Where To Eat Near The Beach In Los Angeles - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"This grocery store off PCH is perfect for both pre- and post-beach snacking. It has all the prerequisite gourmet health food items you’d expect: green juices, non-pasteurized specialty cheese, and adaptogenic whatevers. But the deli is where the real action is. There’s a hot tri-tip sandwich with sautéed onions and bell peppers on a pressed panini baguette that’s fully satisfying, especially when the only thing you’ve ingested all day is a mouthful of sand. And that wasn’t intentional." - Brant Cox, Kat Hong

Vintage Grocers - Review - Malibu - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Located in the massive Trancas Country Market, this high-end grocery store has all the prerequisite health foods you’d expect: green juices, specialty cheeses, and adaptogenic whatevers. But the deli is where the real action is—there’s a tri-tip sandwich that comes on a hot-pressed panini baguette and is covered with sauteed onions and bell peppers for a much-needed sweet kick. Plus, you have your choice of sides—salt and vinegar chips, coleslaw, pasta salad, fresh fruit, etc—but if you’re not getting the macaroni salad… get back in line and try again. Thick, al dente elbow macaroni paired with a creamy mayonnaise that’s used judiciously." - Kat Hong

TASTY BREAKFAST BURRITO STOP w/ a BREAKFAST BUFFET! Yes, you heard that correctly! Vintage Grocers has incredible breakfast burritos (all-meat, veggie). The store also has a breakfast buffet with waffles, eggs, sausage, and SO much more. These folks up in Malibu have it GOOD lolol. Vintage Grocers is a trendy market with essential grocery items like milk, bakery items, etc. I even spotted a COFEE BAR INSIDE called Swaggy P's. The dude at the register told us we could pay for burritos at his coffee bar register but all other items (breakfast buffet, etc.) need to be checked out at the main registers located at the front of the store. He was the friendliest of the store's crew. Everyone else was a bit shifty and a little stuck-up. The store no longer allows customers to use the restrooms, we tried to use them but alas it wasn't meant to be and I was kind of disappointed. Overall, I like coming here because the food options and grocery items are always reliable. Parking is easy and the store is never really packed in the mornings. NOTE: Vintage Grocers is located in the Trancas Shopping Plaza.

Fine selection of wines. The fresh-made foods were very appetizing. There is a huge variety and choices for hot meals, sandwiches, sushi, etc. The store looks modern and is well-kept.

Best customer service, lovely guys working there. Got asked of if I needed help in the store twice in the space of 5 minutes 👏👏 Best food 🥘 we had chicken burrito 🌯 so yummy & so big we shared one. Girls had sticky orange chicken & rice the BESTTTTT

Hot breakfast food. Service is fast and workers are lovely. Good jams playing on the loud speaker. Tables and chairs outside. The juice bar and coffee bar are awesome. Choices are not your average drinks. They have smoothies and fun tasting lattes. Parking is easy - connected to the same lot as Starbucks.

Nice grocery store in an upscale shopping area next to Christie’s and Malibu brewing Company. I enjoyed eating from the hot bar; they also have a poke bar. The steak and chicken were a little tough likely overcooked, but I enjoyed the veggies and the ziti. They have a nice seating area outside where you can bring your dog. Groceries a bit on the expensive side, but well worth the nice clean interior service and the shopping experience and the location most of all. If you’re camping at thornhill broome, sycamore canyon, Leo Carillo (they have their own beach store) this is a great location

I have lived in Los Angeles for many years, but I have never seen such a delicious brisket sandwich anywhere! It is incredibly delicious, it is prepared with love! The guy who cut our brisket is responsive and friendly! Thanks bro! I do not know where else you can find a better real brisket sandwich than here in Malibu at Vintage Grocery Market. I strongly recommend visiting this market to everyone who loves brisket sandwiches and buy them, it is simply incredible, and delicious!!!

