I cannot believe how amazing this place is. My friend and I stumbled upon it and it was so wonderful. New wine flights every week???? Janeen and Katie are absolutely wonderful. Made for a great afternoon we are so happy.

Google
I love coming here on Friday nights. The live music is good and the tastings are better. I also love going to align & wine (yoga and wine tasting) the first Sunday every month. It’s a great way to enjoy the space, get aligned, and enjoy some new wines. I love this place!

Google
VinoTeca is one our favorite Atlanta hotspots! If you’re looking to start off the night with good wine & good vibes—look no further. The wine expertise is unmatched, the selection is vast & those that commune there keep it light & fun! Check out their social media handles for updated events, including music nights & featured wine flights! Shout out to the staff, we see you!

Google
Loved the location being so close to some great spots to eat. Kate was wonderful in recommendations for wine along with local spots. I will definitely be back and highly recommend!

Google
Excellent wine store, excellent selection of wines you don't find in big retail stores. We went for the weekend wine tasting and it was wonderful. Janeen is a super-knowledgeable sommelier that knows wine and the history of many of the source vineyards. Highly recommended.

If you like to buy wine from nice people and variety, Vinoteca is your place. Katie and Jeannine curated a fascinating tour of the wine world, all in one shop!

Google
Calling all wine lovers! This is theee spot! Hubby and I are becoming wine connoisseurs and enjoy trying out new blends, attending tastings and filling up our wine fridge with new bottles. Last night we stopped in to VinoTeca for their wine tasting and loved it! The staff was amazing and super down to earth and kind. They were also very knowledgeable about the wines we were trying and even gave us a tour of the spot showing and introducing us to new wines. Needless to say we walked out with 3 bottles and already plan to go back next Friday! Definitely cannot wait til the spring and summer because I can see this becoming a habit.

2nd time here. Staff a little rude today. Great environment.

Yelp
I can't wait to go back to VinoTeca! My friend and I stopped in after a late lunch -- even though they were prepping for an event, we were still able to grab a bottle to enjoy on the patio and keep the conversation going. We opted for an amazing red wine from the wall of various wine from different regions of the world. I'd def suggest you stop by & walk the belt line afterwards!

Yelp
Just had the absolute best experience with Erica at VinoTeca! Came here to find a gift for a client and only had a few details and together we were able to put together a wonderful gift bag with Wine, Opener, & Tumbler. Oh, and Erica just happened to be from the Northeast like me and we were both Giants fans! Loved that. She made me smile after a long day. Thanks, Erica. Follow me on IG @angelfoodude

Yelp
Really really cute low key gem in Inman Park. They have a whole wall selection of wine you can walk up and pick! They also have $15 wine tastings for 3 different wines which is not bad at all. This place is quieter which is very refreshing over a packed restaurant/bar. I really liked the vibe, the staff was extremely nice and knowledgeable. I really enjoyed it here, and it is perfect if you wanted a more intimate quieter place to relax and drink wine!
google avatar

Mikey H.

Yelp
Walking down from the Carter library, I really wanted to drink a glass of wine and relax. VinoT is a wine shop and does not sell glasses of wine, however, they had a wine tasting and I did that instead. Why not try three different wines from different wineries? There were two whites and one red. I'm not a big white wine fan, but these were very good. I can't tell you who they are but the manager? Janine? explained each one. I really liked the red. I also met the owner...Julie? My apologies, I had been walking all day, maybe a little sunstroke...let's say that. The shop has a really nice collection of wines to choose from. I sat and read my book while enjoying this peaceful respite. Lots of people coming in to buy wine to take home. They even have seats out in front. Great place to come to, and dog friendly!

Yelp
The Friday of 2023 was nice!!! A fun date, great conversation and company. Walking in takes you to another place...relaxing, chill, and calming vibe. Greated with a smile. We were there for a Wine Tasting...15.00ea. to try 3 wines this was the Champagne edition...makes since it was almost the New Year. There was live music. I would highly recommend going for the experience. They were very knowledgeable on each of our pours. I sure look forward to going back.

