A Giant New Orange County Project Promises Craft Beer, Steaks, and a Swimming Pool | Eater LA

"Using the existing Modern Times brewing equipment left in the facility, Kominek—who spent years in Southern California craft beer—has been able to get brewing up quickly and plans to release a dozen or more beers under the name Villains Brewery by spring, with an accompanying beer-pairing menu designed to tie the brewery more closely to the restaurant; the Villains name is an inside joke from Kominek’s time at Noble Ale Works." - Sean Vukan

The tacos and taquitos were good. The environment is greatly themed. The bathrooms were missing toilet paper in 2/3 stalls. It is a good place to hang with friends but my drink was just too sweet for my taste.

This is place is so cool! Came here for a horror event and I had a great time. There is so much space! There’s a spirits haunted house, a terrace overlooking the whole bar, a pool area, a dinning area and a bar area. There’s food omg so good! Got wings and mini sliders and they were delicious. The drinks are awesome I recommend their tap beers

Been waiting to visit Villain’s for over a year! We finally planned a Disney trip and this was on the top of the itinerary! It didn’t let us down. First off, accessing the parking lot can be tricky, as Google Maps couldn’t seem to find the entrance. We parked on the street and walked the wrong way around the building to get inside. So if you go in the evening, just remember the parking lot is the driveway after the house next to Villains along the street. While they didn’t have a wide variety of beer styles, they did have the most popular styles including IPA’s, Stouts, and Seltzers, all of which were delicious IMO. The food came quickly and was very tasty as well. I honestly expected our bill to be far higher than it was as that was the theme on our trip to Anaheim. That was a nice surprise. Grok informed me that Villains might not be kid friendly, but I am telling you they are. Our five year old son LOVED the horror theme and couldn’t get enough of all the artwork and statues. They a large courtyard, a pool(we didn’t actually see it, but heard about it), and a family-friendly environment with a food hall and speakeasy(didn’t see the Soeakeasy either, but that’s the point, right?!!) We actually went back the next night as well with family that arrived a day later. They loved it as well. Only negative? Both is us wanted t-shirts and they didn’t have any in medium or XL. Hopefully they restock soon.

A few steps away from the Anaheim Packing House is this Brewery’s Restaurant. Shipping containers meets warehouse with a nice outdoor dining area. Bar seating is open and table seating is done through the podium up front. Parking can be a challenge so just use any of the other legal parking lots and streets in the area. Everything is very walkable and that’s coming from someone who takes a car to the corner store. The Open Pool. There is a pool which is really unique for a brewery. This summer it is open during the day. However I’m not sure if it’s just walk in or reservations required as I found conflicting information. So just call ahead and ask. The me he has an abundance of restaurant items from appetizers to full entrees. A great spot for lunch or dinner. The beer selection is strong with something for today’s current market. A good amount of seltzer, lagers, and IPAs. As a beer enthusiast I personally think the beers leave a lot to be desired in terms of complexity. But anyone who likes a good beer and a cool environment would enjoy what they have. Service: this brewery runs more like a restaurant. I see the bar serving drinks for the establishment and servers running around taking orders. I don’t really get the true brewery spirit but nonetheless the space they created is fun and unique. Service does seem to be on of this places challenges as I have been reading and encountered. It took me a while to even order a beer at the bar so I just one and hopped over to nearby locations after.

Google
This was a really quick trip and because of that, definitely going to have to take another trip with more time. They have an entire pool that I did not get to explore, a second story and even a room where they have a bunch of cool themed stuff from what the beertender told us. Their Saca La Bolsita sounded good so I ordered it and when I got it, it was the best thing ever! Perfect presentation and incredible taste with the packet of lime salt. Definitely look forward to coming down here again to try more of their good stuff! And the food!

Google
I used to be annoyed at this place because of the parking situation! But just make sure you don’t park on the street next door since it’s permitted parking only. It’s best to go during off time and happy hour! So much space and the Happy Hour menu is quite good! We got wings, nachos, sliders, and 2 drinks for 45$! Pretty good pricing. The dogs can get a beef patty for free and water:)

I love the vibe here! And the decor is so cool. The brisket criss-cut fries were delicious. I enjoyed a flight sampling 4 brews. Loved that I could mix the brews with the seltzers. And the safety meeting shot "watermelon candy shots" delish! Well worth the drive from Palm Springs!

