the brewery more closely to the restaurant; the Villains name is an inside joke from Kominek’s time at Noble Ale Works." - Sean Vukan

This is place is so cool! Came here for a horror event and I had a great time. There is so much space! There’s a spirits haunted house, a terrace overlooking the whole bar, a pool area, a dinning area and a bar area. There’s food omg so good! Got wings and mini sliders and they were delicious. The drinks are awesome I recommend their tap beers

Been waiting to visit Villain’s for over a year! We finally planned a Disney trip and this was on the top of the itinerary! It didn’t let us down. First off, accessing the parking lot can be tricky, as Google Maps couldn’t seem to find the entrance. We parked on the street and walked the wrong way around the building to get inside. So if you go in the evening, just remember the parking lot is the driveway after the house next to Villains along the street. While they didn’t have a wide variety of beer styles, they did have the most popular styles including IPA’s, Stouts, and Seltzers, all of which were delicious IMO. The food came quickly and was very tasty as well. I honestly expected our bill to be far higher than it was as that was the theme on our trip to Anaheim. That was a nice surprise. Grok informed me that Villains might not be kid friendly, but I am telling you they are. Our five year old son LOVED the horror theme and couldn’t get enough of all the artwork and statues. They a large courtyard, a pool(we didn’t actually see it, but heard about it), and a family-friendly environment with a food hall and speakeasy(didn’t see the Soeakeasy either, but that’s the point, right?!!) We actually went back the next night as well with family that arrived a day later. They loved it as well. Only negative? Both is us wanted t-shirts and they didn’t have any in medium or XL. Hopefully they restock soon.

A few steps away from the Anaheim Packing House is this Brewery’s Restaurant. Shipping containers meets warehouse with a nice outdoor dining area. Bar seating is open and table seating is done through the podium up front. Parking can be a challenge so just use any of the other legal parking lots and streets in the area. Everything is very walkable and that’s coming from someone who takes a car to the corner store. The Open Pool. There is a pool which is really unique for a brewery. This summer it is open during the day. However I’m not sure if it’s just walk in or reservations required as I found conflicting information. So just call ahead and ask. The me he has an abundance of restaurant items from appetizers to full entrees. A great spot for lunch or dinner. The beer selection is strong with something for today’s current market. A good amount of seltzer, lagers, and IPAs. As a beer enthusiast I personally think the beers leave a lot to be desired in terms of complexity. But anyone who likes a good beer and a cool environment would enjoy what they have. Service: this brewery runs more like a restaurant. I see the bar serving drinks for the establishment and servers running around taking orders. I don’t really get the true brewery spirit but nonetheless the space they created is fun and unique. Service does seem to be on of this places challenges as I have been reading and encountered. It took me a while to even order a beer at the bar so I just one and hopped over to nearby locations after.

I love the vibe here! And the decor is so cool. The brisket criss-cut fries were delicious. I enjoyed a flight sampling 4 brews. Loved that I could mix the brews with the seltzers. And the safety meeting shot "watermelon candy shots" delish! Well worth the drive from Palm Springs!

This place is awesome! I can only speak of the outside area because we never went indoors. It’s a very cool vibe the minute you walk in. We had a 4:30 reservation and we were seated right on time. We were served a jug of water and some cups right away. Our waitress was super sweet and she told us how busy the bar was so the drinks may take a while. We appreciate the honesty up front. And yes the drinks took about 15 minutes but it was totally worth the wait! The lemonade seltzer was excellent! Hubby loves the Hawaiian punch seltzer too. The menu is great. A lot of choices from tacos to hot dogs. Burgers to salads. Everything is about $15-$20. The birria tacos were delicious! Our table also ordered the smash burger, half chicken, chicken strips, and the chili dog. No one had any complaints about the food. They even brought the puppy three large burger patties for free. So cool! Parking can be a little tricky but be patient and you’ll get a spot.

I used to be annoyed at this place because of the parking situation! But just make sure you don’t park on the street next door since it’s permitted parking only. It’s best to go during off time and happy hour! So much space and the Happy Hour menu is quite good! We got wings, nachos, sliders, and 2 drinks for 45$! Pretty good pricing. The dogs can get a beef patty for free and water:)

This was a really quick trip and because of that, definitely going to have to take another trip with more time. They have an entire pool that I did not get to explore, a second story and even a room where they have a bunch of cool themed stuff from what the beertender told us. Their Saca La Bolsita sounded good so I ordered it and when I got it, it was the best thing ever! Perfect presentation and incredible taste with the packet of lime salt. Definitely look forward to coming down here again to try more of their good stuff! And the food!

Our visit had some significant drawbacks. The music was excessively loud, and the misters were set too high, leading to water pooling on umbrellas and dripping onto tables and chairs. To make matters worse, food was missing from our order, and it was challenging to get help from our waitress to resolve this. While the beer and seltzers were delicious, it was frustrating that the vegan tenders were noticeably smaller yet more expensive than the regular tenders.