Yelp
Oh my goodness! This April Fools blind taste test was perfect and so fun. My sister and I were walking by and were pulled in by this sign! Corey was doing our tasting and was super fun! After each tasting he listened to us talk about what we thought it was. After hearing the answer to each one we were given a little back story. Corey had a great personality and makes me excited to come back for more tastings !!
google avatar

Yelp
All of the employees at VinoTeca are super friendly and knowledgeable! There's indoor and outdoor seating. They also put water bowls outside for dogs. The store is cozy with a large selection of wines. I was able to find a Riesling that I I've only been able to find in store in Michigan. We did a wine tasting with 3 different wines that moves at your own pace. A live band showed up just as we were leaving. I really like the vibe of this wine store and I'll definitely be back!
google avatar

Rose A.

Yelp
Vino teca was a nice visit. There was ample room for indoor seating. The tasting was just ok for me but to be fair I was already a few tastings in from another establishment. I would definitely go again and keep it on the list as an option for tastings.
google avatar

Perry M.

Yelp
Lovely experience, the wine tasting. Highly recommended for weekend hangs. Very laid back. Had the Western Italy sampling. The servers shared some interesting facts about each wine; we learned some stuff along the way. Looking forward to an excuse to brave the traffic from Roswell for a return visit.
google avatar

Rachel P.

Yelp
The best local wine shop. The wine tastings are $15 for 3, and the selections change every week. Great wines at any price point.
google avatar

Yelp
We came for the weekend wine tasting which included three different hand selected wines from across the globe. It's a quaint wine bar with a great selection of wine. You'll definitely enjoy the atmosphere with your date or your friends.

Lindsay K.

Yelp
Super cute wine shop! They have bottle to buy, but also they do wine tastings! You can order the charcuterie board that they offer too to enjoy with your tasting. I plan to go back with friends to do a tasting and bring some pairing snacks to go with it.
google avatar

Yelp
I have been dying to go here for years and I finally accomplished my goal! The best part is that it was worth it- 100%!! This spot is so cute, with locals, live music, great wine all at an affordable cost. My friend and I had a flight of white wines and each one was unique and delicious! We listened to live music and people watched while chatted and sipped. It was a great low key experience. We ended up buying several bottles and setting up a picnic to share them later in the month. I never knew how accessible a wine shop like this was, so I was scared, but now I know! Can't wait to visit again soon!
google avatar

Yelp
Cute wine shop in the heart of Inman park. Great selection and Janeen is beyond helpful in helping you pick a bottle. They also have wine tasting so make sure to stop by if you're in the area.

Yelp
I'm more so mad at myself that I do not live a little bit closer to VinoTeca lol. I decided to stop by after going to the High Museum one weekend. I love the nice vibe of this place. There was even an outdoor area to sit outside and enjoy your wine. I even noticed a bachelorette party in there for a private tasting! As for me, I enjoyed the cold weather wine tasting on a Saturday out in the city! And the people working there was incredible! Very knowledgeable in the wines and very friendly! I love this place!

Yelp
Who knew this place existed and didn't tell me?!?!. They make drinks table side. The small plates are devine and the large plates are out if this world. It is a must do experience. We went right at opening but I can only imagine how cute it must be at sunset. Try everything. I recommend it all.

Yelp
Great little wine shop in the Inman Park area! My husband and I have been coming here for several years now and we keep coming back to try new wines. Los Guidry's Thoughts and Recommendations: - Great wine selection! They have wine from many different countries, reds, whites, blends, etc., you name it you can find something that make your taste buds happy. - Knowledgeable staff! Every time we've been here the staff is like a walking wine encyclopedia. They give me more information than I care to know about the wine sometimes TBH haha! - Charcuterie boards are AMAZING! I recently tried their charcuterie board and it was phenomenal. It's served in a small box but it's PACKED with fresh goodies. It had 3 cheeses, meats, crackers, fruit, olives, honey, figs, and dark chocolate! Easily shareable with 3 people. - Wine flights on the weekends! They provide wine tasting from 1-6 PM for $15 on the weekends. This is a great option if you want to try something new. However, it's a hit or miss depending on what your preference is. For example, on one night the tasting included a Merlot which I personally do not enjoy. I skipped the tasting and simply ordered a glass of a different wine. - Service is good overall. I think depending on the night or who's working there the service may be a hit or miss. Specifically I'm referring to some staff's attitude, or lack of friendliness. My friends and I have definitely felt rushed in the past. I understand the shop can get busy at times or personal life can be stressful but you know so-so service is still a bummer as a customer. Overall, I'm a big fan of VinoTeca. I'm thankful to have this little wine shop to hang out at while I wait 1+ hours for my table to be ready at the nearby restaurants.

