Vinoteca hosts a weekly live flamenco night; wine classes for small groups in the upstairs lounge; and happy hours with wine flight samples to support local nonprofit organizations and causes."

"U Street corridor staple Vinoteca is closing this Sunday after 12 years of business but will eventually reopen as a new operation under the same ownership. Since Washingtonian broke the news yesterday, owner Paul Carlson says he’s received an outpouring of messages from longtime customers who are coming out of the woodwork and promising one last visit. Carlson says he’s heard from people who met their spouses at the oyster-shell bocce court in Vinoteca’s outdoor plaza bar. One fan who now lives in the Midwest told Carlson he’s looking for flights just to have one final bottomless brunch (with $21 free-flowing mimosas) this weekend. Vinoteca is closed today, and will host its last flamenco show tomorrow. Normal hours and happy hour will run the rest of the week, capping off with a bottomless weekend brunch Saturday and Sunday. He plans to extend hours during its finale night until all drinks and food are gone. “I think with the outcry we’ve gotten from people it’ll be a busy weekend,” Carlson says. “Vinoteca is very special to a lot of us and this week our concentration is to give it a proper send-off.” The 4,000-square-foot neighborhood mainstay, known for its charcuterie and cheese spreads, flatbreads, and happy hour, was hooking D.C. drinkers on rosé way before the pink drink was trending. In 2016, Vinoteca’s sommelier and avid rosé fan Kate Chrisman was offering a dozen varieties by the glass — one of the most extensive selections in the area at the time. In two months, Carlson plans to flip the space into a new restaurant that vows to maintain a strong wine program. “A business is like a living, breathing thing — it’s ran its course and we are truly in a competitive market. To remain competitive it’s time to start a new chapter and evolve,” Carlson says. He says he’s in the final stages of financing in order to flesh out the new project’s identity, clarifying that it won’t be a Vinoteca 2.0. Along with a revamped look and menu, he plans to continue to capitalize on the cozy, brick-lined space’s “great bones,” outdoor garden, and location (1940 11th Street NW) in a busy area for nightlife. Carlson also owns the Royal in LeDroit Park. He says the next incarnation of Vinoteca will “build off what we have in our arsenal” at the Bib Gourmand pick known for coffee, cocktails, biscuits, and arepas. “It’s a fantastic team, service style, and food and beverage program. We are taking all that momentum and applying it to this project,” Carlson says. The new business, however, won’t adopt the Royal’s all-day hours." - Tierney Plumb

Went for brunch and it was pretty good. We had the pancakes (pictured) and the breakfast bagel. Both were tasty and the pancakes were my favorite. The were a good size and weren't too dry. They also have good drink prices for brunch. I would do brunch here again.

Google
Delicious brunch — I had the jambalaya grits 🤤 which did not disappoint I like that the Bottomless has 3 drink options: Mimosas, Peach Bellinis, & King Royal - a must for someone allergic to oranges - It’s also great you can just do single glasses for $4 if you don’t want to go super hard

Google
Great cheese and charcuterie boards! Quite pricey for the quantity of food served, but the staff were kind and knowledgeable.

Google
The Latin music on Thursdays are okay (a little loud with a small crowd) and the bartenders knowledge of wines are limited. It's a nice atmosphere and great lists of wines available by the glass to include 2.5 oz tastings. Probably a one and done for me, especially when there are other wine bars in the area.

Google
A perfect place to unwind. The have a fantastic wine selection. The back patio is really gorgeous, especially at night.

Vinoteca is nice! I've been there for happy hour and now brunch, and I've never had a complaint. Service is good, decor is cute, the ambience is lovely, food and drinks are tasty, and the prices are decently reasonable. Definitely not a spot for cheap eats but you probably won't break your wallet either. Its a good place for a date, to bring your mom when she visits the city, for a group or intimate brunch, for some relaxing drinks after work...just an all-around solid spot, with a great location. 👍🏾

Google
This restaurant has a wonderful brunch and serves great food. I ordered the asparagus frittata. It was delicious and a very good portion. The mimosas are not bad, I'd recommend getting bottomless. The size of the mimosa is fair. The Bloody Mary's are done exceptionally well. The service was very efficient. The back patio is my favorite place here. Great place for happy hour.

