Atlanta Is Finally Selling Local Georgia Wine | Eater Atlanta

"An independent Decatur wine shop opened by Madeline Long and Sam Pilch that focuses on organic and sustainably farmed bottles and on stocking locally made Georgia wines—one of the few independently owned shops in the city to do so. The owners already sell local sourdough crackers, honey and ceramics and intentionally extended that local-curation approach to wine after customer interest and conversations sparked by coverage of Georgia wine availability. The shop recently brought in three wines from a North Georgia producer—a Marsanne skin-contact white, a chardonnay pet‑nat bubbly, and a red made from the lomanto hybrid—each priced at about $30, positioning itself as a place to try modern, natural local wines that can be hard to find elsewhere." - Henna Bakshi

I adore this place! Sam and Madeline have created such a beautiful space with incredible wines! Their passion for wine is palpable, this Thursday wine tastings are so fun and the monthly wine club is an incredible deal. I’ve loved every wine I’ve ever purchased from here! Oh and Lucy the cat is an icon

This is more than just a wine store. This is the neighborhood wine shop out of a movie. The wines are all super interesting and all with a story that the owners can tell you. The owners are incredibly knowledgeable and go right with my prompts of “what goes with fried chicken and tomato sandwiches” or “this is a social setting with dynamics X, Y, and Z.” The prices are also very reasonable for the quality and experience. Cannot recommend enough!

Decatur’s newest wine store is beautiful with a great selection of unique wines & snacks. The owners are very friendly and really seem to know their stuff. The owner even helped make a few of the wines they sell! I tried one of the white blends they sell and definitely will be going back to check out the rest of their offerings.

Thank you Madeline!! I had no idea what I was walking into, but your beautiful display of natural wines, and extensive knowledge really left me awestruck. You picked out the perfect bottle without me even knowing what I wanted 🙌. It literally tasted exactly how you described it, and it was the perfect price point. Her and her husband Sam, have all kinds of bottles, and she really knows her stuff. It’s like walking into a museum of wine! I can’t say enough good things. Thank you for taking the time to help my sister and I, it was a treat stopping in. We’ll definitely be back again soon!

Genuinely the only place I get wine since my partner and I stumbled upon the shop. You want something classic? They have it ✔️ Want something weird and out of pocket? They definitely have it ✔️ Bonus: this shop is incredibly budget friendly without needing to sacrifice taste. Both owners are incredibly knowledgeable + are always happy to help. Vine Fine Wine is a neighborhood gem. My husband and I are admittedly not the most wine savvy folks, but the owners Sam and Maddy are always incredibly helpful and kind. We enjoy their tastings and affordable wine club. Run don’t walk!
