Holy smokes did we have a lovely time at Vin this evening. I couldn’t wait to give them a 5-star review. Jen (owner and server) was amazing. She was very knowledgeable about the wine and gave us tastes before we had to commit. We loved her personality and warmth and immediately felt like a regular. Every wine I tried was so good but I think my favorite was an Italian Nebbiolo. The charcuterie was out of this world. The decor was very tasteful and inviting. Now I want to be a regular at this wonderful wine bar with tasty treats.

What a wonderful wine bar! Both times that we’ve gone we were helped (graciously) by the owner (Jen) who was attentive, knowledgeable, and very friendly. My first time in I didn’t know what to get, but Jen selected a fabulous Pinot Noir that has now become one of my favorites. Our second time in we got a bottle (20% off for happy hour!) and the cheese board which had some of the best cheeses I’ve ever had. This is now going to be our new haunt for great wine and even better vibes.

This place is so tastefully decorated! Love all the plants. Really fantastic wine selection and atmosphere. The Nebbiolo and the Garnacha were both delish. Jen is knowledgeable and very sweet. We were enjoying ourselves so much that we ended up being there for much longer than intended, and she was so graciously patient. Thanks, Jen!

Vin Rouge is my favorite wine bar in the city, and I've tried them all at this point. Very central coast CA feel and vibe. Jenn is top-notch with her selections, especially Syrah, and quite frankly, she is just a really cool person to sit and talk wine with. She doesn't kill you on her price point selection and shows you how to find quality wine reasonably priced. I joined the annual membership but, unfortunately, got a bit busy at the end of 2024. I will be heading back this weekend and much, much more this year, so I will be joining the members club again.

This wine bar is AMAZING!!! The staff was so knowledgeable about their wine selection. It’s a nice and chill environment. We had the pleasure to meet the owner and she was EVERYTHING! She recommended a wine for me…which I LOVED!!! They made my birthday trip one to remember. Definitely try this place. She has something special planned for New Years if you are in town check it out.

How did I not know about this hidden gem??!! This is such a nice alternative to the breweries and local bars and even other bigger wine bars. It's so cozy with all the lovely plants and comfortable seating. The service was friendly and offered great suggestions while making you feel at home. Just be sure to make a reservation ahead of time as this place isn't huge so seating is limited and that was part of what made it great! I can't wait to go back!

Vin Rouge Wine bar is fantastic. Jen and staff are incredibly knowledgeable and always help us choose the best wine for our tastes that night. We love coming here and cannot recommend it enough!

Went here once before not long after it had opened and had a great experience (service, wine, atmosphere). We walked in at 4:30 on a Friday recently and only 4 people were in the entire place. The bartender was on the phone so we took a seat and waited, and we were then promptly told that every seat was booked until 7:30 and they couldn’t serve us until then. We thought the point of a wine bar was just that….a place to grab a glass of wine. Apparently here you have to book a seat well in advance or else they’ll tell you to leave. Won’t be coming back.

Cute cozy wine bar in Berkeley. First impressions were very welcoming, you feel like you're entering someone's home. We came for drinks after having a delicious sushi meal next door at Kin Nori. Perfect date night! We got a chance to meet Jen, the owner and server and wine expert and dishwasher also known as rockstar and really enjoyed getting to know her. She asked for our wine preferences and introduced me to this delicious Barolo when I told her I love cherries. Beautiful color. Great recommendation! I took a photo to remember it for next time. I would definitely return and encourage you to visit and support Jen and her small local business.

What a great wine bar. The owner, Jenn, was friendly and knowledgeable about the wine selections. Lots to choose from and reasonably priced. Their nibbles menu has an amazing charcuterie with local preserves, salumi, and crackers as well as an incredible 18 month aged Gouda from Holland with many other items all tastefully displayed. Reservations aren't required but are recommended. Glad we made a reservation because this place was full.

My favorite spot. I love finding new wines and this is the perfect place to do that with their monthly AND weekly flights! Jen is so knowledgeable and has great tasting events. It's a perfect spot for a date night, girls night out, or just a solo spot to enjoy a great wine and ambiance. I love this place.

Downright delightful. The wines are delicious, and the selection will keep you engaged and interested. The charcuterie was balanced and complex, with a fabulously nutty Gouda, creamy brie, dried strawberries, mouthwatering peach jam, and more. Excellent spot for a date night, or an outing with friends.

