Vin 25 in Roswell is a charming spot that’s just right for a cozy evening work sesh. We enjoyed the heated patio, which made for a comfortable setting even as the evening got cooler. The pimento cheese balls and the cheese board delicious and beautifully arranged. The service was excellent. Vin 25 has a welcoming ambiance that’s perfect for a casual night out or even a productive work meeting. Adorable and charming spot surrounding you with mature trees and lush greenery.

In truth, I was not going to leave this review as it is a principle of mine to leave bad experiences in the past and draw light to those that were good. However, the more I thought of the events that transpired the greater the conviction to write this review became. I will start by admitting we did make the mistake of arriving a bit early before they opened at 5 PM. We were exhausted because I flew in to visit my mother that morning and we subsequently spent the day shopping and hiking. As you can imagine we were tired and hungry so we rushed to our reservation excited to follow up a great day with dinner at an establishment which boasted phenomenal reviews. In our haste it slipped our minds that the restaurant was closed for about another 20 minutes, so when we opened the door and was promptly rushed out with the owner having a not too welcoming attitude it was understandable and we agreed to wait at a table outside until opening. Unfortunately, she still seemed flustered and unwelcoming as 5 PM rolled around, arriving at our table to bring the menus as well as noting the hostess/sever (her daughter) was running late as usual. She added the quip to not hire family and we thought to ourselves surely it couldn’t be that bad. We therefore assumed that perhaps they were just having an off day and decided this wouldn’t determine the outcome of the rest of our meal. A few more minutes passed and the hostess arrived to take our order with a less than pleasing attitude, to say she was inattentive would be too high praise. She hurriedly took our order with a rushed and sour disposition. Then brought the food out shortly after with a similar attitude. My mother immediately noticed her salmon was undercooked but decided to try it anyways because we second guessed what our eyes were seeing. After a few unpalatable bites and slicing into it we came to the realization the salmon was completely raw in the center (as pictured). We tried to get someone’s attention but the hostess, bartender, and basically most other staff were just chatting by the bar immersed in their own conversation. I did not want to get up with dinnerware on the table as another issue was that the chairs and tables for the outdoor seating are quite uncomfortable due to them being on uneven cobblestone and it placed us in an awkward situation where every time we got up it caused the table and chairs to shake. So, I called the restaurant and after many rings a young man in the group by the bar answered. I explained the predicament and asked if our sever could come a moment, he did not even let me finish fully before without saying a word I could see him drop the phone from his ear and mention in exasperation that I was calling. The server hesitated to come out with a sigh of frustration herself. The overall attitude of the staff was off putting and unprofessional. None of them should be employed there. My mother caught on earlier than I did because I was intent on enjoying our time there. I kept making up excuses until that point as we were clearly being treated abhorrently for reasons we could not fathom since we were polite even in the face of their indifference and said very little for the time we were there. The hostess/server did come out eventually and we conveyed the issue after which she promptly took the dish back to the kitchen. After having a brief conversation my mother and I decided we’d just pay the bill and dine elsewhere. I went inside to ask for the check and the same man (perhaps the bartender) that answered the phone said “she is coming in” with an air of animosity. I explained I was coming in to pay our check and leave. This is when the owner came out to try and explain that they were inquiring with the kitchen as to what transpired and if we wanted to leave she would not allow us to pay. We went back and forth insisting on paying but she refused to take any payment and we left. It would have been a predictable outcome had we just read the few one star reviews and believed them. I highly suggest you do that!

Love this place. Outdoor seating after dinner around a fire pit is different than anything in Atlanta. They also have their own little parking lot for the restaurant. Worth checking out. Felt like Napa.

Good atmosphere and very cozy. I had a date dinner with my husband. We started with drinks (Lebanese red wine totally recommend) and ordered one entree and one snack (risotto with scallops and peppers filled with short ribs). The food was so delicious that we ordered one more entree (lamb). We finish our night with a particular dessert (pumpkin donuts w/ sprinkled bacon). Service was excellent and very clean place We will go back again to continue tasting their delicious dishes

I had the coziest of date nights ❣️ at @vin25bistro. Located 30 mins north of Buckhead in Historic Roswell, Vin 25 is a neighborhood wine bar and bistro serving up new American cuisine. They have an exclusive, international wine selection and a seasonal menu that changes up at least 5 times a year. The heated outdoor patio, circle fire pit, and live music set the mood ☺️☺️ Vin25 was a breath of fresh air and a nice getaway from the city. I highly recommend celebrating anniversaries, birthdays, even for a nice staycation. I tried: Ribeye (13 oz): steak with braised bacon cauliflower, togarashi, smoked scallion chimichuri Lamb Osso Bucco; lime ginger gremolata, blistered tomato polenta, natural gravy Pimento Cheese Fritters red pepper chili jam Charcuterie house pickles, onions, condiments Lemon Crème Brûlée Would you try the lamb or ribeye? • Follow ➡️ @ServingLooksATL for more hidden gems around the city 🌆.

