Nice atmosphere, plenty of seating. Even though it is an Italian restaurant it serves authentic German Schnitzel on the dinner menu. It doesn't have spaetzle at least not on the menu. They have a wonderful indoor and outdoor seating areas. Also a place to watch big screen TV s. I would love to come back and try a veal parmesean dish.

We are regular customers at Vino Bistro and always enjoy the food, atmosphere and the great service. However, for this review I want to give a special thank you to Lori and staff for hosting a wonderful baby shower for my daughter!! Everything was perfect!! Lori went above and beyond expectations to create a warm/cozy atmosphere with plated meals and extra decorations that transformed the restaurant into an intimate space for the perfect baby shower. Many of the guests traveled from out of state to attend and they all raved about the atmosphere, food and the staff who treated everyone as if they were family. Thank you so much to Lori, Gloria (Jagger😊), Aaliyah…and all of Vino Bistro for an unforgettable experience!!

Google
I rarely give out all around 5 stars but this place definitely deserves it! The food was varied and delicious, the wine was great and well priced, plus they had a surprisingly good selection of non wines at the bar. Its cozy without being constricted and well definitely go back!

Google
Great place to enjoy tasty food with great friends and loved ones. Nick provided excellent service. Vino Bistro is also a dog- friendly restaurant. Our 4-legged partner enjoys the attention she gets every time we come here.

Vino Bistro is one of my favorite spots in Leesburg. The food and wine are consistently good, but what truly sets it apart is the vibe—it’s elegant yet relaxed, lively without being overwhelming. The wine list is excellent, the menu has a strong mix of shareable plates and bistro classics, and the staff are knowledgeable and welcoming. The patio is perfect on warm evenings, and the atmosphere inside makes it just as enjoyable for a casual night out or a special occasion. If you’re looking for great food and wine in a place where you actually want to linger, Vino Bistro delivers.

We held my son’s rehearsal dinner there and everything was fabulous! Lori did a beautiful job with setting up a beautiful table for us! Our food and drinks were outstanding! Everyone said it was their best meal ever! The service was top notch!! Would highly recommend hosting an event there!

We had our rehearsal dinner at Vino Bistro and it was perfect! The team at Vino went above and beyond our expectations. The food was all terrific. Vino offered a 3 course menu with guests being able to choose their own entree. We had the caeser salad, angry shrimp and pork belly appetizers as appetizers which were huge hits! The short rib, schnitzel and the salmon with orzo were our entree options. The short rib was my favorite but everything was so good. Arguably the best was saved for last with 4 different desserts to choose from; tiramisu, creme brulee, bread pudding and a chocolate cake. The tiramisu was huge and delicious, and the chocolate cake was incredible! Vino also made his & hers cocktails for us which everyone loved. They offered to serve mocktails and of course wine and beer! The service was top notch from Vino. We had about 30 guests and everyone received their food an drinks quickly. The staff was friendly and really made the whole dinner a nice experience. They decorated the tables with flowers and had our rehearsal dinner menus and drink options printed out. I can't say enough about Vino and how well they did with our rehearsal dinner. What a great start to our wedding weekend!

Google
Date night and make it delicious! We finally made it to Vino Bistro for a belated Valentine's dinner, and it did not disappoint! From the perfectly crisp fried Brussels sprouts to the creamy butternut squash risotto and the melt-in-your-mouth braised short rib, every bite was a win. My husband loved the flavors but noted that portions lean on the smaller side for a 6'5 guy-so maybe don't bring husbands starving but definitely come for quality! Paired it all witha Sazerac cocktail, and now I'm already planning my next visit to try more of their dishes.

Yelp
We ate here for the first time this past Saturday. It was recommended by friends who did join us for dinner. We are also fans of the Wine House so had some expectations going in. They surpassed our hopes on every level. We had a marvelously secluded booth type table, amazing service, a wine steward who def knew his shit, and totally enjoyed every dish. All that, and was pleasantly surprised at the bill! As a past restaurant owner, I'm all in on this place and their team!