Yelp
Visiting Atlanta and had to see what the rave was all about here at Barcelona since I've heard about this place for YEARS! I've got to say, i was NOT DISAPPOINTED!! I started off with a margarita mixed with their house made tequila. Holy Crap their house tequila is smooth!! Yum-my!! Had a couple margaritas and may have had a couple shots too :-) We had several tapas but I failed and didn't snap any pictures before everybody dug in. Valdeón - (Goat Cheese with jam) Not strong, it was a mild cheese and went perfectly with the jam it was paired with. Came as a triangle slice of cheese and 2 little squares of solid jam squares Boquerones (like sardines) Served with Olive oil and parsley - Now this was definitely a new food adventure for me. I was actually expecting to not like these but I was pleasantly surprised and ate 2. Chorizo w/ Sweet & Sour Figs - The chorizo was not spicy at all, sliced and served like sausage not like crumbled ground beef. Again another food adventure for my palate. The chorizo and figs went well together, another great choice. Patatas Bravas - Sauce...this Garlic Aioli holy freakin heaven in my mouth. The other sauce is a salsa brava which is a red sauce and it pairs perfectly with the potatoes and the garlic aioli. I wanted to lick the aioli off the plate...no joke it was that good. Spiced Beef Empanadas - Served with a red pepper sauce and they were tasty. An empanada is an empanada, nothing negative to say about these guys. Blistered Okra with Calabrian Chilis and Almonds - If you like spicy, this is a MUST!! The okra is perfectly cooked and holy crap the chilis were freakin spicy but the flavor was delicious. Parrillada (Meat block) this was a meal in itself - NY Strip, Chicken, Pork Loin, Sausage - a bite of each to make sure it all tasted just as perfect as all the previously ordered tapas and of course they were all prepared to perfection. I wish I would have remembered our servers names, we had two male servers and they were amazing! Very personable, attentive and made great suggestions. The manager came over to make sure we were taken care of. A++ Zero Complaints, if you are in the area, stop by, I promise you WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!

Yelp
Another great wine shop in a great neighborhood. Came on a Saturday, they had live music going on out side with looked like the neighborhood regulars out side enjoying the vibes. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They had a great wine tasting deal of $15 for 3 wines. Love the inside of the shop, very spacious with great options for inside and outside seating. A very large selection of wine also!

Yelp
Met up with some friends for dinner and drinks. We often go to Bar Taco across the street and I wanted to try something different during my visit. Valet parking was easy to find and the valet attendant was super easy. Valet parking is free, Barcelona will stamp your valet ticket at the desk. The valet attendants were very friendly. Make sure to give them good tips! The inside of Barcelona is really nice. The ambience is amazing. I think this is a perfect date night spot. I made reservations for 3 at 7pm on a Saturday. The place wasn't packed but it filled up and there was a wait as we were leaving. The staff was extremely attentive. Our server constantly came to check on us and provided suggestions on wine and food. I love that they have 3 ounce pours of wine so you can try multiple types of wine on the low. We tried a few dishes- calamari, potatoes, mussels and mushrooms. I was way too hungry to wait and snap pics when the dishes came out. Everything came out fresh and well flavored. I think my favorite was the mushrooms. They were cooked to perfection and packed with flavor.

Yelp
We did the wine tasting as we enjoyed our Inman park restaurant crawl. It was a pleasant surprise in that they had tastings from 1-6 pm. This tasting consisted of wine from Spain. They gave patrons very generous pours. I also enjoyed the entertainment and the warm weather, as we sat outside. They brought each tasting to your table and explained the region and flavor notes. We were able to people watch as we enjoyed our wine. If you're looking for a cute neighborhood wine tasting, you should stop by and listen to great music.

