I was visiting this place as part of my birthday celebration, it was always a place I wanted to go to when I moved to Tampa, and I was not disappointed the place is beautiful, quiet and cozy, the food was delicious the waiter and everyone who interacted with us that night was very friendly! They sang me happy birthday. I can't wait to return.

Tonight we decided to take our 6 year old and 3 year old out to a nice restaurant and practice our table manners. We went right at opening so that we wouldn’t disrupt any dates. We were welcomed and treated like family from the beginning through our entire meal. The kids enjoyed their pasta (Alfredo and red sauce) and chicken which was perfect kid food while also being incredibly delicious and made me a little food jealous. The burratta was such a refreshing treat to start with. Make sure to get the lasagna, I ate it all up before I could take a picture.

I just want to give a huge thank you to the entire team at Vino E pasta for making one of the most important moments of my life absolutely unforgettable. From the very beginning, the staff was incredibly supportive and genuinely excited to help me plan and execute my proposal to my now-wife. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect—from the setup, to the service, to the smallest details that made the whole experience feel so personal and meaningful. The atmosphere was elegant, the food was amazing, and the team made us feel like royalty from the moment we walked in. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to propose. Vino E pasta made it more than just a dinner—it was a beautiful, memorable experience we’ll cherish forever. Thank you again for your kindness, professionalism, and support during such a special time in our lives. Highly recommend for anyone planning something special—you won’t be disappointed!

This quaint little authentic real Italian restaurant doesn’t just have amazing food and wine, but it brings the family ambience, attention to detail and care bringing us back for momentous celebrations or just a night out year after year.

Went here for the first time this week and it did not disappoint. My new favorite restaurant in Tampa!! The staff was amazing, most importantly the owner. Even if something isn’t on the menu, they will make it! The food was so delicious! Such a lovely small business that I will recommend to everyone I know.

Very warm and comfortable dining experience with relaxing live Cello music playing in the background. The authentic Italian food was fresh, prepared beautifully, and very tasty. It was a busy Saturday night, all the staff were very busy but friendly, We waited quite a long time for our entrées and needed a bit more service as we wanted to order more wine and food , but found it a bit difficult to get the attention of a server to help us. I would give it four and a half stars if possible, and would love to give them a five-star on our next visit, which we look forward to.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and the experience was truly exceptional. Luigi and Louis were so kind and generous throughout our visit. I had a bit of leftover pasta and mentioned wanting to take it home. To my surprise, Luigi not only packed it up but added extra pasta and sauce for my husband and me to enjoy the next day. It made us feel incredibly welcomed, almost like we were part of their family. As for the food, everything we ordered was delicious. We started with the calamari, which was perfectly crispy, followed by the chicken parmesan and spaghetti Bolognese, both rich and flavorful. To top it off, we indulged in the tiramisu and Oreo cheesecake for dessert, and they were divine. I can't recommend this place enough for both the hospitality and the fantastic food!

Yelp
Every single item on the menu is perfection. Service is 10/10. Even though it is a smaller restaurant, SO much comes out of that kitchen and the tables stay full. Make a reservation!