Yelp
Damn..... what a shame. Was so happy for this place when it opened up & had some success. I always root for the local non-chain restaurants with some soul & this place had it...for a while. Revisted the other night for the 1st time in a year, and holy shit - what happened??? Appetizers were spot on, but the entrees were a huge miss. Their crab cakes used to be big, flavorful & off the charts, this time there were 2 golf ball sized dried up, unedible balls of garbage. $27 and took two bites before giving up. We also had the $36 "RACK of lamb" which considted of 2 lollipop size lamb chops w/ zero flavor & terrible execution. Nobody even came by to see how/if we were enjoying our meals - service was weak. Got the check & bounced. Such a shame a once good restaurant fell apart like this. Definitely wont be back & hopefully the next occupant of that space stays consistant - Vino Bistro wont be there much longer. Update: Thank you for the reply, Michael. Like I said, I have been a fan and advocate for Vino bistro since you opened - taking both friends & clients there on many occasions. Please don't embarrass yourself by saying the crab cakes are the same size as they always are - I have ordered them 10 times at least and these were tiny & dry. Your server also fell down by not saying a word when she cleared the plates (yes no check up in between) and noticed they were barely touched. As for the lamb, I've seen 4oz filets that were bigger than your 8oz lambchops -and there were 2 - not 4 as you say. Bottom line, an expensive dinner not to eat & enjoy, and awful service not checking up once to see how we were enjoying everything. Was there on Saturday night at 9pm - it wasn't busy.

Yelp
I was excited to try this place out. I was highly disappointed. I ordered a whiskey sour that had too much sour in there, might as well have been lemonade. Didn't order any apps- straight to entrees The beef burgundy gnocchi- it tasted like it was a stouffe's microwave meal The prosciutto wrapped pork was overly dry and crispy. It was served with whipped potatoes and green beans in a butter sauce Steak frites- the steak was dry but the frites were good. The only thing that was good

Yelp
I must have ordered the wrong thing when I visited this place. The food was fresh and delicious but left me feeling hungry. I wish I had ordered the other menu items as it looked far more voluminous and delicious. The server we had was very phony and she felt hostile towards us. Service was also slow and plain old uninviting. The outside seatings were nice but dark and cold. The parking is not the easiest to find. We chose to just park in the nearby garage and walked a block away. I may return in the future but unlikely.

Yelp
We decided to walk in to this place on our way back from Leesburg wineries. We immediately fall in love With place. The menu is super elaborated and wonderful. The owners are garcious and staff is humble. I sat down and ordered coffee and to my surprise wonderful French press coffee came which I had not Seen since my last visit to Paris in December of 2022. Overall amazing place and awesome food. I recommend to everyone to visit once and decide for yourself.

Yelp
When you get the crabcakes, you might be disappointed that there are just two of them, but those two crabcakes are full of crab, and at the end of the day it is quality over quantity! The fries were crispy, and went well with the salad, which was lightly dressed with a citrus dressing. The beets were also pretty good; however, I would say that the beets were a bit over cooked as they were extremely soft. The dressing that was used was very light and refreshing, especially for a hot day. The plating was also incredibly cute and the spring mix was refreshing. The waitress made sure to keep our glass is full of water, and checked in on us, and we were in and out in under 30 minutes! I definitely would come back here for lunch when I'm in the area!

Yelp
I loved our night here! It's small and romantic, and we had great service. The wine was also phenomenal--nothing we had never heard of, but just the most flavorful of each major type of wine. The food was fine--I would definitely come back here, but nothing blew me away. The endive salad was tasty when I had bites of walnuts and blue cheese mixed in--but there was so little of those accompaniments, the vast majority of bites were just plain boring endive. The shrimp linguine was tasty and not too heavy--I really enjoyed it--but it didn't blow me away with flavor.