Great small wine bar with good entrees. The service was great and the food came out quickly. Nice old style setting right in the middle of downtown Roswell

Yelp
This is such a romantic restaurant. Beautiful patio and amazing live music that isn't too loud, very relaxing and allows you to have great convos Their braised steak was delicious but the winner was that bacon cauliflower cream under it - wow Bolognese wasn't your typical meat sauce, had a unique flavor we couldn't put our finger on but it was tasty Service was really Wonderful and prompt - it's also in such a cute corner of Roswell Tip - check out the wine spot next door !!

Yelp
VIN25 is a hidden gem off Plum St in downtown Historic Roswell. The seasonal cocktails are extraordinary. Chef Tony has created an amazing menu with explosive flavors! This visit we started with Toast, Duck Rangoon, & Scallops and Clams. Each one had a unique flavor, HIGHLY recommend the Scallops & Clams! For entrees, we feasted on Sixty South Salmon (YUM!) and Crispy Pork Shoulder (to die for!) Dessert was indescribably delectable! A board of house made stuffed ice cream cookie and the most delicious bread pudding with a side of delicate hazelnut pudding like scrumptiousness. We sat outside where we were warm under the heaters and enjoyed the live music. Service is exceptional and top notch. You'll want to enjoy this quaint spot by the fire pit, inside, or on the patio, year round!

Yelp
Came in last night around 8:30 for coffee and a couple of your amazing desserts. We were promptly sat and greeted. We were informed that you didn't serve coffee, but that there was espresso if that would suffice. Kind of baffling, but fine. After ordering our favorite, the peanut butter cup, and the recommended choice, the bread pudding, we sat for 25 minutes with nothing delivered. When our server finally came by we asked about our desserts. She then brought one and apologized saying she'd forgotten and it was on the house. We asked where the other was and she confusedly said hold on, and went to get that one. She returned and said that too was on the house. So, she dropped the ball on 100% of our food and we had to make due with espresso because she didn't want to brew coffee. Although our bill was relatively small due to her comps, this visit was a complete fail top to bottom. Sad. We usually enjoy quiet visits to your cozy restaurant, but after this one we will probably consider somewhere else next time. No manager ever came by to quality check us or apologize for our server blowing us off and forgetting to ring in 100% of our food

Yelp
everything was divine. 100% would come back. I cannot rave more about their food. E X P E R I E N C E we came as a party of 3 for a tuesday 5pm reservation for a get together and bday. I had made a reservation a week in advance and there were plenty available. one friend came on time and was immediately sat. we were immediately served water and offered drinks. we stayed until about 645pm. parking lot was about 30% full. there were only 3 tables sat inside and 3 outside. it was not very busy. A M B I A N C E casual to cocktail. definitely can wear heels, just be careful of the gravel parking lot and the beautiful stone pathway. great for couples to large groups. farmhouse industrial decor. elegant. nicely dimmed. beautiful outdoor seating with heaters. Adirondack chairs available. bar height and dining height available. P A R K I N G restaurant is a little hidden, off the main road. do follow the small road in, you're going the right direction! you'll see a lot of homes turned into restaurants! that's what vin50 is as well. parking is easy. no drawn lines on the gravel floor but everyone seems to be pretty good/respectful about parking close enough to each other. there is plenty of space for id say 20 cars. C L E A N L I N E S S well kept restrooms and store F O O D freaking. amazing. everything was divine. 100% would come back. sixty south salmon 30: edamame risotto, coconut chili broth, snow crab surimi, Wonton shrimp: risotto was not mushy like baby food. still had texture. salmon was cooked al dente so just a tiny undercooked. it was perfect. flavor was incredible. bolognese 27: beef and pork bolognese, fettuccine, aromatics, burrata, garlic herb ciabatta crumbs: sooo good. I'm ordering this next time. fettuccine cooked al dente as well and soaked in that sauce. not too sauce-y. texture and consistency was perfect. plenty of meat. pan roasted chicken 26: shiitake mushrooms Ragusa, pearl onion farrotto, warm tomato bacon conserva: my friend loved it. I rarely would order chicken as a lot of times, it's cooked very dry. this was tender, soft, moist, flavorful, not doused in cream or sauce. homemade oreo ice cream: so tasty! a good sharing portion. everyone gets a few bites. I'm massive so I would eat the whole thing by myself. nothing out of this world but had great texture and flavor. *TIP*no dessert menu but there were 4 phenomenal options (white choc, oreo ice cream, reeses cup, and beignet) so im assuming it's daily/seasonal! *TIP*portion sizes were decent. but i also eat a lot. so. I'd say if you love food, you'd want to do an app, main and dessert for sure. I was only 50% full. S E R V I C E fantastic. she was extremely friendly, would rattle off all the options of drinks and food for us as it was our first time. she was very well prepared and attentive. we had told her we were really just here to catch up and she made sure to still check in but was not overbearing. she was perfection. unfortunate that I didn't catch her name...she said it but i forgot-I was too excited to meet up with my friends. blonde lady, shoulder height hair, about 5ft8, white, beautiful smile. also a male, I'm assuming is the manager, came up to us to check in. that was kind of him. P R I C E I didnt get a peek. my friend paid for me