I love this place!! Proud to wear their Hat… (hoping to get their black employee shirt). Always love to drive from home in Port Hueneme / Oxnard area to get their Poke and Hot Bar Food. All their employees are nice and helpful. Anytime we come home from LAX area and take the coast, this place is a for sure stop for food and a great refreshment in store or at the Starbucks outside next to them. Thank you Vintage Grocers for all the EPIC Poke Meals!! 🇺🇸🤙🏻☺️🤙🏻🇺🇸

Stopped by for a few drinks and snacks while driving down the PCH. Store was very clean and well-maintained. I believe they support the local farmers and vendors as there were many local items. All the produce, fish, and meats looked very fresh. Aisles were spacious and shelves were fully stocked. Stopped by the juice and coffee bar for a few drinks. Staff there was very friendly and made conversation while making the drinks. Don't remember the name, but ordered a veggie juice with a few fruits. It was delicious and fresh as could see them prepping the fresh fruits and vegetables for each order. Was glad I came here instead of the big coffee shop next door.

Yelp
Very friendly service and great selection of many food & beverage items . Store is well-organized and laid out. If you're on a budget, still consider visiting - there are plenty of sales tucked within and around the $20 loaves of bread! I'd recommend $5 fresh cookie deal and if you're into tequila, ask Mike - he knows his stuff! Will definitely return.

Yelp
Sadly. it just takes one bad apple to spoil the bunch. I don't appreciate being talked to in a manner so rudely by an older male check-out clerk just for asking him not to breathe/touch my muffins in the bag! He could have just asked me what was in the bag... Remember vintage it's all about service/customer experience and being professional Sadly on this day none of that happened. This checker may serve the greater good by stocking shelves away from the happy customers...

Yelp
Had the pleasure of meeting the man the myth the legend himself Chef Antonio (Hot Bar Chef) today. My wife and I drive from Woodland Hills weekly for the orange chicken, smoked brisket and assortments. Chef Antonio gave us a sample of today's cioppino and let's just say we left the store with half of the serving tray. Thanks Again!

Yelp
Place is good. Like Whole Foods in LA. Kitchen is better though. What else to say. Good place! I been there couple times.

Yelp
Best grocery store! Staff is so helpful and kind. Showed me where things were and the Deli is the best. Have you tried the pizza? Best ever!

Yelp
Needed a quick place to get lunch, so why not a grocery store... It seemed like the obvious choice. The market has food and we were looking for lunch, the one thing we didn't expect was the deli and hot food section of this market. To say I was impressed would be abn understatement. Not only did they have fresh deli sandwiches crafted before your eyes, but they also made fresh pizzas to order and there was a huge selection of hot food items and desserts too. Overall the prices were a little steep, but this is Malibu, the service was very good and the quality was teriffic. We sat outside on the provided tables and enjoyed our semi-picnic lunch near the ocean (well at least an ocean breeze) Aloha

Larissa P.

Yelp
Very nice place, everything was fresh, from the Hot Bar to the Bakery and Fruits. We found everything we needed and the staff was friendly

Andrea B.

Yelp
Looks like a nice store but it's not. For the prices the employees should have knowledge. We tried to order sliced ham and the young man behind the counter couldn't find the ham. Then he sliced more than we asked and just grabbed it w his hands and then walked away leaving the ham on the scale ! Then we tried to get a pound of broccolini from another young man and he did t know what that was. He grabbed that w his gloved hands that he was just using for something else. Use tongs! Then he didn't know how to Use the scale so he went to get help. So we left

Yelp
10.99 for a crappy gas station style sandwich, on white bread and all, sums up this place perfect. And it'd be easy to make fun of their name as trying a little too hard to glom on to the laid-back "vintage" Malibu style but I'll hold back, though hard not to wonder who the hell wants "vintage" food?

Sylvia R.

Yelp
Fancy Malibu grocer with excellent service and some surprisingly reasonable and delicious sandwiches. And the service is top notch. I was intimidated walking in but had a great experience. It was also packed on a weekday, but everything went quickly.

Yelp
Traveling PCH often, coming from Ventura to LA, we stop at the Vintage Grocers. Upon a great selection of fine grocery items and produce, we head straight for the deli section. The freshly made sandwiches are perfect for a picnic lunch at the beach. The coffee shop inside the store serves up fantastic cappuccino and delicious sweet treats. Our server, Fernando was very gracious and helpful. There is plenty of patio seating out front of the store or on the grassy area close by.