Yelp
Welcome to VINO E PASTA. It is literally a small place from the outside, but when you open the door and step in you will find that you have gone to a place you did not expect. It looks as if you have taken a step back into Italy and entered a small and friendly place that will get you through the evening. And, as you spend the time there you realize it is good you have the reservation beforehand. Otherwise you will be standing outside and hope that a spot becomes available for you. A WAY TO MEET AND GREET. If you are there for a gathering of friends or family, it is important that you first get to the table and sit down to start talking. The team comes around and hands out the menu to start. Naturally the first thing to do is to consider a cocktail, a beverage, or being Italian, maybe a bottle of wine. They will hand you the wine menu to consider. There is a good variety to choose from. Including a selection of wines from Italy. And that is ideal when you are in an Italian restaurant. Here are wines to review and consider and to discuss with those who might enjoy a glass during the conversations. Taking our time we agreed on having a Ruffino Chianti Classico, 2019. The waiter took the order and we waited. In the meantime we could talk and look at the menu for dinner. Naturally, being Italian, we had to start with appetizers. That is only natural. Appetizers are next. We had placed that order first before selecting what we would have for dinner. First selected was the Fried Calamari and Zucchini. This was warm and slightly breaded as expected. We all tried it. With the first bite we could tell it was fresh. The calamari was caught that day and tasted as it should. Fresh, flavorful and tender. Not over cooked or hard. It was ideal to try. As for the zucchini, which is an interesting combination, that too was fresh and tender. The flavor was not over seasoned. It was as to be expected as if it was the flower of a zucchini. And that is rare to have in many places. Next up was the Eggplant Rollatini. As an appetizer this was not something you expect. You receive several "rolls" which we then sliced so we could all have a try. The sauce was fresh on top. The eggplant was tender and just right. It was stuffed with some meat and seasoning as required. Once the appetizers had arrived we did place our main order. Once more, being from an Italian family we ordered the same way we ate. You just keep eating and talking. First out was the Melanzana Parmigiana ali Hugotine. This was freshly sliced eggplant with melted mozzarella. The top was mixed with fresh spinach which was an interesting touch. This was all marinated in a light marinara sauce. Next came the Lasagnas. These were large slices of a favorite. The freshly made pasta was layers of meat and cheese and sauce and more. Naturally this was topped with a heavy sauce that was richer than a marinara sauce. It too seemed to have a mixture of cheese blended into it. It was not expected to be like this. Fettuccine Carbonara came next. This is not a typical dish in many establishments. But here it was available, and we knew we had to try. This dish is made by cooking bacon, shallots, onion, and garlic, then tossing it with fettuccine pasta and a creamy sauce. The bacon was thick and cut into cube slices. The garlic was light but tasty. The sauce was thick and creamy. You could almost use a spoon to pick up the sauce itself. The we had the fish starting with Snapper Champagne. It was a fresh filet of snapper just caught. It was sauteed in a light and creamy champagne sauce. This was with clam juice and white wine. It was then topped with crabmeat granita. We also had homemade Seafood Raviolis that were filled with shrimp and lobster, then topped with a creamy lobster style seafood sauce. It was arranged with shrimps and muscles. The heavy sauce made you take your time to enjoy each one and you tried each piece of seafood individually. It was different. Dessert was typical. Tiramisu, and on the opposite, we had Oreo Cake. Total piece of chocolate for all who might like chocolate. Finally a Limoncello Cake. It is made with fluffy sponge cake layers, brushed with a limoncello syrup, filled with a thin layer of lemon curd and frosted with a decadent mascarpone and cream cheese frosting. It was also topped with a bit of pecan for an extra touch of taste. The food selection is good and has a good choice to select from. It is not over abundant. The selection is fine and diverse. The prices are reasonable (and sometimes higher than expected, including the wine selection). The dish is plentiful. The sauce is good although, this too, is a bit heavier than expected in other locations or even when in Rome. You can use a spoon to finish it off, or maybe a loaf of bread will help. It is your choice after all. The flavor is good, the right amount of spice and taste. It is all fresh and warm. Ciao / Chow.

Yelp
Food and service was absolutely amazing. Staff was quick and efficient. They even brought out our dessert with a design of a Spider-Man fit my daughters shirt

Yelp
Adorable place that I wish I discovered years ago. One of those authentic, cozy Italian places where you can have warm conversation and great food. Oh, and Pink Bolognese that you'll never stop thinking about.

Yelp
Food and service were outstanding! Our friends treated me to a meal that was mind blowing. The wine recommended was smooth and smoky. It paired well with all our appetizers and we tried them all. Each had its own unique flavors and textures. I had the sea bass for the entree and was blown away by the flavor was coaxed beautifully. I was too full for dessert. I know that I didn't go into details but I will definitely come back to give the owners a hug and a kiss because I am so happy to be there!