Google
Came here to celebrate a birthday of one of my closest friends. Lively atmosphere bordering on loud (excellent hearing) The jambalaya shrimp and grits was excellent. Highly recommend it. The drink definitely flows when you get bottomless mimosas! I think my glass only made it to empty one time because our server was on point. Looking forward to going back to try other menu items.

Yelp
I'm in my wine phase. I was eager to go to a wine bar on a recent trip to DC. We had originally tried to go to another shop, however, they did not update their hours, so we ended up coming to this lovely gem. I was so happy this super charming spot was nearby. It has a really cute aesthetic that will look amazing in all your Yelp photos. I loved the holiday decorations. My fiancé and I ordered two glasses of wine here. He got a glass of the Time Machine Rouge that was a special of the night and I ordered a glass of the Lambrusco Rose Lini 910 Italy. We were seated at a large table where we played some card games. It's a wonderful spot to meet up with friends and get good wine. I loved both of our drinks. They also had a lot of great food offerings on their menu. I'd definitely return and recommend this cute spot.

Yelp
I have visited Lulu's on three separate occasions (with fairly large groups) and each time it has been fantastic! Each visit took place over the weekend, during the winter, in the mid afternoon (post brunch hang out) and it has always been fairly crowded. It's one of my favorite places to grab drinks with friends and I've never had less than a great time! They even have themed nights for popular tv shows! The wine and drinks are good with many options to choose from. Ordering is done on your phone which gives you plenty of time to read the descriptions, check out photos, and place orders when you're ready (always nice when you're with a group - plus easy payment!). They have themed drinks for the holidays AND golden hour where you can get some discounts on your favorites. What's not to love! Finally, shoutout to the staff! They are always friendly, quick, and helpful if you have questions. Whether I've made a reservation or not they are always accommodating which is appreciated. Once we stayed well past closing (we didn't realize that) and they were so nice about it! Lulus is definitely one of my staples and I'm there at least once a quarter! Now that the holiday season is here I'm all set to stop back in and try one of the festive hot toddy's!

Ama A.

Yelp
came here with two friends for happy hour. The most efficient, quick service I have experience in the city thus far! You order everything online...by the time you submit your payment. Your drink will come out before you can even put down your phone. LOVED IT! Food was good, above a basic level. what amplified the experience was definitely the ambience and the set up of the service. No one is constantly over your neck, you can easily find someone if you need something. A great place to meet up with friends for a nice quality catch up!

Suzie Z.

Yelp
Super cute interior and the outdoor area is great with huge stands surrounding us that actually work well in emitting heat. I was here for a friend's birthday party and the outdoor space is huge enough to house more than 20 folks at a corner (2 tables). I got the signature cocktail that is a fusion of pina colada, coconut, rum, and vodka.

Maria L.

Yelp
Cute place to enjoy drinks with friends and have a nice light bite too. The food is totally shareable! My friends and I ordered the whipped ricotta, chicken taquitos and the Caesar salad which came the cucumbers and avocado . Yummy!! We also ordered the mimosa kit $40, totally worth it! Service was good and they made sure we had water! We also got a slice of cake which my other friends enjoyed. The frosting wasn't my favorite. But everyone who knows me knows I'm not a sweet person, more salty!

Katlyn H.

Yelp
We ended up coming to Lulu's because they were doing a Vanderpump Rules premiere watch party. If you are into Bravo, it looks like they do occasional Bravo related events. It was cold that day but thankfully they had two open seats inside. The inside is small, it had a few picnic benches and a couple of smaller tables. It is definitely more well known for the patios. They have a front and back patio that we didn't check out because it was cold. I had a themed martini that was very delicious but it was small. I also had the grilled cheese and tomato soup which was so flavorful. I will say the food and drink felt pricey, my tab at the end of the night for one drink and one entree was $42. You order from your table online using a QR code, and our food and drinks came out pretty quickly after ordering. Overall, it was a cute spot and I will probably be back (on a warmer day).

C C.

Yelp
We had such a nice time on a Sunday when we stopped in for late lunch. After 3pm on Sundays they have music bingo! Super fun and some prizes. Along with that, we enjoyed a great lunch. Fish tacos, soup and sandwiches, appetizers and cocktails.

Lia M.

Yelp
I love Lulu's Winegarden so much. It's so fun and casual, and very welcoming and pretty. After visiting once, I fell in love. The wines are great and the food is satisfying. After that visit, I decided to have my birthday party here. They make it super easy to have a party, which I appreciate it. And ordering through QR code is helpful. I've loved all the wines I've tried. The mac and cheese hits the spot, but everything has been good, food-wise. And the service is absolutely excellent. I really want to get to their back patio area and am very much looking forward to returning.