Yelp
Expensive but high quality groceries are sold here. I stopped by after a long day of work and bought some organic cheese, yogurt, and a drink. Anja is a friendly and considerate employee. After she saw the veteran hat that I was wearing, she asked if I usually get a discount. I replied that I sometimes get a veteran discount at some places. She then told me about the veteran discount here and applied the discount to my items. Please give Anja a raise and a promotion :) I highly recommend this place.

Yelp
first time here, what an amazing experience, a very beautiful place and perfect spot to grab a bite! the food was hot and ready, but also had many different types of dishes and meals and snacks. the service was amazing, everyone was so friendly and so welcoming! coming here every chance i get.

Yelp
One of the best little grocery stores in Malibu. They have very fine foods in excellent choice of craft beer. Next time I visit in Malibu I'm gonna do all my shopping here :-)

Yelp
Vintage Grocers is a splurge of a grocery store but I am 100% here for it. Any grocery store that has its own logo merch is bougie in the best way possible LOL. Located off the PCH in Malibu it's an easy grocer to access and they have their own parking lot shared with the other little boutiques. The store was bigger then I expected and easy to navigate. It was clean and welcoming. Well, as welcoming as a grocery store could be (maybe some free samples next time and I'd say SUPER welcoming). Anyways, it's a "fancy" type grocery store were buying a couple items will easily run you $50. I grabbed some yogurt, dips, and non alcoholic drinks which easily ran up a tab. It's pricy but again, it's about the quality and the uniqueness of the items they sell that make this spot worth it. The staff were very friendly and check out was a breeze. The reason for a docked star is it's just a bit pricey for my taste and I found the hot/cold bar and fresh items harder to navigate as that area was more squished and long lines forming to get items. I also think since covid I prefer the hot/fresh bars to have items pre packaged. I really wanted to try their poke but I didn't like the idea that it was siting out while in a busy congested area of the market with everyone standing by it. I'm not normally so OCD but the food was looking exposed to the elements lol. Also I came right after Christmas so that could be why some of the items were out of stock. There was some canned fish and sauces I was looking for but they were sold out on the shelf and it was only like 1pm. I give Grace though because I'm imagining it's better stocked not after a holiday rush. Vintage groceries is an easy 4/5 for me and I would definitely be back as their items are more unique and I loved the BLT dip I found in the fresh bar section.

Yelp
This is one of our stops on the way to the beach. They have really good options for yummy foods. We usually get sandwiches (BYO) and poke and sushi, etc. The sandwiches come with a pickle and side of choice (potato salad, Mac salad, pesto penne salad, etc). We got Turkey on ciabatta (toasted first) with lettuce, tomato, sprouts, avocado, Muenster cheese, and mayo....it was delicious! So was the pesto penne salad. We also got a side of potato salad (flavor was good but some of the potatoes were under cooked). Sergio was behind the deli counter and helped us. He was nice and made a great sandwich! :-) (I forgot to take a pic of the sandwich this time) We also got spicy tuna poke and a spicy salmon roll sushi and Chica's tortilla chips (really good if you haven't tried the...and the go great with poke) and the vegan (broccoli) krunch salad (also yummy). It's nice that they have a bunch of condiments to go with the food... packets of mayo, soy sauce, mustard, Tapatio, Sriracha sauce, ranch, honey mustard, chili flakes, salt, pepper, etc.) and cutlery is given at checkout by the cashier (you have to ask). We like this market and they have a lot of yummy choices ;-p

Yelp
Were you ever curious about the supermarket that Kylie and Kris Jenner visited "for fun" on Hulu's The Kardashians? Well, it's actually the Vintage Grocers in Malibu. There's a bakery, a full-service deli, and a juice and coffee bar. It's actually located in a cute barn-style shopping center along PCH with a Starbucks and other boutiques. It's definitely worth checking out if you're in the area, specifically, the Trancas Country Market!