Google
This place is awesome! I can only speak of the outside area because we never went indoors. It’s a very cool vibe the minute you walk in. We had a 4:30 reservation and we were seated right on time. We were served a jug of water and some cups right away. Our waitress was super sweet and she told us how busy the bar was so the drinks may take a while. We appreciate the honesty up front. And yes the drinks took about 15 minutes but it was totally worth the wait! The lemonade seltzer was excellent! Hubby loves the Hawaiian punch seltzer too. The menu is great. A lot of choices from tacos to hot dogs. Burgers to salads. Everything is about $15-$20. The birria tacos were delicious! Our table also ordered the smash burger, half chicken, chicken strips, and the chili dog. No one had any complaints about the food. They even brought the puppy three large burger patties for free. So cool! Parking can be a little tricky but be patient and you’ll get a spot.

Yelp
Jade did such a wonderful job even with her being the only server. She was very attentive and courteous. Definitely recommend, she also put me on this bomb drink it's a sad mom lemonade with tea like a hard Arnold Palmer

Yelp
The service was amazing as always Jade was a super star especially being by herself. She gave us good drink recommendations and made us feel amazing on this Thursday night. She has a great work ethic handling this stressful night. She is a superstar in every sense of the word. We appreciate you Jade and thank you for making this an awesome Thursday evening.

Yelp
Best service ever! Natalie and Jordy are the best servers! Food was awesome and the atmosphere was amazing! Definitely coming back!

Yelp
Jade gave us amazing service was super helpful and great at recommending the food and drinks. 10/10 would come back again and recommend her ! Also, the music was spot-on, my boyfriend and I were singing along to almost every song

Yelp
An easy brewery spot to head to while staying near the Disneyland area to get away from the crowds. Came here for lunch on a Saturday and was easily seated at a semi-outdoor table (the 1st table the host was going to seat us was covered with a ton of leaves and he was trying to clean off the leaves when I asked if we could sit some place else). A fun SoCal vibe on a beautiful day. A big courtyard of trees and tables with tables "indoors" with an open wall concept. The food was tasty and glad we decided to try the brisket fries - very tasty. Loved the sliders since I know I wouldn't have been able to finish a whole burger on my own. The beef and the sauce they had was really tasty. I'd get the same food on a future visit, but I would want to try other items on their menu. Service was ok. Our waitress was totally nice, but just busy. She did offer us (3 in our party) a sample of their horchata beer which was really good!

Yelp
Note: 3% Service Fee added to bill. Parking is extremely limited. Entrance is hidden from the street, I entered literally from the next door house. Good beer selection, blueberry wheat is one of the best I have had. However: Misleading menu on-site offers $3.50 Happy Hour beers, 15 selections listed above the offer but was charged $8.50. No mention of beer prices on the menu otherwise, apparently it was for only for two types. They need to mark the discounted brands on the on-site display, otherwise it is false advertising. Also, waffle fries are bottomless? No mention of it until the receipt was provided. Would have ordered more. The place is huge, good vibe but not much decor for a place called Villains. A few halloween standups & mostly black walls, I expected themed music & more villainy elements, but had pop music & not a very themed / immersive experience. Cool to see the kegs & back of house areas, a very open concept. Staff is very busy, buzz about very quickly, seem professional and was served relatively quickly but would not say it was great. . Two stars for the abysmal parking, 3% service fee and false advertising. Appetizers were fine, nothing special. Almost $30 for a couple drinks & a few waffle fries seems high.

Yelp
Fun, casual spot to hang out. The outdoor seating is very nice and it is a relaxed environment. My party was there for 4 hours and didn't feel like we were being pushed out at all. We brought our own card games to keep us entertained and there were no issues with that. The food was pretty good. The seltzers were fantastic. They tasted like juice. I got the fruit punch seltzer and the majority of my party got the Baja Blast one. The menu of food and drinks is large so there is something for everyone. There were kids, babies, and dogs so you can make it a family outing!

Yelp
Great 10am michelada on a dog walk. Very nice bar tender who was happy to have somebody in the empty space, probably doesn't help that the interweb says they open at 11...

