The Best Food at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) | Eater New Orleans

"MSY’s first dedicated wine bar (part of a national chain) serving domestic and international wines by the glass, flight, and bottle, plus small plates for lunch and dinner; all dishes are available to go, and travelers who buy screw-cap bottles of wine can take them on their flight. (Outside Concourse B)" - Clair Lorell

Sat down and Kischa came and gave us menus. We glanced at it and were trying to decide what we wanted. She came back and asked for our order. We told her we needed a few more minutes to order. She then went into her spiel about we had to order or leave. I understand that this is at the airport and you're expected to order if sitting there, and we were planning on ordering Wine and Food but at that point, nope! Got a water and sat there until our flight. This is the first time I haven't tipped in years and I typically tip between 20-30% based on service, but she got a attitude before we could decide what we wanted. Do better.

A mojito was $18 because they were out of strawberries for their signature drink on the menu. The restaurant does not serve coffee. The Cajun pasta was good. The cheesecake was good. The side salad was fresh mixed greens. My friend enjoyed his breakfast sandwich.

The menu is minimal at best and the one thing I did order was a cheese pizza. How hard can that be? Well it was a half of a small frozen pizza and was burnt to the point that it was not edible. Didn’t bother asking for another one as I had to get on my flight. I was also afraid that I would just get another burnt half of a pizza.. do not recommend at all. For a quick drink it would probably be ok..

What a fabulous place considering every other spot inside the airport has unacceptable reviews. The bartender was very friendly and answered any of our questions regarding the menu. We had the croissant sandwich and the blta chicken sandwich which were really good (chips bought separately at convenience store). We would definitely come back if we’re ever in NOLA again!

Food delicious as usual for a vino volo, and overpriced as usual for aiport food. Only real complaint is that the "Bowl" of soup (the menu capitalizes the word bowl every time it's used) is a 4oz cup of soup. It's expected to charge exorbitant prices for airport food, but be honest about your portion sizes. The service was good but they were understaffed for a busy Sunday.

Fabulous service! And amazing staff! We were waiting for our flight to board and we we’re hoping to get a few really good drinks and a snack. The ladies at the wine bar helped us select a ephrasine gin and tonic ( well crafted and delicious ), and a jacimo IPA from Abita beer. We’re not really wine people but they did have a huge wine selection. We ordered a crawfish cake salad which had a lot of lettuce overall and tomatoes and cucumbers and a nice huge slice of avocado. The staff was very attentive even though we arrived there very close to closing.

Food is OK, unless you consider the price. Avocado toast is server on the thinner slice of american toastbread ever seen instead of the advertised sourdogh. Service is terrible. Short staffed, but also slow and unfriendly

Exactly what I needed. Airport in absolute chaos and flights being canceled left and right. I had Empanadas from Empanola and a lovely small salad. The spinach and artichoke empanada was perfection. The chorizo empanada was amazing. The Peruvian chicken empanada was surprising (in a good way). The prices are what they are, but the quality is actually there. Jay was my server, and he was fantastic! If you ever get stuck at MSY, grab a seat and a bite at Vino Volo!
