Came to Lulu's for my birthday happy hour and we're sat outside in the back garden and one of the few spaces that isn't covered. We were on like a L-shaped couch table with a couple of chairs around it. I like that it's one of those places where you scan a QR code, and order directly from your phone, but it did get a little bit confusing, because they combined everyone at the table onto a single tab, and if someone had something in their cart and someone else ordered a drink, it would bring everything in everybody's carts, so that got a little bit confusing.
At a certain point in the night, it started to drizzle and because we were one of the few tables that wasn't covered, they ended up, moving us to the front patio at a picnic table, where we had to squeeze in (because it was a little bit smaller than what our group size called for). It was still a fun vibe, but not quite as aesthetic as the back patio had been.
I had a glass of rosé and we ordered a bottle of champagne to share at the table (because #Birthday). We also got a couple of snacks as well.
White Queso (cilantro, green chile, red onion, sour cream, pico, local Ula tostadas) was very tasty but they definitely don't give enough tostadas so you have to pay for extras
Whipped Feta (hatch chile harissa, house everything spice, grilled bread) delicious! Again they do kinda skimp on the bread
Hatch Green Chile Mac & Cheese (cavatappi pasta, hatch green chilies, bread crumbs, pepper jack) I hate to say it but this tasted a lot like the Trader Joe's green Chile Mac but for obviously a much higher price point. It was good but not necessarily worth the $14 imo.
House Fries (shoestring fries, herbs, fancy sauce) always a crowd pleaser.
In general I would recommend coming to lulus only for snacks and drinks bc the menu is a bit pricey for what it is. But the atmosphere is great, especially out on one of the patios!