Yelp
This place legit has everything you could need for a beach day and everything your local grocery store at home doesn't. We stopped by on the way to the beach. Parking lot is small it if you're patient you can easily snag a spot. Huge selection of hot food, poke, sandwiches. baked goods, juice bar, all the perfect beach snacks you could ask for. I know it sounds weird but I heard this place has the best muffins and it's not a lie. We grabbed a banana nut and lemon poppy seed and they were so enjoyable. I was too chicken to try the Cappuccino flavored one. Maybe next time. Must stop by when in or around Malibu.

Yelp
I don't know what it is, but there seems be something in the water here in Malibu. With it's 21 (not 27 miles) of scenic beauty... (Look this one up, it's got interesting history) With all of the Rich & Famous literally living their best lives... And with every Malibu resident always smiling, looking cool & relaxed with no care in the world; It makes me want to drink the water too. So naturally, with every upscale city, there needs to be an upscale place to do the grocery shopping and let me tell you, Malibu's Vintage Grocers knows what's up. Not only is it an upscale grocery store, but it's a cool grocery store too and there's definitely nothin' wrong with that. Every aisle you walk down is absolutely immaculate. The produce department looks like a museum with nothing out of place and the butcher (meat and seafood department) always looks picture perfect. Vintage Grocers literally reminds me of how in the movie Titanic, Rose describes her recollection of the Ship as she begins to tell her story... "It's been 84 years, and I can still smell the fresh paint. The china had never been used. The sheets had never been slept in. Titanic was called the Ship of Dreams, and it was. It really was." It's like me saying... It's been 7 years (when Vintage Grocers opened), and I can still see the paint drying. The fruit has never been touched. The butcher block has never been used. Vintage Grocers is called the grocery store of Dreams, and it is. It really is. Haha... RIP Jack Dawson, sorry buddy she let you go. =) And for those of you that haven't seen Titanic, Spoiler Alert! Spoiler Alert! Spoiler Alert! The Ship Sinks =( -------------------------------------------------- In all seriousness, I absolutely love Vintage Grocers. I was super excited when they brought one to Thousand Oaks and very saddened when it closed shop. I have always appreciated shopping at a higher-end grocery store. Yeah, you pay a little more, but you know what...you get what you pay for in life. Quality isn't cheap and if you work hard in life, why not treat yourself to the finer things in this life? What I love most about coming to a grocer like this is the small town feel you get; the real down to earth customer service that you receive that you will never get at the major grocery chains. The fact that you will find product and brands at Vintage Grocers that quite honestly, you won't see hardly anywhere else is very unique and makes browsing the aisles that much for fun and interesting. So if you find yourself in the Bu, stop by and see for yourself what makes this store so special. To Malibu, To Vintage Grocers and its staff, I tip my hat to you and applaud you for your beautiful, cool grocery store.

Yelp
We stop here for poke anytime we are close to the area and want a beach picnic. I really enjoy their poke and also their coffee shop in house! Let's be clear... this is a bougie grocer spot and would not be my go to in the area, but for time to time and getting yummy snacks/lunch I love it every time!

Yelp
A friend and I have been making the monthly drive from SFV via Malibu Canyon for to-go breakfast since the start of the Time of COVID. They have an excellent food bar (pay by the weight) with 3-4 different eggs styles, assorted other BK treats, and nicely well-done bacon. There's a coffee bar inside, way better than the Starbucks, though I recommend order 1st, then get your food while your dronk is being made. Tables outside and benches by the grassy area. We take our food and park by a nice place overlooking the beach to watch the waves, people, and animals as we eat and talk.

Yelp
Best kept secret in Malibu! Ever since the discovery of this market, my life has not been the same. I look forward to going to this market every time I am in Malibu. There are times were I would want to take a trip down the PCH just to be in this store. Why you may ask? This store has EVERYTHING. It's a glamorous grocery store, bakery, coffee shop, eatery all in one. Whenever I take a trip to go to the beach, I aim for Point Dume. A little further up the coast than most would roam, but most definitely worth the trip. I always find things to eat and drink for my beach stay. They have everything from cooked meals, baked goods, alcohol, hand scooped ice cream, shakes, beach towels, and more! It is pricier than most, but given the location and quality, it does make sense. I would primarily come here for the cooked goods and ready to made items in the café. Pro tip: If you love earthy tasting foods please try the Matcha Super Green! Delicious and healthy!