Yelp
We walked in with 3 year old child and were greeted at the door by a gentlemen who asked if we had a reservation and when we said no offered a table by the door and before we could even sit proceeded to say if you can't control your child this is not the place for you we have glass plates and cups and if she breaks something it could be a lawsuit. Honestly anyone could break a glass or plate I was very offended by his judging my child and being very rude. So they are not child friendly and that is very sad

Yelp
I've been on the hunt for the best Italian food in Tampa Bay....vino e pasta scored pretty high on my list. The food is very good, but the service was impeccable. The service really took this place over the top. I really appreciated the attention to detail, and the whole experience felt special from start to end! I had the special seafood ravioli dish, and my partner had the chicken parm. My only complaint was the portion sizes were small and the chicken parm wasn't breaded, but that might just be my American showing... Anyways, I really recommend this place for a special, intimate Italian experience. I felt like I was transported to a little gem of a spot in Italy.

Yelp
Original Review You got to keep the owner away from the customers. I took a group of eight there for dinner. He made us wait outside for twenty minutes. After sitting down he offended one of my guests so that she decided to leave. He constantly interfered with the waiters doing their job. He ruined the dinner by intrusively reevaluating the checks the minute the main course was served. I paid full tip to not punish the wait staff, but the owner deserves zero tip and zero stars. Owners response: "Mr. Rene, you are a big liar. You arrived at 7:43 PM and your reservation was at 8:00 PM. I told you that we were organizing the table for you and it took us 5 minutes to do it. It is all recorded on our cameras. You lived with a bad attitude demanding prices from 10 years ago. I can prove with our cameras how was the service from me towards you and your rude behavior towards us. Please do not deal with my restaurant ever again" Clarification - while he clearly is talking about another customer I felt the need to counter his offensive name calling to me: "Eugenio, Luigi, or Luis - whichever name you go by for Yelp - I shouldn't be surprised that this happens to you often enough to mistake my group with a group you had an hour later at 8PM. While it clearly is your personal style to call a guest you mistook a liar, it is really poor customer service. You clearly did not listen when our group pointed out that you were messing up the work of your service staff. They had already taken notes of who had ordered what and kept track of what needed to go on which check. Interrupting our dining experience seconds after the entrees were set on the table with your need to reexamine what needed to go on which check was also a poor dining experience. I'm pretty sure Florida is a two-way-consent state for the recording of conversations. You recording the conversations of your 8 PM guests as well as presumably the conversation we and you had at our table would be illegal. I'll have that checked out for you. Your "tapes" would probably help you avoid making the same mistakes in the future - interrupting guests when they try to tell you what you mixed up, etc. Our experience was not that different from the one you describe with the 8 PM guests. Wouldn't it have easier to say "give me five minutes to ready your table" rather than the abrasive "your reservation isn't till 7"? I highly recommend watching a Seinfeld episode shown on 11/2/1995 about "A soup stand owner obsesses about his customers' ordering procedure". It is a humorous analogy to highlight what goes wrong in your communication with customers as well. I'm sorry we were not the only guest that caught your business practice on pricing; entrees being a third more expensive for in restaurant consumption than for pickup/delivery. Being price transparent would have spared my retired teacher friend the embarrassment having to leave as she isn't able to afford your Sat night in restaurant prices :-( For transparency sake I'd also advise you to let guests know upfront (on the menu, on the website) that you intend to charge a mandatory 22 pct service charge instead of your recommended tip ranges of 35 pct, 30 pct, 25 pct, and the disallowed 20 pct. Obviously none of my guests was rude."

Yelp
They don't seem to have figured out how takeout orders work. One one occasion we had to wait an extra 45 minutes, and most recently, we arrived after the estimated pickup time to find that the order was never placed. This isn't even a top 5 Italian restaurant in South Tampa based on food quality, so considering the service, it's a hard pass imo.