First time visiting this fabulous wine bar...I loved bed it. Owner, Jenn was so warm and fun. The wine she recommended was delicious and exactly what I asked for. We ordered the Charcuterie board and it was delicious. You crackers she chose for the board were so beautiful (I know that sounds weird, but you have to check them out!!!). The ambience was lovely, gorgeous plants and cool art, very chic! Highly recommend-

Super cute wine bar! I visited with some friends on a Friday evening and it was quite busy. They were almost fully reserved but we grabbed spots on the couches near the entrance. The server was super helpful in picking wines despite being so busy. I loved the interior with tons of plants. The wines were well selected and tasty! I would certainly come back here.

I've tried this place two times now and really wanted to love it but every time I've felt so unwelcome if I didn't have a reservation. Generally solid wine list, but I've felt pretty much as if we didn't belong or weren't part of the "wine club" or knew the owner, who was present both times my wife and I came in. Service the 1st time wasn't solid but on a 2nd visit and feeling like we were relocated to the corner wasn't awesome. All that being said, if you're in the wine club this place seems really cool.

My friend and I recently stopped by Vin Rouge to checkout the beautiful tasting room and to catch up. We both went with their weekly flight tasting. All 3 of our wines were delicious and we loved the added personal touch of giving us a little info about each of our wines (not everywhere will do that)! What threw me off a little was a few of the comments made to or around us. First, we were taking our time enjoying our wines and catching up. We really hadn't gotten to see each other one on one in quite some time and our server kept making comments about how slow we were drinking, that she was drinking at the same pace and she wasn't drinking because she was behind the bar. Second, they had filled up soon after opening and a woman came up to the bar to try and get a seat. She said she didn't know if you needed reservations but thought they'd just stop by and see. The same person made the duh look and said "well look around, yeah you're going to need a reservation." It's just how these comments were made that just didn't feel so welcoming. The tasting room and wine selection were wonderful, customer service was a bit lacking.

This is an incredible place. I come here every week and always have a killer time. It's hard to find quality places in Denver, but Vin Rouge is consistently top notch. Great wine, great snacks and incredible service. It gets busy on weekends so make sure make a reservation if you want to come in.

I stumbled upon this adorable and classy bar and owner. It has amazing wine and nibbles! The owner takes her time with each customer to make sure they are drinking something with an amazing experience.

Charcuterie was fantastic with all local items. Service was amazing, the owner is an absolute delight. I feel extremely welcome and ended up spending 3 hours here when I initially expected to barely spend 1. Can't wait to go back!

I came in with a group and ordered some wine and charcuterie, which were both good. Our server took the time to explain the wine to us as well.

One of the absolute highlights and gems I've found in the last 18 months or so in the Denver area. I loved the space, we were seated in the front on the couches looking out the window. I like that it isn't very big, the exposed brick always gets me. I liked the decor as well. Onto the important stuff, the owner is nice, knows he stuff, and repeatedly reminded us each person has a different palette so not everything is for everyone. The recommendations she provided were excellent and spot on. We all had a chance to try wines we hadn't in the past or different profiles of wines that what we expected. The charcuterie was excellent and her explanation on where it was all sourced was super interesting. She really made our experience so memorable and fun. It absolutely is a place I can see us return to repeatedly.

Wow. What can I say? 1st let me start with the fact that there has not been a single wine that I haven't liked. She specializes in old world wine and she knows her stuff! She will ask you the right questions to make sure that you get what you love. My partner and I actually had our first date here. We hit it off with each other and the owner! She talked with us and we had wine well beyond closing. It was such a great and memorable experience. We've been together now over a year and she remembers us every time we go back. Not only will you have the best wine you can find in the city, you'll meet a wonderful lady who will take care of you too! I can't wait to go back! I didn't remember that I already reviewed! It's worth a second review!

This spot is definitely a gem for Denver. After searching high and low for a wine bar in Denver with amazing wine and staff that actually knew wine, we found our place! Jenn, the owner is fantastic and knowledgeable, as well as Mellanie, the somm. We joined the wine club the same night. You will not be disappointed - hands down best wine bar in Denver!

This place is special. The wine list is well-curated and the female owner is very knowledgeable and passionate about wine. Further, the beers are diverse and flavorful, which was a surprise since I assumed a wine bar wouldn't have much in the way of beer. This was he husband's specialty. Finally, they had a few mocktails and some snacks or "nibbles" and even specified what was safe for pregnancy. The charcuterie board included the most incredible soft French brie and Colorado peach whiskey marmalade. There was something for everyone! The decor is incredible - a beautiful mix of natural plant/wood elements and metallic fixtures. There was a lounge seating area, a couple tables, and bar seating. Definitely a great date night spot. I'd recommend a reservation if going during peak hours to ensure there's space.