Yelp
Had dinner this weekend on a Saturday night. Made a reservation online for 7pm, we came 20 minutes early and was sat immediately with no problem. The host was very friendly, chatted with us and made food recommendation. Our server was not outstanding in anyway, sub par. The restaurant seems like it's going for a more upscale dining but the service did not match that. My boyfriend and I both ordered the Cabins in the Woods cocktail. Which is Bourbon, Cointreau, Oak, Vanilla, and Citrus. The drink was good, I enjoyed it. The only issue is there was a bad smell from the glass. Both my boyfriend and I glass had a very off putting smell, like it was not cleaned well. For appetizer, we ordered the Chipotle-Rubbed Ahh Tuna. The experience was extremely shocking as we received the dish. The host was chatting with us at the table, this is a 2-top table so not huge, we had drinks menus sitting in the table and holding the food menu. The lady that dropped off the food just quickly threw the plate down on the top of the drink menus and rushed away. It was so crazy that the plate was wobbling and the host started moving it off of the menus for us. The appetizer itself, the star of the show is the ahi tuna, well, unfortunately it was over cooked. So as we were eating it, it did not have that soft fresh taste. Pretty disappointing. The flavor profiles was good and I can appreciate the chipotle rub, the salad that came with it, with butternut, olives, tomatoes were refreshing. My boyfriend ordered the French Onion soup, good flavors , just not as bold. He also mentioned there's no croutons like typical French onion soup. Entree time. I do not understand why the server / runner dropping off the food seems to this aggressive food drop off. Once again we had our entree dropped off with such a unfriendly manner. My boyfriend and I was in disbelief with our experience. My boyfriend ordered the Steak Frites (We felt presentation could have looked better) He enjoyed it and loved the sauce that came with it. It is a Flat Iron Grassfed steak, Pommes Frites, and Âu Poivre Sauce. I ordered the Rack of New Zealand Lamb. My lamb was cooked perfectly to Medrare. I loved how it was Herb-Crusted w/ Dijon Mustard. It came with Roasted Potatoes and a Bordelaise Sauce. I thoroughly enjoyed the Lamb and the Bordelaise sauce that came with it. Overall, I finally checked this place out..I was not impressed. The combination of the service, some of the food and the drink experience made this experience just ok and not worth it.

Yelp
Visited during Ice Fest 2023, starting with their featured wine tasting: 12 different wines for $20. It's worth noting they offer a wine club and are able to order just about anything that their voluminous selection doesn't already have. Note, the wine list pictured here is just a sampling of their total selection. Stayed for dinner. The shrimp appetizer was very pleasantly crunchy with flavorful sauces. Both cuts of meat were perfectly medium rare as ordered. The staff and food were great. Plenty of wine options and prices are fair. Definitely would return.

Yelp
Vino Bistro absolutely knocked it out of the park for our wedding rehearsal dinner! Lori and her staff were flawless in delivering a fun, relaxing, and delicious evening for our friends and family. The drinks came out very quickly and the staff was so respectful of each of our guests. The food was incredible and our guests were all raving about the quality of each course. Lori even had backup vases for our florals when ours were leaking, talk about being prepared! All things considered, we could not have asked for a better rehearsal dinner experience and we have Vino Bistro to thank for that! If you are considering having a private dinner event of any sort there, here is your sign to do it because Lori and her team will deliver!

Yelp
Really enjoy this place for the location and ambience. They have music here on occasion and it has been great. Wine is a personal preference and we have not found our favorite here ...yet. Food can be hit more miss. We have definitely enjoyed the seafood options: salmon and scallops, and even the lamb chops were ok, but the steak ( rib eye) was on of the worst cuts of meat I ever had at a restaurant. It was extremely filled with gristle and had no flavor ( spices). The owner, manager and staff are super nice and are hands on. We will come back again but will definitely not try the steak. It definitely ruined our food experience and upset my stomach for the evening and next day.

Yelp
Was in last night with a group of 6. Only one other party (2 person table) inside the restaurant - patio pretty full. Waited 15 minutes before a member of our party had to go ask somebody to take our drink order. She apologized and said free desserts for our trouble (nice thought). Waited another 15 minutes...no drinks. Turns out the order was never put in and we never saw her again. Manager took over without any apologies and service was fine after that. At the end, no dessert, no discount, no apologies - just the bill. Food would be 4 stars, but the service and friendliness is definitely one or two stars. Very sad, because this used to be one of our favorite places.

