The Hottest Restaurants in Denver Right Now, Summer 2024

"A classic Colorado brewpub if ever there was one — complete with gently hippie vibes and, of course, house beers — this Uptown standby had its fans, well, standing by for more than four years following its closure at the beginning of the pandemic. But it’s finally picking up more or less where it left off: While the reopening menu is a bit more limited than it used to be, it will gradually expand, and in the meantime, wings and burgers more than do the trick alongside pints of Soul Flower Saison or Blackberry Wheat Ale." - Ruth Tobias, Eater Staff

Nine Places to Eat, Drink, and Play Games This Summer | Eater Denver

"Located Uptown just a few blocks from City Park, this mellow pub and brewery feels like walking into a friend’s hippy living room. The eatery hosts a menu filled with homey American grub from burgers and burritos to sandwiches and salads. The bookshelves scattered around the restaurant hold an eclectic mix of both new and nostalgic board and card games. And with an extensive list of house and Colorado brews, it’s the perfect place to sit, stay, and play a while." - Nisa Sedaghat

We were on the way to get a quick lunch we could take down at The zoo. I can't speak much to the service since it was takeout but the vibe of the place and the food were on point! The inside set up front to back really reminded me of the look of Mountain Sun brewing in Boulder with its wooden booths, laid back vibes and a place for live music. The food was awesome plain and simple. We ordered the burger which we were able to customize. This is important for us since my wife is trying to do what she can to avoid dairy while still having a good time. As a bonus we ordered the sweet chili wings were sweet (but not overly), massive and juicy and paired perfectly with their vegan ranch

Spent the most lovely afternoon with a friend on the patio. The staff is friendly and engaging, food was generously portioned and delicious. Beer was great, they helped my friend pick the perfect IPA. They now take credit cards so that is an added bonus.

We were visiting Denver with the whole family (grandparents, ourselves, my brother, and our 3 kids) and wanted to have a few drinks and snacks in a spot that was walkable from our B&B. This place hit the spot. The kids and I played cornhole for quite a while, and we had great drinks and food. Service was friendly and on point. We had french fries, burgers, and pizza and all were delicious. Will gladly come back to eat and drink here. Also, the marquee sign out front is great.

Google
Love Vine Street! Their "late" happy hour is such a good deal and the food, staff and vibe is always great. We had a little miscommunication on an order during a busy Friday night and the item came out late, but they were kind enough to take it off the bill and apologize.

Google
The service and atmosphere are phenomenal. Vine Street has the best wings and best fries in Denver, and great sandwiches and salads. That being said, their other Mountain Sun locations have other items that are better than the pizza that is offered at Vine Street. Please ditch the pizzas and bring back the menu you had before COVID….we need the nachos, the burritos and the grilled cheese sandwich!

Google
So glad they re-opened in Denver instead of us trekking up all the way to Boulder and Mountain Sun Pub & Brewing (although those location is fantastic, too!). Expect the same, great staff and friendly service (some of their veteran staff in Boulder have come over to help build the team here), even when it is super busy (it was for us at 5:00pm on a Sunday). The menu is mostly the same -- all excellent food choices / appetizers, surprisingly amazing burgers, and stand-out house made chips. The jumbo wings are indeed jumbo. For IPA lovers, there is a great selection as well that mirrors the other locations. When we had to wait 40 minutes for our seating, and our food took longer than expected to come out (like...15 minutes), our waiter was so kind to comp our first round of beers. We honestly barely noticed the wait, but that was such a nice touch. If you want a great neighborhood joint with good local beer and bar food, there are few better options!

Google
I absolutely adore this establishment and frequent it regularly. Food and beer are unmatched. That said, I’ve never been here when it’s fully staffed. Beer taking 10-15 minutes is the norm whether it’s peak Saturday or a seemingly slow Monday.