Yelp
last night prior to dinner we explored vinotecca which is a very nice wine shop as well as wine bar. You can purchase wine's to drink or take home. This wine shop had a greater variety than most others i've been to and the price points went from anywhere from affordable to fancy where there were some for $17 and some for $265. The sommelier ( Eric i believe his name was) was very kind and extremely knowledgeable and helped explain what kind of wines we would like based of my very bad explanations of what i like haha. We ended up going for a Montalcino wine. Can't wait to try tonight for national wine day!

Yelp
One of my favorite places to eat in Atlanta! I love the tapas style and the food is delicious. My favorite is the French Toast as well as the pancakes. The pictures I will be posting are from different times. I've been at least five times and I'm never disappointed by the ambience, service, and of course the food! They switch the style of the food up quite a bit so I wouldn't expect the same thing every time.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is amazing! We came to visit Atlanta from LA and the bloody bar is amazing and the service by Jane amazing. We ordered the hanger steak it was DELICIOUS and the red fish both tapas! The place is super cool looking with amazing art. Definitely check out the art of Jack Nicholson by the bathroom!
google avatar

Michael T.

Yelp
Pretty close to the real deal, I was genuinely surprised when I stopped in for dinner a few days ago. I sat at the bar and the servers were great. They had some things I don't see in the US often: Estrella Damm (served in a chilled glass if you ask for one), serrano, mangalitsa, iberico pork, boquerones. The complimentary bread was just OK, accompanying olive oil was good. Definitely was missing some tomato to spread on- maybe they had but I didn't see it on the menu. The value was really good, I had 4 tapas and 2 beers for about $50. If I am ever in the area again, I'll definitely be back.
google avatar

Liv Y.

Yelp
Rude AF lady at the front. No shit! It's a wine bar. No one needs some condescending service BEFORE I drink. Lost my business in a flash. Explain your offering before dismissing customers. Surprised by this level of disregard for customer service. To add: our party of 3 weren't dressed up. We just walked over from the Beltline. That's no reason to turn away business, given we are bit of spend thrifts when it comes to wine. Their loss! Wish I can walk in with a barrel of wine from another wine cellar and do that Pretty Woman speech
google avatar

Jayna P.

Yelp
Love this place and taking out of town guests. Their tapas are always on point. Spanish tortilla is always one of my must orders and seafood paella is great to share (just remember if ordering paella) they do take a little longer to bring it out as it is made from scratch. Overall a great place to have a date night or girls night out
google avatar

Jade P.

Yelp
I love VinoTeca. A very cosy, rustic, library-like wine shop and tasting room in Inman Park. One can easily spend a good amount of time perusing the vast selection. The staff are very knowledgeable and will absolutely help you select a wine that you might like based off of your preferences. They also host weekly wine tastings. They have an unconventionall wine club that is worth checking out if you're considering a steady flow of wine to add to your collection. It's also a nice place to kill some time if you've got a long wait at Barcelona across the street.
google avatar

Jordan W.

Yelp
The weekend wine-tasting is a must-do when in Inman Park. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. A great way to spend a weekend evening, sampling three wines for an extremely low price. Enjoy!

Markus P.

Yelp
Absolutely the best wine store in the city. The selection is terrific and the staff is extremely knowledgeable. Tell them what you like and they will find you an incredible bottle of wine. We have never been disappointed in getting wine from here.
google avatar

Kousee L.

Yelp
Really good food! The tapas are really tasty. I recommend the salmon flatbread (which has cream cheese or something and then salmon on top) and the meatballs. Yummy. I want to come back and try more! I had a group special $35 each and you get to sample a lot of the tapas but my group didn't want to do that. lol I also ordered the beef empanadas. Not bad but you only get 2 tiny little empanadas... oh yeah they have bread and oil in the middle of the table to munch on and eat with your tapas. Service was slow at first then got a little better. Seemed like she had a lot of help but that's cool with me. Overall she did an ok job. The only funny thing that happened was that she had to take everyone's order so I was the first to order and I needed my drink sooner. So I told her to keep taking everyone's order and I'll just get my drink at the bar. She did not like that. I was like ok... she had another server put my drink in for her. Funny right. Anyways food came out quick. Overall pleased.