Yelp
Took my parents for their anniversary and we were very excited based on the reviews. Cute place, but it got very loud. Needs some acoustic tiles or something on the ceiling. Parking is terrible. The food was decent overall, but I will say the Fried Calamari and Zucchini app was excellent, as was the Tiramisu. The bread was lacking, which is a huge disappointment for an Italian restaurant to me, and I had to ask for it, and they literally gave 5 thin slices for 5 people. Did not ask if we wanted more bread. For the price, I'd like a bit more food, even if just pasta. Average price per person was $45, if you don't count the kids meal (which was $15), for one bowl of pasta fagioli, a fried calamari and zucchini app, a veal Parm, chicken Parm, chicken piccata (which had like 4 capers total), and linguine with white clam sauce (they did give a good amount of clams at least), plus 1 tiramisu to go and a coke. No alcohol or other drinks. I don't mind paying a premium for great food, but I was literally hungry by the time I got home again (and I ate most of my son's meal!). The kids meal was a small bit of breaded chicken, and he got veggies. No sauce was included, or offered. It was okay, but it needed something else. Service was a bit disjointed, like one person didn't know what the other was doing. And while I understand they have a very small kitchen, the plates coming out staggered was a bit annoying. My wife's plate was on the table probably 10 minutes before the last plate was down, and she politely waited to eat because that's what you do. We were offered Parmesan cheese when there were only two plates down, and then they never came back with it. Based on the previous reviews and how long they've been open (I remember when it first opened!) we were so excited to finally get to try it, and I don't think we'd go back. I am not angry we went, as the food tasted decent enough, but I am very disappointed because we had such high hopes. If I'm paying a premium, I'd rather go to Caffe Italia in Riverview (the former chef/owner of The Laughing Cat in Ybor), because while up there in price, they give a tremendous meal in both portion size and taste. Or Piccola on MLK, which has amazing food too!

Yelp
This place was SO good! I've past it so many times and finally decided to go in. The service was great and quick. The bread was delicious. The chicken piccata and pasta on the side was so delicious I almost licked the plate. It was also one of the best tres leches i've ever had. I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
My roommate and I lived South of Gandy (SOG for lyfe) for a year, and we loved our quiet and fresh location. We drove by this place everyday, but didn't think to come here until we found it on Groupon. The restaurant truly felt like you were dining in Italy! The servers were Italian and knew the menu like the back of their hand. The ambiance was candlelit, with an Italian singer and piano player At every Italian place, I am a sucker for their Chicken Parmesan. This one did not disappoint. The noodles were Penne instead of traditional spaghetti, but it was delicious. I loved the fresh mozzarella cheese on top as well. I usually have leftovers at Italian restaurants, but I ate every single bite - it was too good not to! PRO TIP: The parking lot is incredibly small for this fine establishment. I had to park across the street and walk over.

Yelp
Our second visit to Vino E Pasta was much better. It started out poorly. We walked in at 8:40PM, and there was some debate among the servers as to whether or not they would seat us, as they close at 9. However, ultimately, they sat us, and the food came out very quickly. The setting is comfortable. On that Saturday night, they had a cellist. We brought our own wine, as their wine list has mainly very young wines. Corkage is $21. We started with the calamari. It was fine. Then my husband and daughter both had the pasta alla vodka (they do half portions of their pasta for children). They both loved it (my daughter says it's better than mine, but my husband disagrees -- smart man). I had the veal saltimbocca. It was very good. For dessert, I had the tiramisu, and my husband had the cheesecake. We both enjoyed our desserts. When the waiter (Dario) heard that my daughter had just placed in her cheer competition, he brought out a congratulatory cannoli for her dessert and also serenaded her on his guitar. What a lovely experience for her!

Yelp
Vino E Pasta has been one of our favorite place to celebrate special occasions and we have visited Vino E Pasta 3-4 tiles and every-time we had wonderful time at Vino E Pasta. The ambiance of the restaurant is amazing and we have always loved the ambiance plus the professionalism of the servers always ready to help out. The service has always been great and we have always loved their food especially try out the specials along with the deserts which we have loved it. Amazing and beautiful place to visit especially for date's because the atmosphere has always been romantic and amazing.

Yelp
Wow, I've been coming here for years and just realized I somehow hadn't posted a review yet. This is hands-down, my favorite Italian place family run, and a great time. Everything is delicious and all you could ask for and had a cello playing last time we were in there for dinner. We travel almost an hour to eat here with a couple of our friends and it's worth it every single time. 5 stars all day.

