The view and the overall service were generally very good, and the staff were polite and professional. However, the room was extremely small for a five-night stay, which significantly affected the overall comfort.
Before arrival, Ms. Nhi Lam mentioned that she would monitor availability for a complimentary upgrade. Unfortunately, throughout the stay, there was no follow-up or proactive communication, and it felt lacking in sincerity—especially considering this is a low travel season.
As a Marriott Gold member, I was expecting a bit more recognition. I have stayed at comparable properties such as Phuket Marriott, St. Regis Singapore, JW Marriott Saigon, Ritz-Carlton Fukuoka, and Ritz-Carlton Bali, where the benefits and treatment for elite members were noticeably better. In comparison, this hotel did not offer any particularly special or thoughtful consideration for Gold members.
Overall, while the view and basic service were good, the room size and elite member experience did not meet expectations for a hotel at this level.