Yelp
Soooo loud!! Music was obnoxiously loud, especially for a 5pm reservation. Most tables are large parties -there's only a few tables of 4 or less. Food was good. Service was ok.

Yelp
Think about walking down a French country lane - pretty rustic homes, leafy trees and you come across some restaurants - neighborhood places.....yes indeed Plum Avenue in Roswell - one block over from bustling Canton street is a pretty decent re-creation of this. Vin 25 feels very European, a cottage setting, a beautiful outdoor patio area with seating, fireplaces....on this night it was way too cold so we went inside (and forgetting that we were sitting by the door and when it opened, it was pretty rough - we had a lovely experience. It's a busy spot - a large bar that goes across one end of the room - that seems to be the place to hang out - and many locals were doing just that. And then a couple large tables in the middle and smaller tables around. We were seated quickly and greeted warmly. Drinks - Expert - Old Fashioned and some nice Gin/St Germain concoction were really nice. Decent wine by the glass list and I think they sell bottles (can you bring your own? Not sure).....Bartenders are busy, friendly and kow what they are doing. Food - Small menu but they execute it really well. We started with Hummus and then Scallops and Clams on bread. OK - for people watching their carbs, this was tough - but man- whatever rustic French bread they do - holy cow it's good. Hummus was nice and light and clams and scallops I just wanted to drink the sauce..... We split and apple and spinach salad - I can't stand spinach but it was really good - well dressed (not heavy) and the bunch of stuff they put in it was flavorful We opted for the Trout special - it was very well done - nice flaky spiced right....and the crispy pork shoulder. It was just that - crispy and loaded with flavor. The apple hash was almost great - the onions and apples were heavenly but the sweet potatoes were crispy raw.....the only ding on the evening. Service was great- our server (Josh) was a great mix of friendly, efficient, hands off, but never far, and good recommendations.....the owners (I think they were) were very present, smiling, helping, and made it feel well-tended. This is a new favorite. Service was nice - Josh our server paced it we

Yelp
My date and I came to Vin 25 for dinner on a beautiful Spring night and the scenery was absolutely idyllic like a storybook setting. Vin 25 is located in downtown Roswell, tucked away on Plum Street and it is quaint and really nice for outdoor dining. There was virtually no one sitting inside considering it was such a nice sunny evening and they also have heating lamps once it gets chilly. We started with cocktails--he had the old-fashioned and I had the pink panther which was very strong, tart, and fruity with Mezcal liquor. For an appetizer, we had the pimento cheese fritters with red pepper jelly and I highly recommend it, super delicious. I had the salmon and he had the hanger steak and both were wonderfully plated with a perfect blending of ingredients and tasted delectable. If you haven't already been to Vin 25 definitely check it out! It is a gem hidden in Roswell.