Yelp
What a cool brewery! The Villains theme of the brewery is fun and unique. The brewery has a ton of outdoor seating. The indoor seating is more limited and still feels outdoorsy because it isn't completely enclosed. They have cool storage container sections for seating that make it feel a little more private and separated from the rest of the tables. I don't see this being a great place for rainy days or super hot days since it is mostly outdoors. We sat in one of the storage container sections where where was a comfy couch to hang out on. Our server, Jordy, was great! He was friendly, attentive, and took care of us during our visit. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave us a lot of helpful information. We tried a handful of the Villains beers and seltzers. The seltzers were very sweet, but had good flavor. The Mario's Blueberry Kart wheat beer was tasty and refreshing. We also enjoyed their Mexican lager and the horchata beer. We ordered the smoked brisket nachos as a appetizer, double smash burgers, and a grilled cheese. Villains Brewery smokes all of their meat for 16 hours. The brisket nachos were delicious. The nachos were not traditional nachos, they were on waffle fries. It was a nice combination of flavors and textures. The smash burgers are made from a combination of their tri-tip and brisket. The burgers were juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The buns are soft potato buns, the same as Shake Shack's. The burgers came with a side of waffle fries. The waffle fries were slightly crispy but not overcooked. We loved all of the food we had! We would get all of these items again. We also tried the unicorn ice cream sandwich. It was huge and definitely a dessert that can be shared. Thanks Jordy for helping us with the birthday celebration! We saw kids getting "Bizzy Bags" so we asked for one. We should have asked how much they cost because we assumed they were free. They are $8 for those who aren't aware. Theres a merch shop to get some shirts and hoodies from. They mostly had large sizes. Overall, our first visit was an awesome one and worthy of returning next time we are in the area! Villains has delicious beer and food, great service, and an fun environment.

Yelp
I've been here multiple times since they opened and love it! Last visit was in December on a Sunday afternoon and we came to watch some football. We sat in the bar area that is covered which is nice for colder weather as the outside gets cold. The smash burger here is easily top 3, especially the option with the Hawaiian rolls as it gives it flavor. Their fries are good however I feel that they get hard pretty fast. This is a great place to come and hangout with some awesome food and drinks.

Yelp
I thought this spot was pretty cool. The ambiance is fun, primarily outdoor seating, and cool murals playing an ode to the theme. I thought the food was okay. Not too bad but not rave worthy, I'd love to see some more fresh/healthy options. The parking situation is less than ideal but that's expected in this part of town. This is a fun spot for a casual group outing.

Yelp
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Villains Brewery, and I can't say enough good things about my experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The outdoor seating area is fantastic--perfect for enjoying a sunny day with friends. The food is absolutely top-notch! Each dish I tried was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. It pairs perfectly with their extensive selection of craft beers, which are some of the best I've ever tasted. What really sets Villains apart, though, is the attention to detail. They have TVs set up for sports fans, making it a great spot to catch a game while enjoying delicious food and drinks. If you're looking for a place that combines great food, amazing beers, and a fun outdoor vibe, Villains Brewery is the place to be! I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Cool spot with great food and beer/seltzer options for everyone. I got the smash burger and a flight and really enjoyed everything. The smash burger is a blend of tri-tip and brisket and is the bomb! It's a cool open setting with plenty of seating options with some being in cool cutout sections made out of shipping containers. Lots of lighting and wall paintings that fit the name of the brewery. This place is worth a visit!

Yelp
Celebrated an informal holiday hangout with friends at Villains Brewing Company a few weeks ago. The ambiance was perfect, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the food/drinks were delicious. We came in on a Sunday around brunch time and, although they had several diners, the wait time for anything was minimal. Overall, a great first experience at Villains Brewing Company. Villains Brewing Company is located on Anaheim Boulevard in Anaheim. They do have a small lot for customers to use, but diners should be ready to look for street parking around the area as the number of spots in their lot is limited. As mentioned, we came in on a Sunday, so there was an option to participate in their buffet brunch menu instead of their regular menu. However, everyone in our party opted to order off of the regular menu. My husband and I decided to try the - Western Combo Burger (double patty) - Guacamole Bacon Burger - Garlic Parmesan 6 Wing Combo Everything was tasty and cooked to perfection. The burgers were of high quality and the fries and wings were fried to our liking. Portions were on point; not too much and not too little. We finished our meal more than satisfied. Price point was a little high, but we felt the product justified the price. We would definitely return to Villains Brewing Company again in the future. We discussed how it's a perfect spot for gathering with a group of people and the vibe is just right for an OC/SoCal day.

Yelp
Fun for one and fun for all. Villians hits the spot for everyone from paws and claws, families and friends. Known for their beer. They also offer a selection of small bites, burgers and salads. We were seated right away. I ordered the western smashburger with waffle fries. Absolutely delicious. It is smashed so it is very thin. If you need a meater beefier burger then be sure to order the bigger option. We also ordered trio of the brisket tacos that paired well with the dipping cup. We washed everything down with a couple of pints. The patio gets a little cold. I am sure they have heaters in some sections, just not one near where we sat. Parking is limited. We parked on the street.