Yelp
I celebrated my (large) bachelorette dinner here over the weekend. The staff did an amazing job accommodating such a big group and were incredibly attentive. I loved that they had a wide variety of menu items at different price points. We were able to have what felt like a nice meal out without breaking the bank. Added bonus - The restaurant was completely open to the patio so air circulation wasn't a concern. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was, unfortunately, the food. Everything seemed to be overcooked, including the duck and the fish dishes. The crab and lobster bisque was a solid recommendation (it's a family recipe!). I asked that they go light on the sauce for my shrimp pasta. When they brought it out with my friend's, they didn't ask which one was light sauce, so it was clear that my request was forgotten. It was still tasty but needed some TLC - some red pepper flakes and black pepper did the trick. My friend who got the same dish and I agreed that a light white wine sauce would've been preferred over the heavy cream sauce. Another friend said her food was also under-seasoned but I forget what she got. Despite the food not being exactly what I'd hoped for, I'm glad I chose this restaurant to celebrate with my friends. The ambiance and price were right and the staff was friendly. Perfect the food, and they'll have a great thing going!

Yelp
Visited on Saturday afternoon and brunch menu looked pretty good. I tried the Brie BLT and was blown away. Tasty, sweet, salty. Mike behind the bar takes great care of everybody.

Yelp
We were celebrating Mother's Day, the food came so late and for me the one paying for all the Moms, the shrimp linguine never came they made a mistake on my food when I complained I didn't get my food correctly they rushed my dish and came to me with uncooked shrimp and pasta! Therefore I had to eat from everyone else's dish! What a disappointment! We went there for all the good reviews! They gave me 10% of the bill and a bottle of rose that I won't drink it bc we were just there from out of town. I don't think they can handle big parties we waited for a long time for our food we were starving

Yelp
Vino Bistro is a fun place to hang out and sip from their large wine selection. My husband and I were meandering around The Village during their annual Ice Fest and I noticed a sign on the door for Vino Bistro stated they were offering 12 mines to taste for $20 and I was like, yes, please. :-) We finished touring the Ice Fest and came back to Vino Bistro for a wine tasting followed by an early dinner. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and given everything we needed to start the wine tasting. There were three tables with four wines each and a staff member at each table to walk you through the varietals as well as a little history of each vineyard for the wines they were serving. Overall, great experience. The wines they offered were diverse in style and country of origin. The price point for bottles was also really reasonable. Next, we were seated for dinner. Our table was in a good location for view of the television above the bar as well as a view of The Village plaza outside. We ordered the angry shrimp for an appetizer and a bottle of malbec. The shrimp were quite tasty. For our main dishes were ordered the loaded cheeseburger and the ribeye special. Both were cooked to perfection. I also really enjoyed the asparagus and scalloped potatoes that came with the ribeye. My husband said the burger and fries hit the spot. We tried both of their cupcake offerings for dessert and wow, were they good! Definitely give Vino Bistro a try the next time you are near The Village at Leesburg. Thanks for a great experience...we'll be back!! :-)

Yelp
We went to dinner at Vino Bistro with 2 other couples on a Saturday night. We had 6:30 reservations and arrived on time and were seated immediately inside. That was the last we saw of anyone until I went and asked for a server at 6:55. A woman came over and apologized for the wait, told us she would get us a free dessert, and took our drink order. After 20 MORE minutes and nothing, I went to the bar to ask where our drinks were at that time ANOTHER initially somewhat surly woman came over and said she didn't know where our server went but nothing was rung in for us ‍ She took our drink order AGAIN and she and 2 other employees came by with our wine and more water. Once we got to the food portion of our evening, we honestly had no complaints. The food was good tho my husband was disappointed that the 'surf' portion of the surf and turf was a total od 2 shrimp! Everyone was please with their meals and tho the initial woman offered free dessert and we told the second server we were there celebrating a retirement, all that came was our bill

Yelp
Vino Bistro exceeded all expectations during their Spanish Wine Dinner event. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The manager, Laurie, showcased an unparalleled attention to detail, ensuring every aspect of the evening ran smoothly. The chef showcased their culinary prowess with top-notch dishes that left our taste buds dancing with delight. Each course was a masterpiece, expertly paired with exquisite Spanish wines. Vino Bistro truly offers an unforgettable dining experience, where passion for food and wine shines through in every bite and sip.

