The 14 Best Restaurants At Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"This wine-centric chain isn’t unique to Atlanta, but they’ve partnered with Southern National to bring down-home flair to their ATL menu. It’s a long trek to the very end of Concourse T, so if you have yet to invest in a bag with wheels this journey might be what tips the scales. But we’d gladly make this expedition to enjoy a calmer section of the airport as we dig into upscale Southern dishes like their lamb ragu with tasty ground lamb, al dente rigatoni, and a light dusting of parmesan. If you really want to start vacation early, pair it with The Brookhaven for a burst of cool, refreshing cucumber tinged with gin and St. Germain. While it’s not quite as good as the Summerhill spot, we’d still clear it for takeoff." - demarco williams, nina reeder, juli horsford, jacinta howard

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Vino Volo at the end of Terminal T in Atlanta Airport is a fantastic spot to relax before a flight. The atmosphere is cozy and sophisticated, providing a great escape from the busy terminal. The service was excellent—friendly and attentive. I had the burger, which was cooked to absolute perfection, and it was one of the best airport meals I’ve had in a long time. The cocktails were also well-crafted and hit the mark. Best old fashioned 😋 Whether you’re a wine lover or just looking for good food and drinks in a relaxing environment, Vino Volo is a must-visit. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re flying through ATL!

Google
****** breakfast review only****** I’m giving it 4 stars because I’ve eaten at a Vino Volo for lunch before and it was good. This time we had breakfast and it was not great. Avocado toast was mediocre, ended up just eating the eggs on top. Spicy ham sandwich was bland and not flavorful.

Google
Had a long wait before a flight and Trevor and the rest of the team made my stay very comfortable, hospitable, and delicious. The salmon entree was really good, and Trevor makes a great old fashioned and excellent conversation to boot! I'll be back and see you all soon!

Google
I ordered the braised beef short ribs and was pleasantly surprised by food quality and presentation. They were extremely kind with accommodating a gluten allergy and dairy allergy. Our server was wonderful and friendly!

Google
What I like about Vino Volo is that it really is a nice wine experience, in an airport, with reasonable quality food. The wine selection is great. We had both the red and white wine flights. The staff is friendly and helpful. Wine selection is great.

Google
My daughter and I found ourselves facing a three hour delay at the Atlanta airport recently. We debated about where to have a meal and pass the time and settled on Vino Volo, and I’m so glad we did! Everything from the food, to the music, to the general vibe was wonderful. But what made it really special was the service provided by Muid. Not only was he pleasant and efficient, but he was kind and genuinely interested in offering a memorable experience. Thank you, Muid, for making two weary travelers actually enjoy their wait. If you’re in need of a good meal and great service, Vino Volo is a must-do!

Google
Had some time in the Atlanta airport and used the plane train to go to concourse T. Vino Volo was the perfect spot- a little quieter. Shared a bottle of wine and excellent burgers/fries just the way we like them. Jada was personable and made our afternoon enjoyable delay after flight delay. Definitely will be back!

Google
The food was in incredible. I had the salmon and as a pescatarian-i was floored. Staff were so warm and sweet. Wow! This was not typical airport food or service. Don’t miss out!!!

Yelp
Wanted a good breakfast before boarding plane. Don't let the name & look fool you, it's a restaurant also, with breakfast & lunch/dinner. This breakfast platter was only $16 It came out fast, hot and so yummy. 2 eggs, 2 pieces bacon, sourdough toast and potato wedges. I am full. Great breakfast, and I do not mean "great for an airport" . Very good! Very large bar area, and plenty of tables to sit at. Large TV in bar. Music playing, makes you feel less alone when traveling as such IMO. My service experience was friendly & attentive. Going to be traveling to Atlanta more. I definitely will be back. Great place.

Yelp
The burger was lean, which I appreciated. The lettuce was kind of sad, but whatever. The fries were not greasy, which again, I appreciated. But also pretty bland. The thing that gets me with this airport, every time, is the service. I thought I had plenty of time, but after waiting for my food for 30 minutes, when the restaurant was not busy, I said, "Can I just have my check so that when I get my food, I can head out?" The ambiance was nice, that's what made me sit down there, I thought, "This looks good!" If/when I'm back, I'd eat there again, but even if the restaurant is not busy, allow yourself a minimum of an hour.

