Vineside Wine Bar

This is my favorite wine bar in Astoria! I've been a number of times, and it's always my first recommendation when folks are looking for a place to go. It has a phenomenal and intimate atmosphere, a fairly diverse wine list, and kind, quick service. They partner with local non-profits for events, too, which is always a "plus" in my book! They have a great side room with a large table that'll easily fit a group of 8 or so people, and several little lounge-corners to wind-down on your own or as a pair. I love curling up by the fireplace with a glass of prosecco and a book, or bringing a friend and playing one of the board games on hand. Recently, I was able to make a reservation on an off-day for a small board meeting. We were offered samples while chatting about our potential orders, and I stepped out of my comfort zone, trying a new red! We ordered a handful of glasses and a few of the snack trays, and it was all beautifully arranged. I wish I took more pictures!

My wife and I stopped in here at the end of our day to end a beautiful day in Astoria. Little did we know that we would be making a new friend and found our new favorite place to grab a drink when we're in town. The owner Justin, was beyond personable and made fantastic conversation while we were there, our "stop for a drink" turned into 2.5 hours waaaaaay to easy. This will be a must stop every time were in town, or driving through it. This place rules, thank you Justin for showing us true hospitality!

I’ve never been to such a cool wine bar. The owner was just as cool to match. This whole pier is really historical and even has a little museum of the cannery. Felt like the perfect Oregon spot to spend the evening. Really loved this gem!

My partner and I had a great experience at Vineside! We were staying nearby and came in for a glass of wine and were met with friendly hosts, a cozy fireplace/seating, and boardgames that made it feel more like having a glass of wine in a cozy cabin (in the best way). Our hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming and made the experience truly lovely. Will definitely be stopping in again next time we are in Astoria!

We are in Astoria for just a couple of days and stopped by this evening. Justin and Jen are The BEST!!! Enjoyed the wine, cider, and charcuterie. Everything was amazing and they are so personable and friendly. 10 out of 10 recommend. If we ever make it back out this way, we will 100% stop back by.

What a true gem of a wine bar in Seaside! I have been going to Seaside for 30+ years and I've never been more excited to find a place as I did walking into this absolutely beautiful tasting room! Walking down the long hall off of the main drag, I really didn't know what to expect... I walked in & I was a giddy kid! This super sweet mom & daughter ran business is top notch with everything from the stunning furnishing's (I love the fire pit outside & the boxwood walls w/ the velvet furniture), decadent wines & snacks, but even just as amazing hospitality from both ladies & their sweet pupper, Willow! <3 My friend and I brought our husband's, then we sent them off & stayed for hours, like a true girl's day out, chatting the Owner's ears off, as if we had all been friends for year's (thanks ladies!)! I couldn't recommend a place more in the area! I thought I was visiting a swanky Seattle bar! Gorgeous work done here, such yummy wines & bread and even more gorgeous personalities fill this space with its management! Thank you so much ladies for being the absolute highlight to our stay! We will see you again! <3

My husband and I visited the Vineside for happy hour the other night for a quick date and it was such a delight! We had a flight of red wine and the charcuterie board - everything was delicious and you could tell how much they love and know their wine. Wonderful service and will definitely visit again next time we are in town!

What a great experience!! They had quite an extensive list of wines and some small snack options. Cute and unique seating areas (couches, tallest, booths, etc) and the service and interactions with staff were genuine and kind. Could not recommend enough!!

A great little wine bar on the east end of Astoria with a nice mix of local and international wines (go for the Côtes du Rhône.) Maddy and Katie are fantastic behind the bar and make you feel at home. Consider it a "must do" if staying at either of the hotels in walking distance.

Such a cute little wine bar, amazing service. They even gave us a saki mimosa for our anniversary celebration. Come support this cute little wine bar, you won't be disappointed Amazing food and wine. They even have Games which was a huge plus for us.

Live music, wonderful friendly service and such a welcoming atmosphere. The wine flight was unique with many great flavors. Based on my flight I feel the facilities has a great variety. Beer and cider also available. Dog friendly. You should hit it up!

Great atmosphere, very good wine selection. We sat outside and enjoyed the fresh air. Service was great.

Loved it! Had a great experience here. The wine list had a good selection of varietals. Alot of local wines from OR & WA and some good imports too. We each had a flight of 4, which was ideal since we couldn't decide. Then we had a glass of our favorite. We munched on their fig & prosciutto flatbread, yummy! The bar has a very cozy feeling, we sat there for hours and had such friendly service from Katie and the other lady working, we will be sure to come back next time we're in town.

Very cute and comfortable atmosphere; very friendly service. This is a great place to come and relax! We ordered a flight of Oregon wines to sample: four wines, good pours, immediate delivery. I had to ask for water but it came quickly. Room for improvement: We ordered a cheese plate that never came but were not charged for it. This place is super new, so I imagine it just got lost in the shuffle.