Yelp
In search for a great fish and chips .. Vino Bistro has a pretty decent one. The Tartar Sauce had a great spice to it. The breading was light, flaky and quite tasty. The size was a bit smaller than I expected. The chips (fries) were good.

Yelp
This is a beautiful restaurant to visit on a nice day- the restaurant completely opens up and it's lovely. The chocolate martini was amazing. Unfortunately it would be difficult to return because the food just wasn't good and the price definitely didn't match. The duck was extremely over cooked and chewy, with no flavor. The string beans were good. I also ordered a side of asparagus- it cost five dollars, and came with 5 spears. It was baked with a bit of salt and pepper and nothing else. It wasn't bad, but a dollar a spear? For dessert I ordered the chocolate terrine, and it was good.
google avatar

Yelp
Cute and classy locals place. Not a fancy or chic wine bar but definitely more chill vibes. The coziest place to sit is probably to the left of the host stand. The inside is big and the bar is large. The wines were good, and all of the food is super fresh and healthy. Tried the tuna appetizer which had a lot of good flavors and was tasty. Definitely a good portion as well! I like the chipotle flavoring with the tuna. Also tried the shrimp pasta which honestly was not too heavy at all and I really loved the sauce. Simple, solid food but good!

Yelp
As I waited my 30 minutes for my grilled chicken breast while the restaurant was relatively vacant, I experienced great music coming from the local venue, a good blood orange beer, and a pretty sizable spider that hung from my table. Right after snapping the picture, it crawled on my leg. Trying my best to not freak out, I swiped it off my leg and got up from my table. The brown spider instantaneously blended in with all of the bricks on the ground. I was terrified. No server noticed and nothing was done. As I fearfully crawled back into my chair to receive food service, I found it on the ground and promptly stomped on it as it tried to get to the table. When confronting the waitress about my experience, her face went flush, and she rushed to grab the manager. The manager walked up to me, told me "I mean you're outside, there will be bugs" and effectively shrugged it off. I pretty much said "okay..." and that was the end of the interaction. For people who may have health issues to venoms that bugs contain, this dismissal of not only public health but customer service is as disgusting as the spider being under my table. After I pulled all of the webs off of my body and my head, I still provided a tip. The waitress was kind but the manager was nothing short of disappointing in his response. Maybe I'm just not an outdoorsmen when expecting to go to a nice Bistro. Won't be there again.

Yelp
I've been to Vino Bistro a few times. The food is pretty tasty. The service is always friendly. The atmosphere is pretty relaxing. All-in-al, a good pick!

It's okay. Maybe I was there on an off night, but I was expecting an exciting Italian experience and we didn't get that.

Yelp
Last night we were celebrating a friend's birthday at Vino Bistro. We got great seats at the bar and ordered a Dealers Choice. It's a drink that that bartender concocts based of your preferences. It was delicious! Exactly what we wanted. We had a wonderful time. The bartenders were attentive, witty and overall really fun people. They created such a great night for us. I highly recommend this place. It's reasonably priced. The decor is stylish and modern. And the feel of the place is perfect for any occasion. One more thing..... It wasn't too loud. Im a soft talker, so loud places destroy my night.