Marguerite Juenemann

Google
Vine St Pub is a very easy place to frequent. Good food, great service, free street parking and good folks, all around. From a Thursday Music Night stage perspective, the audiences are welcoming, loud at times which is hard to perform through, but most seem to enjoy hearing a live band, even if it's not always their jam. No cover is a public's bonus these days. Keep supporting them! They keep supporting Us musicians which is beautiful.

Yelp
I think they have the best burgers. Friendly, accepting atmosphere with great vibes for a good time.

Yelp
I am extremely happy that this location has reopened! When I lived in Boulder, I would frequent the Mountain Sun Pub location often as it is a great low key spot with great burgers and beer! This location did not disappoint! Despite being in its third week of reopening, our server was extremely friendly and our food came out in a reasonable time. The food was really good just like I remembered! I do believe they are working on expanding their menu back to full capacity, but I really hope they bring back their half beef half chorizo burger! The place was very cute, as it adorned retro concert posters, painted walls and air ducts, and other artifacts. I highly recommend going if you are looking for an excellent burger and great beer!

Yelp
Took forever to reopen, and went opening night terrified that our once favorite burger and beer joint would no longer meet our expectations and memory as so many haven't since the pandemic. Super long wait as the place was mobbed. Clearly stretched staff, but they were all smiling and charged up. But the best part? The food was excellent and like we remember, the beer just as tasty! Yes, some odds and ends to be sorted, not at full hours yet, and they say reduced menu which I hope means some favorites (where's the steak sandwich?!) return. Other than using a charge card instead of cash only, it was the same vibe as before and thankfully so! Bravo, Vine St, BRAVO!

Rachel M.

Yelp
Went last night for the first time after the reopening. It was an hour and a half wait but it was worth it! Had the burger and a side salad. Large portions and delicious! Worth going to - especially when the weather is nice so you can sit outside

Keith D.

Yelp
So very happy they are opened again and the service was fantastic! Only disappointment was the wings as they weren't the expected amazing jumbo wings they used to have. We would go to Vine St specifically for the wings, so we were saddened to find they're no longer the same. We will definitely be back but we hope they bring the old wings back!!!

Chris B.

Yelp
Being told stale bread is how crostinis taste like by the owner/manager(?) is a major turn off (the burrata app). Stale bread is stale bread. I'd be willing to bet they've got a hotel pan of pre toasted crostinis that sit on a steam table/heat lamp. The server was the only saving grace of a very mediocre experience.

Yelp
Vine Street might be the most Colorado restaurant I've been to yet. It almost feels as if you're stepping back into yesteryear with the carpet and eclectic wall decor. It's a quintessential neighborhood pub and that deserves some stars in my book. Three of us dined in on a Saturday night and although crowded, the wait was much longer than it should have. Even folks who walked in after us were sat before us. Eventually we snagged a a booth toward the bar. Our server was Fantastic with a capital F. On only her second day serving at Vine Street mind you. She made our experience extremely enjoyable, kudos to you! I landed on the XXX American Pale Ale and the Jumbo Mountain Sun Wings. Talk about a great meal for a chilly evening! The beer was hoppy and had a high ABV for a pale ale. Nothing mind-blowing, but solid nonetheless. The wings are talked about in many reviews, and once I saw them hit a nearby table I already made up my mind. I don't think I've ever been full from an order of 8 wings, lawdy these things are jumbo indeed! Very crispy exterior, and although I ordered their hot wings, I didn't get a whole lot of heat. Very good wings overall, I just think they were hyped up too much. Prices are fair for Denver, but I really can't neglect the whole "cash only" trademark. There's part of me who gets it, having grown up in small business, and seeing how much money the credit card companies take. On the other hand, it's 2019 and convenience is king. I just don't fully understand the reasoning behind it when most of us don't carry cash anymore. 3 stars is A-OK in my book and Vine Street definitely fills a void in the neighborhood pub scene.