Devon K.

Yelp
Came to Lulu's for a watch party. They have a TV outside on their patio and two inside. As mentioned, you order via a QR code for everything. This includes water refills, extra cutlery, etc. This streamlines ordering exactly what you want and you also pay your tab this way. We ordered their pumptini for the night and I got a roasted carrot salad. The cocktail was shown on paper to be $14 but was actually $15. For how small it was, I wouldn't expect to pay that much for a cocktail. Everything seemed absurdly overpriced. For a salad and cocktail it was about $40 with tax and tip. The salad however was really good. I probably won't return just because of the prices, but maybe in the summer for wine.

Dana Z.

Yelp
Thank you Lia for hosting another birthday party and exposing me yet again to a restaurant I may have otherwise never visited (just due to proximity to home) I thought Lulu's was a great place for a large group of people. Granted their main room isn't too large so when there was another large group plus our large group it could get a little loud. I love places that let you order on your phone so you never have to worry about flagging down servers. Also all of the food I tried - fries, smoked brisket grilled cheese - was delicious. Wines and cocktails were all good.

An A.

Yelp
Super cute place with two patios. The back patio is partly covered with a secondary bar. The food is expensive and slightly small but good. We had the whipped harissa feta which was awesome but there wasn't enough bread to eat all the whipped feta with. The taquitos stole the show - these were great and the toppings gave it a flavorful kick. The fries were nothing special but the spicy sauce on top was delicious - there should have been more of that! Service was fine. They provided us wine glasses that had lint from being wiped and graciously swapped them out once we noticed (although I had already drank my wine, oops!) Ordering and payment is done via QR code so there wasn't much interaction and if you had questions you had to flag someone down. Highly recommend starting here for wine before going out for your night. Good selection of red, whites and roses! Not a large a selection of cocktails or beer for your non-wine friends. I think the happy hour is much better bang for your buck, even though it is $9 per wine glass. Buy a bottle!

Erica S.

Yelp
Stopped by here for brunch/early lunch on a Sunday. It was surprisingly not that busy when they opened at noon but it got a lot busier by 1-2ish. So I would reccomend reservations if you go at that time. My friends and I decided to share each dish and try them like tapas. We sat outside in the front wine garden and it was nice and shaded with a calm atmosphere. The rear wing guard seems to have a more energetic vibe. We got the harissa feta dip which was late and fluffy and delicious and came with bread. We also enjoyed the chicken taquitos, which had a good flavor and nice crunch. Finally, we tried the Caesar salad. I loved it! The avocado was a nice touch and I like that it was kale based. It was a different take on a Caesar dressing, but I liked it and it felt homemade. My friends thought it may be lacked some lemon for acidity. We rounded out our meal with a slice of the funfetti cake since it seems like one of their signature dishes. It was OK- not sure if I'd go out of my way to get it again but I might be biased against it bc I am more of a Chocolate person The frosting was light and felt cream cheese based and the cake tasted of fresh vanilla. Make your own mimosa kit (you can choose your juice- OJ, grapefruit or pineapple) and they give you a bottle of champagne and adjust of your choice so you can pour your own mimosas for $40. You can easily get 6 glasses out of it.

Radhika G.

Yelp
came for the holiday pop up and our drinks were great! we enjoyed the fries and queso on the side.

Lindsay F.

Yelp
A+++ such a cutie local winegarden. The outdoor seating was really nice but it was too hot for us. Inside seating was nice as well. We had a private table, but majority of indoor seating is communal bench tables. The burgers & fries were really good. The cocktails we had (casa marg, lulus old fashioned, first bloom) were all super tasty as well. 100% will be back!

Diane P.

Yelp
I came here for happy hour with some coworkers while I was visiting DC and had such a great time! It was a nice day in March, and I had my dog so we made a reservation out on their front patio. I got there around 430pm and there was plenty of space still, but it eventually started getting busier. The space is super cute, the staff were welcoming and friendly, and the happy hour pricing made everything even better! We ordered a few different bottles of wine to share and then each ordered our own food. They have bar codes you scan, which made ordering and splitting tabs easy. Can't wait to come back next time we're in DC!