Yelp
Vino Bistro is a nice restaurant with outdoor seating. We came here with my parents and aunt, and we were able to bring our dogs with us. Vino Bistro has a lot to choose from, especially if you're looking for fantastic wine. Since Vino Bistro is located in a busy shopping area, there are plenty of parking spots. But when we visited on a Thursday night, the place was packed! Most of the tables out on the patio were taken. I recommend making reservations. The food menu has a good selection of items. There were many items, that ranged from smaller plates, to seafood entrees and heartier dishes, like beef stew or lamb. The food was more upscale without it being pretentious, if that makes sense. We started with the baguette and cheese plate and ordered bottles of wine that our server recommended, after he inquired with us what we preferred. He was very knowledgeable about the many wines offered here. If you don't see a wine on the menu you like, there's more, so ask the server for recommendations. For my entree I ordered the crab cakes. The food was yummy! The baguette came out warm, and had three spreads to go along, which included a tomato-based spread, a tapenade and a butter garlic. The cheese plate was also nice, as it came with four different kinds of cheeses from Europe, with all different textures. It also came with a side of baguette. Anytime I'm around the Beltway, I have to get some Maryland crab cakes, which weren't too shabby here. Though they were thinner than what I had hoped for, they were still very good. It came on a bed of a corn cake with some jalapeno and a fruit relish for some sweetness. I liked the spice element from this dish. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner here and it made for a fun setting, as there were many people out on the patio, drinking wine and having lively conversations. It's definitely somewhere I'd recommend if you're in the area and are looking for different kinds of wines with food to pair it with.

Yelp
They have really stepped up the game with the staff that works there now. They were fun and engaging, making great suggestions for our meals and drinks. The bartender can make anything you want or just tell him what you like and trust his instincts. I got the risotto and we shared some appetizers and it was all delicious.

Yelp
Nice set up and outside sitting area to listen to the live music. But, didn't expect to spend $26 for two drinks!? And of course the guilt tip for grabbing a can of beer and pouring it. Had a few mixed appetizers, charcuterie plate. Not bad. Just can't get over what they charge for a beer.
google avatar

Anna N.

Yelp
Decided to give this place a try because of all of the high reviews but this place is very underwhelming for what it is. It seems like an upscale restaurant but everything was not worth for its price. The charcuterie board is almost $20 just for some cold meat slices that you can buy from your local grocery store for way less. I've had way higher quality charcuterie at other restaurants that's actually worth the money for the same cost. The service is extremely slow here and the waitress was standing around talking to another employee the whole time. We came during brunch time which wasn't too busy. We had to ask the waitress multiple times to bring water and condiments because she would never come back the first time after asking. It took about 20 minutes just to get the water and ketchup we asked for too which we only got by asking another employee. The only thing saving this place from one star is the shrimp pasta which was pretty good. The steak came out cold and tasted average and the majority of the plate is filled with fries. For an "upscale" restaurant this was pretty disappointing.

B M.

Yelp
Been to this place once. The location and ambience are nice. The food was disappointing. We had the SEAFOOD CIOPPINO STEW and the MAHI MAHI. The stew was tasty, but not enough seafood and it did not come with the rice it was supposed to come with and which it needed. The mahi mahi was one of the worst blackened mahi mahi was mediocre. Ordered one of the cocktails (forget the name) and it was also mediocre/bland. Staff was friendly, but overworked and did not attend to our table sufficiently.
google avatar

Caitlyn R.

Yelp
All the hostesses/waitresses in the back, one drinking red bull. While one hostess works. Despite having a reservation they stuck us by the bathroom. Quick to come by with water. After that it took a while to get one to come by. It's apparent the requirement is to be under 30, unless you're the bartender who was male. The bartender came by with the wine we requested and asked if we'd like to taste. He then proceeded to ask if we were alright. I had the filet mignon. Steak was juicy, tender and cooked exactly. Potatoes were pre-formed in advance, cut like lasagna in a square, cold and lacking flavor. Dessert was great. If you want fast service. You won't get it. If you want good food then come.
google avatar

Conrad B.