Yelp
Have been to Vine Street a few times before, but went during Stout month and it was on another level! I love stouts so if stouts are your thing definitely find your way to Vine Street during the month of February! As always, excellent selection of beers all year round. Sydney was an excellent server, bringing us samples when we were in-between a few different options and offering her menu expertise. If you're curious what to order their fries are AMAZING - the true 'fresh, never frozen' pub fry. I always want to branch out whenever I go for lunch/dinner but always end up with the same thing because it's just that good. The Date Night Burger is drool worthy, poblano peppers, sweet bacon, goat cheese, and dates - Yum! Patio is perfect for those spring/summer/fall nights, and it gets a decent amount of sun, so even if it's not warm out it still feels amazing.

Yelp
These chicken wings are next level delicious . Beer is always super cold , staff very friendly and personable. Highly recommend this eatery for families and young adults. Bring cash !

Yelp
Came here for brunch last weekend and loved everything about this place. My breakfast burrito was delish, my friends biscuits and poblano gravy was awesome, the coffee was great, and the service was fantastic! Cute, friendly atmosphere, and I loved the all the natural light from all the windows. The place is just great, and I'll definitely go back for brunch or lunch! There was a steak sandwich on the menu that I can't wait to try. Update: this morning I had their breakfast sandwich with a side of breakfast potatoes and both were fantastic! I really love the service here. We sat outside because it's FINALLY warming up in Denver, and multiple servers came outside to check on us, greet us, refill our drinks, and really (probably) just get to be outside for a moment :)

Yelp
BLT was dry. I had maybe 1 strip of bacon? Fries were mediocre. I preferred to sit outside because inside felt like I jumped into 1978... It may be their style but it also has an old-time smell. I don't think will be returning.

Yelp
3 or 4.. that's the question. 4 for the menu options and the drink offerings but food is at 2... solid. I guess stick with 3 with good attentive service. burger price was good but that's about it. I love burgers and haven't found too many that I didn't like... wait. let's add one more to the list. passe on burgers (it was definitely lacking flavor) but half spinach solid was good. don't forget, it's cash or check only joint. love the patio seating option!

Yelp
I really wanted to love this place; it's quite quaint. But, for starters, for a brewery, I was very disappointed in their choice of beers. My friend and I tried several, only just to order a simple cocktail instead (and I say "simple," because the only cocktails they could make were the 5 or so listed on the menu; no deviations). I'm a HUGE beer and cocktail girl, so this was a major bummer for me. The food was a miss. The chorizo burger didn't taste like chorizo at all; in fact, my friend and I agreed that it was quite bland (we both got very excited at the sight of a chorizo burger and had ordered the same thing), and definitely not spicy at all. Wouldn't order that again. The service was ok; not necessarily anything to phone home about. But the kicker was the fact that this place not only doesn't have a POS system (a computerized system to help them put in and keep track of orders), they also don't accept credit/debit cards. So, yes, our server lost track of what we had ordered and had to have it clarified, and, yes, my friend and I had to excuse ourselves to go pay a fee to an ATM machine in order to pay for our food. Exciting. After my total experience here, the last two things were the deciding factor on whether or not I'd come back here. Unfortunately, my answer is no; I wouldn't.

Yelp
Vine Street Pub was one of the first bars I visited before I moved to Denver and I had a great feeling when I came here. For one thing, the bartenders and patrons at the bar were super friendly. I remember thinking 'are people always this nice in Denver?' (it turns out I was right). They also were serving up some tasty beer and great tasting food. I enjoyed two of their beers: XXX Pale Ale and Pearl Street Porter. On another visit, I tried the Number One Belgin Trippel which I was also a fan of. I also recommend trying the Spicy Pollo Asada burrito. Not only is it super filling and flavorful but it has a nice spicy kick. These guys are a sister location to Mountain Sun in Boulder and like them, they are cash only. You will definitely get a Colorado feel here - laid back, friendly, no frills atmosphere with great beer. I really can't think of a reason not to come here. I know where I'm going for my next beer.