LaMecia M.

Yelp
Came here for dinner -loved the variety in food choices which we took advantage of when ordering. There wasn't anything we ordered that we didn't like. And because we stayed until it neared closing, we were treated to their frozen drinks - aperol spritz and passion fruit. Definitely try them out. Easy to order from your phone. The food comes out quick but is prepared with care. Staff was nice and courteous about the two hour max seating time and even when we approached last call. We opted for indoor seating but outside looks great and worth a try. Food that pleased: Burger Whipped feta Crab tostada Fish tacos Frozen drinks

Juan A.

Yelp
Total hidden gem. Like most places in dc, i was surprised by the size inside. Spacious inside with outside seating. Courteous service - just got breakfast tacos (brisket and egg) and a drink. For being right by U st, this place is some isolated from the noise (or I'd imagine) but I noticed they do host themed nights. Will have to come by again.

Julie S.

Yelp
Great spot for a glass of rose on a June day. They have a good size patio out front and a cute garden in the back along with the bar and inside seating. Ordered online and brought out to me. Sipped on my wine, checked out the garden and was on my way.

Sara H.

Yelp
Good food and drink, went with friends and had a good time. Easy to order and quick service, good place for brunch.

Lemon C.

Yelp
Had a great time here trying out the cocktails and wine. Didn't get a chance to try the food. I was surprised how big the place is, there's a front patio, indoor restaurant, then back patio. The bathrooms and large and spacious. Your order, pay and tip on the app.

Sydney G.

Yelp
Came to Lulu's for my birthday happy hour and we're sat outside in the back garden and one of the few spaces that isn't covered. We were on like a L-shaped couch table with a couple of chairs around it. I like that it's one of those places where you scan a QR code, and order directly from your phone, but it did get a little bit confusing, because they combined everyone at the table onto a single tab, and if someone had something in their cart and someone else ordered a drink, it would bring everything in everybody's carts, so that got a little bit confusing. At a certain point in the night, it started to drizzle and because we were one of the few tables that wasn't covered, they ended up, moving us to the front patio at a picnic table, where we had to squeeze in (because it was a little bit smaller than what our group size called for). It was still a fun vibe, but not quite as aesthetic as the back patio had been. I had a glass of rosé and we ordered a bottle of champagne to share at the table (because #Birthday). We also got a couple of snacks as well. White Queso (cilantro, green chile, red onion, sour cream, pico, local Ula tostadas) was very tasty but they definitely don't give enough tostadas so you have to pay for extras Whipped Feta (hatch chile harissa, house everything spice, grilled bread) delicious! Again they do kinda skimp on the bread Hatch Green Chile Mac & Cheese (cavatappi pasta, hatch green chilies, bread crumbs, pepper jack) I hate to say it but this tasted a lot like the Trader Joe's green Chile Mac but for obviously a much higher price point. It was good but not necessarily worth the $14 imo. House Fries (shoestring fries, herbs, fancy sauce) always a crowd pleaser. In general I would recommend coming to lulus only for snacks and drinks bc the menu is a bit pricey for what it is. But the atmosphere is great, especially out on one of the patios!

Ron C.

Yelp
This place is ok. You order through an app and then you're served. I really didn't interact with much staff and the atmosphere was meh. One and done for me.

Carlos C.

Yelp
Not only is the patio super cute, but this may be the best chicken sandwich in all of DC!!

Ashley F.

Yelp
My partner and friends said the drinks were very good, and the service was very reliable and quick. But I wanted to stop by to comment on the dessert- I tried all three desserts and was very disappointed. The soft serve was watery and a bit bland and the sweet fry bread did not work in my opinion. But the funfetti cake is what really disappointed me.. I love cake!! I was excited to order a a slice. But the cake itself was so oddly savory and tasteless. As if they forgot to put any sugar at all. The frosting was okay but couldn't save it.

Tiffany N.

Yelp
Lulus is a beautiful venue with nice staff and outdoor seating. The food is underwhelming, I've been dissapinted the two times I've eaten here. The portions seem to be set up so you have to spend extra on something to fill you up, and it's pretty expensive. Come here for for wine and fancy looking dishes, just don't expect to be blown away.

Kevin N.