Yelp
If the service was as good as the food - we'd see 5-starts here, no problem. Staffing shortages are one thing, but if you're going to charge the top dollar ($$$) for above-average ($$) food, you hate to see it spoiled by poor service ($) Got the shrimp and grits. Was great, and would get it again. The chorizo in it was on point. Drinks and wine were priced a little high for the area, but they were good. Salads and fries are good, but they nickel and dime you on the sides. Just go in with the expectation of dropping $100 per person, and you'll have a 5-star experience

Yelp
Brad, our server was nice and knowledgeable of their wine selections, made recommendations so that's a plus! We had reservation for outdoor seating on Open Table and we got the perfect spot outside. Customer service as raved upon was evident! We ordered a bottle of Sparkling Cuvee French Rose was reasonably priced and refreshing! The Angry Shrimp with Arugula was good, shrimp was beer battered and arugula drench in light olive oil a good choice for small plate foe me. Hubby tried the fish & chips was crispy was decent. But the toasted french baguette with tapenade, basil butter & romesco was my fav. All in all it was not bad. Ambience deserves a 5 star, customer service 4, food 3.5 so rounding score ro 4! Nice that this place practices social distancing and wearing masks and they spray clean the tables each customer so that's good. I suppose other selection on the menu deserve 5 as many had scored them but perhaps what we ordered for this visit deserve only 3.5 to 4 stars. I was not overwhelmed or anything but I felt good enough about this place that I would definitely come back to give them a better rating!

Yelp
First, the risotto was like rice pilaf. I sent it back, they apologized. Then ordered bread pudding to go to enjoy with friends. Went to the hotel, opened the box. This is what it looked like. Slices of toasted and burnt bread with custard smeared on it. Gave it a try to see how it tasted, big disappointment. Had nothing to do with "bread pudding ". Giving two stars because they apologized for the risotto...

Yelp
They just opened. There are some good things and some issues to clean up. First off the good stuff: 1. Interesting wine selection at retail prices. Sort of a combo of a small wine store and a bistro. So think Wine Kitchen just not farm-to-table style. 2. They have some harder to get local favorites like Glen Manor. 3. Service was good. Nice table section and the bar is set up to catch a game while drinking wine or beer. Some good beers including local favorites from Solace brewing. 4. Prices are very reasonable. However while the food was tasty but there were execution errors. Our seared tuna was dry and nearly cooked through. My wife and I both ordered beef dishes medium rare that came to us medium to medium well. They also had a Christmas mix on loop. We endured "Let is snow" at least 4 times. I would ditch the background music. Bottom line: Vino Bistro is worth trying, especially if you like wine or you are already shopping at Wegmans. They are new, so one would expect improvements over time at they staff up.

Yelp
Good menu selections, great wine in a cozy environment. And we always receive excellent service.

Yelp
My friend and I choose this place because it was close to the Toyota dealership we went to but little did we know that this place was going to be one of the best dining experience we had in a while. This place is a triple whammy because they have amazing drinks, food and service. Jeff and Brad are the best, I mean all of their staff were super nice and helpful. I got the braised short ribs and it is to die for, my friend she got the salmon burger and she loved it. The wine Brad recommended was super delicious and did you know in that area you can walk around outside with your wine? I will definitely recommend everyone to try this place and I can't wait to come back with more friends!

Yelp
Just hosted a large group for a Christmas lunch. Everything was just wonderful. The manager and staff were so helpful, accommodating our every wish. The table setting and festive Christmas decor were first class. The wines they helped us choose were on point and the food was delicious. I have been there many times on my own but have never hosted a large group there. First class!

Yelp
A nice place to stop in for a quick glass chilled of wine and good food in the 'hood. The only problem with it is it tries to be a pretentious bistro like the ones in D.C. and we're in the depths of Loudoun County. The prices are steep for what it is. However, service here is divine and they really know their wine. I appreciate that more than anything.

Yelp
My mother and I (with my son) were out shopping in the Leesburg Towncenter one day and wanted to stop for lunch, after looking at the menu, while enticing, did not have food for my son; therefore we decided to come back without him. Once we finally had some mother/daughter time, we managed to finally make it over. The drinks were great, as well as the appetizer, however the main courses were bland. They lacked seasoning and a pop of spice. I had ordered the pork belly sandwhich, and while I could taste the tomato and arugala, the pork belly was not seasoned and just fat. My mother ordered the shrimp linguini which was supposed to have a lemon twang but mostly tasted like shrimp and oil (I personally tasted). With that said, the service was decent and the people were nice. Good place for just drinks, but do not recommend food.