Yelp
If you're looking for superb cuisine, not pretentious, but carefully constructed, aromatic, well presented, and meticulously cooked to specifications... then look no further than Vin 25. A quaint location, with outside music, and bustling vibe inside, Vin 25, at least for me, ticked all the boxes to celebrate my birthday and our guests, one who was also celebrating his birthday. There are many choices in Roswell to dine, but I recommend Vin 25 purely for their food and ambiance. Being a chef and a culinary instructor, I have no faults to share about their food. If you're on a romantic date, and it's not 100f outside, I'd suggest dining outside. On our dining evening, for me, I preferred the cool A/C inside... Let's talk about service. Of course, if something were to go wrong, it will. How Vin 25 recovered, well, perhaps they could have done a little better. Our server, I could not tell if he was a relatively new server, or just didn't know how to open a bottle of wine. We ordered a bottle of the Auctioneer Napa Cabernet Sauvignon (2019). For me, vintage and terroir is everything. For others who read this, maybe not. More importantly, my advice to Vin 25 Ownership, find a local Sommelier to come in and train your servers on the art of wine service. As soon as our server began to remove the cork, I knew we were in trouble. The result was... he broke the cork. I discretely offered to remove the rest of the cork, which I did. He did not seem overly interested in this process, nor did he show appreciation that I removed it, and possibly saved him from a chewing out from his manager later in service. The food was excellent, as I said before... three of us ordered the salmon. I like mine medium rare, and it was perfect. My guests dishes, as far as could tell was also perfect. The salmon was sitting atop a deliciously prepared edamame risotto. In top of the salmon was a fried wonton and a sprinkling of snow crab surimi, which is not snow crab at all (as we know)... usually it's minced up Pollock... but it was a nice garnish. I also recommend the white bean hummus with roasted garlic, feta, and basil oil. The menu stated that this appetizer has preserved lemons. If there was preserved lemons, I did not taste them in the hummus. We also had the Pimento Cheese Fritters with red pepper chili jam. Sweet and salty. Love it. I'd return to Vin 25, and hopefully the servers, by then, are well-trained in the art of wine service.

Yelp
Love this place! I've never been disappointed with the food, and the service has been great. Terrific environment any time of the day!

Ravi B.

Yelp
My family and I came here for a birthday event and it was amazing! We loved it so much we are already excited to be back and we almost went two days in a row. We sat outside and the weather in the evening was perfect. Our server(s) were so nice and their cocktails and wine menu were unique and great. We got a charcuterie board and a smoked beet salad which both were amazing. We were curious about the dinner menu, but we had other dinner plans afterwards which this place was making us curious if we would end up regretting. We will definitely be back here! I would say hands down they have the best charcuterie board i've had in a long time.

Casey V.

Yelp
Every time at Vin25 is a wonderful experience and the staff is so kind and knowledgeable. We ventured back for restaurant week and thoroughly enjoyed the options! The onion bisque was divine.

Yelp
Love this place ftom the meats and cheeses to the small plates to the entrees. Always change with season and always good menu. Great wines by glass too

Roz J.

Yelp
This place is a casual hangouts with live music outside. We were seated outside and host was pleasant. The food was good, we ordered cheese balls as appetizers which was really delicious. Crunchy outside and soft inside. Our main was the steak which came with cauliflower (healthier option) that mirror the mashed potatoes flavor. Their wine selection and taste was excellent. Definitely a summer place to dine and enjoy live music.

Yelp
Solid eats paired with great vino is something I can always get behind. Vin 25 is such a cute spot in Roswell. It's like entering a good friend's home and also boasts a rockin' patio that's perfect for enjoying your drinks and eats. I came with two others on a weeknight and we sat inside. To eat, we shared the pimento cheese fritters and hummus to start, and I got the scallops as my main entree. In general, everything was presented beautifully and well done. The scallops were a highlight for me, but I also enjoyed trying the cheese fritters which is something we just don't get down in Miami. The menu is succinct but has a little something for everyone. I'd be pretty confident ordering anything off the menu and trusting it's tasty! Service was a little meh throughout. Hard to get our waiter's attention to order, pay, etc. Besides that though, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Vin 25 for a solid meal out.

Oneka P.

Yelp
Went on a Friday night for a birthday dinner. It's in a cute area of Roswell. Fairly small on the inside. I believe most ppl come for a glass of wine. I didn't try any wine but had a nice champagne. Friendly and helpful staff. I tried the pimiento fritters and they were delicious! Can't go wrong with fried cheese. For my meal I ordered the hanger steak which came with cauliflower. Very tender and flavorful steak. The cauliflower was also really tasty, I believe it was cooked in bacon - delish! Would def come back again!

K J.

Yelp
Staff only really likes the regulars... ants all over the bar... Hard to get a drink when I was there.

Joe S.

Yelp
I wanted to give this place 5* for the ambiance alone... but the food and substantial wine options made me feel even better about doing so. We came in for a late dinner so wanted to go lighter with just an entree and appetizer to share. Fromage appetizer, otherwise known as the cheese board. Excellent paired with a great bottle of wine. And the chicken special that was sooo good that we almost returned a second night in a row. Ended the meal with a giant chocolate peanut butter cup dessert. OMG.... I want that right now

Visa E.