Yelp
Nice little restaurant with a very upscale vibe on Gandy. The food is delicious, the ambience is "cozy" or "romantic", the service is excellent. I have only been there for lunch. Parking is tight

Leesa M.

Yelp
Don't serve food that you would not serve your own family, to go orders should be handled with as much care as if I was dining in your restaurant. The first time was 5 years ago this is the second and still not up to standards won't be a third. I can take the attitude, do better. It won't let me.posr pictures so that speaks for it's self. SMH. Here some additional, I originally ordered on line however the website is extremely shady. Had I been able to order online for pickup it would have been 45.00 bucks, BUT... I had to call in.and it went to 60 bucks. Not acceptable.

Yelp
The Food was Fabulous! I ordered the seafood pasta plater! Wow paired with red sparkly sweet wine was amazing and last, but not least the garlic toast out of this world. The service here at this wonderful family restaurant was beautiful and you could see them catering to you with love. And what else can I say about the ambience the music environment? The friendly people, classy people you see them smiling and enjoying the night. I had ordered my food to go however, as I was sitting by the bar, feeling beautiful as always I met great people there and decided to eat there a long there side. Super fun for a Friday night Dinner " alone " wow Bravo Love IG/Twitter 1FoxyNight

Yelp
Excellent food, wine, and service! A definite winner. Eggplant Parmesan and bread were just delicious.

Yelp
Truly a hidden gem. My husband and I went here for an impromptu mid-week date night and were so pleasantly surprised. The value is incredible and the service was friendly and warm. They make it easy to support their small family-owned business--I can't wait to go back. The pink bolognese was incredible as was the pasta fagiole soup. The portions are huge and the prices (both food and wine) are reasonable.

Yelp
I was so hoping that Vino E Pasta would live up to the reviews, and it did not disappoint! We brought a bottle of our favorite red wine, I believe the corkage was something like $20... Very reasonable, but they also have a pretty good wine list. My husband loves chicken Parmesan and so that's what he ordered, I'm not a huge fan of red sauce so I asked the waiter about making me something special with a pesto... And they gladly obliged by creating a Pesto Fettuccine for me... which was knock your socks off delicious!! We ended the night with Tres Leche and Lemoncello cake... getting both was a huge splurge but we had to try them both. We left full and happy with a few to go boxes. This is a great spot if you're looking to impress or celebrating a special occasion.

Yelp
Great date night spot in Tampa! The food was amazing!! I got the pork parm special with their pasta of the day (penne vodka) and it was delicious! My boyfriend got snapper in champagne sauce with crab meat on top which was also so good. As we ate a cellist played live music. The service was incredible, they even gave me a rose on my way out. Truly the perfect end to the perfect date night! I will definitely be back!

Yelp
19 Jun 2024, this was our first time trying this little restaurant. We don't live in Tampa, but passed by this restaurant one day. So we decided to do some research and check out some of its reviews. Well, Wow! What a great place to eat. The service and food was outstanding! We started with a recommended appetizer of "Burrata," yummy it was...some greens with a cheese like dumpling with a tasty wonderful balsamic dressing. Our entrees included Lasagna, Veal Marsala and a side of Spaghetti Carbonara. The entrees were delish, well prepared and flavorful. Our two desserts included an order of Lemoncello and Pistachio Cake...yum-yum. Yes! No doubt, we would recommend this place to all. Thanks to all the staff at Vino E. Pasta for a wonderful meal and experience.

Yelp
The food was delicious, as per usual, and the service has improved a bit since my last visit. When I was dining there was a live cellist that truly added to the evening. My go-tos still include the Fried Calamari & Zucchini and Pink Princess Pasta. This time, we enjoyed the specials: a seafood ravioli accompanied by assorted seafood in the shell, and lamb chops in a barolo wine sauce with fettuccine alfredo. Definitely did not pass up the tiramisu to finish off the evening.

We went for Easter dinner last year and liked it so much that we already made reservations for Easter dinner this year. All 10 of us. Excellent service and food!

