Vinny's Pizza

Ordered everything pizza no sausage no one like sausage and they give me a sausage pizza called them back and ask me to bring the pizza and they replace it so they replaced the pizza and give me a burn pizza and the person al the phone said it wasn’t burn

I’ve been coming here for years and it’s always been hit or miss today was definitely a miss. I asked for extra sauce and ended up with a few drops you have to ask for extra sauce here this the reason. smh.

Absolutely great food, but don’t expect the workers to have a lick of common sense. I always order the combo platter of appetizers, it comes with 3 of your choice. When you order on the website, it REQUIRES you to pick a sauce for each item, therefore I should recieve 3 sauces as well. The past two times we’ve went they gave us one sauce. When we requested the other sauces they say it doesn’t come with 3 sauces, even though the website and receipt have the sauces on them. The workers always give attitude about it which is insane to me. I never want to be a karen but if your own website requires me to pick sauces and lists them on the receipt as something I should receive, I should recieve it with no fuss, or you guys should update your website. It’s crazy to lose business when your food is great but you can’t comply with something your own website requires? Do better.

I've ordered from Jerry's a lot and I will continue to do so, although I have to say that I have been quite disappointed the past few times. When I've ordered for lunch, the pizza is ALWAYS delicious and the beer nuggets come out moist and fluffy. I've ordered during dinner recently a few times and it isnt the same quality whatsoever. I'm not sure if this has to do with the staff or what. Tonight we ordered the Chicken Alfredo Pizza & its sub par, to say the most. It would be great if it actually had sauce on it. I do beleive they might have forgotten to add it... as far as the beer nuggets, they are not the same as during the day. Either the cook is not taking them out of the fryer soon enough or the restaurant desperately needs to change the oil in the fryer throughout the day. I will continue to order from Vinnys but I do hope that they make some changes with their nightly staff. The quality of the food is amazing as long as its prepared correctly!

First bite was an amazing flavor explosion. But the more we ate into it; the more we realized there was a lot of Giardiniera on one slice. You can see how much giardinera was pulled out. So I don't recommend the Italian beef stuffed pizza. Other than that one. Everything else seems great

The food is always good here. The taco pizza was unseasoned ground beef, but with everything else on it, it was good. They are more geared towards carry out or delivery so when phones were busy, we had to wait for refills longer than normal. 100% understandable, but wanted to mention so a person could manage their expectations. Will come back again, and again worth the 40 minute drive for me.

February 10, 2025 We order a large supreme pizza and had it delivered. When the driver got her he had the nerve to expect me to walk out to the car in cold weather to get his pizza this is bad customer service and no I will not give you a tip. On top of that our pizza is burnt and when I call to request a new one to be made the manager wanted to be an ass and refused sending out a new one. He said that’s normal because there too many toppings on the pizza. Well as you can see in the picture the pizza is burnt they just don’t know how tocook.

We normally order from there at least 2-3 time a month spending between $40-50 each time because it was our favorite since we moved here and never had a problem ever until tonight, ordered the same thing we always order and got something totally different. So we Oder medium pizza with two toppings and an order of fried mushrooms. We got pizza and a small cup of sautéed mushrooms!!! Then we call about it and they get smart with us over the phone didn’t even offer to make it right

I like the deals and the pizza was great as well as the wings. Would eat there again. It does take a long time but the delivery guy apologized for his tardiness before I could mention it so great customer service.

Got something from one of the many pizza places in Rockford, and it wasn't that bad. It's a long time establishment around here. Vinny's is where to get some classic Italian stuff. For sure pizzas are the main things of course. There's also other items on the menu like pastas, sandwiches, and whatever. As the evening went on we put in a pick up order. It's about $15 for a specialty pizza. There's a few of these. Has meaty and not so meaty choices. We got the Vegetable Pizza. Came with a good variety on it. There was black olives, green olives, green peppers, mushrooms, onions, and tomatoes. Biggest complaint is it was greasy. It was soaking through the bottom of the box, getting it all on the table. As for the flavor, it was good. The price was just kind of high for a pretty easy pizza. Has a good variety of pizzas to choose from. It's possible to get deep dish or thin crust among others. There's not just pizza but also some other things.

