"This pretty property set amid the orchards seems almost Mediterranean, from the stylish, airy, high-ceilinged dining room, which is reminiscent of an orangery, to the charming inner courtyard with fountain. This is a real family affair comprising hostess Sonja Fischer, her daughter Alisa and her brother Rainer Hörmann, a trained sommelier. The front-of-house team provides professional and cordial service, including very good wine recommendations – and the lady of the house is always present too. Toni Neumann's cuisine is clearly influenced by Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, and also draws on inspiration from Asia. There are three set menus to choose from: one classical, one more creative and one vegetarian. Overnight stays are available at the hotel of the same name." - Michelin Inspector

Our stay at Hotel Villino was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome. The hotel's ambience combines charm and elegance, with peaceful spaces and refined decor. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a magnificent view over the gardens. The impeccable, attentive service exceeded all our expectations, making every moment even more enjoyable. The spa is a true haven of well-being, with impeccable facilities. After our days of exploration, it was the perfect place to recharge our batteries. On the restaurant front, we enjoyed delicious, carefully prepared cuisine featuring fresh, local produce. The copious and varied breakfast deserves a special mention. In short, Hôtel Villino is the perfect place to relax and be pampered. We left rested and delighted, with the desire to return very soon!

Really enjoyed our two day stay at Hotel Villino. The property is charming and the owners are beyond kind and helpful in helping to plan how to spend your time in the area. The food in the restaurant for breakfast was outstanding and for dinner, although not inexpensive, sublime. Worth every penny. As with every hotel in Europe, down comforters are provided as bed covers. Even with the windows open to let in the cool night air, we find them hot and uncomfortable and prefer layers of sheets and blankets. In hindsight, they probably would have provided this had we asked.

A truly exceptional hotel, worth staying here rather than in Lindau. There were excellent small touches: the delicious shortbread cookies and homemade jams, the candle in the room, and the lovely fountain in the courtyard. The gardens and surrounding neighborhood is very serene. And most importantly for me: unlike at many hotels, there is nothing weird, missing, or extra—a testament to good taste. Although I did not stay for a meal (the restaurant is closed Sunday and Monday), breakfast was beautiful and delicious.

Stayed here 5 nights. Immaculate rooms, beautiful place to stay. Beautiful gardens surround it, and the staff are really lovely and so very helpful. The restaurant gives you a special experience, and I loved the breakfast! I have stayed in many high class hotels, but this one has something very special and unique, and comes second to none. Highly recommend it. If we ever visit that area again I would book to stay without doubt.

This hotel is on the outskirts of Lindau and you will need to drive to eat anywhere else. It has the reputation of being a great spa and wellness although I didn't use it. The staff, room, grounds and breakfast are superb. For dinner at the Michelin restaurant I had short ribs and my wife had trout. The sauce was so overpowering on both meals we couldn't taste the main ingredient. We could not finish either meal and complained to the manager. The response was "everyone has different tastes." In addition the waiter was unfriendly. Would avoid eating here.
