Where to Order Cocktails to Go in Boston, Summer 2020 | Eater Boston

"The bottled cocktails pictured here are currently out of stock — keep an eye on the Vincent’s ordering page (see link below) for their return — but you’ll also find a few takeout classic cocktails available in plastic 12-ounce cups, such as a Paloma and a Tom Collins. Vincent’s is also selling plenty of food, old records, and more. Currently offering takeout, delivery, and outdoor dining. Order: Official Website" - Rachel Leah Blumenthal

Vincent's Country store is okay in a pinch. But the prices are way too expensive. More expensive than most convenience stores. So if there's a closer convenience store to you, it'll probably be worth your while to go I'll go to a regular supermarket because they seem to raise your prices more than any other store around.

Very clean and tidy - well organized and well stocked. They also have alcohol which is a plus. They do have some budget-friendly options, but I think for the most part they’re a bit pricier than other larger grocery stores. Good to have this option in town though. They’re located in a small plaza, so there’s plenty of parking.

I loved it because fast service and it had mini shopping carts for little kids and it can hold everything you need if your just going in for a few things

Visited for 15 minutes following a hike. This is a lovely store, there are plenty of items on sale and store-brand items for those on a budget. Alcohol is also sold.

Beautifully maintained and merchandised country store. I love to see the good operators staying strong. I highly recommend supporting your local proprietor, it will be a sad time when only the soulless corporations are left. Nice work and God bless!

Google
Great grocery selection. And a great craft beer selection as well. We were at Great Wolf Lodge and forgot our bag of snacks and drinks at Home. Vincent's Country Store was a short drive away and was super convenient for our needs.

Yelp
Inflation aside, if you are planning a picnic this is the place to stop! Lots of special cheese, yogurt, deli meats and sweet treats. Has special wines and beer for those who imbibe alcohol. The place also has on display several collections of antiques. These include beer cans, Budweiser commemorative mugs, bicycles, and childrens fancy trike-type vehicles. There is a giant shopping cart sculpture in the parking lot which is a piece of moves American culture.

I often grab lunch here and just browse check out the bikes and such every town needs a Vincent's brownies are bombdiggity. And a giant hot rod shopping cart to boot

Yelp
When a local business loses compassion for its community members it's hard to support. Even worse when your loved one is treated unjustly as was our experience. When my disabled family member went in to shop she was approached by the owner asking in a condescending way if she needed any help with anything. In the next few minutes local law enforcement was called to assist with her suspicious behavior, she appeared impaired ... she has a form of Parkinson's, of course she has involuntary movement as she disclosed and her car has a handicap placard. Watching out for your loved ones and protecting them from humiliation isn't what I call supporting your community. I have had trouble getting her to go out in public since this degrading incident. We will not nor will friends and family be supporting this business any further. How sad! I hope the owner realizes the heart wrenching impact this had on a handicapped person!

Yelp
I truly love a store like Vincents. It makes me so happy to see a much smaller scale grocer than a chain store. So so many benefits to shopping at a place like Vincents. Where do I begin? Produce: Not an immense selection, but almost all of it is local, especially if its in season. Such good squash and zucchini! They also have more than just heads of iceberg lettuce so I as a salad freak love this. You may not find all the fruit in the world, not 6 varieties of apples, but the basics you will see regularly. Deli: Boar's head! Wahoo! Not every single boars head offering is available but it seems like they only have the obscure stuff you won't see at the grocery store - like teriyaki turkey for example. They have all of their condiments and sauces as well. There are other brands too and all are super small batch,... yes they have LOL American too for the boring people :) Deli salads are also delightful and freshly prepared in small batches. Frozen : some cool finds here! Just different brands that are mostly local and are out of this world. If I don't need a sack of frozen veggies, I will stop in here versus Price Chopper because they just taste so much more vibrant I also found Yuengling black and tan ice cream here! LOVE IT! Also - above the freezer cases there is the cutest collection of antique tricycles. So charming and cool. Meats are good but limited. They must grind their own beef because its outstanding. They always have sausages and they have a bunch of different dry rubs and seasonings in a bunch pf varieties right in the meat shelf - for about 6 bucks! Baked:: No bakery , but the baked goods section is enough to get lost in, even though its small. I LOVE the snowflake dinner rolls. they taste like the Hawaiian rolls but sweeter, and dusted in flour mmm. They also have Cranberry orange cookies and toffee cookies that I crave for days until I grab them. The french bread is always a hit when I slice it up, toast and serve with dips. Not much for laundry needs, cleaning or health and beauty just the absolute necessities.Plus they are much more tin cost han anywhere else. They do sell beer, cigarettes and lottery items as well. Staff is always nice, which is a given in a small town grocer. and always welcome! Overall, the prices are much higher than the grocery store but not outrageous like a convenience store or gas station. The offerings are greatly unique but you will find the mainstays that you need easily. I will remark on the wide variety of condiments they have! i will pick up a new kind of mustard or pickled this and that something or other each time I come in for a new different flavor to add to the week . You'll also find Virgil's Soda here - the only vegan soda that actually tastes amazing. Staff is always nice Upon checking out there's almost always a cute offering or baked good for pocket change and a quick nibble on the ride home.