Yelp
For sure worth a trip. Excellent wine list, which was good as two of the three of us are winemakers. Sommelier was awesome, reacting to our thoughts and preferences and showing us a solid range of fun wines, ultimately we started with a grand cru Chablis, which should be and certainly was a great wine, even swaying one of my Chardonnay-hating friends! Food delicious for sure - the mussels were not what I expected, thinking they would be in a white wine broth was my mistake, but the cheesy creamy sauce was super-tasty and far better. For mains I had the shrimp and grits which was nicely cooked (okay, not perfectly, I'd give the shrimp themselves only four stars), and given I live in California, I am a sucker for good grits, and they are hard to find for sure. The beef burgundy is delicious, but huge, and well worth taking home any leftovers! Desert - not needed, but looked nice on the menu, we just ordered a bottle of Pic St Loup.

Yelp
I love Vino Bistro but couple of off notes for me lately. One is the crowding in the restaurant. It's very hard to move around the tables. I get that they're trying to take advantage of every square inch for maximum profit but I don't want to be THAT close to people, where I can hear everything. When I was there on Saturday Jan 7, my three friends and I were seated in the middle of the dining room near the bar and the lights from the outdoor patio were glaring and unpleasant. I tried to ignore it as best I could but it was annoying because my seat was facing it. Not sure why lights were on as no one is outside in January. Might want to look into better lighting. The short rib was wonderful as usual, as was the wine. Just need to fix a couple things for better ambiance. Service was just fine. The wait staff did seem kind of harried, which doesn't convey a relaxing feeling to the customers. One last thing: the music in the summertime is great but opening all the windows to bring it in means you can't hear anyone at the table.

Yelp
Had dinner last night and the server was very pleasant and tried to be helpful. However, it was not just and the food came out at various times and in no sensible order. I think they forgot to place the entree order as well and then finally made it after we asked where the dinner was disappointing. I've been there twice before and much better on previous experiences.

Yelp
Great gem. Interesting wine list by the glass, not limited. Food was delicious and fresh. Fish and chips were very good dipping sauce spot on. Salmon salad was enjoyed as well. Outside seating when it's cooler for sure.

Yelp
I'd like to start this by saying I worked in the industry for 15 years. I have never seen management be ok with this kind of service. We requested an outdoor table for 12 (7 adults and 5 kids) we thankfully already had beers when we sat down, because that was the last time anything came on time. We sat down at around 6pm for dinner and it took 30+ min for kids meals and appetizers to show up, this should have been our first red flag but we were hungry so we let it slide. After ordering meals and more drinks (which the drinks took 20-25 min to come out) with our kids becoming restless and us doing our best to contain them. We requested our families meal be boxed up to go. The manager came out to tell us it would be just be another minute for our food and when they brought it out they had everyones food in a box with no insight as to what each box was. They told us we'd be receiving 20% off our meal but when someone in our party stated we shouldn't have to pay for any of it as we'd been there over 2 hours at that point they told us if we left our food on the table then we wouldn't have to pay for it, which is exactly what we did. I've never experienced this kind of service before and on our way out we over heard the management apologizing for our table as we "were the reason others peoples food was taking so long" the server did a fine job and I don't fault her for anything, this goes back on management and their approach on how to handle food taking over 2 hours for anyone. Wish I could've given them a better rating because the appetizers were good, but I will never be back to try anything again. I will relay this message to anyone I know who may think of going there as well.

Yelp
Great experience! Tried the flight and bite on a Wednesday night. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about wine, the flight was awesome. Ordered Mussels and frites which had a delicious champagne sauce with it. My husband had the short rib and absolutely loved it. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
First time trying this place and I'm not sure I'd return. The wine was good after trying to order other drinks they were out of so much, which I totally get with supply chain issues. The food was just ok. The service was a bit disjointed. Was super excited to try the place but wasn't what I was expecting.