Yelp
We attended the Horror Event last night! WOW! What a turn out...packed on a Tuesday!!! Folks from all over the surrounding cities. An AWESOME evening with fun & friendly peeps! Clay from Villains was sooo AWESOME!!! Thank you for being so kind & hospitable. Food is always

Yelp
This place is DOPE! The vibe is unreal! They have bar seating and lots of tables and small rooms with seating. From the outside, you wouldn't realize how huge this place is. The music is a bit loud but they had a great playlist so I was totally good with it. The staff was effiecient and helpful. They have some really awesome murals throughout the brewery. They had drink for everyone, I got an IPA (dealers choice) and my partner got a seltzer. Both were tasty and enjoyable. We shared the brisket with some fries and were so happy with it. The brisket melted in our mouths! Super good! SWAG: They had shirts and hats and enamel pins but they were out of the pins. It looks like they were in the middle of restocking. If you're in the area, I would recommend stopping in. I would come back for sure!

Yelp
Villains Brewing Company is located in downtown Anaheim with plenty of outdoor seating as well as some covered seating. I was intrigued by their BBQ offerings which are prepared with. Tri tip - ($15) - This tri tip was smoked over some oak wood and served slathered in a sweet bbq sauce and accompanied with pickled onions and cornbread. Unfortunately the tri tip was a little tough but it still had an elevated flavor profile. Brisket - $15 - This cut was a bit fatty but was some of the most tender, and fall apart brisket that I have tried. It was the best meat I tried here and I would definitely order this again. Half Chicken - $15 - While the chicken was tender it didn't have much in the way of flavor. Overall, I really enjoyed the brisket here and would come back for this. While the other meats weren't bad, I'd probably pass on them and try something else like the birria tacos.
google avatar

Krista S.

Yelp
Food: We ordered the family meat platter. That could easily feed 3-4 people. The brisket, chicken, waffle fries, cornbread and mashed potatoes were so yummy. Not fond of the sausage tho or the Mac and cheese. I tried the Hawaiian Punch Spritz.. honestly it wasn't that good. I'd probably just grab a beer next time. Service/Ambiance: Super casual, outdoor seating. The place is huge and can probably host big parties. Lots of ppl were there to watch football. Service was ok.. they don't really check up on you too often but it was alright. Parking: they have they're own private lot, but can only fit maybe 30 or so cars.

Yelp
This was so close to being a 5 star experience. I am sure our next visit will be?!?! We came here for our guests, so we were more focused on that than the food, atmosphere, etc. Quality/Quantity - Valencia Salad - Good, but nothing special. Fresh, decent size. Ultimate Party Platter - 1/2 chicken, 2 sausages, tri tip (and supposedly brisket which we were missing, but did NOT notice until I started writing this review...) In order of enjoyment for me = Sausages, chicken, then lastly the tri tip. The tri tip had a weird (rubby) texture and was over-sauced. 6 Wing Combo - House made BBQ rub; although the rub was just okay, this was still my favorite dish. Wings were double fried. This also came with waffle fries which was my second favorite of the meal. Needless to say, I still love deep fried foods too much. Got one of each side: Waffle Fries - Yes we got two, lol. Mac and Cheese - My second favorite of the sides Mash Potatoes - Just okay. Beans - No one ate this... We did not even take it to-go. In summary, come for the BBQ meats. Atmosphere - Love the space. Indoor/outdoor space. 2 floors. Bar seating, lounge, private, semi private, etc. So many different areas; wish I took more pictures... TVs everywhere. Can I suggest outdoor heat lamps? Open 7 days a week from 11am to 10pm or midnight. Another restaurant that we wanted to spend time talking with our guest, but the music and all the shouting over the music was just too loud. Service - 5 stars (well other than NO one noticing the missing brisket). Price - $168, expensive but we had a good time. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2023. I look forward to coming back with just the family and really focusing and enjoying this place.

Yelp
Been wanting to check out this location and was able to go on a mini double date here. We parked on the street but saw there was a lot available. If youre coming from Anaheim Blvd, there will be a house in the front but Villains Brewery is just next door. Stop by the host stand to be seated. There wasn't really much decor that gave off a vibe that it was a villains theme. There were a darth vader mural, skeleton with a jason mask and a uncle Fester statue. Not sure if they have a rotating decor but there was nothing much that night. There were NO HEATING LAMPS anywhere so dress warm since everything is outdoors. Menu also wasn't really tailored with a villains name either. I got the horchata beer which has strong notes of a cinnamon rice but overall the beer was very light. My sister got the sunset cooler? which was suppose to be an "orange bang" inspired seltzer but tastes just like maybe an orange fanta seltzer. Orange bang kind of have a creamy taste but this seltzer did not live up to its name.
google avatar

Christyl J.