Yelp
Rene B submitted a review about our dinner Saturday night and was then called a liar by the owner. The review is accurate and Rene is not a liar. The owner said his prices changed because of the pandemic. That's a lie. The pandemic was five years ago and I have been multiple times since then and the menu was not what we were presented on Saturday. The server was asked at the beginning of the meal about separating checks and indicated it wasn't a problem. 5 entrees were served and then the owner is asking everyone exactly what they ordered. Before all plates had been served. Before guests had tasted their food. Despite this inappropriate intrusion, the checks still had to be redone three times at the end of the meal. I ordered a child's pasta. If the server had said that was a problem, I would have paid for the caprese and left. But he didn't. Then was charged for a full size pasta. Seriously!?- $28 for aglio e oglio? No protein. You must be having to pay expensive south tampa rent. A simple pasta dish is not worth that. The owner says to me: "well you ate it and didn't say anything"- #1- how am I supposed to know? #2- that's your mistake, not mine. He did adjust the price and he did remove the illegally charged 22%. But it was such a fight and a very unpleasant overall experience. In spite of the food itself being good.

Yelp
Sunday night family dinner at vino e pasta was a nice relaxing way to end the weekend and head into a new week! We had a reservation for 6 pm and I'm glad we did because by 7 it was pretty full. Not pictured but we got the lobster bisque as an app and it was DELICIOUS. So creamy so savory and so full of flavor. I don't think I could have finished one alone, but very good nonetheless. For mains we did exclusively pasta dishes- seafood ravioli was a special, carbonara as well as the mussels and clams linguine in the white sauce. Biggest issue was that the carbonara was less carbonara and more Alfredo sauce which I wasn't expecting at all. It was still tasty but I was hoping for carbonara so a bit disappointed. Favorite was definitely the clams and mussels linguine. Perfect sauce, perfect flavor, and nearly finished the whole thing. Seafood ravioli was solid but in my opinion very expensive for the portion size and I wasnt a huge fan of the sauce. Shared a tiramisu for dessert amongst three people, it was good but nothing out of the ordinary. The vibes here are quite charming, servers very kind and attentive and all around just a pleasant experience. I found it to be a bit steep, bill came to 150 pre tip for three but i had a great experience regardless

Yelp
vino e pasta has the perfect italian ambiance that reminds me of home, which is why it's turned into a staple restaurant for us. every time we visit, the experience is just as wonderful as the last. the noodles are consistently delicious, and you can tell they put so much care into every dish. what really sets this place apart is the personal touch. the owner is always so warm and welcoming, and he never fails to comp us a glass of wine, and a cute rose, making the meal feel even more special. it's the kind of place that keeps you coming back, not just for the food but for the atmosphere and genuine hospitality. we truly look forward to every visit!

Yelp
This is a small cozy Italian restaurant. Parking is a bit of a challenge, but it is worth a visit. I love the ambience.

Lisa M.

Yelp
I ordered food to go from here as I have driven by a few times. Unfortunately my shrimp salad did not include any salad dressing, was hot by the time I received it and the shrimp were undercooked so much, almost raw/transparent that there was no way I could eat the salad without risking food poisoning. I'm disgusted my appetite was ruined by this and the smell of nasty seafood. Please don't serve seafood that smells fishy that means it's either bad/about to expire or hasn't been stored properly! I also ordered the gnocchi with bolognese sauce and was mediocre at best. Perhaps my appetite was spoiled...I was honestly scared to even take a bite because if you are undercooking old seafood, what other health issues are happening in your kitchen? I don't have time in my life for food poisoning. I'm Italian, I love food, I love trying new restaurants and I am DEEPLY DISAPPOINTED and down right pissed. If you can't make food properly you shouldn't even be in the restaurant business.