I know there's two locations in Rockford. I'm not sure if this is the same location or owners but after ordering the pizza, they gave me pork when I don't eat pork and then they would not take it back. Try to give me a credit for 10% off I would never call back to this restaurant or do business with these people ever again. What a waste of time . The lady on phone was very rude and non-caring if your religion doesn't not allowing you to eat pork then how can you accept the pizza?

Spent 50 bucks for pizza, chicken strips, and fries. Delivery guy tells me they forgot your chicken strips and fries. Tells me to call them and reorder. I call and the guy answering the phone is beyond rude has me repeat my name 5 times before I give up and drive up there. I get there tell them what happened they say it's not there problem I'll have to go through the slice app for a refund. Then I call slice and they refund the chicken strips and fries but refused to refund the delivery fee. What a joke, they have no problem taking your money and it's the customers fault when they only deliver part of your order.

They have pictures of "their" food on their online menu. I ordered, thinking I'd know what to expect. Unfortunately, their food looked absolutely nothing like their online menu. Very disappointed after spending nearly $20 on two appetizers. And it wasn't good. Just not right to try to pass off Bosco sticks as homemade cheese bread sticks.

Two words: beer nuggets!!! Was in town on business and tried Vinny's because I haven't had beer nuggets in decades. Just as good as I remember!!

Idk if it's the lazy ass staff members answering the phone or the cooks.. maybe they not getting the message from the front.. but everytime I call they aren't happy to answer the phone... ever. I asked for my pizza well done EVERYTIME!!!!! & everytime it isn't well done. At all. Cheese isn't melted. Look very uncooked. I don't understand how you can't burn the cheese a bit.. just a tad. I understand it's just pizza but damn. This place is falling off. From the size of the store to the ppl answering the phone... not happy.

We've ordered from here around 30 times. Our favorite place; one bad experience ruined it. We ordered pizza for a party we were having and ordered chicken strip meals with fries, we never got the fries. Proceeded to demean me and tell me they sent the fries. The chicken strips came in a small folded bag on the pizza with no fries. Kids disappointed but that's okay, customer service sucked!

Can't decide between Mexican or Italian? The Taco Pizza at Vinny's cannot be the best decision you made. Their delivery service is great. I have never been in the location, so I cannot comment on the Ambiance.

Good pizza. Nice to have RC cola as an option. Staff, unfortunately, needs work on their communication and customer service skills.

A heckuva good Chicago-style pizza. Ordered a small double sausage thin crust, square cut tonight. Gone in 15 minutes. Not the first, certainly won't be the last. Highly recommended.

The best Italian beefs, absolutely delicious! And the fries are delicious as well. Way better than Portilos on flavor and price! Definitely going to be trying their other food. I've only ate takeout there, and the service is always good.

I have not been here to eat but I ordered through their website for pickup 2 days in advance for a birthday party. I had my friend go pick it up the day of the party and she called in advance to ensure it was going to be ready. Through the site it was linked through an app called Slice. I had set for it to be picked up at 12:30 since the party was at 1pm and I wanted it to be fresh. At 10am I received a message from Slice that my order was ready?? When my friend called at 12:15 they said they did not have my order, and nothing was paid for. I had to call myself and explain everything and then wait 5 min on hold for them to tell me they see my order and they would begin making it. Pizza was late, friend was late to the party. Not a good first experience for me with Vinny's. Don't order through the website.

I used to live and recommend this place to everyone...until today. Ordered the shrimp Alfredo and the Italian beef hurricane stuffed pizza as I have done several times before over the last year. The shrimp were dumped in a pile on top of the pasta and weren't de-tailed, the onions were missing from the pizza, as was the hot giardienera I'd specified on half the pizza. Called to inform the establishment where I was met with an argument from the owner who did offer to re-make the food, but offered nothing to compensate me for the extra hour's round trip, gas, and aggravation otherwise. Such a shame.

If I could give a -5 stars I would. We once ordered a pizza, paid for the pizza and tip by credit card. It took longer than expected for delivery and we fell asleep before the driver delivered the pizza and they didn't even leave it. It was late, that's why we ordered it. I was so pissed I didn't bother to call, I just decided to never order from them again and make sure I told everyone in the area that I know. I'm so disappointed, we used to like this pizza.