Yelp
5 stars verified with Vin25.. Great place in Dtown Roswell. Compliments to the chef. Everything on the menu looked great.. Great Mother's day dinner for my wife. Nested in the vines of Deep roots so you can enjoy wine before you fine dine. Lol

Yelp
If you are in the mood for a quaint neighborhood wine bar check out this spot. It was warm summer night so we opted to sit outside. Which it was peaceful, birds chirping, crickets singing you know the sounds of nature. Their patio area is nicely shaded by trees. We ordered several dishes with the waiters recommendations. The salmon was amazing and cooked to perfection. The Brussel sprouts were flavorful and nicely charred. The hummus was a hit as well as the toast with arugula and pine nuts. Basically everything we ordered was flavorful and delectable! Great for date night, girls night out, business meeting, family friendly for those that have adult children.

Yelp
In a quaint cottage just off the hustle and bustle of Canton's food district in Roswell, Vin 25's heated patio glows with firepits and the chatter of diners can be heard down Plum Street. We visited for Roswell Restaurant Weeks, but beyond that, this little slice of heaven is the perfect spot for an intimate date night, a glass of wine with your bestie, or just for a relaxing meal on the patio. Their stellar menu boasts large plates like succulent salmon to amazing charcuterie and fromage boards, unique wines like the Albarino Reserva from Uruguay, craft cocktails, and a whole slew of small plates. Just thinking about Vin 25 is making us hungry, let's dig in. Just because Vin 25 sells as a wine bar, doesn't mean you can't sip on a tasty cocktail. We sampled the La Rosa and it was a real treat from the mix of lemon, tequila, and sparkling rose. But what really makes this cocktail is that bit of spice from the prevalent amount of black pepper. It gives it just that little edge to elevate it from good to great. Now, being that Vin 25 IS a wine bar, we had to try something different, so we paired our salmon with the wine pairing recommended, the Barbera. A mild red wine out of Italy that is lighter bodied and more reminiscent of a pinot noir. Not too fruity, but not too bold, this one went so well with the earthiness of the foraged mushrooms and Brussel sprouts on the main course. We also were treated to the Albarino Reserva out of Uruguay, which is a white varietal that reminds us of in between a Vinho Verde and a Pinot Grigio. It was tart with a slight acidity but mellows out on the back of the pallet for a smooth finish. What a wonderful wine! As we mentioned, we went for Roswell Restaurants Weeks and got the 3-course meal that included Winter Squash Toast, 60 South Salmon, and Buttermilk Cake. On top of that we got gigantic charcuterie and fromage board! The board consists of 5 rotating meats and cheeses that can range from Tomme, which was John's favorite, to Red Dragon from Whales, which was Liz's favorite. What's Red Dragon? It's an aged cheddar that contains grain mustard seeds. Delicious. On the meats, we sampled two types of salami, prosciutto, and more. Who knows what will end up on the board next time! Hope it has the honeycomb and the bacon jam, those were very welcome accoutrement to the meats and cheeses presented! One of the better meat and cheese boards around, if you ask us. The first course for the 3-course meal was the Winter Squash Toast. This seasonal vegetable toast had so much flavor! Just imagine the creamy and sweet winter squash purée melts into the crunchy toast and as you bite you go from creamy and sweet to savory of the bacon, tart of the currant vinaigrette, to tang of the pickled onions. Did we mention this one was bursting with flavor? It's so complex and really tasty! The second course was the 60 South Salmon.  This one is a beautiful plate and just as beautiful tasting. The English pea purée is creamy and a little earthy that pairs perfectly with the tender salmon. Sitting in the middle of the salmon, the brussel sprouts are cooked just right and mixed with foraged mushrooms. This rounds out the flavors of earthy, crispy, and a richness. Such a good dish, and a great portion! Must try. The third course was the Buttermilk Cake.  Not too sweet, not too rich, this moist and delicate cake has a warm and buttery caramel on top of a boozy Rumchatta cream. Those dynamic flavors are well balanced with the addition of strawberries for tartness and almonds and pecans for a crunch. What's better than good food is always good company, we enjoyed talking to Mac, the GM, and our waiter about all things wine and beer. They have an amazing staff, stellar menu, and top-notch drinks. We can't wait to sit on their amazing patio when the weather gets warmer. We'll have to get the Albarino Reserva again and try a new bite or two. What would you like to try?

Yelp
A cute little house wine bar and charming patio (which is difficult to score a seat on even with reservations on the weekends). There are much better places to have dinner in Roswell. My meal was average. We actually did not like the short rib stuffed peppers appetizer. The pictures make this place look better than it is. I was disappointed.

Austin H.