Yelp
hands down some of the best food I've ever eaten. An experience I'll never regret. This needs to be your post for all anniversary dinners ! Bring the person you love here, you will not regret it

Yelp
This is my Dad's only restaurant request when he visits Tampa. Vino E Pasta should get five stars for the ambiance. From the outside you would never guess it's cozy, unassuming demeanor. Walk in to Luigi greeting you like a long lost family member and finding you a perfect table for two just an arm's reach from the live pianist playing a soft, contemporary twist on Moon River, what feels like a serenade meant only for you. We had a glass of Pinot Noir while we enjoyed the bread basket and homemade pesto. For entrees, the Chicken Parmigiana with a side of veggies, and the Penne in Vodka sauce. Entrees run you about $25 for the chicken dishes and $35 for the veal. We finished every bite. The waiter even brings a red rose for all the females with the check. Right now they are running a Groupon where you can spend $12 and get $24 towards two entrees.

Yelp
Food was a little bit overpriced for what it's worth but we still enjoyed our dishes and liked the experience. We got the carbonara and chicken parm. The ambiance was cute and we were given roses! The server sang to us too. I would recommend coming here for a fun date.

Yelp
Passed by Vino E Pasta many times. Finally decided to go and it was hands down some of the best Italian I have had in Tampa. The service is incredible. We will be back again and again.

All the ladies received #redroses . Our chairs were pulled out, our napkins draped over our laps, and doors were opened for us. #delicious place to eat for a #foodie or #foody and celebrate a #birthday!

Yelp
Vino E Pasta offers authentic Italian dishes in an intimate setting. My girl friends and I went for dinner on a Tuesday night. The building shares a parking lot with Bull Market and Big Island Poke. The only entrance to turn into the lot is off Hines. For easier maneuverability, I suggest parking in the Publix lot and walking over to the restaurant. Inside, there are lots of tables, but somewhat tightly packed. The tables are mostly 4-tops, but they could accommodate larger parties with a reservation. All of the servers are very courteous and we had a wonderful evening. We started our meal by sharing a Caprese Salad. Four adults easily shared the appetizer. The fresh mozzarella is the star of the dish. On the low, I could easily eat that entire plate by myself because I LOVE cheese. I ordered the Cannelloni Chicken as my entree. It is a baked rolled pasta stuffed with chicken and veggies, and marinara light cream sauce on top. The portions are huge! The cannelloni is very filling, and there's not too much dough compared to other pasta choices. I enjoyed the sauce the most. I also ordered two dishes to go: the Lasagna and Veal Picatta. The Lasagna is made with mixed ground beef and Italian sausage in princess sauce. The meat has this sharp kick to it; it's very yummy! This dish was my favorite of the three that I tried. The Veal Picatta is thin cut veal sautéed in white wine, lemon juice, butter, diced tomatoes and capers. The sauce in this dish is lighter and the tartness is refreshing. It comes with a side of vegetables or the daily pasta. The veal is cooked tender and kept juicy. For a bit more protein, go with one of the veal dishes. I thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Vino E Pasta. They have a wonderful wine list to go with your meal, which I would love to come back and try some wines. Check online for deals or a Groupon to save even more on your meal!

Yelp
It was time for a date night with my lovely bride. We wanted to try something new and different than usual spots. I got online and search for good date night restaurants in Tampa. Vino E Pasta was on several of the lists and it seemed like our kind of place. When we arrived, it was not what I expected. It was a small building, by itself, at a very busy intersection. For me, it was a spot out of time, a throw back to the great restaurants of my youth in the San Francisco Bay Area. It was cute, and charming on the outside, and only better once you walked in. The ambience was terrific. You feel almost transported to Italy. Having love my time in Italy, I was very pleased with Vino E Pasta. The staff was wonderful, friendly, professional, and attentive. Multiple staff members checked with us throughout the night. There was music that fit the restaurant perfectly and just added that last little bit to make this a 5 star + dining experience. The food was the star of the night. I would have paid for the bread service, it was that good. Loved the pesto. The appetizer, it was a special and I didn't get the name, was incredible. Stuffed pasta with cheese and pear and their incredible pink sauce. Just wow. Sell that sauce and their bread and watch people flock to this gem. My wife had the salmon special with shrimp, and I had the champagne snapper. Both were great choices. Unfortunately, we did not have room for dessert. Next time. There are two points I feel I need to make. This is high quality dining and it is not inexpensive. The expression you get what you pay for applies here. From start to finish, this was a great dining experience in every way. It was not cheap, but we did order some of the most expensive items they serve. It was completely worth it. Second, their menu is different than online, so be aware they might not have everything you see online. Overall, I love this place. We will be back, bringing friends next time. It is a shame I have only seen Vino E Pasta on great date restaurants. It is a great date place, but is also the kind of place that you bring friends to enjoy a great meal, a bottle of wine, and time in a place that takes you back to a time with quality and service meant something. This is a restaurant that gets it. So get yourself to Vino E Pasta.