I ordered through a card in my hotel with the name on it of Orderin.something. I didn't know I was ordering from a specific company. I ordered on 7/26 at 7:45 in the evening. The first thing on the bill is a $10 delivery charge. I anticipated there would be one. I ordered a side salad Boneless wings, plain (no sauce) Onion rings (12). That must have been a large order. I would have been happy with a small. The ranch dressing they charged me a $1 for. Usually when I order a salad I get a dressing with it. They added a 20% tip to the bill which I did not authorize. I don't usually tip that high but not looking at the bill when it was delivered, I gave him a tip from my pocket so he fared quite nicely. Plus they taxed on the total bill - including tax. That is not the way it is supposed to be done! The food was ok but i wood never order from there again. I wrote on the card in the room that the tip is included on their bill to warn the next person who orders through them because it's the only source the hotel offers for a delivery food source.

The sweet girl that be answering the phone on Tuesdays gives such good vibes, she bad too. The food good and has much flavor. My favorite food that I recommend is the chicken Alfredo 10/10 and the pizza is even better

1 st couple pizzas very good excellent flavor liked the sauce. Next two pizzas no sauce at all cheese. Next pizza request extra sauce. Again no sauce what so ever on pizza . So sad icant get them to put sauce on. I am no longer going to order pizzas from here.

I used to work for the original owner of Rosattis in In Elk Grove/Schaumburg long ago and have considered myself kind of a pizza snob. I have written negative reviews on Lou's in Rockford and find it VERY hard to get a quality pizza out here....that is until I found this little hole in the wall!! Always impressed with the quality of the pizzas. I only wish I knew about them years ago

We're in town for a lacrosse tournament and wanted to try something local. Mozzarella sticks were great! From there it went downhill. We waited about 45 minutes then went back up to check on the pizza. They'd forgot to make it! Twenty minutes later we finally got it. Pizza was good. Service is really lacking. No apologies from the staff. Sounded like they have a large take out business. Four people working the counter with only 6-8 tables. We had no silverware, had to ask for cups, and no plates for the pizza. Go at your own risk...

Worst customer service I had in long time. Place a $35 order for delivery just a beef sandwich! 2 hours and three phone calls later never got my food. Only explanation I got was they are busy. I get busy but I never got my food or a phone call back either. Basically they could care less. They lost good customer. Do your self favor go somewhere else.

Seriously great pizza! Friendly customer service all around! We love to try a new pizza when we are out of town, and this by far is my favorite yet!

We ordered three times from this place. The first time, it was only my husband and I..so we ordered a Medium, I think. The crust was extraordinary and the flavor of the sauce was superior to other restaurants. The next two times (including today) we ordered the Hurricane-size pizza as we have a very large family and often have company to help us devour it all. Last time we ordered, I noticed the sauce was almost non-existent (almost identical to when my family growing up would order from Sam's and ask for "light-on-the-sauce"). Understandable. People have different values and personal tastes. A little (or a lot) skimpy for what is considered standard -but ok. My current family enjoys the sauce and it is arguably our favorite part. So, this time we decided to order "Extra Sauce" to help with the discrepancy of opinion in how much sauce a pizza should have. We got home, opened the lid and dug in..only I was disappointed to find that the pizza was identical to the last one we had ordered. Dry as a bone. Almost no sauce at all, just as before and perhaps even more stark. Being as how it was everyone's dinner and our night out, I didn't want to choke down a flavorless meal for the second time, especially after I specifically asked for something I clearly didn't get. We called and told them about the issue..politely described what we ordered and what was in the box. The woman insisted this was not a possibility as "they were slow" so they knew for certain there was "lots" of extra sauce on the pizza. We replied that we could take photos or bring the pizza back in to show them. She offered to put free sauce on our next pizza (laughable after you read the next paragraph). We said, "that won't fix our current pizza". They then said they don't charge for extra sauce anyway so we were not out any money. :') We explained, that we might not have paid for the extra sauce then but we would have been happy to pay an extra charge to get what we asked for... that the pizza isn't worth eating, without it. She snapped back, asking what we wanted then? More sauce???!!! We said, yes please..or we could just take our business elsewhere. She said, "fine...do that then". And she HUNG UP!!! No way! At this point, I was done. We drove down there to get the stupid sauce .. And she tried to CHARGE us $2.19.!!! I can't:') We said we aren't paying for what we already ordered...or for the proposed "free extra sauce". We asked for the manager but he was too busy to face any customers, which he had subjected to his ghetto employee behind the counter. Horrible customer service! Deplorable!