Yelp
They have a massive garden patio that's perfect for enjoying the nice weather. Everything is done through the QR code, but there are waiters constantly helping you out. The Oblinger (vodka, white rum, coconut mint cordial, lime) - our favorite drink of the night! White Queso - cheesy and love the tostadas Chile Mango Wings - great flavors! Not too spicy either Frozen Aperol Spritz - fun twist on an Aperol sprtiz! Avocado Lime Cesar - refreshing salad. They didn't skimp on the avocado! Crispy Fish Taco - super loaded and crispy taco! Rose - light and refreshing wine Short Rib Fry Bread Taco - it's a large portion but the short rib was fatty and tasty! It's a great spot to take a date or catch up with friends. If you're lucky they even have a garden patio in the back.

Sharlene S.

Yelp
Food- we had the queso, avocado ceaser, and fries. All were really tasty and able to share. Drinks-we got wine, aperol frozen, and both were quite lovely. Service- you could tell that everyone was working as a team. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and professional. The setup for each table is also nice, as you sit you get waters, plates, and silverware on a tray so you're not asking for items as your food comes out. Vibe- what a gorgeous space and so many options for seating. Three different outdoor spaces depending if you want lounge chairs, secluded garden, or shared table spaces. Decor was simple and clean. COVID- all staff was wearing masks and they have an involved and specific QR system. You can even ask for extra water or silverware if you do not want to interact with folks. You could also ask the staff, it nice to have options. Really special neighborhood gem with good vibes, wonderful service and delicious food/drinks.

Greg Q.

Yelp
We went for brunch and overall it was a great experience. You order via a QR code which was efficient with drinks coming out just a few minutes after the order was placed. The staff were friendly and always around to clear the table and help with anything you need. The breakast tacos and fries were both big hits. We also had a piece of funfetti cake for a treat. The inside space was cute and we had plenty of room for our group of four. I could also see this being a great option for a larger group since folks can order and close out their tabs at their own pace. We will definitely be back.

Jason E.

Yelp
Really nice selection of food and wine, a gem in the city. With seating all around, you definitely will get a space to enjoy year round.

Sasha A.

Yelp
Loved this place! I would recommend sitting in the outdoor patio if you can, it's very cute. The service is a bit slow, and we had to ask three times to get water refills + place our food order, but they were all accommodating and nice. The food is awesome! I wish I could have ordered everything on the menu! I would specifically recommend the whipped feta dish, that was spectacular!

Neha P.

Yelp
I went here for brunch! Immediately greeted with a beautiful ambience, there is fun seating and bright furniture with lots of windows to allow for natural lighting. It immediately made the experience better. I also enjoyed the food, since there were multiple courses. However, for the price being paid I wish the portions were a bit bigger.

Anushka M.

Yelp
Amazing decor and such a cute vibe for girls night or group dinner! Lulus Winegarden has amazing food and a great drink selection. We started with a glass of Verdejo and ordered fries and the crispy chicken sandwich. The fries had a delicious sauce on top and were fresh and crispy. The chicken sandwiches were so good! There was a fermented chili sauce that was delicious and the chicken was so juicy and flavorful. It did feel that the menu was a little limited in terms of entrees. This is more of a quick spot for happy hour or small bites vs a full meal. Overall we had so much fun and definitely want to come back soon!

Julie W.

Yelp
What a gorg fun place! Came for music bingo which was so fun and interesting, and it was nice to get some small snacks and glasses of wine and hang out with some friends. Loved the DC too. Will be back!

Cameron B.

Yelp
Lulu's Winegarden was a nice U St find; I went back in July when the weather was warmer. My date and I were happy to find spot with outdoor seating to enjoy the nice (but warm weather). We didn't make a reservation but were seated right away at the outdoor bar at the beginning of their Sunday Golden Hour Special. Golden hour is on Sunday afternoons - during this special there are discounted wines and cocktails which offers a great opportunity to try different items from the menu. The ambiance of the place is very nice: quiet, clean, comfortable, and a smidge of upscale. This is exactly what we were looking for in a Sunday afternoon move - they were plenty of other groups enjoying the wine bar but it was by no means loud or crowded. We tried two different red wines ($9 for Golden Hour) and the red sangria for about the same price. All of our drinks were delicious and the sangria was especially refreshing on a hot day. We also ordered a big bowl of fries to snack on - they were drizzled in a delicious house sauce which was the perfect balance of savory and spicy. Overall, we had a nice experience here. A colorful comfortable ambiance paired with some good eats and drinks. Again, I highly recommend the Sunday Golden Hour!