Yelp
The place itself is large and semi outdoors. It looks like whoever bought the place took over a more generic brewery then three in some random spooky and villain related stuff. All the guys working there are friendly though difficult to flag down. The food itself is pretty good though, if a bit pricey. I got the chicken tenders with cilantro lime which was tasty. The salad was bland though. The ice cream sandwich was a half miss, reason because the unicorn ice cream was very tasty but the cookies were rock hard, they need to use a softer set cookie so when it's cold it won't be near inedible
google avatar

Ariel R.

Yelp
I generally love this place and have been here multiple times. I enjoy it so much that I even decided to host my birthday event here. While it all worked out in the end, there was a 20 minute delay, party was spread out, and staff was wildly unprepared for the rain. I can't imagine that this is the first time that they've had a busy weekend night with some expected weather forecasts that should've been figured out prior. Our server Gabby worked really hard and did a great job helping out our party of 30 on top of her other obligations, so very grateful for that. Overall, great food and drinks that worked out in the end, but I'm disappointed with the chaos that came with the event and I didn't fully get to enjoy my experience fully because of it

Yelp
I decided to visit after a targeted video ad by villains brewing. It looked so cool, great vibes, cool drinks, and an overall fun environment. However, even though it's a brewery, there were tons of children. Specifically, strollers, toddlers, and just loud children. I have nothing against kids but it was unexpected at a place like this when there's people drinking around them. Definitely threw the vibe off- although I aknowledge it's a personal preference. So on that note- this is super family friendly! lol your kids can order fries while you chug down a beer or two at the bar. I ordered their house seltzer which tasted more like an AMF and I only drank about 30%. We ordered wings which were too salty. The fries were a redeeming factor. Overall I wouldn't return. It was a bit of a let down.

Yelp
chill outside brewery with lots of space and tvs! My fiance and I came here around 12:30 PM, lots of seating inside so got seated quickly. Parking is either in the small lot or the neighborhood. The decor is villain theme so there were lots of villain related decorations. Food here is mexican/barbeque and they even had a all you can eat buffet for pozole and birria ramen. For beers i got the IPA and my fiance got the horchata beer. For food we got birria tacos ($16) and smoked chicken ($18) with mashed potatoes ($5). Service here is fast and food came quickly. Beers are not the best we have had but cold and refreshing. Smoked Chicken-crispy skin and juicy, not overly salty, came with side of cornbread and pickles, mashed potatoes were delicious. (8/10) Birria tacos-litle salty but generous on beef (7/10). Overall outdoorsy vibe that is kid friendly and good on a beautiful day outside. Would love to try the other beers my next visit!
google avatar

Jenny C.

Yelp
We came at opening on a Saturday and were seated immediately. The food came out kind of cold and the waiters didn't check up on us until the very end, but I still enjoyed the smash burger. The beef brisket was a bit salty but maybe it needed to be balanced out with something else. The ambiance was nice since we were seated outside so we got to enjoy the weather. I'd come here again for the vibes and give the other entrees a try!
google avatar

Victoria M.

Yelp
The concept is good but unfortunately it seems confused The decor is good, lots of open space to sit small bar area. Service was horrible took someone over 15 min to come sius then totally forgot to come back to take our order, I had to flag someone down Took our drink order finally then we waited again get them By then we decided not to order food we didn't wanna get stuck waiting for that also service was absolutely lacking It was busy but not overwhelming to not have someone paying attention to customers. Drinks were good My ice cream came out melted and tasted like it had freezer burn. Finally waved someone down for our check I was pretty excited to go check this place out but sadly was very disappointed

Yelp
This place is a great date spot or a spot with friends, kids, and even dogs (dog friendly)! The staff here was friendly and very helpful. Cannot forget about the beer as well! Everything we ordered was good here. We got the brisket fries, western smash burger, and birria tacos. There is free parking near the back of the place. If you cannot find parking in that spot, there is street parking. This place is practically out door seating. I would come here again!
google avatar

Tatiana M.

Yelp
Recommend for BBQ. We made a reservation but when we got there, we were told we weren't in the system. We were seated in a "container" - very interesting, no floors and good amount of mosquitoes. Our server was very busy and tried to take care of us as much as he could. We ordered the BBQ tray for 4 people and it was enough. We liked the chicken and sausages, the brisket and tri tip... not really that good, kinda chewy & cold. It came with a few sides: fries, mac abs cheese, beans, corn bread. They were all good. The music was a little too loud but I guess since we were outdoor, the speakers had to be like that.
google avatar

Shirley M.