First time ordering and last. The on the phone seemed like she was not paying attention So I repeated my order 3 times and still got it wrong ordered beef, mushroom and pineapple got no pineapple got pepperoni. Called to complain and was told I had called back and changed order to pepperoni. No one called we hate pepperoni. They get it wrong and then lie and said it was my fault. I ordered large pan all they do was make a small with pineapple only not all 3 topping. Told them wasn't fair. Would have been fair if small with all 3 ingredients, Phone person could have cared less When I told her she lost customer. Pleasee listen to all the bad reviews. Badly run business and pizza corner I tried was only average tasting. Do not give this place a try!

Was in the mood for some pizza, but something new. So I wanted to keep it within a 30 minutes drive and found this to meet the criteria. Ordered a basic thin crust sausage and pepperoni, and their spinach and olive oil pizza with chicken. Appetizer of wings and curds. All we're just perfect. Wings were really good. Between the two pizzas I would go with the sausage and pepperoni, but both were great. I would put this in top 10 possibly top 5 for state line area pizza.

I have not been to the restaurant but ordered delivery from them! Called to place order and I believe the girl was new because even though it was on their website she told me she couldn't find one of the items I wanted in the computer, stuffed shells. No big deal though I just ordered something else instead. Food was great! Thought the size of the pizza was a little small for a large but it filled is up! All in all would definitely order from them again!

I received coupons in the mail and decided to call for a delivery. I used a coupon for a 14 inch 3 topping pizza and 20 wings. When I placed the order, the person who answered the phone seemed to know that I was ordering the coupon special. The food was delivered on time and we began to eat. When the container of wings was empty I realized we did not get 20 wings. After adding what the 3 of us ate, we only got 10. I made the mistake of calling to complain. After arguing with 2 people fron Vinny's it was determined that I was the one who did not ask enough questions and was told I got what I paid for. I did not get what I paid for and because of this negative experience. I will never order from Vinny's again.

Being new to Rockford, one of my worries was where to find good pizza. Fortunately, we lucked out being so close to Vinny's. Their pies have been nothing less than spectacular and always tasty. Definitely top ten places to go for pizza in Northern Illinois, including Chicago. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu.

If I could give them no stars for this one i would. I have purchased pizza from this establishment plenty of times. Ordered a hurricane and bread sticks for my kids and their friends on New Years Eve at 6:30pm was told delivery would be an hr $57 total which was all the money I had on my card. At 8:30 I was reminded the order had not come so I called back was told that they were extremely busy because it was New yrs eve and my order would be next to go out which concerned me since my pizza had been sitting all this time. But I said ok I have a bunch of hungry kids here. 2 hrs later my son called to ask about the pizza that had not came yet so I started calling back and kept getting a busy signal. Long story short never got the food with a house full of hungry kids after my card was charged. I called around 5pm the next day to be told they could bring my pizza now and when I refused I was told that they don't do refunds and when I asked for the managers name who was not there I was told by the rude young lady she couldn't give me his name or hers. I have called back twice to be blown off or told that the manager is not there. This is NOT acceptable. I paid for goods that were not delivered and apparently they never have a manager in the store. Very disappointing since my kids love their pizza. Will be contacting the BBB tomorrow to file a complaint and my card company to file a dispute. Bad business all the way around.

We used to eat this in high school all the time. Pizzas are really good, especially the taco pizza. They're the only place I've been to that uses Doritos for the chips. We've had their fried mushrooms etc too and they're ok, but the pizza is the best.

They did me dirty on a delivery. I open the box and the chicken looks ate. By something or someone. Then they want me to bring the chicken back and they wont exchange it for a pizza instead. Gave the driver a good tip before I noticed. Got screwed

They have great pizza. We take our youth group kids here regularly. Love the hurricane deal, something like $23 for a ginormous pizza and a 2L. Pizza is a bit on the greasy side which is FANTASTIC!

Really good pizza! Crust isn't doughy or too thick, it's seasoned really well, good tasting sauce. I really liked this pizza and the the staff was really friendly. We will definitely be ordering from here in the future.