Yelp
My wife and I went here for our anniversary dinner and was simply blown away. It's quickly moved up to one of our favorite restaurants and we will be back many times. They have a great bar inside and some tables but sitting outside here is where it is at. They have very comfortable tables and sitting under the trees and lights on a quiet street is a great venue. Plus on this night they had live music, just instruments no singing, and just added to the ambiance. We could have really hung out all night long. We also had great service. The servers were super nice and you don't see this a lot, especially since all the servers seemed young, but they were experts on the menu and the dishes. My wife likes to ask questions, too many questions, and the server never missed a beat. She never had to go ask the manager or chef and all of her recommendations after listening to us were spot on. So venue and servers are top-notch, but what really blew me away was the food. It will just knock your socks off. We started with the meat and cheese boards. Just the amazing and unique flavor in all of the selections was astounding. There was not one single cut that we did not love, and many times the accompaniments are an afterthought but here they shined just as well as any piece of cheese or meat. After this, we went with an order of the mushroom toast, snow crab risotto, and duck confit which was the special that night. Our favorite by far was the duck confit. It was perfectly cooked with a great crispy skin without it being too hardened, sitting in the juices of the bird and mouth-watering rendered fat with the perfect amount of light seasoning and served with some astounding risotto and vegetables. If you don't love this dish then you don't love food! The snow crab risotto had such an amazingly generous portion of snow crab. It was so perfect the sweet briny flavor with the rice of the risotto was melded perfectly. I really want to know what stock they used to make the risotto because it wasn't mouth bursting flavor, it was really mild but perfectly in step with the snow crab flavor. I am so glad they let the snow crab shine here in this dish. Lastly, if you are even a halfway fan of mushrooms you have to get the mushroom toast. There were so many different kinds of mushrooms on that toast, I don't even know what they were, and they were very generous with the amount. Add in some truffle cream and perfect pickled onions and you have yourself a top-notch dish. Don't forget the name of this place VIN, because in addition to everything here we also found that the wine we had was astounding and many moved onto my favorite wine list. You will notice throughout this review I have mentioned things being my favorite several times. Once in a blue moon we go to a restaurant where I find something good enough to remember, add to my favorite list, and seek out in the future, but here I found so many things that I wish for once I could give a restaurant more than 5 stars.

Madison R.

Yelp
I would like to start off by saying the food was fantastic. If the staff would be just as fantastic I would give 5 stars easily. My 6 friends and I all had drinks at the bar and then were seated. We were told they could transfer our drinks to our table. Apparently they didn't know how to do that. We had a great night with great food until some blonde girl that worked the bar came over with the BIGGEST attitude. She decided to tell us it was taking them forever to get our checks because we are trying to split them. I told her no worries we aren't in any rush. She then went on and on about how it's impossible to split checks and we should have never have asked to do that. Meanwhile there are only 5 tables in the whole place.. get your act together lady. About 3 mins later she then slams the whole check on the table and says YOU NEED TO SPLIT THIS! I called the manager over and explained that we didn't want to split the check and the lady was being extremely rude about the whole thing. He did absolutely nothing about it. RUDE RUDE RUDE. I would get rid of her instantly. You will lose many customers with someone like her. She wasn't even our server. Needless to say I paid $70 for my $20 meal. (A beer and I split a dinner).

Yelp
Good food, good service, nice atmosphere. Balanced offerings and reasonable portions at a fair price.

Yelp
My DH and I spent the evening at Vin 25 as part of Roswell Restaurant Week. We had dinner there on Wednesday evening. The Restaurant Week menu consisted of a choice of two appetizers, two entrees, and two desserts. DH had the pimento fritters, salmon with edamame risotto, and the house-made peanut butter cup. I had the Pecan Basil Pesto Toast, Chorizo Mezzaluna, and Crema Catalana. We opted to enjoy the wine pairings, which consisted of a short pour of wine with each course. For the most part, the food and wine were exemplary. DH's salmon was perfectly cooked, and my mezzaluna was tasty and spicy enough to be entertaining. I wish they would have served some bread so that I could have sopped up more of the Salsa Brava. The only thing less than exemplary was DH's house-made chocolate and peanut butter cup. Even though the peanut butter was unsweetened, the entire effect of the dessert was cloyingly sweet, and the paired tawny port did not enhance the experience. My Crema Catalana, on the other hand, was delicious. It was served with a tart satsuma compote and a tasty (but not overly sweet) almond cookie. The paired sherry didn't quite go with the Crema but went great with the cookie. Our servers were friendly and knowledgeable. The pacing of the meal was just about perfect. The meal was served at our pace, with only a few minutes wait between courses.

Yelp
We came here on a Friday night and it was packed. We are glad we had a reservation as we were able to be seated immediately. The tables are pretty packed together and the vibe was energetic. The menu was very enticing and had a lot of good options, as did the cocktail and wine list. Our server was pretty on top of things so we ordered quickly. We started with the pimento cheese fritters, which were just okay, but then things went uphill from there. I had the short rib for my entree and the chimichurri sauce was on point. Nice and thick and flavorful. There was a decent amount of food and the presentation was great! There is an outdoor patio which would be great on those nice weathered nights. Bummed they will be closed until 12/31/2020. Hope to see them after the pandemic.