Yelp
I came on a Sunday for their brunch buffet. It felt more sanitary because they served me while I held my plate next to the pan. The French toast was soft and came with syrup that I didn't see until later. The smoked brisket was cooked well and easy to chew. The enchilada was soft and had lots of meat. The pho bowl came with noodles, soup, and one piece of meat. I added onion, cilantro, lime juice, and more brisket meat to the soup. Ended my meal with pineapple, honeydew melon, cantaloupe, and watermelon. The buffet appeared small but it was very filling. The servers were attentive, bringing water and orange juice to me. There were many tables available for seating. The restroom was clean. There is a small parking lot at the entrance.
google avatar

Robert C.

Yelp
We came on a Sunday and did the brunch buffet. The menu says pho, pozole, and birria ramen, but they also had brisket, sausages, bacon, breakfast sandwiches, brisket enchiladas, French toast, potatoes, and fruit as well. If you opt for the brunch, they give you a wrist band and the buffet section is near the entrance. Birria ramen came with a ton of meat. The pozole was good and came with a lot of meat as well. I got too full to try the pho. Out of the rest of the food, my favorites were the brisket and brisket enchiladas. None of the food was super amazing, but I had a good time overall. They have a small parking lot and I didn't need to park on the street.
google avatar

Steffie P.

Yelp
I've stopped here a few times while traveling. I love all the murals. The wait can be a bit long at times. Parking is a struggle. There is little to no parking unless you find some on the Main Street. The surrounding neighborhood has signs that prohibit parking in certain areas. The food here is good and reasonably priced. There are lots of beer options so there's something for everyone.
google avatar

Janae P.

Yelp
Andres is a wonderful waiter! He made sure we had a happy table. The food is tasty. Nothing went back to the kitchen. The ambience here is amazing!! That's one of the reasons that I keep coming back. There is no other experience in Anaheim like this! They have TVs for the sports heads, outdoor seating for some sun, music for the fans, deliciously brewed beverages, and food
google avatar

Yelp
If you're coming here for the brewery and the vibes, you won't be disappointed. I was celebrating a friend's birthday and we came here for the beers and the food! I would rethink having your entire meal here because some of these dishes, we could've done without. I got the 12 Wing Combo w/ Ranch (Buttery Buffalo), shared a Classic Single Patty Combo, and some Garlic Mashed Potatoes. I washed it down with some Halloween Parade Beer (spoiler alert: it was delicious!). The burger was advertised as a smash burger, but honestly it looked and tasted like a regular McDonald's burger to me. On the other hand, fries were crispy and salted/seasoned perfectly! I was munching on that all night. The mashed potatoes were disappointing because it came out cold and without the garlic crisps on top, it just tasted like regular mash from home. The best part about the meal was definitely the wings for me. So many flavors to choose from so I was slightly disappointed that by ordering the 12, we could only choose one flavor. Next time, I think we would have to do multiple orders of 6 to try different flavors. The atmosphere is so fun if you're with a big (or even small) group and our server was quick and attentive! Great selections and descriptions of beers to choose from. There's also a deal with a plastic souvenir boot going around for $20 and $10 refills. I wouldn't rule out coming just because of the food so maybe we might end up here again!

Yelp
What a fun place this is to grab a beer, seltzer and some food! We had heard about this place and decided to go for lunch. We were very lucky and were able to get a table right away. Our server was busy, but very friendly and helpful. He was able to read off some of the seltzer flavors for us so we didn't have to scan our QR code. There is a paper menu for the beers on tap and the food. This place is huge! There is a really big patio with some seating areas made of cargo shipping containers along the side. Lots of trees, lots of white lights, and lots of umbrellas make it a perfect place to sit outside. There's a long bar with all of the taps behind it inside, along with quite a few additional tables. There is a private party area as well. There is also an outdoor second story, and a pool area surrounded by tables. One of the best things is the great murals of villains that are all around this place. From the Joker to Chucky to Darth Vader and even sideshow Bob, there are cool paintings all around! There is not a full bar. They have a whole lot of beers, a whole lot of seltzers, and wine. The food menu consists of wings, burgers, a few salads, and barbecue. We both ordered wings - - one garlic parmesan and one buffalo - - and both were good. They were served with fries which were fine. Our seltzers were really really good. This place is in downtown Anaheim and the parking can be a nightmare. We managed to get parking in the very tiny lot on location, but be aware that it is very tiny. Parking is not allowed in the neighborhood on the streets so their website shows different parking areas in the area that have a shuttle. We were not able to find those parking areas easily, so just be prepared if you come here. Also, from what I understand, this place can have a line that wraps around the building, so be prepared for that as well. We lucked out and walked right in about 2:15, but as we were leaving there was a line waiting to get in.