Yelp
They've been closed forever. Not sure what's going on or if they ever plan to re-open? Covid closures are kinda done by now...

Yelp
I was coaxed in by the numerous pictures of Hot Wings, and several remarks on the subject; I tried aforementioned wings and they were good. With beer even better. But they fall short of "favorite" or "best" status for me. We tried a few menu items that were good and probably better with beer. I think that would be my summary of Vine Street pub--good pub food made better by the beer. Overall, a pleasant experience but here are my tips and takeaways: Bring Cash or Check. They do not take card. They have an ATM. It was just a $1 fee The wings come in two flavors: Sweet hickory bbq and traditional buffalo. They are jumbo and breaded so a meal in themselves. A small order as an appetizer (for 2-3 people) would be perfect prior to a meal. Breaded wings, for me, go really well with beer. The house brewed beer is good , definitely try it. On the beer note, there is a breathalyzer machine in the back. Responsible , but telling that some serious drinking goes on here. Several other aspects of the service were fantastic including "guaranteed perfect" French fries and free pint cards after the meal. I can't promise these as a daily occurrence but as a customer I certainly recognize this as excellent service. Servers were nice and attentive.

Yelp
This is so Colorado. Local brew beer, locally sourced meat, and casual. This is the place to take your friends from out of town or if you just want to hang with the locals. Things to Note: 1) Cash Only or Personal Checks (if you are a local with ID). 2) Lots of their beer on tap. My favorite is the Cold brew Java and Raspberry Wheat. The secret is to mix the two! 3) The food is not fancy. Burgers, Salads, Green Chilli 4) Sometimes, they have live music and it will be loud. 5) Very children friendly, sometimes too much at prime time. If you want to avoid the children like me, go much later. Honestly, the food is ok. Good but not remarkable. Love the date night burger, but too much bread. However, you will never have a bad meal here either. It's solid, local, and friendly.
google avatar

Steven W.

Yelp
A solid choice for some good food and beer. It's in a great location with indoor and outdoor seating and friendly service. The food is decent with a pretty extensive menu to choose from as well as something to wash it down with. Remember-it's cash only here but they do have an ATM in the back in case. Check it out for yourself.

Yelp
Great time here! The service is excellent. Servers all share guests so you have a main one but lots of others swing by to help and drop things off. I got a burger and it was quite good. Sad the options for pickles were only giant spears BUT they were HUGE and the dude gave me three, so that was so nice and awesome for a person that loves pickles. I also got the fries and they were sooo good I ate the crumbs. I got a beer and it wasn't my fav, but glad I tried something local.
google avatar

Shuyun X.

Yelp
1. Cash or check only. Forgot to bring cash and don't have checks on you? They will give you your bill and you just have to mail in your payment later 2. They brew beers. The beer selection looks well rounded but I did not have any. Maybe next time. 3. Team system. Still not quite sure how I feel about the team system. Everyone we came in contact with was extremely nice. With that being said, it did take a few tries to get my water refilled. 4. Burgers = good. The burgers come with chips but my friend and I both subbed (for $1 extra) for fries. 5. Cost - average. Including tip, we spent $25 there for dinner. It's definitely reasonable.

Yelp
I can't say enough good about Vine Street. It was the first restaurant I tried when visiting Denver and now that I've been here for multiple years, it's the restaurant which I keep returning to. One of Mountain Sun Pubs and Breweries multiple locations, this one is in right downtown. It has a patio for the summer and a cozy indoor environment for the winter. It's got its own list of beers, a seasonal from-scratch menu and specials that update often, it remains one of my favorite places to take friends when I want them to have a good time and great food.
google avatar

Brittany C.

Yelp
Vine St is the perfect, comfortable neighborhood pub! We came in with a group of four around 6:30 on a Fri night and were seated quickly. There is a delicious list of beers on tap, many of them brewed in house. You can expect quality pub food and friendly service here - there is a big burger menu and the wings are absolutely amazing!! Trust me.... I'll leave you with this: Order the wings and you won't be disappointed! Note: cash only establishment so come prepared.
google avatar

Claire L.

