Very disappointing experience for what is supposed to be a 5 star hotel.
We attended the Christmas dinner, which was far below the quality, execution, and service level one would reasonably expect from a hotel of this category, especially for a premium, pre-booked holiday meal.
After the dinner, we politely asked to cancel the Christmas lunch (€300 for 2 adults and 2 children) scheduled for the next day, as we did not want to repeat the experience. Despite raising our concerns immediately and in good faith, staff refused any flexibility, hiding behind a rigid cancellation policy rather than taking responsibility for the poor quality delivered.
Strict policy enforcement after a substandard experience is not 5 star hospitality. The lack of accountability and customer care was as disappointing as the food itself.
The room design is also deeply flawed and uncomfortable. The toilet has no door, offering no privacy at all, which is unacceptable in any hotel, let alone a 5 star one. In addition, mirrors are placed everywhere in a way that feels excessive and disorienting, making it genuinely difficult to orient yourself in the space. Instead of feeling elegant or modern, the room feels poorly thought out and impractical.
Service wise, there is a clear lack of attentiveness, flexibility, and basic customer care. At no point did we feel listened to or valued as guests. This hotel may have the price tag of a 5 star property, but it completely fails to deliver the service mindset that defines one.
