We’ve been to this place several times in the past and always enjoyed it, but our latest experience was honestly terrible. Our server was clearly underage and still served us wine which, to be clear, is illegal in Virginia if you're under 21. That alone was incredibly unprofessional and concerning. He also seemed impatient from the start, like he didn’t really want to be there. We felt rushed while ordering, and any questions we had were met with short, uninterested answers. It just created an uncomfortable atmosphere. He brought out our food at uneven times, with the first plate coming out 10 min before the last at the table (we were a party of 5). The food, which used to be one of the highlights here, was also a letdown this time. Dishes lacked the flavor and quality we were used to, and it felt like corners were being cut in both the kitchen and the front of house. Honestly, this place used to be solid, but the lack of attention to staff training and food quality is starting to show. If they want to keep regulars coming back, they seriously need to hire better-trained, more professional servers and get back to putting care into their food.

The food and service was extraordinary . I can’t believe this was my first time dining here. We both tried seafood dishes and I have to say it was Delicious! I will be returning especially for the garlic knots and the in house made Tiramisu

Over 2 visits, I had the arancini, pasta siciliano, and the low-carb penne primavera. I felt both the arancini and pasta siciliano were overcooked; the arancini were hard, while the pasta was very soft. I think the arancini would've been improved greatly by having a bit of mozzarella inside and less time in the fryer. The penne primavera on my second visit was lovely, with the pasta cooked al dente accompanied by a nice mix of veggies and mushrooms.

Does not honor reservations. Understaffed. Incompetent management. Mistreated waitstaff. First off, my girlfriend and I love the food here and the wait staff are wonderful. We have been frequent customers here since stumbling on it in October of '21. I am sad to say tonight may have been our last time eating here. While the wait staff is superb, they are far too busy making up for management’s incompetence to adequately serve their customers. They are severely understaffed and have been for some time, the wait team seems to change at least as frequently as the seasons, further hinting at poor management. On multiple occasions we’ve made reservations just to wait to be seated after people who admittedly did not reserve places. After being seated we did not receive menus and were left unattended for 25+ minutes. On two occasions, after being seated we did not receive our meal until at least an hour after seating. Tonight our reservation was for 6:15, we arrived at 5:55 and although seated and attended, by 7:30 we hadn’t even received our drinks (three sweet teas). The only Entree received was the buttered spaghetti noodles for my daughter, which they still managed to get wrong because they served them with hot sauce on the side. At 7:30 we asked for the check, the nervous and overwhelmed young server was sent to apologize in lieu of the grossly incompetent management. The fact that they put that responsibility on that young man tells me everything I need to know about the people who run that place. Their problems would be reduced if they went to reservations only. They accept far more customers than they are equipped/staffed to handle. They blamed their wait staff instead of reducing customer load.

This place has got great food and wine. They also have complimentary garlic bread twists and salad which are pretty good (forgot to capture those). We had the Salmon Piccata and Penne Ala Vodka. Both items were spot on. The moscato was great too (again, forgot to take picture of the wine). The server was swift and informative and that added to the experience. I would love to visit again.

OMG!!! How are these reviews so high. Ordered the fried calamari...flavorless. The Margherita pizza...no words to describe how terrible it was and the ravioli which I have had better out of a can. I will stick to my normal place.

Had a late dinner. I had the Penne Siciliano for my entree and the Tiramisu with Espresso for desert. The garlic knots were ok but could have been warmer. I really enjoyed the Penne Siciliano (I liked the sausage in it.). The Tiramisu was over the top; a great finish to the meal. The place had a good crowd this evening and could have used a extra person or two on wait staff; the service could have been a little faster.

Solid Italian, locally sourced seafood, cosy dining room with tablecloths, bustling festive atmosphere. Good wine list at very reasonable prices. Worth a drive across town!
