Omg! My new favorite seafood place 😍 The garlic shrimp box was amazing and was more than enough food for me

Stopped here on my way back to NC and listen! This is some of the best food I’ve ever tasted! shrimp nice and crispy and seasoned to perfection, rice was sooo good and the sausage in it took it to another level. The cabbage is so good you can eat it by it’s self and the Turkey neck in it just took me out… y’all please try this place if your in the area 😩

me and my family heard good things about this place and after traveling to the south all we wanted was some good soul food. i have no idea if they are renovating, but the environment was not ideal nor did it look appealing. we tried to order our food (they were take out only, no problem with that) but they were out of every single item that we wanted which was around 6 items and the guy said “we just started the soul food today and i have to go to the store to pick it up”. the menu was already small as it is and it seemed as they weren’t prepared to open. a customer in front of us had received his food, but the guy told the customer last minute that they were only taking cashapp or apple pay because the card reader was down. this overall was just highly unprofessional and you can tell they weren’t prepared. hope to try this place in the future when they actually have the menu ready to serve.

Wanted to try something new in the area, originally the address took us to a U-Haul on the street in front of the business. We called the store,who gave us directions to a parking lot in the cut. Me and my girlfriend ordered she got the garlic butter shrimp box and I got The shrimp poe boy. The po boy was a bit dry but it got the job done. The butter that comes with the sauce tasted like a container or straight grease. The shrimp box looked pretty good but was drowned in butter, the shrimp was under seasoned. Not even 10 minutes after she slightly finished her food my girlfriend threw the entire thing up. Food was not horrible but I would Not necessarily recommend it honestly. The seafood rolls are pretty good but the preparation/rolling of them throw me off as they come out looking a little weird, but nonetheless the food was hot and the customer service was good.

It's in a semi commercial area so a little hard to find. Like a little hole in the wall so I was hoping it was good. Went one and they guy that claimed to be the owner said he had just gotten back into town so they are closed and I should return the next day. Went the next day, hours after the listed opening time and it still wasn't open. Not sure how other tried it because it doesn't seem like it's ever truly open.

Food was AMAZING!!! Was here this past weekend and I was not disappointed. Food was very flavorful and definitely what you call SOUL food! Tried a few of the places downtown Charleston and they were overrated and overpriced and no seasoning. Definitely check this spot if you in town! Don’t let the venue fool you, the food was great and so was the customer service! The seafood, Lima beans, and Mac n cheese was what I had and to top it all off, the food is seasoned with smoked turkey for the non pork eaters:)

Very friendly staff and great atmosphere. Did not disappoint. Best collard greens I've had. Highly recommend the seafood combo platter but be hungry. Large portions and a great price. I will be a return customer for sure.

Wanted to try a place that's just from Charleston on our visit here Unfortunately the food was not good. The chicken on both wings basket were not cooked all the way ...leaving both of the kids unable to eat them and now having to find food elsewhere. Really was hoping for a better experience .....