Ginnys is one of the BEST RESTAURANTS in Rockford,I didn't even know about it until recently.Their food is awesomely good,wait staff is very nice and attentive to your needs.NOW,there food is EXCEPTIONAL and you get a LOT for a very reasonable price,I always have enough for a meal the next day,so I get two meals for the price of one.One of their new selections is their Pasta Salad,OMG,it is DELICIOUS,I get their warm bread sticks and if I can hold off,I have enough for the next day.The only thing I would suggest is that you nuke it for 15 seconds and then put your dressing on it,mix it up to get all the yummy covered and you are ready for a feast!! Check it out,I promise you will love it.If you are from out of town,the Motel6 has their menu in their rooms for dine in,take out or delivery,very smart move on their part Motel 6. Best pizza I've had so far in Rockford. I really like their sauce recipe. They have good prices for quality pizza.

My husband, Grandaughter and I went to dinner a few nights ago and it was awesome!! Both the service and the food were!!! We will be back!! Our server (Gina) did a fantastic job!!! The Italian beef sandwich can't be beat!! YUMMY

I've been ordering pizza from Vinny's..for 3 years... Large thin crust sausage.. 13.84 ... Everytime...now it's $18.85....girl was new.. all good..came back on the phone..after being on hold for 5mins. Twice...asked for a manager..they thought they put me on hold... didn't... talking bad about me...til I yelled!! Hey!!!! I can hear you...then I'm on hold..... fucking bullshit. Great pizza...and former great service.... No longer...what changed? Sad

INCOMPETENT STAFF AND DISHONEST MANAGEMENT!!! Ordered for delivery and received the wrong pizza. After calling back to ask for the right pizza or refund, I was told no. After, listening to recording of my call to place order, and confirming that Vinny's sent the wrong pizza, they still refused to make right.

I have not been to the restaurant for a sit down meal but I have ordered delivery twice while at work and both times it has been surprisingly good. The person who took my order was very patient as I had five separate orders and the delivery driver was also very nice. The packaging of the food was numbered which made it much easier in determine who's was who's. The portions are big and the prices are reasonable. I had their bacon ranch chicken salad and it was huge! I finished it in two sittings. They were not stingey with their toppings, at all! Their toasted meat ravioli was good, the sauce is a bit sweeter then what I'm used to but still very good and I would order again. My coworkers had their Italian beef, spaghetti and meatballs and chef salad and they said nothing but good things. Can't wait to try other things from the menu!

I like this pizza and we get pizza from here frequently, but only cause my girlfriend likes it more than I do. I'd rather get Sam's, but this pizza isn't bad. Let me tell you about the pizzas. The pizzas usually aren't cut very well at all, so prepare your own pizza cutter when you get home. The cheese is pretty good, but it doesn't stretch when you pull your mouth away, just breaks off. It's a different type of cheese or something. A different texture. But it's good cheese I guess. The sauce is sweet and yummy, but some slices don't have a lot of sauce. I think the crust on bottom is just a slight bit too soft sometimes. The crust at the end has a good crunch, but is basic. Nothing special about it. Now, about the location... It's in a somewhat shifty area with shifty people always around. There are always loiterers around here because Vinny's pizza is located next to two alcohol and cigarette shops, where these people hang around at. They're not friendly and they're always loud. A lot of gang banger types around here. Get it delivered, it's worth it.

Worst service ever!!! Wrong pizza delivered! I waited two hours got cold pizza. Left a good tip too! But the driver blocked my number when I called to tell her that my order was wrong. I ordered $26 worth of meat and ended up getting Just a veggie pizza. I called the next day and the manager said he would talk to the driver and find out what happened. All I wanted was for them to give me a new hot pizza correctly made. Instead the manager said bring the pizza back and I'll give you your money. I never asked for my money back!!!!!! I just wanted it made over. So I brought the whole pizza back and got my money and the girl who delivered was there. She took the pizza back and as she was walking back she said "nig**s ain't sh*t" . I'll never eat there again !!!

ok, 20 bucks for a large w/ 3 toppings is to much. Understand most are today. I dont eat out because of the prices. I get a digiorno for 6 bucks, doctor it for another 3 !@ Just as good.

The phone girls were very patient and nice. The hurricane pizza is perfect for parties!

I really like their pizza. I really like the sauce. It is particularly good. I would recommend this restaurant because it has such good Pizza.

I am giving this 3 stars based on my last experience. I would have given it 5 but last time I ordered... they decided to liberally sprinkle oregano on top of the pizza. I am not sure how long this has been going on but it was not the case the last time I ordered. The quality of the crust, sauce, ingredients and cheese were all very good. I just wish I had known they were now adding oregano. I hate oregano. Consistency is key. I will order again-- but be sure to ask for no oregano. Very good salad.
