"The primary draw here is the nearly 100 wines and 20 craft beers on offer, which are complemented with a mishmash of mains and handhelds that include flatbreads, sandwiches, pizza, pasta, and quesadillas. Flavor combinations in dishes like the masala rose pasta are engaging enough to keep your palate piqued, though the simpler lemon rosemary chicken panini is a solid choice too." - Tiffany Leigh

Don't know why there are any bad reviews here; QR code and website were easy to use and fairly intuitive. the service was friendly, prompt & professional, there was a great selection of wine and other drinks, nice selection of food. I had the Brie & Smoked Bacon sandwich and it was delightful. Atmosphere about as good as can get in an airport. Nice and bright near the windows, lots of charging per seating and prices on par with airport food.

Totally agree with all the previous positive comments. After a disastrously late cancelled flight the previous night we were able to use the AIR CANADA vouchers in Terminal 1 and this was the nicest looking venue at the 70's gate area. Not only was the service excellent but the food was unexpectedly excellent from what appeared to be such a small preparation area. The charcuterie board was fresh and delicious.

Poor service and very poor food. Salmon wasn't fresh. You pay in advance and tip in advance. So there is no incentive for the staff to treat you well. Was told twice to use the QR code on the table to order. It takes you to a 404 page ( not found) others had the same issue. The staff were not helpful and provided a poor service. Dropping off water and plates without even saying anything. Once food was dropped off never returned to the table to tidy up or ask if anything was required. I should have gone to Subway and saved $60. Avoid or just go here for drinks unless you like unfresh food. The only good thing was double universal plug sockets on each table.

Vinifera Terminal 1 Toronto Pearson. Had the beer and wings combo with decent BBQ sauce. Ok not fine dining but honestly not too shabby for 18.99. 1 can of Rickhard’s Red and a reasonable size food portion for one person. Plus there is just something about sitting at an airport bar waiting for Europe flight and people watching that is just so intrinsically satisfying and makes up for lack of reasonable dining options. There IS a braised brussel sprouts salad (standalone no drink combo) but for the sake of everyone on the flight I don’t think I will try that even though it IS the most intriguing thing on the menu 😂😂 Maybe I will have another beer 😉

You have to use a QR code to order. And we have done that before - so no problem…. Or so we thought … it turned out to be impossible. After trying both our phones without any luck, I went to the register so I could order and pay. But… you cannot do that … have to use the QR code. Then they told me that we should be on the WiFi… so we both did that. Still no luck. While fighting to get this going, two other couples left because they could not make it work. Finally a lady/server came by and said we could use an IPad the servers have… and that worked… So we got a very expensive drink and glass of wine after 15 minutes of trying to make it work. So not only was it almost impossible to order - but at least it was very expensive. The wine was fine, but the April Spritz my wife ordered was totally watered out. Not going there again.

Enjoyed a great breakfast sandwich at Vinifera, thank you so much to the chef Yashpreet, great presentation! Perfectly toasted ciabatta, crunchy (but not too crunchy) bacon, and the potatoes were perfectly seasoned. Made my multiple hour layover much more enjoyable to have a nice meal as I watch the planes taxi and come and go. Highly recommend.

Google
Friendly staff. Well appointed seating for digital nomads. Good wine and appetizers. BUT the ordering process needs to modernize. Once the QR code launched the order site was abismal and slow. Time to get tap and go payment installed. We would have left were it not for the staff helping with their tablet.

The Ultimate Bacon Experience – A Culinary Masterpiece by Chef Robert! If you think you’ve had good bacon before, think again! Chef Robert has redefined what it means to serve the PERFECT side of bacon. From the moment it arrived at the table, the aroma alone was enough to make my taste buds dance in anticipation. Each strip was flawlessly cooked—crispy on the edges yet tender enough to melt in your mouth. The balance of smoky richness and savory perfection was simply out of this world. Every bite was like a warm, comforting hug for my stomach, smooth and satisfying in a way that only true culinary artistry can achieve. This wasn’t just bacon—it was an experience. It deserves WAY more than 10 stars because it’s in a league of its own. If you ever get the chance to taste Chef Robert’s bacon, don’t hesitate—just order it. You can thank me later!

Yelp
Don't eat here. It's not cheap and they ship in the food from another part of the airport and warm it up for you. The breakfast burrito was not bad but the sides (potatoes and bacon) were cold. Scrambled eggs were wet, cold, undercooked and needed several minutes of additional reheating by the "chef". Hard pass.

Yelp
We were trying to decide where to eat in Terminal 3 and settled on this place. We were pleasantly surprised, considering the terrible reviews. My husband had the Italian sandwich and I had the pork sandwich. Both were very flavorful and the kettle chips on the side were tasty. Airport food is what it is but I would come back here at YYZ for sure.

Yelp
I know it's the airport and expect simple things like breakfast to be expensive, but where is the quality?! $13 plus tax and tip for a breakfast burrito.. no coffee.. Burrito looked good when it came, only problem was it was cold inside, home fries were cold.. burrito didn't even taste good.. probably wouldn't taste good even if it was warm.. McDonald's breakfast burrito tastes much much better in fla My company had ham and toast, ham was cold..

