The Best Italian Restaurants in São Paulo

"Silvia and Lamberto Percussi's establishment—with Silvia leading the kitchen and Lamberto overseeing the dining room and wine list—reached its 40-year milestone, reaffirming its importance in Brazil’s food and wine culture. Founded in 1985 as a small wine shop, the restaurant evolved into a reference for merging exquisite dishes with the perfect pairing. In its new location, it maintains the cozy ambiance and classic Italian cuisine that earned its fame. Fresh pasta specialties shine, such as the flawlessly textured tonnarelli alla carbonara, the ossobuco in a rich and silky sauce, and the traditionally served tiramisu. The wine list, boasting over 300 labels, is a spectacle in itself—a reflection of Lamberto’s passion and rigor, one of the country's most respected sommeliers." - The MICHELIN Guide

Vinheria Percussi

"This family-run Italian restaurant was the precursor to the "enogastronomia" movement in Brazil. It opened its doors in 1985 as a wine boutique, and the kitchen followed soon after, serving traditional Italian dishes. Keep an eye out for the special truffle and wild mushroom menu which appears several times a year and features outstanding flavours. The wine boutique, which is still open next door to the restaurant, offers an impressive selection of bottels." - Michelin Inspector

Incredible setting. Food is excellent and pasta reminds the consistence and delicacy of what you will taste in Emiglia Romana. Service is well appointed and atmosphere is very intimate and artsy - beautiful panel in the wall in the main salon.

A big restaurant with a classic italian flare not cheap. good wine list, we had a Slovenian wine. pudding was the best. starter was the ovo perfecto which lacked punch. the osobucco was tasty but not wowing. Would go back but probably stick to the pasta side. however the cheesecake is amazing

Excellent service and delicious food. The wine menu is good with affordable and hight end options. The atmosphere is more classic. The waiters are friendly and attentive. The price is a bit high though.

Definitely worth paying them a visit! Vinheria Percussi is renowned for its genuine Italian cuisine and exceptional service. Established in 1985, it was one of the pioneers of enogastronomy in the city, offering a carefully curated wine list to complement its dishes. The restaurant has received accolades from the Michelin Guide, reflecting its high standards and commitment to quality. We always appreciate the warm atmosphere and attentive staff, making it a favorite destination for both casual meals and special occasions.

Percussi has reopened in a new address. Food and wine maintain the high quality of the original restaurant, and the new location has a cooler vibe, is more casual and better value. I am delighted that the Cacio e Pepe is still on the menu as well as the Filetto di Manzo al Gorgonzola. Will definitely return.

One of my favorite Italian restaurants in São Paulo!

Lovely setting, but I personally didn't think the food was worth the expensive price. The lasagna was very bland and the tortellini di parma was tasty but came in a very small portion. The staff was very insightful though.