Perfect afternoon sipping wine and having a few bites. We were in town for cannon beach and my husband had this place as a post beach stop. They were very accommodating in giving us a taste of exactly what we like, which is mostly deep, full bodied red wines with a splash of dry rose. We liked every wine we tried. Learned today that I like rose more than I thought. Must try the Gemini vineyards rose of Pinot noir. I'm convinced that most red wine drinkers (aka us) would like it. So refreshing and not astringent... the prettiest color too. We also had the Pinot noir in red wine form and it was just delicious. For food we tried the salmon plate and olives. Enjoyed both. Our dog very much appreciated the salmon scraps :) Great, sunny afternoon on the patio which was much needed after a few chilly days

My favorite new spot in Seaside! Great selections of wine, great cheese plates and other small plates bites, and welcoming ambiance!! Be ready to be welcomed by one the owners personally and enjoy some of your favorite wines as well as be introduced to something new fun wines to entice your palate!!

And Pier 39 keeps getting better! This spot just had its grand opening this past weekend and I went with a couple of friends. The place has a cozy ambience which would be perfect for a date or meeting up with friends. The owners are lovely and welcoming! They are very knowledgeable about wine and seemed concerned about delivering the perfect wine for my palate. Great job Ladies...You made a great impression and I will definitely be back!

The best place in town, no joke. Classes, wine, great vibe, stays open later than almost anywhere else. Delicious adult lunchables (jk it's cheese and meat boards) and wines from around the world. Everything tastes great but nothing beats the vibe tbh. Could hang all day.

Delicious wine, great recommendations, beautiful patio, and even a PUPPY! Had a Bordeaux Blanc... love it when places like this introduce me to something new! They let me taste a few too before ordering. Class act :-)

Great place to escape the hustle and bustle of downtown Seaside. We were looking for some light bites and a little relaxing with a glass of wine and found it. We had the smoked salmon platter and the cheese platter with some warm bread. All of it was really yummy. The woman who served us was really friendly also....had a great time.

Great selection of wine and snacks. Excellent customer service. The outdoor patio is amazing and indoors is cute and cozy. We will definitely be back!

Stopped in briefly while waiting for a table at Nonni's. Owner was very nice and professional. Attractive casual setting. They use a Coravin to do the pours. Enjoyed glasses of a Paso Robles Ancient Peaks red blend.

Beautiful, relaxing place with the perfect atmosphere & music to forget it all for just a little while, read, & enjoy a tasty bottle of wine. Already looking forward to my next visit!

Delicious! We shared a small charcuterie plate with a lovely variety of meals, cheeses, olives and fig spread. Tried one of the wines on special for happy hour - also delicious. Very friendly and efficient service. A lovely spot overall.

Very cozy space and a friendly atmosphere with a nice patio. Daily happy hour from 4-7 save two bucks on select glasses of wine. On wine Wednesdays you get 20% off bottles!!!

My friend and I stopped through to grab a glass of wine on our spontaneous trip to the coast. We found this cute wine bar that looked like it had just opened. Our service was lovely & the lady who waited on us was so friendly. The place is super cute & cozy! I would definitely come back again

A quaint wine bar tucked away in the busy town of Seaside! Beautiful interior and more importantly delicious vino. Our server was a very lovely and knowledgeable sweetheart! If you're a wine drinker or not, this chill vibe vino cafe is a must!

Great new spot on the pier. Nice selection of wines, and great happy hour deals. For food - freshly baked bread and smoked salmon are tasty! Very quaint with great service!

Popped in while on an Oregon coast trip. Friendly and welcoming staff with a great selection of wines and charcuterie plates. Had a wine flight and a glass of rose. Would recommend! I enjoyed the aesthetic of the place as well.

We found the Vineside Wine Bar when walking down the west side of Broadway Ave. They are located inside a building which was previously a hotel - down the hall on the left side. They have a small outside service area you can use as well as the main room with tables and the wine bar. The owner and her daughters work the place and they are very nice and knowledgeable about the wines on their list. We had a nice Pinot Noir which we enjoyed very much. We are planning to come back soon and start working our way through their list (we are locals). By the way, they have their own parking behind the place that you can access from Ave A-look for 737 bldg signs just before the Ace signs. Great little gem in Seaside.

A gem of a place on the pier. Soft light, cozy seating, and friendly owners! The wine selection is great and the food delicious. Classy little joint with none of the pretentiousness of many wine places. Love it!

Cozy, well appointed little wine bar. Friendly staff and cute dog. My wife and I had 2 Mimosas and shared some bread w/ oil and vinegar. Not a generous pour on the wine and a little skimpy on the oil/ vinegar. Final tab... $36 before tip!! We won't be regulars.

A hidden gem of Seaside! Amazing selection of wine, great snacks and cute ambiance. Autumn, the owner, has curated a great wine selection. I didn't take any pictures because we were enjoying our visit! We will be back!!

Seaside keeps staying relevant. This is a gem. We loved the sophisticated interior, the outdoor seating option, the large wine menu, a choice of small plates, and an ambience that allows for conversation, not to mention, it's near the middle of downtown!