Yelp
My favorite wine store in all of Atlanta. Stuffed to the brim with true sommeliers that can handle any task. Everytime I walk in, I happily entrust the decision of what wine to get to the wonder staff. They have never guided me wrong. It would seem they know every bottle so well. I can describe whatever I want to taste or to feel in the wine and they hit it spot on every time. Their wine tastings are a blast. They incorporate physical objects like rocks and moss to help bring out or compare flavors. You learn a lot and it is very hands on and interactive. Great for groups or dates! They also have a walk in wine tasting Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Thursdays is free and the weekend is a super affordable $15. They always bring in a wine brand representative who deep dives on the wine and gives you a nice lesson. Either way when you come here you leave feeling cultured and classy, and that's the best damn way to buy wine.
google avatar

Adriana L.

Yelp
The friendliest and most knowledgeable wine snobs in town! They have an excellent organic/biodynamic wine selection and will help you find what you want. Really friendly and attentive staff. Very patient with picky customers like me. I come here nearly every weekend.
google avatar

Kelsey G.

Yelp
My husband and I came here on our anniversary for a few small plates and wine before heading to a full dinner elsewhere. After our experience, we wished we had just stayed here! As soon as we walked up the staff asked if we were celebrating a special occasion, led us to a nice table, and gave us complimentary drinks to help us start celebrating! Our server was so sweet and helped us pick out some great plates and wine. The way the staff interacted with one another was so pleasant, and they all seemed genuinely happy to be there and to interact with both each other and the guests. It truly added a sense of warmth and comfort to the already great atmosphere in the restaurant! All of the plates and wine we tried were delicious. I definitely hope to visit again soon and would absolutely recommend to others!

Yelp
Cute spot. Great wine choices. Fantastic staff! They were very informative and engaging which I really liked. They have different things every night. Very cute date spot or an especially nice area to chill with friends. Smaller space so if it gets busy you may not have place to sit. Nicely decorated. Had a nice time here. Will be back. Parking is street or garage. Great location with lots of restaurants around (they did not serve food here) and a coffee shop near by. Go check it out!

Yelp
I actually stumbled upon VinoTeca because we had an hour wait at Barcelona across the street and needed to kill some time. We decided to go wine tasting, which was extremely affordable. The deal was 3 wines for $15 or 1 wine for $6. My girls and I decided that the 3 for $15 was the best option and by the time we were finished, our table at Barcelona was ready. Your first bottle of wine from here also comes with a "no cork fee" if you'd like to bring it over to Barcelona!
google avatar

Rodric L.

Yelp
Super Bowl weekend and the folks at VinoTeca still made time to fully explain the wines we were choosing, why they loved them, and why we would! Nice little outside seating area for fantastic people watching. Dog friendly. Section galore. What's not to love? We will be back!

Allison H.

Yelp
We used to be loyal customers and live across the street from VinoTeca. We visited 1-2x a week. Unfortunately, we have become fed up with the rude service by the majority of the staff. The owner and one of the workers behind the desk seem to get enjoyment in trying to ruin people's days. Whether it's their condescending voices or one-word dismissive responses - this was something we initially put up with. However, the last straw was when my spouse and I walked in and were looking at their area of nice wines for a special occasion. The woman opened the door and glared at us when we were looking around. We told her we were just looking around, but she continued to stand with her arms folded and glared for probably the most awkward few minutes of our lives. Sheepishly and embarrassed we really couldn't do anything but walk out. That's the last straw for us. Please don't get this place confused with "Barcelona Wine Bar" which is the restaurant across the street (and is amazing). I'd recommend you to look around the area for other boutique wine stores because surprisingly there are a few other incredible places that are close in proximity and have an even better selection.

Yelp
Vinoteca is one of the best places to grab great wines in the city of Atlanta! They have great, high quality tastings in the evenings, and they even have a somm on staff! She was great, knowledgeable, and happy to help answer whatever questions we had about the wines we were tasting and our preferences. They have limited seating, but the environment is very warm and inviting, and there's always a good crowd of people within. Vinoteca also offers a wonderful selection of more affordable wines, ranging from $10 - $12+, and their wines are almost always locally distributed.