Yelp
Rude staff! I was asking the lady behind the bakery bar the bread option (with my mask on) and she couldn't hear me. So I pull my mask a lil down for her to hear me clearer. A guy behind me just came answer my question and saying rudely to me 'YOU NEED TO PUT YOUR MASK ON WHILE YOU TALK' Duuuuu!!! The lady couldn't hear me! Beside I was pulling my mask up again. And he replies 'DOESN'T MATTER' Great! No wonder I see below some similar comments from others' experience. They will eventually lost customers because of their rude workers!!

Yelp
This is a fun place to stop in while you're driving on the Pacific Coast Highway through Malibu. They have a nice selection of quality products, and their liquor department is amazing! Some of their prepared foods are good, some of them are well questionable. But, overall, it's a pleasure to visit.

Yelp
Super helpful employees, wonderful fresh food and baked goodS. Love love love! Im a big fan and best part is I live 5 minutes minutes away

Yelp
Vintage Grocers is a neighborhood market in the 'Bu. Great store! Nice staff! Thank you for supporting our surf event with your yummy sandwiches and kettle chips.

Yelp
Just an overall amazing grocery store. The people... amazing. The quality of items... amazing The experience... amazing

Yelp
Breakfast burrito and hot food counter is actually well priced. Full bfast around $12 is a deal. I like this spot over all other breakfast quick bites in Malibu. Howdy's is great too but you will twice the price.

Yelp
We discovered this market when we drove to Malibu yesterday. Very interesting wine department with the most expensive $2,400 wine bottle I've ever seen in a supermarket. They also carry my fave sake, Wakatake Daijingo for $45.99! The service deli didn't look fresh so we didn't actually buy anything but it's a cool market in a new strip mall on PCH so I give them a 3.5 stars for the location and interior wine and spirits section. Employees weren't very engaging or friendly which is why I'm not giving 4 stars. If I lived in Trancas, I would probably shop here for specialty items and produce.

Gregg B.

Yelp
Always fun stopping in here. Pricey, but excellent selection of food, bev, and snack supplies when navigating this end of Malibu near the Ventura county line.

Yelp
My first time stopping by this place to get some snacks before headed to the beach. This place is such a cute place. Great stop for some produce, fresh deli. I order a pizza and it was really good next time I would ask for it to be cook a little longer since I like it a little more crunchy. Great prices and everyone is super nice and helpful.

Sharon N.

Yelp
The service at Vintage Grocers has improved, and the staff is more friendly and no longer avoids eye contact and keeps you waiting in the deli section.

Yelp
This is a really cute local grocery store in north Malibu at Trancas and the PCH They have everything and more. Groceries, produce, butcher, fresh and seafood, fresh prepared foods, beer, fine wine and fresh coffee- Did I say fresh coffee? Oh- yeah- I did! We were on a bike ride and we ordered and paid for coffee, and 15 minutes later we asked when the coffee will be ready- and the girl at the coffee stand within the store said she didn't make it yet. Make it? There was no one else there. She wasn't doing anything! Poorly managed place Coffee gave this place 0 stars. The barrista should be replaced with someone that gives a damn. The rest of the place gets 4 stars only because their prices are high That averages to 2 to me Next time we want coffee- we go to the Starbucks next door
google avatar

Yelp
OWNED BY WALMART- ENOUGH SAID! Food was nothing special.... Customer service was BEYOND HORRID. If you want to be attacked by mask Nazis and not rung up because you're not wearing a mask (while drinking a freaking cup of coffee!) go here! A short fat bald guy with glasses and the self proclaimed (malibu local) whos always on ring up aisle one - were the rudest people I've ever met and such a joke. Me drinking a coffee "can I please just buy one croissant from you" Him "I am scared of you, (backs up) it's been 5 weeks, where's your mask, we are not going to ring u up" Fuck them, fuck the scamdemic, never giving them business again!!!!