Yelp
Great location in the ATL airport. Evidently, they use some wines from Wade Cellars (Dwayne Wade) so really liked the concept. Issue: Ordered the fried chicken sandwich and it was absolutely disgusting. Greasy & possibly undercooked with no flavor. Waitress said it was dark meat...you're telling me you're not serving chicken breast? Giving it 2 stars as the place is looks cool & has a good selection of wines/drinks (probably better after 5:00 pm) and service was okay. Waitress offered to bring me something else but I decided to pass on any other possibility of getting "undercooked" food. No, they did not remove it from my tab so I paid full price (no problem but not even a manager or cook came out to ask about the meal) so just paid and got on my flight. I would go back but definitely 100% pass on the fried chicken. How they can mess up on fried chicken in the South this bad is wild!

Yelp
While the energy was great and had a inviting feel to the place I cant say that through and through with the employees. I ordered a pizza from a place next to them and brought it to sit down at their place. They told me I had to order something there in order to stay, which is reasonable. I don't drink, so I ordered a soda. Diana, a waitress/bartender apparently has something against people being sober. She asked what my order was and I told her a soda and her immediate response was, "EWWW". Loud enough to make people turn around and look over. Afterwards. Diana never looked at me or attended me again. Someone else brought over the drink. Very unprofessional and way to make a guest feel unwelcomed. Hopefully the management is better and will try to make sure everyone is judged equally no matter how large or small the tab is. Which is really what probably stemmed from.

Yelp
We sat at the bar and had lunch before flying out. Hayley greeted us and served us drinks. Diana came and took our order. I went with the slow roasted creole salmon and she had the burrata bowl. Her burrata bowl looked so good. Fresh and light, colorful. She did like it. My salmon came with Italian farro and green beans, tomato and creole sauce. Salmon was well cooked and not dry. And the sauce had a spice to it. Soooo good. The bar was fun to sit at because we could converse with Hayley and Diana. They are personable and friendly and we had fun chatting. Recommend as a place to eat before a flight.

Yelp
Quick and great service. Chicken sandwich was delicious and the Pizza. Good place to eat before you board gates t20-21

Yelp
The ambiance is fine for an airport. The wine selection was smaller than others I've visited. But the kitchen was closed at 7:30 which was the big disappointment after going out of our way to visit. The server was helpful, offering alternative suggestions.

Theopha W.

Yelp
The food was good, servicewas better, but my server Diana was awesome. And it was close to my gate, had enought time to the restroom.

Yelp
Vino Volo is one of my favorite airport restaurants! Their house salad was absolutely fantastic!! I also ordered some french fries which were good. The drinks are very expensive (as are most airport drinks) but the great food made up for the prices. You do seat yourself so it can be tough to find a table when the airport is busy, but if you hover around, you can typically get a table fairly quickly.

Yelp
We had arrived at the airport a bit early and wanted to eat dinner before we got on a long flight. Vino Volo was nearby and we were seated right away. I wasn't expecting much from an airport restaurant but honestly it was rather tasty. I ordered some sort of caprese and/or prosciutto type sandwich and I enjoyed it a lot! It was flavorful and not super overwhelming. The side salad was also nicely dressed although I did ask for a salt shaker. Our waiter wasn't exactly the most attentive so it was a bit hard to flag him down for anything. The person working the bar was super nice though when I asked for a salt shaker. They were also cool with us chilling for a bit longer at the table. Overall, was pleasantly surprised and I would be open to trying them again.

Yelp
Excellent food options for breakfast lunch or dinner. Full bar. Friendly fast service. The food was delicious. My husband had the avocado toast and the peach parfait. Yum! And the music!! Wow, love it.

Yelp
Trucked over from terminal A to the far end of terminal T to the new Vino Volo location. This is by far the largest space we have visited in trip to multiple airports. This spot has a full bar! The staff and service were great, and although the burger and lamb ragu were pretty good the small plate menu we have enjoyed at other locations was not as good. Wine prices are even higher here, and may deter all but the most zealous wine lovers to head elsewhere.

Kaylyn M.

Yelp
The service was great. That's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 3. I'll start with the wine. I ordered a glass of Pinot Grigio, but there were no notes on the menu, and if I had known it would be so dry I would not have gotten it. I should have asked, I guess, though I'm used to seeing flavor notes on a wine list. I ordered the bruschetta, expecting the tomato, basil, and "balsamic glaze" that was listed on the menu. When it came out, I was pretty upset that there was what seemed to be balsamic dressing coated HEAVILY on the sourdough bread, in addition to the glaze on top of the basil and tomatoes. Also, the tomatoes were cherry tomatoes just sliced in half... odd. I ate maybe 3 bites (this is in part due to me being picky but I wish it had been specified on the menu). I ordered the braised beef short ribs for my entree & the beef was very tasty and tender. I've never seen purple potatoes before though - not sure about that. The broth was good, but the "roasted" potatoes could have been crispier. The peas were also yummy. Overall, I would probably give it a 3.5/5. 2.5 of those are for the service and 1 is for the food - if not for the kindness and attentiveness of my waiter, I would've rated my time much lower. My bill was $61, for the appetizer, entree, and 1 glass of wine. I probably won't dine here again :/