Yelp
Service was great , our charcuterie board was cute and yummy, will return again for date night!

Yelp
6/5/21 Vin25- We sat outside as a foursome and had a really good time. The outside patio was very large and they had their own parking which was a real bonus in Roswell. For appetizers, we had the fried pimento cheese balls and the bread plate with various spreads. Both were really good and the spreads for the bread plate were outstanding. We all had entrées which were very good and the desserts were phenomenal. Needless to say, we all were stuffed. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, their corkage is $25 per bottle, but the total fee may be negotiable when you bring more than one bottle. :)

Yelp
Wonderful atmosphere! I live very nearby and decided to walk over & chose Vin 25 based on the wonderful outdoor music they had (2 guys playing guitar & bass, no singing) and have dinner. I ordered the linguine with braised lamb and had their bread pudding for dessert. Pasta was very underwhelming. Lamb was tender, but overall it was under seasoned and in a watery sauce that wasn't terribly appealing. Their bread pudding is fried or baked but its dry, and tasted exactly like mediocre french toast, not bread pudding. But the drinks and service were EXCELLENT. I'll probably come here more often, but for drinks only, but would recommend.

Yelp
Vin25 is a lovely spot in downtown Roswell for small groups to gather with a great glass of wine in hand! My most recent visit was around 7:30 on a week night so I found it easy to get a table. Even though we had a reservation, we didn't necessarily need it for our visit. Half of the dining room was full and a few folks were sitting on the cute little outside patio. The service started out a little slow but he was tending to a table who had just decided on their wine experience for the evening, so I'm not mad about it. They have a smaller staff and cozy atmosphere so I won't let this tarnish my experience overall. Basically, if you're coming here in a rush - you're doing it wrong. The menu is pretty small for food and the wine experience is really what you are excited about. Amiright? We started out with fritters and hummus. Loved the harissa in the hummus because gave it a really nice flavor. There were chickpeas on top of the creamy hummus with thick pita bread slices with oil brushed on top. Pimento cheese fritters sat atop a pepper jelly that was just ok - the gooey pimento cheese was a rockstar on its own. For my main course I ordered the Springer Mountain chicken paillard which was crispy on the outside and cooked perfectly tender on the inside. It was covered in lemony hollandaise and sat atop a potato-scallion pancake. It was also served with big spears of grilled asparagus which were yummy dipped in the hollandaise. I had a previous experience where we had a gals wine night and had some delicious California reds and snacked on starters all night. Both experiences were lovely and I will likely visit Vin25 again!

Yelp
Would not ever go here again. The bartender mistakenly poured a more expensive whiskey than what was ordered. We offered to pay for 1/2 of the $60 mistaken pour. He threw out the entire drink right in front of our face. I have never ever seen or heard of this before. Nor has anyone I have told about this story. Everyone knows he should have charged us for what we actually ordered and let us drink it since it was his mistake. Unbelievable

Yelp
I am so disappointed. Not because the quality or ambiance changed, but because it's clear that they couldn't give a rats a$$ about their customers any longer. We've been here 6 times, and most of those visits have been really good. This last time showed us that they are most concerned with the average check, than with how they are perceived by regular customers. Overcharged by the manager, and a poor explanation by him to boot. We will find someplace else to spend our money. Makes me sad to leave you, but this is what bad management and poor decisions get you. Take good care of your regular customers and they will keep coming back. Overcharge then and treat them poorly and they will never come back. Best of luck to you Vin25

Yelp
This is such a sweet, intimate spot! Love the outdoor patio and fire-pit! Great wine and cocktails! We did not eat food this time but definitely want to go back to try everything!

Yelp
Amazing food. Quiet indoor atmosphere... highly, highly recommend for a date night!!! Wine selection is also great, & they were super accommodating for my partners food restrictions.

Yelp
spent. We were trying to explain ourselves but she kept cutting us off and talking very rudely to us. We told her we didn't want Ethan to get in trouble for this issue and she said he won't, even though I just watched her right in front of us get onto him about the situation. After we left we were all standing outside talking to one another and she came out and gave us a card for the GM's number. She asked if we've been there before, which we told her that many of us have, and then we asked for her name and she gave it to us with a petty attitude. "It's Christy, C-h-r-i-s-t-y" and then walked off. Overall, Christy needs to learn some manners and how to speak to people. I have worked in the food service industry as a server/manager for many years and know this is not how you treat your customers or even people in general. Ethan was fantastic though and if you come here you need to ask for him. He kept checking in on us and was super sweet. Ethan, I'm sorry you got chewed out by Christy.