Corrine M.

Yelp
I've been here a few times now since it changed from Vinoteca to Lulu's and I still really like it. I haven't been for food yet, but have tried several of their drinks. The last time I visited, it was freezing out so we needed something strong and/or warm. Luckily, we got both. They had a pretty good menu with lots of drinks I'd be down to try. We ended up doing the mulled wine and an espresso martini. The wine was delicious and very warm, but a little too weak for my bar mate. The espresso martini was perfection though - I could taste the yumminess of the tequila, but the espresso liqueur also had a really nice flavor and wasn't over the top. Service was pretty good and I liked that we were able to get seats on a Saturday evening without a hassle. We were also there around the holidays and the decorations were really festive and cute. Great spot for drinks.

Becca K.

Yelp
I've been to this establishment before and had a relatively good experience, but this review is specifically for the Vanderpump Rules watch party that Lulu's has been advertising for several weeks. I made this reservation several weeks in advance and specifically noted we were attending for the watch party. We were seated at the outdoor bar, and when I asked where we would be able to watch the episode, the hostess pointed to a COMPLETELY obstructed view of the projector and one small TV behind us. When I tried to politely ask the hostess if there was another option, because we were there specifically for the watch event, she said she would check and get back to me. The manager came out to the patio shortly after, clearly gearing up for a fight, saying "what's the problem?". I felt like all the staff were snippy and curt - while I can understand that they were stretched thin and their staff was stressed, and I do not want to be a pest, I did try to be as polite and respectful as possible in asking if there was another table available. They told me the table assignments are done randomly...which seems odd to me: so someone who makes a last minute reservation could get a better table than someone who made a reservation 2 weeks in advance? The staff dropping off drinks were also short with us - when one drink was dropped off (and the server had several more of the same drink on the tray), we said "oh, we ordered two" and she gave us a very dismissive answer. I do really love the whipped feta appetizer, but I agree with other reviewers that they skimp on the sides. My friend added veggies to the order for an extra price and it was literally a tiny bowl of cucumber slices. Also, they have plenty of notes about how they are a "casual" bar with no table-side service, yet they charge $20 per seat if a reservation cancelled within 24 hours: kinda ridiculous in my opinion. I really like the vibes of this bar but I wasn't fond of the attitude I felt I received. I know the service industry can be incredibly difficult but I think I would choose to go somewhere else next time around.

Dea K.

Yelp
Weird vibes...made a reservation for outside and they sat us literally on the ground in the street, like in the gutter, where we were the only ones. It didn't feel safe or comfortable in more ways than one so we asked to move inside, and the hostesses had such a snooty attitude about it and refused to seat us anywhere but a strange waiting area next to the door that didn't have a real table. It felt like we were sitting at a dentists office. Then, no actual waiters come to take your order, and we had to get up and walk over to the wall to scan a QR code to see the menu. Food was fine once it arrived but the service, seating, and ambiance was so cold, rude, and strange that we left without ordering drinks and won't be back.

Jacqueline K.

Yelp
Great drinks - there was an "out of office" drink that was surprisingly zesty and refreshing for a hot summer day. I personally went for the frozen aperol spritz, which was good as well. Seemed like drinks all ranged around $12-$15. There weren't too many food options but I did try their chicken sandwich (dressing on the side). It was battered well and the only con was that it was hard to eat since it was on the bigger side.

Ryan C.

Yelp
We've seen so many recommendations for this place so I was super hyped to finally be able to get here. We got a reservation for right when they opened and the hostess sat us right next to the window up front which was a great setup but hard if you have a bunch of food/drinks (which we did). We had a bench, two chairs, and an ottoman as our main table. Ordering/paying was easy using GoTab so we didn't have to do much waiting. We got the Oblinger and a Ranch Water to drink, and to eat we got the white queso, French onion toast, and the build your own short rib fry bread tacos. We also got the Out of Office and frozen Aperol Spritz after the food. With how hot it was, all the drinks were super refreshing. Love the ranch water the most. Queso was some of the best I've had in a while, I only regret not getting more tostadas. The French onion toast had some great texture with the chips and tasted like French onion soup on toast. Lastly, the short rib fry bread tacos were A1. I mean it's rare you see fry bread around and with the soft/tender short rib it was perfect. The toppings really put it over the top. Avocado slices, salsa, dill, mint, regular and pickled red onion, and lime came with it. I would absolutely get this every time I come here. I can't wait to come back here because I could spend hours here with the food and drinks alone but the ambiance, the music they play really (lots of SZA when we were there), and the friendly staff make it that much better.

