The 28 Best Restaurants in Prague, Czech Republic | Eater

"This brewpub strikes the balance between old and new, making it perfect for Czech beer nerds. Food offerings don’t break the mold, but they do hit the spot — garlic soup (a Czech classic), pickled Camembert, chilled pork jowl with horseradish cream — and the beer offerings are expansive, with a range of lagers, pale ales, and IPAs. The lower-level seating area is more rowdy than the main floor, so if you’re visiting on a weekend evening, head downstairs for a fun vibe." - Dan Clapson

Google
This is one of the best beer places in Prague, but not only that. The food is traditional and delicious. The house lager that I tried was smooth and perfectly flavoured. The marinated Camembert was simply divine. The staff were amazingly friendly and had some great recommendations. It’s worth the trip on the metro out here.

You will always find great craft beer here, but the surprising thing is the kitchen is also out of this world, my favorite is the pork medallions with blue cheese sauce with the out of line double Neipa.

We enjoyed a wonderful meal at this brewery that is off the tourist path. It has a nice hip vibe that feels light and airy yet comfortable. The food is traditional with a modern twist. We started with marinated camembert --creamy and flavorful. It was served with a dense and flavorful bread. My husband had venison goulash, my son had pork tenderloin on red cabbage, and I had rolled chicken breast on mashed potatoes with a mushroom gravy. All dishes were rich and full of flavor. And of course the beer was excellent. Highly recommended.

Me and my boyfriend loved the place. They have good craft beer and cider, and the food is delicious. We had the grilled turkey and the pulled beef and both of them were great. If you're up for some beers and looking for a nicer brewery, this is the spot. I would defenetly recommend it and would return.

It ain't easy Being cheesy

Google
Amazing food and a wide selection of beer. The prices are really attractive and the staff know the menu and the beers really well and they are very friendly. Should I visit Prague again, I will 100% come here for dinner again. I can highly recommend this place!

What a wonderful find! We are travelling from Australia and heard from travel sites this was worth a visit. The food was delicious! Service was great and the beer was tasty! 😊

Google
Wonderful food and beer for very fair prices. The beer was excellent and fresh. The main entrees were traditional and hearty. The soup was our favorite, reasonably priced and delicious. Also enjoyed the plum crumble dessert. The atmosphere felt a little sterile, but the service, food and beer make it a must visit

Yelp
Very local spot. Extremely crowded brew pub. You need a reservation or wait it out (after 8:00pm) to eat at a table. I liked all the beers on tap, the "Less Sugar..." being recommended to me, and my favorite, but they may rotate some selections. Order at the bar and have one outside. There are also two small standing tables on the left as you enter that are good for drop in. The sausage appetizer filled me up. The mains (under CZK 200) looked fairly hearty as well. I almost went back for the second time.

Yelp
Really good beer and reasonable prices as befitting Prague in general. Both the dark ale and pilsner tasted great. There is not much vegetarian food on their classic Czech menu, but what they have is heavy. Not necessarily large in portions but large in calories. Their pickled cheese appetizer was something I've never tasted before nor is it something I would go out of the way to order again. Meanwhile their spinach and dumplings dish was also heavy and when that's done you don't have much left for more beer. The atmosphere is a 2 level beer hall where you are expected to share tables if there are empty seats available. Good way to meet friends.

Yelp
My favorite (of the many great) Prague dining experience. We came here straight from the airport from Amsterdam. We happened to find this gem of a restaurant because we were getting to know the neighborhood where our Airbnb was. The thing that lead us in is their in-house brewery! They have quality lagers and other varieties. I would say that their lager is hoppy and has that distinct Czech personality. Full-bodied flavor and unfiltered. I was surprised that they also have IPA! I gave that a try and of course the Vinohradská 11. We had a five course meal and none of the dishes disappoint. We had sausages, duck confit and the creamy deer. I would say that I have never tasted a dessert dumpling and that was a good end to the meal; it was sweet dumplings stuffed with strawberry compote, topped with cheese curd and hot butter and a dollop of cool whipped cream. Definitely worth trying and going back to!

Yelp
Bullshit waitresses and bartenders. I was being super nice to them and being from the US, I apologized like crazy but they couldn't care less because I was brown. I paid bills for peoples I didn't know and I was super well behaved all night, but they treated me worst than a human! Dogs were better here than humans. Shame smame shame!

Yelp
Excellent pub/Czech food that has a twist and is definitely cooked by a professional chef. Had the pork with red cabbage and potato dumplings, but it was fancied up in a good way, where it kept it's original Czech taste, but added more flavor. Amazing! Docked 1 star, because the place could use more ambiance. Maybe some music, art on the walls. Something. But if you like minimalism, then this is the spot. Overall, I'd highly recommend! It's a great modern Czech pub, with delicious food, serving both Czechs and foreigners at reasonable prices.

Yelp
Coming from the land of micro-brews, it is nice to come here to try they latest yumminess they have on tap. I am never disappointed. The atmosphere is hip but inviting, and thankfully smoke free. The servers are efficient and sassy in the best possible way. It is a nice place to change it up from time to time.

Yelp
Yeah, that's some pretty damned good beer. Unfiltered lager brewed on site - an 11°, a 12° and a 13° amber. Normally, I'm an 11° man, but the 12° is balanced nicely and is actually my favourite here. What's perhaps most impressive is that they are constantly tweaking the brews, trying out new things, looking for perfection. I haven;t had the food yet, though I hear it can be quite good. A very welcome addition to the burgeoning Prague micro-brewery scene.

Yelp
They brew my favorite beer in Prague, I can give them an absolutely "must taste" badge! The atmosphere is great, really great job from the interior designers. I find it very positive that the place is smoke free and the service was above Czech standards.

Yelp
This place was the best meal we had in Prague. I'm not sure what beer we got, since it was in Czech, but the ribs and pork steak we ordered were absolutely delicious. The staff was very friendly and the food came out pretty quickly. The only drawback is that they don't have an English menu, so have your google translate camera ready to scan the courses.