Yelp
I absolutely loved the evening I spent at Vin 25. Cute little house turned into a wine bar/restaurant. Bathrooms were very nice and super clean. We sat at the bar and had the charcuterie plate which was large. The wine was very good and there was a large selection to choose from. I'd like to return another time to actually have dinner. Everything I saw looked good.

Yelp
Great date night spot with excellent service. We went on a Saturday night and we're lucky to get seated right away. I was a little worried that we might have to wait a bit based on the other reviews. They have a great selection of wine and cocktails. Hubby got a mezcal drink with a smoked salt rim. He liked it a lot. I got a rosé which was ok. I liked their red wine selection a lot better and chose a glass of Malbec. For appetizers we got the pimento cheese fritters and lobster gnocchi. They were so good. The chili jam that came with the fritters was amazing. It paired perfectly. The gnocchi was also delicious. The potato gnocchi wasn't dry and there were plenty of lobster pieces. For my main course I got the crab cakes. The portion was on the smaller side with two tiny cakes. The lobster gnocchi would have been a better entree option if you don't want to commit to an actual entree portion. Hubby got the duck with horseradish mashed potatoes. It was his first time trying duck and he finished most of it. The dessert options are a must try. We went with the Oreo moon pie which is an Oreo crust with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, and a berry sauce. Overall great food, wine, and service. We'll be back for another date night!

Yelp
Best patio in Roswell! Love when they have entertainment outside. Amazing wine, app, and dessert selection.

Yelp
Went here because I wanted to take my boyfriend out on a romantic date night. Really enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. 5ambience 5service 5Food and beverage 4 Menu choices (wish they had a couple more options on the menu) 3reservations (can only make reservations if you have a group of at least 6 people) While the food here is delicious, the lack of menu deters me from going to eat here for date night. But would love to come back for apps and wine. Overall would recommend.

Yelp
One of my favorite restaurants in Roswell. The food and service are excellent and the patio is the perfect place to dine when the weather is nice. I hope they are able to make it through these tough Covid times.

Yelp
Super cute spot, right in old Roswell. Wine portion are little weak but at least the wine is good specially the Pinot Grigio Charming wood ambiance. Young and hip waiters.

Yelp
Great little find in downtown Roswell. Super friendly bartender, and very knowledgeable. I was impressed at their selection, and obscure drinks. They have espresso, too.

Yelp
I don't know what was better the food service or the drinks!! We WILL be back !! Scallops &steak win

Yelp
Best restaurant and experience in Old Roswell, by far!! The owner, Phillip Cooper (Coop) is deeply involved with day to day operations, and knows his wine better than anyone else in the ATL. VIN25 lives up to it's name, as they always keep at least 25 wines available by the glass... They keep some of the popular favorites, but overall offer an amazing variety of wines from around the world. The renevated quaint little house is adorable inside, but it is the patio that is hard to leave once you find your seat under the beautiful and ancient pecan tree, or around the fire pit. Next time you are in Roswell, stop in... You will NOT be disappointed!!

Yelp
After being seated we were told that we had to be finished by 7 because they had a two hour seating. The place was basically empty. And cold! The food was ok . As we were packing up to leave some other person passed by to tell us our time was up. The place was basically empty . Bad customer service and won't be going back

Yelp
Extremely disappointed in Vin 25. Wish I knew the name of the man/host at the door that is arrogant and snobby. I've enjoyed Vin 25 several times in the past as it has a beautiful outdoor area, but I will not return. Happy to cross the street to Madrids or Deep Roots where they appreciate their customers.

Yelp
Great dining experience! Listening to blues music; a bottle of wine; eating great food; and sitting outside under a shaded tree on a warm lazy summers afternoon . The "life is good" feeling is what I was experiencing at this moment. They make a great hummus appetizer that you must try (ate it so fast I forgot to take a pick). It was just the right flavor and portion to drink with wine to get you prepared for the main course. The two entree's had very different but good seasoning styles so depending on your taste buds you may want to choose accordingly. The steak Diane has more of a rich well seasoned flavor (which I like) where there is there is the right amount of salt use to give the tender meat some soul. The chicken had more of a clean light creamy taste (which was also good) that blended well with the dish and represented the nostalgic mood a bit more clearly. They have a very friendly and down to earth staff and waiters (although there was one female waitress that was a bit too over enthusiastic but meant well - bless her heart). One suggestion I would give is to add some fans for the outdoor dining to create just the right amount of breeze for those hot summer days. Overall it was a very cool dining experience that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Yelp