Yelp
Cute cozy spot with an outdoor experience. Make sure you have your vaccination receipt. Yes that's still happening because this place is still enforcing it. Drinks a bit pricey but good.

Yelp
Lulu's Winegarten is a restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining that serves toasts, sandwiches, salads, beer, wine, and cocktails. When we arrived, we were asked to mask up and show our IDs and vaccination cards. We had to wait to be seated because they seated some other party at our reserved table and said our party had to split up. We ended up squeezing five people at a four person table. On the table is a QR code that you can scan to view the menu, place the order, and pay. Our party enjoyed Brooklyn Cider House Rose Cider, Hot Bourbon Spiced Cider, Southwest Mulled Wine, The Oblinger, and Lulu's Old Fashioned. The Oblinger was like a minty twist of a classic frozen Pina Colada. It consisted of vodka, white rum, coconut mint cordial, and lime juice shaken and garnished with a freeze dried lime. The House Fries, Crispy Chicken Sandwich, and Avocado Lime Caesar were alright. The Avocado Lime Caesar consisted of kale, romaine, red onion, and cucumber dressed in a Caesar dressing, topped with sourdough crumb, avocado, and parmesan. There were way too many raw red onions. If I ever get this salad again, I'd ask for it without the onions.

Yelp
If you're looking to grab drinks with friends - this is the place to go. Truly enjoyed my night with my friend. I hadn't seen my friend in so long, so we wanted to find a cute spot to have cocktails and good food. Lulu's gave us just that! Lulu has so much to offer! There is heated indoor and outdoor seating and reservations can be made through resy! We decided to sit inside because it was raining pretty bad that day. Looking back, I wish we would have done the outside streatery (it's winterized & covered - but, we were still scared we'd get wet). IMO where we sat wasn't as charming as the outside and our chairs were wobbly - we left the place thinking - dang, next time! THE FOOD and THE COCKTAILS were it. We got a variety of things and shared them! Get you a friend that enjoys food as much as you do We Ordered White Queso Crab Tostada House Fries Crispy Chicken Sandwich Lulu's Burger Working Chef's Ranch Water I recommend getting a lot of things and sharing! Also - Lulu's has socially distanced tables, contactless online ordering, and sanitizes between parties. Felt good to be out and feel safe

Yelp
An awesome place for brunch with a large group. They have plenty of outdoor seating and the ordering mechanism was good to divide the check. The food also came out pretty quickly. I ordered a hot toddy and a sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich. The breakfast sandwich was inrediblly delicious and I could honestly have eaten two. The bread was soft and it was a well constructed breakfast dish. We also tried the the whipped feta and bread and that was warm and delicious. Everything was great. I'd also like to try their wine offerings during warmer weather and can't wait to go back.

Yelp
I ate here doing the extended Winter Restaurant Week 2023. We were able to eat outside because it was an abnormally warm day. Their backward dining area is super nice and I felt like I was in the Southwest. The restaurant week deal was delicious! I enjoyed my entree and mimosa! I love that we were able to order and pay on our phones as well. I will definitely return here in the future. I would love to check it out in the summer.

Yelp
Really nice ambience and convenient to get your drinks brought directly to the table whenever you order them on the app. Pretty pricey, but not unexpected. Food was real tasty!

Yelp
My friend & I visited Lulu's for the first time last night -- we sat on the Heated Outdoor Patio which was lovely, relaxing & very comfortable. I made a reservation ahead of time because the weather was so nice, so I recommend trying to grab a table before you show up to ensure you sit where you would like. We ordered the Whipped Feta, the French Fries, the Chicken Sandwich & the Cheeseburger. All of the food we ordered was really really good -- I personally tried the burger, feta & fries and would definitely order all of them again. The ordering concept is interesting because it is just a QR code, but the service was fast. We stayed for 2 hours just enjoying the space & food!

Yelp
We had so much fun here! The ambiance is what makes this place special. Nothing is super cheap, but you don't think much about it when you're out celebrating with friends. The service was nothing to take note of and it was not memorable, but everyone was nice. They will remind you when your reservation is coming close to time, as will most other restaurants.