Yelp
This was a spontaneous stop, saw it out of the corner of my eye while driving through and just banged a right into the parking lot! My gut just knew there was something I will love in Vincent's Country Store! I got brownies, a chicken parm sandwich that was pre made and absolutely exceeded expectations! It was fresh, loaded with flavor and chicken! I also got macaroni salad, which I very picky about and usually dot like.. in fact I intended on only getting the macaroni salad to try it but.. then I saw the sandwich! This macaroni salad is delicious! It also exceeded expectations, it has a fresh taste to it that I love. It makes it taste home made! I think probably everything in the store is great! I'm glad I stopped by and will definitely be back!

Yelp
Small town grocery store. Able to find what I am looking for. Comparable prices. Boars head deli meat is excellent tasting meat.

Yelp
This store is beautiful with nice displays and wooden floors. You can go down the aisles any way you want. Since other stores don't enforce the one way arrows, this is refreshing for those of us who try to follow the rules. Prices are very high. For example, iceberg lettuce was $2.99 and the cheapest packets of butter are over $5.00. There are some sale items at prices comparable to other stores. Patrons are polite and it is not crowded. Staff are matter of fact and could use some training like double bag heavier items. They sell alcohol if you are looking for that, but don't have other basics. For example, they did not have any eggplant. If you live in town and have to grab something quick it might be worth it, especially given all the gas guzzling SUVs in the parking lot. My car is fuel efficient and I would drive elsewhere any day before paying these prices again.

Yelp
This business has very nice service and usually has the things that I need. The items are a little more expensive than the grocery store but it's worth it if you need something.

Yelp
Like the store - nice look and has a good variety of what you want - BUT- I have been to this store many times and the teenagers they have working the store are the most unhappy group of people I have ever met. They barely say hello - they are super slow and act like you are disturbing their life. Very unsettling to say the least. Or they are chatting with each other and completely ignoring the customer who is waiting to check out. Can I suggest TRAINING!

Yelp
Vincent's is great... they have a big variety of food, a bakery and I'm pretty sure they even grind their own meat. I also highly recommend following them on Facebook because they're hilarious and have spur of the moment sales.

Yelp
I can't think of one bad thing to say about Vincent's. Their prices are pretty competitive for a market that size. They have a bakery on-site, their deli counter has Boore's Head cold cuts, they stock lots of gourmet treats from local vendors (wines, ice cream, cheeses, fancy bacon), plus they have all of the basic supplies you would need to cook a full dinner on the fly or get you through the week. They even have a whole Stonewall Kitchen section if you need a last minute hostess gift. And, they are all super friendly and they do great things for the community. I'm a big fan.

Yelp
Vincent's Country Store has much to offer - while I have heard some say "it's pricey" - if you look at the circular regularly you will see they have some good - actually EXCELLENT buys. The workers/owners whom I have met are all extremely pleasant and concerned about their customers! Clearly the meat department, deli and the bakery are top notch - creative and very tasty. So- - pricey? Overall it is the goal of getting ones' money's worth! AT VCS, you will certainly get plenty of value, great service in a very comfy store! Try it, I think you will like it. CJ