Yelp
Solid beer selection combined with fresh food offerings that even cater to the health conscious crowd is a winner in my book! Drinks: favorites include FIPA and raspberry wheat. Loved how they just offer you generous pours of samples for you to try before you order! FOOD: kudos to the Vine Street for having healthy and tasty food on the menu that vegetarians like me can enjoy the food here! The tempeh reuben seriously delicious that makes you forget there's no meat in it! The Boom Boom sandwich is my personal favorite. The only minor distraction from the good food is the mediocre white corn chips, which seemed to be an odd pairing to the otherwise delightful sandwiches and the hummus plate. SERVICE: stellar service throughout our group dinner! Our waiter was very attentive and got all our orders correctly and in a timely manner. VERDICT: Vine Street is another fantastic addition to my neighborhood hangout spots in the area...as long as I remember to bring cash!
google avatar

Vic M.

Yelp
Excellent service. Great burgers, sandwiches and excellent home made fries. Large selection of beers on tap. Fair prices.

Yelp
We stopped by around happy hour time, so I was surprised to see the place fairly empty. There's ample room inside and I like that the bar is big enough for me to be able to put my purse up - I hate having to put it on the ground or in the seat next to me. They have a good selection of beer to choose from and our bartender let us try a bunch of samples before we finally settled on the ones we wanted. The bf and I weren't too hungry when we came, but split a bowl of their farro soup, which was really good. If I had been hungrier, I would have ordered more stuff of their menu as they all looked pretty appealing. The only point of complaint is that they only take cash. For a modern day restaurant/brewery that is fairly big, you guys gotta be able to take card. I know you have an ATM onsite, but those ATM fees discourage someone like me from coming here as I never carry cash. Luckily the bf had some cash on hand and the beers were relatively cheap (compared to California anyway), so we were set.
google avatar

Jennifer H.

Yelp
Awesome place. Friendly staff. Sat at bar. Enjoyed a flight and a $2.50 Colorado Kind Ale (special for their 25th anniversary going back to 1993 pricing). Food came out quickly and was delicious. Had the red pepper hummus appetizer. Also enjoyed the junk burger and the date night burger very much. Fries were hand cut and perfect. We were tempted for dessert but were so full.
google avatar

Michelle P.

Yelp
First off, if hipster joints aren't your thing then I would stay away from here. There was a man typing poems for you outside on his typewriter so it was very hipster. Just a heads up. Also, it is cash only. My husband loved his drink but we all thought that the food was just OK. A couple of us ordered "blackened chicken" items but it was just grilled chicken. It didn't taste a bit like blackened chicken. Because of that we aren't clamoring to go back anytime soon. They have a team atmosphere which was really nice. It made sure that people were always checking on you and refilling your drinks, which I really appreciated.

Yelp
What's better than a half day of work AND delish beer? NOTHING. With Ben's uncle, visiting from Wisconsin we decided a lunch out (with craft beer) was a must before seeing the chocolate exhibit at the museum of nature and science. All three of us fell in love with this gem and here's why: FOOD: so good! everything here is super unique and delish. I ordered the steak sandwich, which was filled with fresh grilled steak, arugula, peppers and onions on killer bread. MMM! Ben ordered the fried chicken sandwich, which was fried to perfection, while Pete ordered the Jerusalem plate, featuring all kinds of Mediterranean food. Fresh hummus and pita bread, perfect chicken and more. the plate was heaping and so delicious. ATMOSPHERE: very unique, full of artwork and cozy. we were seated at a booth and felt right at home. Artwork hangs on the walls, floral paintings on the ceiling and the smell of beer! mmm! both Ben and Pete loved it and could easily return. SERVICE: beyond friendly and nice. our server was super patient with us, brought ALL the samples we wanted and suggested some great dishes to try. we sat for over 1.5 hours and didn't feel rushed one bit. PRICES: great for all you get! after 2 rounds of beer samplers, 4 big beers and 3 meals! The only downside? Parking is kind of a pain and the restaurant is CASH only. no need to fret though, they have an atm that only charges $1 :)
google avatar

Mallory C.

