The Most Effective On-the-Go Stain Removers

"I splurged on hotel laundry service, pointing out the spot to the lovely staff at Villas Foch. I returned that night to a neatly pressed, but still stained, top—and a 13є bill."

Villas Foch (Bordeaux, Nouvelle Aquitaine) 10 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Bordeaux’s hotel scene compares to the Parisian one in much the same way the two cities match up. The former is dwarfed by the latter in terms of sheer size and variety, but what it does well it does very well indeed — the very best of Bordeaux is on the same level as the cream of the Parisian crop, and occasionally higher. All of which is to say: Villas Foch, a 19th-century city-center building that’s now a small and luxurious boutique hotel, is up there in the same class as the best small luxury hotels in any city in the world." - Tablet Hotels

We had a lovely welcome from Spencer who is a real asset to the hotel. He was very helpful throughout our visit and ensure that we had a very pleasant stay. This small boutique hotel is centrally located - the Chartrons area is close by as well as the old town. We paid a bit extra for the Prestige room on the ground floor which had a great shower and was nice and quiet. The hotel is expensive and rates vary quite a lot - our rate had gone down by the time we stayed so worth checking. There was a bit of confusion about the rate. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent - a very lovely buffet with everything you could want. We would stay here again. Limited communal areas and no outside areas but most of the time people are out visiting Bordeaux which is lovely.

When we discovered this hotel online and then read the reviews we simply had to stay here - and boy we were not disappointed. The service level is exceptional - on par with the most luxurious places that we have stayed over the years. We loved the room and highly recommend that you spurge for their signature suite -- La Suite Foch - it was absolutely worth it. We loved how they incorporated the original environs with modern amenities so that the room as comfortable on the one hand and lovely on the other hand. Certainly very spacious .... The bathroom was also very comfortable -- I loved the shower! and the bath! The room was perfectly cleaned and prepared each time. What we liked the best was that if we told them we wanted more coffee in the room just once they remembered each time. That is the kind of service we enjoy. The location is also ideal - very centrally located so that we could walk everywhere easily - which is a very nice way to explore the city.

We spent two nights at this fabulous hotel. We’d asked for a high floor room with a bath and all was accommodated. Room 302 delivered!|Julia greeted us upon our arrival, quickly checked us in and took us to our top floor Prestige room (with a lovely bath, separate rain shower). Julia is a super friendly, positive young lady. She leaves a great first impression.||Our room was very well appointed with an assortment of tea/coffee and a mini bar which is inclusive. Very nice linens and towels and we loved the shampoo/conditioner/body wash/ body cream. At turn down, pink bath salts were left for me.||Large screen TV and a speaker if you’d like to listen to music (we did not utilize either). Black out blinds ensure the room is very dark||Nathan is also great, accommodating , warm and genuinely interested in ensuring the guests have a wonderful experience.||This is an incredibly quiet, serene villa on a lovely tree lined street. Very close to all the monuments and the old town centre.||The only negative, we didn’t stay longer. We will definitely be back!

A lovely hotel with a warm, welcoming staff. I won't repeat what others have said about what makes this hotel so nice, and I would return without hesitation, but I will share a few comments to keep your expectations in check. This is a small boutique hotel - more like a great 4 star, rather than a great 5 star. The little touches are nice - like a complimentary minibar with drinks with a couple of snacks, a nespresso machine with pods, and a pillow menu. The housekeeping staff were excellent and left sweet notes on our bathroom mirror :) One thing that I did not like was the added 5% on the bill at the end of the stay as gratuity for all of the staff. That 5% was over $100 for a 2 night stay. (yes, they did make me aware of this at the time of booking, but with all of the trip planning, I had forgotten). What happened is that I had forgotten and left generous tips for housekeeping during the stay. So as not to create awkwardness at the end, I paid the extra 5% but it was not a great way to end the stay. I think a hotel of this caliber should re-consider that policy and ensure that the hotel rates include all necessary expenses so there are no additions at the end.

A fantastic hotel. Arrival experience was exceptional and our room was very nice (large for a European hotel.) They arranged our transport from the airport flawlessly. The only thing we skipped was the breakfast because it appeared to have been sitting out for some time. We'd definitely stay here again.

First rate experience. Stayed 4 nights and it was great coming back to Villas Foch each day to the friendly professional staff. Excellent personalized service and good housekeeping at this small boutique hotel. Highly recommend also for its central location. Well functioning AC was a godsend in 90-100 degree heat during our stay.

Fabulous hotel in a great location. Lovely breakfast and very cool bar. The staff were kind and attentive. The room was spotless, and the walk in shower was amazing especially after being in older hotels with tubs. Everything was new and immaculate.