Yelp
This is such a gorgeous grocery store, I would shop here all the time if I would live nearby. The store is very clean and constantly maintained. Several counters with hot foods, drinks, sandwiches, meats and cheeses, plenty of take away options so there is no need to cook at home. Their products are fantastic, great quality, always fresh. Prices are a bit here, but it is well worth it. My favorite grocery store in the area.

Brad O.

Yelp
This is a hard review to write and it is a collection of experiences from 3 consecutive trips to the store in July. The concept of this market/fresh to go food kitchen has been a huge hit since it was redesigned after HOWS closed. There is a huge need and market for beach goers and locals for a full service market with a fresh food kitchen that actually prepares good, high quality food on PCH from the Santa Monica pier to county line. Sadly something has happened, the quality of the food and staff is down, WAY down! We picked up a sushi roll that was just made and being placed in the deli case. It was prepared by someone who has no experience with sushi. As soon as we took one piece out, the rest of the loosely rolled pieces just fell apart and it became a sushi bowl of rice, fish parts and seaweed pieces. It was spicy tuna but the spice level was over the top and actually burned all the way down. All that could be tasted was the hot ingredient and nothing else. Our $20 roll went in the trash, 80% uneaten. The slices of pizza were under the heat lamp and looked as dry and deflated as those at your local 7-11's hot food display. We picked up a dessert and took it home. The slice of pie had a crust with no butter. It was obviously skipped or forgotten and the crust was just flour and water, yuck! Another item into the trash. On the last trip the individually packaged desserts were 4-5 days old according to the "made on" date. So they sat around in those loose closing hard plastic containers and got nice and dry and hard. I asked the person at the carving/pizza station a simple question about one of the sandwiches and his response was "I don't know". No attempt to find out the answer and just said "next". There were groups or 2-3 employees who were gathered at certain spots in the store just chatting. Meanwhile there was spilled food at the hot food self serve bar, dirty tables outside, some trash on the floor and a generally messy store appearance. Where is the manager?? Why isn't there a visible manager? This market was really great and actually fun to go to. The owners seems to have adopted a new plan of lower quality food, no manager on busy weekends and new prices that are over the top even for a specialty store right across from some of the most expensive sand in the state/country. How sad!!

John S.

Yelp
Love this store! So happy you carry Nancy Silverton's gelato as well! This is the real deal Italiano yum! Thank you.

Yelp
Nicely stocked grocery store that's one of the few places to get food on this side of Malibu (without driving a couple of miles). Lunch time during the week will find you standing in line at the deli area. They have some pre-made lunch items in both a cooler section and a warming section. Of course, they are also a grocery store so they have most of the items you would need for normal cooking, picnics, etc. I was in a bit of a hurry so I grabbed a couple of the pre-made items. Remember...you are in Malibu and prices are reflected at the checkout stand. In all fairness, the two items I picked up, mac & cheese and 6 chicken wings, was enough to share. These two, plus a 16 ounce bottle of soda was...$24. So, share this with a friend or partner and you have a reasonable lunch. This was my first visit and I didn't get through many aisles nor did I get a chance to walk around outside much but I wasn't able to find an area to sit and eat. There's a restaurant that has some nice outdoor seating (for some reason, they want you to by your food from them ;) ) and a few benches in the complex but no (that I could find) picnic tables. So, I had lunch in my car in the parking lot in the back. The good news is that they have trash cans out there so you have a place to clean out your car when you are done eating. Vintage also has public restrooms just past the deli and that is very useful when you are eating on the run. If you have the time, wonder on through and I hope you find a few things to buy and eat. Enjoy!!!

Yelp
Great great great place to grab food especially early in the morning. This is probably why there were a lot of surfers here. I mean, if you want a "real" and "hot" meal and it's 8 in the morning and your options are sit-in restaurants and Starbucks, this is a great option. VINTAGE GROCERS is a supermarket that offers a variety of hot food on their self-serve display. The following are what we were able to try out for breakfast and then later on, for lunch: STEAK AND EGGS OMELETTE - real steak. tastes great. POTATO HASH - good THICK CUT BACON - very good! SALMON POKE - good ALOHA TUNA POKE - good There is also a coffee stand that "barista-ed" us a great latte using GROUNDWORK coffee. Large free parking lot at the front and at the back.