Yelp
This place was good, but didn't wow me. I consider the fact that they don't take credit cards to be a huge pain and would definitely deter me from going there spontaneously when there are so many other delicious places that do! The beer list is unique and delicious, and I love the Blackberry Wheat and the Basil Saison (so different!). I had the burrito with green chili, which, once again was good but not anything special. Good service, neat atmosphere. I expected it to be much more divey, and not so much a cool restaurant where a lot of families would be having dinner. If I had some cash to blow I'd come back, but I don't see myself dying to return any time soon (except I do want to try their brunch!)
google avatar

Allie R.

Yelp
I have a few friends that are vegetarian and every time we go out in a group for dinner, vine St is our "go to" spot. They have something for everyone to love. Simply awesome food. Huge buffalo wings! My fav is the buffalo chicken sandwich. This place knows how to cook fires perfectly. They cut them fresh and cook them to the point of being nice and crisp but not overdone. Pair a sandwich and fries with their own raspberry wheat and you have a hell of a meal! Don't forget your check book or cash. Credit cards are not accepted. Luckily they do have an ATM by the restroom.
google avatar

Sharon W.

Yelp
Had lunch here with my family last week and really enjoyed it! My brother lives around the corner and is a frequent visitor, having become acquainted with their other outposts when he lived in Boulder. The weather was delightful, so we opted to sit outside. I was impressed that the menu had plenty of meat free options. My parents both had grilled cheese with bacon and tomato, my brother had the steak sandwich and a beer, and I had a salad that was on the specials menu and contained fried tofu and grilled zucchini. The food was fantastic and we enjoyed lingering at the table after our meal. The service was casual but pleasant. Although my brother picked up the tab, I am dinging them one star for being cash only.
google avatar

Heidi G.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and even better wings!!! Came here on a whim walking around town on a snowy afternoon and just wanted to grab a quick bite. The wings are phenomenal!!! Servers are very friendly... even to an out of towner like me at a very local place. They only accept but there is an ATM in the back. Clean restrooms.
google avatar

Jenn B.

Yelp
All the hipsters grew up and had babies apparently. This place has become a children's playground with beers. If you have kids, it's probably really cool to be able to go have a beer and let your kids run around, but it's so loud with screaming and crying children on a Friday evening that I felt like I was at a Red Robin in the burbs with a McDonalds play area outside. Kids under 4 were completely overrunning the patio with cornhole bags in their mouths, crayons flying everywhere in the main dining area, and mother's staying inside the restaurant trying to comfort their crying children. If you're an adult without a child, I definitely recommend going somewhere else. My friends and I could not get our bill paid fast enough so we could get out of that chaos. Food and service were still solid, though.
google avatar

Greg A.

Yelp
Alright, listen... I'm a country boy, big beard and all country. I was Leary in walking into a Denver pub, not sure what to expect. Now I have to admit... This place has the best customer service and experience I've ever had in my life. No judgement by them, everyone is welcome. Matt was my server, but everyone was friendly. I had ALOTo beer samples, thanks Matt lol. The food was well worth it as well. This place is a must go. Even for kids it's appropriate.
google avatar

Brett M.

Yelp
Love this place. Awesome spot for a beer, some pub food, and/or some vegan/vegetarian grub. The staff is usually very friendly and knowledgeable about the beer, albeit can be a bit kind of rushed service if you come in later closer to close. They also have good bands that play and entertain on the reg. Now, if I can only get them to actually open up again and serve me some beer?
google avatar

Brittney C.