Yelp
I went to Barcelona a few weeks ago and the experience was unforgettable. Yes a very intimate, classic, grown, vibe. The tapas were fantastic -- calamari, muscles, meatball, and the bread and olive oil was so delicious. Also has a nice glass of sauvignon blanc and a great time with friends. It's a great setting for when friends are in town and maybe they fly in late and you want to just catch up over wine and good food. Loved my experience!

Marla S.

Yelp
I debated between 3 and 4 stars here. I'd give 2 stars for the service if I could. The food was amazing but the service was abysmal. The friends I went with have been before and were shocked at how poor the service was and that is the only reason I'll go back. We were there to celebrate and our server could have racked up a large bar tab had they been on top of things. Instead, our drinks, including water, remained empty for a good part of our meal. It was as if the floor manager wasn't paying attention to what was going on, or people called out sick but getting anyone to stop by the table for drinks or more bread, or to bus the table was a miracle. Orders were lost multiple times and the blame was placed on the kitchen. It became apparent the food runners were grabbing food and hoping they got it right. The kicker was someone bringing our bill without being asked or anyone asking for them. They had no idea we didn't want to order more drinks or more food. They were just interested in turning over the table after ignoring us most of the night. 5 stars for food 2 stars for service

Yelp
What a great place to go whether you are meeting with friends or that cute person from the dating app. The weekend wine tastings are great and the pricing is pretty reasonable. Staff is attentive and obviously really passionate about the wines. I love that the tasting change often and go through different regions. I don't think you have much of a choice though which is the only downside. Overall, it's a great conversation starter and paces the hangout nicely!

Cindy L.

Yelp
Ok so this place is ok and the wine is but the the staff is pretentious and rude. I asked a question and some woman says the "words are right there". I replied, "the words hidden by the sticky pad?" She apologizes. I asked a question about the sake and another woman goes on to tell this 5 year fluid Japanese speaker what sake is. It's rice wine she says. I didn't ask what sake was. Here's my advice, be nicer to potential customers.

Yelp
This is a great place to stop in on a Saturday afternoon. Enjoy a wine flight and hang out with friends. It's a great hideaway from those errands you should be running! They have an amazing selection of wines within all price ranges. Beautiful decor, the noise level is moderate, and if you want to grab a bite to eat you can head across the street to their restaurant and enjoy great fare.

Yelp
I came here and did a wine tasting pre-COVID. Like literally a few days before everything shut down. I had previously heard some great things about the place and had it on my list to try. Fast forward, I was able to take a friend for a birthday celebration. We attended the wine tasting that paired with Girl Scout cookies. It was pretty slow in the shop with the exception of customers coming in and out to make a purchase. We tried three wines and all were pretty good. There is a great variety of wines that the shop offers and I was able to find a few that I liked and purchased. Since the wine tasting, I've been by the shop about two times. And unfortunately, the wine that I fell in love with is always sold out. I can't complain too much because I don't go in on a regular. I have another neighborhood wine shop by me so I usually default to that one. However, if I'm ever on that side of town, I always try to stop in.

Yelp
Marry me, VinoTeca. I am lucky enough to live within walking distance of this place and frequently stop in to grab a bottle to go or enjoy one of their wine flights. The employees are always welcoming and more than happy to navigate you to your next favorite bottle(s) of wine. When it comes to tastings, they have one open table and a separate room which can be rented out for private events. The wine tastings vary in price and are pre-selected by the staff (who are experts by the way so trust, it will be good). The pours are also pretty generous. ;) I am a huge fan of the decor and overall vibes VinoTeca is boasting. If you're a fan of Barcelona, chances are you're going to love this place. If you're lucky, you can also get some puppy kisses from the wine store pup, Sebastian. Happy tasting!

Yelp
Incredibly polite staff! The manager overheard us talking about sitting near the bar area and made accommodations while the original host made other arrangements. Once we were seated, we were greeted by Evan and Cassidy who worked cohesively to create a continuous flow of quality food and outstanding customer service. They allowed me to try a new wine although I eventually went with the Riesling. You wouldn't have even known they were working more than our table room. This experience was completely intimate and flawless..!