Yelp
Food was good the atmosphere was not as what I thought. Interesting murals but not really living up to the name. I expected more "villain" themed items and decor. Kinda underwhelming tbh.

Yelp
Came here for a casual lunch recently, I think it's a great space! Got seated at a table in the middle outdoor area, there were unfortunately a lot of flies around though. The smoked brisket tacos were amazing, flavorful, and tender, but the smoked chicken taquitos were bland and lackluster. I think the service could have been speedier but I was waiting for the other person in my party for a little while so maybe that might have set a slow tone. This looks like it would be a perfect spot for live music, but I asked and was told that they're no longer allowed to have live music.

Yelp
Went here around 8ish, wasn't sure what to expect but it was amazing! The area is huge, and they allowed us to pick where we sat which was very nice. Our server came around shortly and gave us plenty of time to decide on what we wanted. We started off with some apps, the waffle bbq fries which were delicious! As someone who doesn't love bbq they were tasty and I would definitely get again. We also had the mac n cheese, portion was small and a little cold but it was still delicious. For entrees I got the smash burger which was also super yummy and we got the chicken tenders which were some of the most delicious and fresh tenders we've ever had. Our server brought over some beers for us to sample which was very nice. Overall, it was a great night, had some amazing food and amazing drinks. This definitely made the list of places to visit again when back in Anaheim. 10/10

Yelp
My husband just spent over $300 here... he ordered me a salad to go and they didn't include any dressing or utensils but gave me +15 packets of ketchup.

Yelp
Seemed like only place open before 4 (for brewery hopping). This place is expansive and kitschy with all the classic horror villains. Really cool vibe and lots of different places to hang out--the bar area, the pool area, or the upper level. IPAs were great. I did a flight and tried four and a half tasters! Before we left, we noticed a really colorful drink--looked like a sunset. We asked and were told it was called The Big Stick. It was their fruit punch seltzer topped with an orange seltzer. The bartender made us both a taster. OMG. I'm glad we didn't start with these because they were way too drinkable. Food menu looked good too. Dog and kid friendly as well. Really appreciated the good service and the taster!

Yelp
After having booked marked Villain's Brewery for the past year or so, we finally made our way out for my hubby's birthday weekend and it was everything ive ever dreamt about in my foodie dreams-- let me tell ya about it . First off, they do have a small parking lot . Because of the way that this brewery is set up, there's only one way to get in and you kind of have to make a loop around the neighborhood to get into the parking lot . After missing it the first time, we realize a lot of the street parking on the other side were also customers of the brewery ! Once that was settled, it was smooth sailing ! We were greeted right away by the hostess who sat us at a table in the middle . It was actually one of the hottest days in Anaheim so I was a little worried that it would be too uncomfortable to eat, but the buildings are so tall that they offer like 85% shade-- AND they had water misting fans ! Our server that day was Jordy and he was sooo kind and informative . Here's what we ate: SMASH SLIDERS-- 4 juicy sliders served on sweet and fluffy Hawaiian rolls . Sauce with grilled onions and pickles gave me in n out vibes, and I was HEREEE for it ! So good and a great appetizer . TRI TIP PLATE-- Soo delicious ! Loved how tender and cooked beautifully this is . The only complaint is I wish it came with more meat-- but hey, beggars can't be choosers lol . MAMAS FRIED CHICKEN SANDO-- if you could only order one thing off their menu, it would be THIS chicken sandwich . CRISPY, JUICY, FLAVORFUL . I was low key surprised I enjoyed it so muchhh ! MUST TRY ! LOADED MAC AND CHEESE-- a creamy dream . Cheesey, luxurious, scrumptious . Definitely not boxed Mac and cheese here lol . CHICKEN TENDERS PLATE-- the chicken tenders are MASSIVE . Crisp, juicy, and flavorful-- just like the chicken sando . Basic, yet sooo bougie . All the beers we had were also refreshing and delicious . My faveee has to be "Your new favorite" beer lol . Its like a POG juice undertone, SO good for IPA citrus lovers . Overall, I really enjoyed the vibes at this brewery ! The decorations are also such a nice touch, I love all the details they put into the artwork . Its such a calm and chill place to hang out and enjoy a drink . Bonus points because the food is actually sooo tasty ! I would love to be back in the future and recommend to family/friends .