Yelp
This place is so yummy. Great authentic Italian place. Every food item I have had is amazing. The place is very small - so can get quite busy on weekends. Our server was great and made our night personable. He even played us a song on the guitar as a thank you for coming in. The place is very much a family, personal feel! I will definitely be back.

Yelp
Amazing food. Great value for $ on lunch specials. Fish is fresh. My son loved the bolognese , and the Princess sauce with the side pasta is spot on. Gonna be my regular lunch spot for sure!

Yelp
If you've been wanting authentic exceptional Italian food, you have to come here. The food was so good that we forgot to take pictures and remembered to take some of dessert. Our appetizer was a special stuffed ravioli with princess sauce, so delicious! My husband ordered lasagna which was phenomenal and I ordered the salmon topped with crab, which was just made to perfection. The desserts are wonderful and even the esspresso and cappuccino are super delicious. If you're a wine fan, you will not be disappointed, they have a massive wine menu to choose from. I ordered the Moscato, the oak and my husband a Pino noir, both lovely. The atmosphere is great for date night but sure to be a hit for a Friends group dinner outing. This is a family restaurant that makes you feel right at home with the warm welcome, friendly smiling faces, exceptional customer service and great attention to detail. A lot of love went into the food and the atmosphere so be sure to take it all in and enjoy the experience. What a find!

Yelp
Why 4 stars? Because we didn't leave with any complaints. --- --- --- I was recently at Bull Market next door and was admiring Vino E Pasta as I drove by. It looked like the kind of place my wife and I would love and the reviews matched that assumption. I quickly sent her the listing and said that we should check it out in the near future. About a week later, we found ourselves here for dinner. Once we were seated, they took our temperature and gave us hand sanitizer. I found that to be pretty silly considering what we know about the pandemic at this point, but to each their own, I guess? Looking at the menu, two things jumped out as unique to me. And I ordered both of them. On the appetizer menu, there was a limoncello seafood salad. I love limoncello. I love seafood. And I love salad. I did not love the combination of all three together. I didn't hate it either - it just had some very intense flavoring. I would not need to order it again. But my favorite part of the menu is that the pasta section was essentially all "Build Your Own." They provide a few different types of pasta, a few different sauces and whichever protein you'd like to add. I'm surprised more Italian restaurant don't offer this, considering they have all of these ingredients available. I opted for the fettuccine with pink sauce and shrimp and was very happy with my choice. My wife went with the Cannelloni Chicken, which was a dish I've never had before, but we both enjoyed. We've had Italian restaurants in the area that we've enjoyed a tad more, but we were quite pleased with our experience here and will be rooting them on!

Yelp
I'm going to start off by saying we've been here a handful of times. We came here for my mom's mother day dinner and had the whole family out. I was disappointed by the service of our waiter. we constantly had to ask for water refills. Our server played 3-4 songs on the guitar to other tables and didn't really take care of us. The owner after awhile finally came up and started to make things right for us. Food was great and we love coming here we just wish the service was on point. If it wasn't for the owner I definitely wouldn't have been happy. Take care of your table then go sing and entertain customers. Other than that we love coming here and we won't let the hit or miss service stop us from coming.

Yelp
Absolutely great food and service here. Old school Italian restaurant. Not a big place. 12-15 tables. Would definitely recommend making a reservation. The chicken Marsala and Picatta are banging!