Yelp
Ya know, there's a saying saying if it ain't broke, don't fix it. That's what Vine street has going on here. I have stopped her various times to meet friends and get a quick bite and I absolutely love this place. I'll mention from the jump that it is a cash-only establishment, so make sure you hit your ATM before moseying over. The second to the last time I was here I ordered the buffalo chicken wings. What I loved is that they weren't too salty or too greasy. The flavor was good and they were of good size. I think the ranch that they make is home made. They have a great selection of beers as well. What I also love is that every time I go the service is always great from the servers and bar staff. The hostess can be hit or miss. The one we had the last time my friend and I went didn't greet us or bother moving from the hostess stand when we arrived. We ended up walking to the bar in the back just to be told we couldn't sit there because there was no server. So we had to walk back to the same bland hostess. By this time, there were 2 more parties ahead of ours. But it's cool. I love that they have plenty of seating and in the center of the main room they have some large tables that can seat people community style. You can make some new friends with your neighbors. :) One of my friends and I's favorite things about Vine is the cute gypsy Jazz band, La Pompe Jazz. They play there often and add a nice feel to the environment. I'd say they definitely add class to a hippy place. But the hippy-feel is great too. I will keep coming back to Vine, if not for the good beer, for the music alone. Food: 4 Stars Service: 4 for the servers, 2 for the hostess Atmosphere: 5 Stars La Pompe Jazz: 5 Stars :)

Yelp
Vine Street is my favorite neighborhood go-to. Most importantly Vine St has BY FAR the best wings in Denver. Second, the yoga on Saturday mornings is hugely wonderful. Third, the staff and the smiles on their faces always makes me want to come back. Lastly, the cheese fries.

Yelp
I was excited to find out our group was going to go to Vine St. Pub, frankly just because I love the song, VINE STREET by Randy Newman.. Now on a personal note I think Harry Nilsson version is better, and Van Dyke Parks try at it was pretty good too! Now I bet somebody decorating Vine Street Pub has probably listened to a Van Dyke Parks record or two cause this place is dressed up like a CLASSIC ROCK HANG OUT.. Old psychedelic posters, hippie gear, and dead head stuff! I dig it, but it was probably kinda done in a mediocre way, either go all in or don't in my book. Anyway maybe it was just my mood I was a bit tired and needing to be rejuvenated at this point in my day.. And I got to say.. The light Vine Street beer I ordered helped, also the baskets of fries the table ordered really helped... but the thing that put me back into the groove like a Jerry Garcia solo was my VEGAN RUEBEN, with a side a vegan Chili, chips, and a pickle! The food here is awesome! I loved it, and I really dug how they make you feel special with a little United States flag with your name on it.. I thought it was ultra patriotic and cool. We did have some Canadians at our table as well, and I think it made them feel special about visiting our little country to the south! I think this is a perfect location for a big group to visit. The menu is huge and everyone can easily find something they fancy. The beer was great, the service was top notch and the bathrooms were clean! I might be, "Truckin," back to Vine St. on my next visit to Denver!

Yelp
Great bar located very close to our escape room. Lots of games and delicious beer to try after an hour of puzzle cracking! Extremely friendly staff that help you figure out which brews best suit your tastebuds!

Yelp
Vine Street is a great neighborhood spot with good food and great beer. Service can be hit or miss. You'll really want to come in February when it's Stout Month and they have a bunch of stouts on rotation. It's a specialty and really fun to try all the things they have on tap. As far as food goes, the burger and fries combo is the best standby. I like the date burger, which has (you guessed it) dates on it, as well as goat cheese, jalepenoes and other deliciousness. It sounds weird, but the combo is really good. You'll need to know: this is a cash only establishment. There is an ATM inside, but you'll incur fees most likely, so it's better to come with cash on hand.