Yelp
I recently celebrated my best friend's 33rd birthday at Villains Brewing, and I can't say enough good things about our experience! From the moment we arrived, Tommy and his staff were incredibly friendly and outgoing, making us feel right at home. We had a reserved spot for our party of 21, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Splitting the tabs was a breeze, which can often be a headache with a large group, but they made it so easy and stress-free. Their attentiveness and willingness to help truly enhanced our celebration. The atmosphere was vibrant, the drinks were fantastic--my favorite was definitely the Saka La Bolsita!--and the food was delicious as well. I highly recommend Villains Brewing for any special occasion. Thank you, Tommy and your amazing team, for making this birthday unforgettable! We'll definitely be back!

Yelp
This place was such a great experience overall. Really fun and unique vibe and the staff were so welcoming, attentive, and friendly with us. Beer wise I can't recall what we had sadly but both drinks we tried were really good. Food wise- I really recommend trying the twice baked potato skins, crispy skin was everything and perfectly housed the toppings including the tender and flavorful brisket. Wings were crispy and well sauced. Smash burger was a basic burger but done well and the waffle fries were so damn good because they were cooked to crispy perfection. I left rolling out of there because everything was so good I stuffed myself. When I'm back in the area I sure as heck would go back and support and try more of their beers!

Yelp
Villains Brewing Company, located a few blocks from the Anaheim Packing District, is one of the coolest breweries in Anaheim. The theme is all about cinema villains, and it's carried out well with murals and artwork throughout the space. The brewery is open-concept with lots of seating, making it perfect for groups. There's a bar on the ground floor, some covered and some uncovered areas, and even a second-floor section. They've got fans and misters to help cool things down when it gets hot, which was a nice touch. There's even a pool. Parking, however, is a bit tricky. They have a small parking lot, and street parking in the neighborhood is hard to come by. A house rule sign by the entrance suggests that customers use Uber or something called "Fran" instead of parking in the neighborhood. The service was a highlight, with the server checking in regularly to see if we needed anything. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite match the rest of the experience. The chicken wings and fries were flavorless on their own and needed the sauces to make them enjoyable. Overall, Villains Brewing is a fun spot for its atmosphere and theme, but I'd recommend sticking to drinks and not expecting too much from the food.

Yelp
We had an amazing experience at Villain's Brewery! The food was top-notch, starting with the loaded nachos and brisket tacos--both were absolutely delicious. The mac and cheese side was creamy and comforting, and our kids loved the waffle fries. It's a great spot for families, especially since the food is kid-friendly. The service is great. The drink selection is fantastic, with a wide variety of choices for everyone. The seating is outside, and while it's a bit smoky, giving off that campfire smell, it really adds to the cozy, laid-back ambiance. Five stars all around for food, drinks, and atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

Yelp
The food was very dry except for the Burger. We were looking for items in the Yelp photos but ones we were interested were not available such as the sausage. Service was decent but they charged our credit card twice and no one answer their phone to find out why! -- UPDATE: I just noticed that the owner reached out on Yelp to assist with the double charging credit card issue. I didn't follow up since it was quite a while ago, but I definitely think I need to adjust my rating to 4 since the food and service were good.

Yelp
The ambiance and vibe are very nice and relaxing. The way the location is designed it's a little difficult to find the entrance but perhaps that's the point. It almost feels like someone's backyard. The pool and the outdoor seating complement the vibe. Most breweries lack on their food selection and the quality of food. Not Villains. This place not only has a wide array of beers the food selection is pretty amazing. Also, the presentation is nice for a brewery. The service was on point as well. All things considered these Villains were actual like super hero's and they deliver a knockout experience. Also, say had to their bar back!

Yelp
Great food and beer! Only drawback is that they don't have any patio heaters for the mostly-outdoor location.

Yelp
Villains Brewery in Anaheim is an absolute gem! From the moment you step in, the vibe is electric, with a cool, edgy atmosphere that feels like a hidden lair for craft beer lovers. The brews are top-notch--each one has a unique twist that makes it stand out. And let's talk about the food! The brisket and tri-tip are exceptionally tender, way beyond my expectations. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to recommend the perfect pint. (I recommend the Bluey Blues if you're also looking for a nice refreshing seltzer) Whether you're a local or just passing through, this spot is a must-visit. Cheers to great beer, mouthwatering bites, and even better company!