Yelp
Let me start off by saying- I did not eat anything. I had some time to kill, so I wanted to get some Drinks. Came and sat my self down, I realized that you had to order on the iPad. Maybe that's something they should have sign for- I prefer a glass of wine, and the service was almost immediate. I got the cheapest merlot it was $9 obv not happy hour prices in America, but I'm at an airport so whatever. What I enjoyed the most was the customer service- it was apparent that the employees enjoyed each other's company and cared for their customers. I watched them Take turns to make sure everyone's orders were delivered on time, and customized to the customers request. I can't say much about the quality of the food, but I would be willing to come back here again to try their food.

Yelp
Okay. For starters, this is airport food. (Also to keep in mind, Americans should remember they will probably be paying an extra charge on their cards for an international transaction.) However, it is not nearly as fast as airport food should be. The set up is cool such that everyone is playing on iPads, surfing the Internet, and ordering via the remote station at the table (the iPads). But it's inconvenient for bringing luggage as a lot of it is comprised of really large bar/barstool seating. And of course, the food is all pretty expensive. One of my friends did order a pastry that they had run out of (ordering on the iPad meant that no one told him before he paid though), so a waiter came a good 15-20 minutes later to let us know that they didn't have the pastry and would happily give him something of comparable (even slightly higher) value. They did refund his money when asked, but the overall time before they notified him that his food would not be coming, brought the two beers we did order, and the time to come back with a receipt showing the refund was ridiculous. Probably an hour long meal for two beers and a nonexistent pastry. My expectations weren't high to begin with. It wasn't horrible, but it definitely wasn't pleasant. -- and none of those things are something you want to say.

Yelp
The service was good. You place your order on an iPad and it is brought out to you. The Caesar salad is mediocre and they do not use fresh parmesan. One of their mottos is fresh ingredients. I opted to add chicken for an additional $5.00. The chicken was not even warm. It had a lot of chewy tendon-y pieces I did not eat. The only flavour from the sea breeze was that of the vodka. Skip this as a drink.

Yelp
I should've checked the reviews first. I ordered the chicken tacos. It's supposed to be soft tacos. They grilled the tacos so it was harder than not. It's not quite a tostados though. But whatever I thought. Then I buy into the chicken...I get that people don't want to have raw uncooked chicken, but this was really really cooked. It was tough to be exact. Sigh. Yes it's airport food, but I should've just gotten a sandwich for much cheaper. Funny thing is the soft drink is refilled I was told, so they took away my glass with the promise they'd come back. Still waiting for that refill.

Yelp
They have a nice beet salad available in the to-go section! And lots of space to charge your phone or laptop while getting food. Not the best selection of food here, but it's a nice environment to sit and get work done instead of waiting at your gate. Not much in terms of vegan/vegetarian options, but the to-go area has got some good snacks!

Matthew S.

Yelp
Very limited selection. I ordered a chicken wrap and they brought the drinks but forgot the wrap. When they brought the wrap out finally it was the wrong one. The server spilled my drink on my phone and iPad.

Yelp
Another restaurant addition to the airport. The food is decent. Small quantities but will definitely do for airport food.

Lucille Y.

Yelp
Nice service. Had the pesto pasta with chicken. The pasta was over cooked and the veggies not cooked at all. It a captive hostage situation so they don't have much incentive to do better.

Debbie S.

Yelp
The bartender is a jerk, don't order a double shot drink because they will pour you 1/4th of a shot. Stay away!!

William R.

Yelp
One of the worst airport breakfasts I've ever had. The sausage was so dry it redefined "choke down."

Paul S.

Yelp
This is a restaurant/bar where you order and pay electronically from your seat and the meal is then brought to you. I ordered a meal and glass of wine, and 30 minutes later I had not received anything. So, I approached the waitress who told me to ask the bartender, who insisted they had not received my order. I was OK with that, but this isn't my first rodeo so I knew I would likely see a bill on my credit card statement even though the kitchen said they had not received my order. So I told them all of this and again they insisted because "they had not received my order electronically" so my order must never have gotten through, so I would not be charged. Lo and behold a month later my credit card bill shows up with the meal order from Vinifera. This is proof positive that everything is fine until something screws up and then, you can be guaranteed, that you will get the short end of the stick. Moral of the story is there is a disconnect in their ordering system.

Yelp
Don't eat here. The food is good but there is a server working here who is aggressive, abusive and quite frankly - should not be employed in an airport from a security stand point. My husband and I ate at Vinifera in November 2015 and while our server and the manager made every attempt to apologize profusely for their colleague's behaviour - its left a lasting mark. The server in question loudly indicated that we were just passengers and not customers, therefore should not expect customer service. She called us 'crazy', threatened to call security on us, and stormed off three times when her behaviour was being addressed. To be clear - we didn't complain about the food, our server was great and this person provoked an issue so aggressively that its just not worth it to ever go back here.
