Vineyard Gate has been an honest wine trailblazer in Millbrae for over 20 years. Their frequently updated selections are delicious and alive. I started as a wine club member a few years ago. The more than affordable club includes two bottles a month, discounts for purchases, and insightful notes about producers. Alex pours vast knowledge of the trade into his original summaries. You won’t find a better club or wine selection anywhere!

Great wine shop that carries a tasty selection of organic and natural wines. The owner is well versed in wine and sake, and he seems to personally know many winemakers he represents, or at the very least the winemakers' stories behind the bottles. Highly recommended!

Alex has been promoting and selling natural wine longer than many of today's natural wine fans have been alive! Passionate, knowledgeable, has a great shop for browsing and tasting, and a bargain 2-bottle per month wine club which always pleases and often surprises.

Great wine/sake selection, canned fish and olive oil. Alex is very friendly and is very knowledgeable about everything he stocks. You can get Togo from wonderful Chinese and come here to drink wine with your food!

Just picked up my wine club order. You can call and place a pick-up order. Owner makes amazing suggestions. He carries a wonderfully curated collection or organic and natural wines. I highly recommend this local shop! Treat yourself and others :)

Alex, the owner-proprietor, is a joy to chat with and pairs his wine to a tee. He suggested a lovely reisling to accompany my crab dinner and it was perfectly crisp and refreshing. What a gem in Millbrae and the greater Peninsula. Be sure to check out the food pop ups that happen often too!

I bought a sake bottle and opened it the day after. However the sake already turned sour. I contacted the store owner. Unfortunately, they never replied.

Such a friendly and passionate team! Everyone is incredibly knowledgable and ready to share great conversations on the varieties. Exquisite selection of wine as well. You won’t leave disappointed.