Yelp
I typically don't eat at airport restaurants, but after my experience at Vino Volo, I might do it more often. I had no expectations of it being good, but in a nutshell, I ate one of the best burgers I've had in a while! Service was prompt and friendly. I sat at a table, but the bar area was set up nicely, and the bartenders chatted with the patrons as if they knew each other. After enjoying a bottle of beer, I decided on a cheeseburger with fries. I was surprised when my server asked me how I wanted it cooked. Honestly, I doubted it would be cooked the way I wanted because it rarely happens that way whenever I order a burger. Anyway, I ordered it medium-rare. The burger was cooked perfectly and seasoned well, and the fries were crisp and hot!!! The fries weren't coated like so many restaurants do these days. Coating fries with cornstarch is a pet peeve of mine. It's just a way for restaurants to keep them crispy despite being cold. I was so satisfied with my meal that I would seek out Vino Volo whenever I fly. You won't find this restaurant on airport maps or lists yet since I read it opened Dec. 23, 2023. It's in the new United Airlines extension in Concourse T.

Yelp
Tomato brochette was good but honestly way too many tomato's. But very good. Wife had the tomato mozzarella pizzeria and I tried a piece. Tasted like fresh ingredients but would say a bit too much cheese. Be good as well I had the vino volo burger and fries. Fries were cooked too fast and a bit under in the middle. It was evident the burger was a frozen burger and was cooked unevenly. Asked for medium. One end was medium and the other was well done. Tough to do with a frozen premade patty. Overall good but I'd avoid the burger.

Jaime S.

Yelp
Trevor and Diana were great hosts . excellent service and great hospitality met some great people and enjoyed the food and drink

Yelp
Context of airport food. This place actually has a nice menu and quality food. A large set of taps and a good craft beer selection. Had a breakfast sandwich with prosciutto and egg that was delish. Airport food is hard to judge but this is one of the better choices. Service at the bar was stellar. Cool place.

Yelp
My flight was boarding on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at 7:00 PM. I arrived at Vino Volo around 6:25 PM and asked the server if I could finish eating by then. They assured me I could, so I placed my order. Service was fast--I finished my meal, paid by 6:54 PM, and made it to my gate on time. I really appreciated how efficiently they accommodated my schedule. The only improvement I'd suggest is adding more vegan options. As someone who prefers plant-based meals, I was disappointed that the only burger available was a steak burger. A vegan alternative would be a great addition.

Ben C.

Yelp
Forgot the appetizer. Chicken sandwich was a bit suspect (raw, maybe). Bruschetta was way too simple. Service was great.

Yelp
Nice restaurant in the airport! I ordered a wine flight it was very good selections of wine! I also only ordered fries and they came out very crispy. I came in and was immediately greeted and my order was taken! Service is excellent! I highly recommend this spot if your gate is near here.

Dan G.

Yelp
Second visit for breakfast as I am trying to leave Atlanta. Service is so bad. Asked for Ice Water and Coffee. The bartender said they only had bottled water. No thanks, don't need the addition $4! Remember this is an airport restaurant! It's been 23 minutes since I ordered and I don't have any food OR a refill of coffee! There are 3 people at the bar! I'm sure the girls will pep up later in the day, bit of you have to be here, why not give a little effort. Once the food arrived, it wasn't bad.

Vanessa V.

Yelp
My dad and I were looking for something to eat before our flight and this place caught his eye. We sat down at 11 am, the service was very fast and we got finished our meal by 11:40. We had Diana as our server and she was the best. When I couldn't decide which wine to get she helped me pick the Georgia wine flight. It was soo sweet and good. The breakfast menu ended earlier so we got lunch but they had good options available. There is bar seating avaible and table seating also. Ambiance was calm and not loud.

Yelp
AVOID AVOID AVOID. Thirty minutes at a table with no one even acknowledging our presence, much less taking an order. I finally ask someone passing by: "do I have a server?" Answer: "Yes, but you sat at a table that had just left, so we need a minute." Me: "Your host told me to sit here ... and it's been 30." AVOID. By the way, I love Vino Volo - every location but this one.

Yelp
What an excellent establishment with good fresh food and the customer service is wonderful. Our waiter MUID was most pleasant! This is what most airports are missing. The ambience was very quaint and relaxing.