Yelp
I want to like this place. My friends often say "meet me at Vine Street!" I've met groups of people who have held an event in the backroom at Vine, but it is always an average experience. Service varies between good and bad, every time I go. Beer selections are fine. But I just don't get excited to go here. Even this review I'm writing is just meh.

Yelp
Verdict: Good food decent beer Atmosphere / decor - 4 Service - 4 Food - 4 Value - 4 Overall 4 I didn't like any of the beers but my bf found a few he really liked. I got a burger which was really good; I got it without the bun and it was very flavorful. The fries were 8/10 (a good find). My boyfriend got the steak sandwich and didn't like it. He said the meat was tough and not in cutlets (I.e. a straight piece of cooked skirt steak). I would recommend going for a burger and fries!

Yelp
My food was good, but other people's food in our party arrived cold and had to go back, they were out of wings (which they are known for) by 6:30 pm :( We had a very interesting experience with Ben who waited on us. We asked for silverware/napkins to eat our shared appetizers and he literally questioned us on why we needed silverware???? He looked at us like we were crazy. WTF? Really weird. He gave us a hard time and said they only give silverware for the dinner portion. We insisted on having silverware to eat with and he finally gave it up reluctantly after lecturing us. He then rationed it & didn't bother to give us enough settings so everyone at the table would have silverware and napkins. Maybe we were supposed to bring our own, but we didn't get the memo. It was busy, but I have been here many times when it was a lot more packed. Ben was not attentive, never saw him again after he brought our food, never asked if we wanted another round of drinks, so we had to tap the hostess and other waiters through out dinner and our bday desert to get the basics. I haven't been here in awhile so hoping this was just a bad night.

Yelp
Came here after a trip to the museum. The patio was inviting and luckily we snagged a good spot on the street. This is a parallel parking situation, no lot, standard for this area. We were greeted quickly and started with a couple beers. I got the blackberry wheat which was very good, perfect notes of fruit without being overpowering. This brewery has other locations, I had been to one in Boulder which looks pretty similar and filled with hippie/Colorado vibes. Its nice to find a brewery which also has good food. I got a buffalo chicken sandwich, happy to find out it was grilled chicken, not fried. Awesome flavor. Prices are great too. Really not a fan of the antiquated cash only thing. It means no credit card points but at least the ATM only costs $1.

Yelp
For price and for service!!! The bartender was so nice, letting my bf and I try everything in TWO separate tasting glasses (not just one for us to share). He gave us recommendations and made us feel so welcome. It's CASH ONLY or CHECK. Or you can pay with karma- aka you get your bill + envelope and send in your payment when you can. The nitro moloko and the FYIPA were delicious. We were very happy. Also, each beer was $4 & $5.5. These beers weren't included in their happy hour, but we didn't even care!! Those were happy hour prices to us :) Highly recommend. Nice patio seating too!

Yelp
Awesome neighborhood spot doing everything right. Great food at a fair price, excellent beer selection, and friendly, perfectly attentive service. The atmosphere is very casual, making it a great place to catch up with friends. I don't have kids, but very kid friendly for sure and several families were in. One word of warning - they are cash only. If you forget, there is an ATM in the back.

Yelp
We were looking for an early dinner and found this place online. Fantastic grilled cheese and a quesadilla. Fries were really good! Only had their popular ipa (can't remember the name) but it was good. The service was great. We let them know we were in a hurry (catch a flight) and the food came out quick. It was pouring out and they came by with free beers for everyone. Very cool! Definitely would go back next time we are in Denver.

Yelp
Food was great. Savory and not too much. Cash only and checks was unexpected but I didn't do much research before I got here. Overall great. I'd def recommend.

Yelp
We went back another time after being invited by the managers. The experience was better this time with better service, food, and beer selections. I tried a raspberry beer that was not sweet but mostly tart, which is my style lately. I got a smothered chicken burrito that was quite tasty. I think their burritos are better than their sandwiches but that's just my preference. Fries were fresh and tasty this time. Overall a pleasant and tasty experience this time.