Very stylish wine bar with large menu, small eats and flights. Owned by a husband and wife duo, there is also beer for the non-wine drinkers. They are adhering to the safety precautions strictly with paper menus, spaced seating and of course, masks. It's a small space so it's great that you can reserve on Open Table beforehand. Very ambient inside and Jenn the owner is always ensuring you like a wine and get a taste which is great, especially if you don't want to buy a bottle or glass of something you've never had

Not only is the wine and small bites delicious, but the staff is both knowledgeable and friendly. Incredible recommendations. Cannot wait to come back!

If you are looking for a nurturing place to practice a little self care by having a glass of wine along with a nibble and chat with owner Jenn, look no further than Vin Lounge. The ambiance is warm and ever so welcoming. I arrived alone and was made to feel quite comfortable. The olive/cracker/cheese snack is quite filling at only $6. The truffle Parmesan popcorn is equally delicious and made fresh with each order. Jenn was patient and very attentive to my particular wine request which resulted in the perfect match.

One of our favorite spots! The ambiance is quaint and welcoming. I recommend coming in with an open mind and letting the owner, Jenn, take the wheel! Her knowledge is out of this world and she goes above and beyond to find something for to enjoy. Great for a pre/post dinner drink with a few light bites. Would recommend making a reservation in advanced!

This place is such a vibe. We really enjoyed the wine flights, I had some white and rose ones, and my boyfriend had red. Great cheese platter too! Perfect place for a date night

This is such an intimate, beautiful space! The owners were so welcoming and dropped lots of wine-knowledge on this newbie. The food is great and service even better! I'm glad I decided to stop by. Do your self a favor and become a regular haha you won't regret it!!

Our server was SO knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly! I gave her a bit of a description of what i already know i like (i'm very new to all the different kinds of wine) and she had perfect recommendations that were exactly what i was wanting! I got the charcuterie board which was also amazing. Out of the few wine bars i've been to this was my favorite and i will definitely be back(: I wish i remembered our servers name, but i'm sure the staff here is amazing!

The best wine bar in Denver! Jenn has curated a perfect wine oasis a few blocks off Tennyson. Not only is the wine delicious, her husband Jarrett has a phenomenal craft beer selection! Highly recommend!

Very classy place! We enjoyed the weekly wine flight and a cheese pairing. Followed that with another glass of wine and a charcuterie board that was delicious! Very comfortable and unique atmosphere. And the staff was amazing--very friendly and knowledgeable. We will go there again!

This place is one of the main reasons the wine scene in Denver is poppin'. Jen has the most majestic taste in grape juice and a killer personality to boot. I'm dying to be best friends with everyone who works here. Every time is just as special as the last and you'll be looking at your calendar to get your next reservation before you leave.

They were nice enough to host us from a meetup group and the service was terrific. Jenn, the owner, was knowledgeable about the wines and great at help guiding us through the extensive wine list. It is also a lovely setting. I used to live closer to that area but it was such a nice experience , I will definitely head there again !

Awesome service, ambiance and wine selection. My husband and I stumbled on this gem over the weekend and absolutely loved it. The owner comes from Santa Barbara with a great knowledge of a lot of different wines. We tried both wine tastings and were absolutely thrilled with her recommendations. The charcuterie board was also tasty and satisfying. Highly recommend!

I'm a wine lover and I've been to a lot of wine bars in my time, here in Denver, and elsewhere. Hands down, Vin Rouge is truly something special you won't find anywhere else. Jenn carefully curates interesting boutique wines you likely won't find elsewhere. They are generally biodynamically produced as well. She knows the wines and she learns your palate and she'll recommend the right wine for your taste or mood. She brings in experts and special flight tastings. The charcuterie and other small snacks are equally carefully selected and prepared. If you like wine and want to learn about wine, make a reservation (it's a small place and books up quickly) and come join the Vin Rouge community.

A new wine bar to enjoy! A+ hospitality, very friendly, approachable, reasonably priced. Nice curated, cute decor, great bar. Great wine selection and food too. Only thing it's missing is an outside table to enjoy on the gorgeous days and COVID times. A nice addition to the neighborhood. Worth checking out for sure. Reservations are not required for those who are not planners like me.

Such a great addition to the Berkeley neighborhood. The atmosphere and ownership make you feel right at home. We love the wine flights and the well thought out wine list. They also have a tasty charcuterie try to go with the wine!
