London’s NYC-Style Pizza Power Ranking - London - The Infatuation

"This homage to NYC-style pizza is a matchbox-sized room on Bushey's high street that has a couple of walk-in-only tables, a suntrap bench, and a whole lot of eager takeaway customers. The regular pies are rolled ludicrously thin to ensure an even, truly crispy, singed base with a thin crust. But when it’s on, the special grandma pie—thick with vodka sauce on a focaccia-like base—is a standout. For those coming from central London, Vincenzo’s will be a bit of a schlep but combine with a visit to Gracey’s for the ultimate road trip." - rianne shlebak

Are These London Restaurants Worth The Hype?

"The Verdict: This homage to NYC-style pizza is putting Bushey on the map—for good reason. Vincenzo’s feels like it fell out of a movie set based in NYC and landed on Bushey’s high street. An oil painting of Paulie Walnuts hangs on the wall and beside it a photo of the oven from Lombardi’s in New York. The regular pizzas are rolled ludicrously thin, and the slices have no problem holding their own. But when it's on, the special grandma pie—thick with vodka sauce on a focaccia-like base—is a standout." - sinead cranna, rianne shlebak, jake missing

Vincenzo's Pizza - Review - Bushey - London - The Infatuation

"Pizza is often seen as a convenience food but, for those coming from central London, Vincenzo’s will be a bit of a schlep. Trust us when we say, it’s worth it. This homage to NYC-style pizza is a matchbox-sized room on Bushey's high street that has a couple of walk-in only tables, a suntrap bench, and a whole lot of eager takeaway customers. An oil painting of Paulie Walnuts hangs on the wall and beside it a photo of the oven from Lombardi’s in New York. Although what’s coming out the oven here is nothing like that tourist hot spot. The regular pies are rolled ludicrously thin to ensure an even, truly crispy, singed base with a thin crust. These slices have no problem holding their own. And, when it's on, the special grandma pie—thick with vodka sauce on a focaccia-like base—is a standout. In fact, it’s all so good that we’d be interested to know what our New York colleagues think. Vincenzo’s clearly takes some inspiration from legendary slices like Joe’s and L’Industrie. But it’s also doing its own thing. So, if you want serious NYC-style pizza you’re gonna have to leave London—it’s just not as far as you think. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch Pause Unmute" - Jake Missing

The best pizza I have ever had! Having traveled around Italy and trying many top rated spots in the uk Vincenzo’s pizza was elite! I tried the pepperoni one with chilli honey drizzle was perfection! The crispy crust with the beautiful tangy sweet marinara sauce. You have to pre order especially on weekends as they sell out. There is option for Halal pepperoni topping available and small seating available when placing your order if you leave in notes that you will be seating in on your collection time. Great service from all the staff and the owner himself! 5*****

I always wondered if I would get a taste of NY with pizza here in the UK. When I bit into Vincenzo’s Margherita it took me back there! Quality pizza beautiful sauce incredible dough, NY style but still has its own twist to create an overall incredible pie!

Managed to walk in and order a takeaway to have in the park. While we waited for the pizza they had many call in orders and on their website there was a notice informing you it’s best to call ahead. We weren’t planning to eat in bushey we had stopped by for the yarn shop Mavis. We got a 18 inch margarita to share. The staff were kind and helpful and the pizza came pretty quick. It was fantastic with a crispy base and French tomato sauce and flavourful cheese. There were two things that I personally think show a top quality pizza, the Parmesan on top and the fact that they put the basil in after cooking. When heated basil can become bitter which can really hinder the joy of a pizza. I would say that most of their pizzas seem to include meat but I think it would be possible to ask for changes since they are made fresh. I would recommend and will be coming back. I am happy to a small business doing so well!

Very tasty and authentic pizza, crispy base and good quality toppings. We ordered Fun Gi; Pepperoni Pesto and Raging Hog and the are all good. We shall try different ones next time. Staff are very friendly and cosy space to eat in. We had a walk nearby and nice views.

We have been to a lot of Pizza places but there are none like Vincenzo! I am not usually a crust eater but the crust was gone within seconds for this pizza. We absolutely loved the fresh tomato base and the wonderful service 10/10 for everything and will be back

Easy to pre order online. Choose your time slot. I collected in the 5 minute window slot and the pizzas were ready on time. Staff were friendly and inviting. 2 small tables available for eating in. Limited public street parking outside. No Dips and sauces included with pizzas - these are chargeable on top. Pizzas were decent and the left over still tasted great the next day. Worth a try if in the area. Probably the best you can get in the bushey/watford/stanmore region.

The staff are spectacular - super fun and friendly, playing total bangers on the stereo too. Definitely 100% do not forget to RING AT 2PM and secure your pizza as they literally sell out pretty much instantly. Loved the place, tiny and casual - and a great dough. Recommend the hot honey mo'fo.