Yelp
I stopped here with an hour to kill before my flight. I ordered a Bloody Mary. Now , I like salt but this was beyond!!! I asked if they could add a splash of tomato and he said that would require opening a big can. He offered ice and I declined. I ordered an arugula salad with shaved parmesan and a lemon vinaigrette. After almost 40 minutes of waiting, I inquired. I got a bowl of arugula with maybe a handful of shaved Parmesan. There were a bunch if rotten pieces and it was tossed in oil with no seasoning. I had to ask for salt and pepper, which were clogged and I had to open the bottom to get seasoning. So, I paid $20 for a terrible drink and $14 for a bowl of lettuce that you can buy at Aldi's for $2.50. They didn't give me a detailed receipt only that showed tips starting at 18%. Save your money and time ( barely made my flight) and spend your money elsewhere.

Tommy S.

Yelp
This place is amazing! The best breaded chicken sandwich I have ever had in my life! Highly recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
Not many choices in Terminal T. Asked for a glass of water with my burger yesterday at 1:30 pm.. Was told it would cost $7 since they are not allowed to serve tap water. This is a joke I thought but no. Male bartender was nice. Burger ok. Female bartender/server was flat out nasty. Fire that woman today! Good luck if you're stuck in terminal T.

Yelp
Wow, what a surprise! I am a long time Vino Volo supporter and did not know there was one in Atlanta. I was heading to New York and needed a quick bite to eat. I walked down to Starbucks and behold there was a huge Vino Volo sign next to Starbucks. I enjoyed a Cabernet Flight and the Burrata Bowl. My server Trevor was very knowledgeable and the manager Erik delivered my food to me and made sure I was ok. We had a quick discussion and this location is only a few months old. So far, so good. Looking forward to visiting every time I fly out. Keep up the good work! Cheers!

Squid D.

Yelp
5 stars only on the wine selection. They serve natural wine as well as good quality old world wine, not just the Californian wines which is extremely rare in airports. Definitely would come back. They do have fruit flies flying around... but I was so impressed with the diversity of the wine list that can easily be ignored.

Devnie J.

Yelp
Jon & James were the best we could've asked for! Amazing cocktails, amazing energy, and perfect service! 10/10 recommend.

Hayley B.

Yelp
I loved Jada! She was very knowledgeable about all the wines. I was able catch to a quick quality wine at the T gates before my flight. I will definitely be back!

Aisjha J.

Yelp
Jada is amazing!! Very knowledgeable and soo sweet. Ask for her coming back for sure

Katherine C.

Yelp
The food is as expected for airports, but the drinks and service were great. Andrea was wonderful. I was stuck in the airport for a majority of the day waiting for a flight that eventually got moved to the next day, and whenever I had to leave to check my flight with the gate she always made sure my drink was covered, even when I didn't get a chance to notify her. She was super kind and understanding. 10/10.
google avatar

Cameron K.

Yelp
Good for a quick drink before a flight. I had a small fry and a Moscow mule with cranberry. The bartender was friendly and made you feel welcome.

Rons51 5.

Yelp
Very slow service, ordered a burger and a beer. Took 45 minutes for the burger, never got the beer, just took s water.

Lex M.

Yelp
Diana was awesome! Like Princess Diana *insider* she gave us great service as well as the other bartender. I got the Old nearest bourbon cocktail, solid 9.7/10. Thank y'all for the experience dining at the airport can be touch and go lol

Doc C.

Yelp
Wonderful! from the attentiveness to allergies, ease of flow while waiting for flight, quality of food, warmth of service and robust knowledge of wines.. my brief but memorable time here made a difference while traveling today and managing many challenging matters. grateful for manager Eric, server Diana and Trevor at check out for your thoughtfulness and service.

Madison W.

Yelp
Diana and Jada provided such a warm environment we really enjoyed our food, drinks and conversation. Thanks Atlanta

Kerry R.

Yelp
Don't bother unless you're just heading in for a drink. 30 minutes and no arugula salad with chicken. And pretty sure my waiter just went on break. Since I left with no food being delivered not sure it's a fair review

Brennan L.

Yelp
Super slow service and meh food. Took 15 min to order and another 30 to get a cheeseburger and fries. You have an airport to explore. Don't waste your time here.

Melisa V.

Yelp
The wine menu is outstanding and the service is just the same. Diana was great and suggested we get a bottle of wine which was a better price than us ordering by the glass. Food recommendations were also spot on. We had the lamb, Ragu and the short ribs and it truly was five stars..

Jul G.

Yelp
the service was great the service was amazing at all time. no attitude at any giving moment I will recommend i pass hours in a his place because my flight was delayed many time that I spend 4 hour also the food was pretty good recommend from Diana who work in vino voló pretty respectful too.