Yelp
Excellent paninis made ahead of time and grilled to perfection while you wait. The sides and pickles add depth and fill you up!

Yelp
Great spot. their premade food selection is extremely high quality and expansive. I've also had their sushi which was good. Their baked good section is beautiful and I'd confidently order from them if they were a bit closer to my home. The location of this place is important to note. I'm sure it's a saving grace for the locals who live near by, but I also love it because we can grab snacks on the way to a Malibu beach or to the dunes. I love coming here for their premade eggs and bacon on the weekends. Their bacon is the most delicious I've ever had. It's thick, perfectly cooked, not overly crispy- omg it's amazing. Their eggs aren't as stellar but I love the ease of just scooping them out cafeteria style because, as my profile says, I love eggs. Especially scrambled. Dropped off a star because the coffee baristas are a bit painfully slow. They're really nice and they've definitely gotten better since our last visit but it's still a little nuts how slow they can be. I'll still be coming and ordering coffee. They serve intelligentsia which is gold by coffee standards, or maybe my standards, and they make a great almond milk latte.

Yelp
Such a convenient and well stocked market! I usually stop here before going to one of the beaches. They have the best hatch chili cornbread and love those white chocolate macadamia nut cookies!

Yelp
Great hot food bar...Whenever i'm in the area I stop by and serve me some healthy veggies and orange chicken. Don't forget to grab some of that organic soup to hear at home. That chicken tortilla soup is the bomb. Wish they served soup hot again.

Yelp
We love vintage!!! At times it feels like an extension of our home - we go there basically every day. Love their coffee bar especially! I Bulletproof latte, drip coffee or mexi mocha...mmm. Their sandwiches and pizza are also great and fairly priced. Will get occasional grocery items here too. Also, they have some amazingly nice employees! We've relied on their hot bar a little too much in the past hah! Great food, but given the times and all of the plastic containers used for the hot bar, we've stopped getting it. Understandable, just to use less plastic. Can't wait till the outdoor seating opens back up. A great community spot. Thanks Vintage!

Yelp
Not gonna lie, I came here because I read Lady Gaga used this grocery store and I was curious just what do Celebrity grocery stores look like? Honestly, Malibu is fast becoming my favorite get away and the immaculate houses up in the hills all tucked away and safe always look so cool and amazing! I came here though with the realization it probably is just like the nice grocery stores back in Michigan where I come from where things are a little more on the pricey end but you know you are getting quality and that's why the rich do know where it is at! I was right! They remind me of what we in Michigan call D & W and a higher version to Target, where it's up there but even people like me can afford it! I love places with Bakeries which this place had! I found these really cute cupcakes and they were a decent sizing!! I am definitely coming back, especially if I am cruising the boulevard which I do from time to time! I may even do one of those videos where the girl is going down the street in her car with her hair effortless blowing back in the wind! Ya, and I will drive right past here and picture these wonderful places that time has forgotten but when we share our experiences, they stay frozen in a moment and others can explore and see them in their reality! I believe in that, guess I am a pretty open minded type of girlie! Vintage Grocers, I will be back and this time, were getting deli too! xoxo

Yelp
I found this place today after being in Malibu for over the last year! I stopped by the bank and went into another establishment for lunch and decided to change my mind. That was when while walking to my car I noticed Vintage Grocers. I walked in and boy am I glad that I did. They have so many fresh, farm to table options as well as some of the best lunch items you can buy at a reasonable rate/price in comparison to other places in Malibu. I ended up ordering the Godfather Panini and some Maine Lobster Bisque soup. Both were absolutely delicious and I am definitely stopping by here more frequently for my lunch. Additionally, they sell some of the prettiest succulents I have seen for only about 10$ each. Great for hanging in the house or placing in as a center piece. The staff here were wonderful, greeting and helpful with finding everything I needed and wanted. Looking forward to the next meal and future plants to add to my collection!
