Chamblee Creates a Downtown Entertainment District with an Open Container Policy for To-Go Cocktails | Eater Atlanta

"Included in Chamblee’s downtown entertainment district that took effect July 1, this establishment may participate in the city’s open-container area between Ingersoll Rand Drive and McGaw Drive, allowing patrons to consume off-premise alcoholic beverages within the designated boundaries under strict rules: drinks must be served in clear plastic cups bearing the establishment’s logo and an authorized city sticker, and open containers must be disposed of by 10:00 p.m. Possession of open beverages outside the district, after 10:00 p.m., or in unauthorized containers can result in citations or fines. The district is intended to promote local businesses, walkability, and community gathering; state rules on to-go cocktails (SB 236) still apply where municipalities permit them, including limits on quantity, container type, alcohol content, and purchaser identification." - Beth McKibben

Google
amazing pizza, amazing service. every time I do a takeout order from here, the staff is always so friendly and attentive. my experience today specifically inspired me writing this review. I was greeted by smiles and was immediately taken care of. While the kind gentleman (tall, black hair - I'm horrible with names😭) went to get my order, about 5 different employees greeted me and asked had I been helped. You have no idea how good it feels to be acknowledged as a customer. It creates an environment where the customer feels welcomed and it makes me more than happy to come back and keep ordering from here. It takes a team effort to bring that welcoming energy, and your staff has overachieved. thank you for amazing pizza and amazing service!!!

Google
I ordered the baked lasagna and the portion was very generous and fresh. Loved the ricotta cheese on it. The spinach salad was also very fresh. Very nice ambiance and great attention. My server was polite and friendly. 😊

I've been to 100s of pizza joints and this for sure cracks my all time top 10... And number 1 in Atlanta area!! Sausage was delicious! Crust perfect!!

Google
I walked in, and The atmosphere was welcoming I was greeted by my server, Daniel Displayed outstanding customer service was there on time got everything right and had a smile on his face the entire time. The food was great and I would definitely recommend this to others!

Google
We went on Halloween 🎃 as a treat. Normally we for dash it. Good was so good fresh and full of flavor. We ordered a half and half pizza and cheese sticks. It's easier Daniel was amazing. Price was great did is fantastic if I had one complaint it's the parking situation but beyond that this is a great place to eat.

Brent R.

Google
This is a great place for a quick bite or a meal with friends. The pizza is great, but the big secret is the burgers! They have great burgers, some of the best ones around! And you can get pizza by the slice for lunch!

Tempest O.

Google
We found Vintage bc they were on Door Dash and have never had a bad order, so Halloween night we were out about about and decided to go in. And we were so glad we did! Our server was named Daniel and he was so delightful - very chill but a great server who was attentive without hovering. My partner had a cocktail - I can't remember the name, but it had gin in it - and he said it was delicious. The food did not disappoint, even better than delivery bc you get it fresh and super hot. Initially they brought us the wrong order but were gracious and replaced it without hesitation. So if you're thinking about checking Vintage out, either thru delivery or in person, GO NOW! 🍕

Google
I got the vintage pizza, which has lots of toppings. The toppings were excellent - very fresh and tasty. The dough was very good, but was a little thinner than what I prefer. My friend really enjoyed her calzone.

Yelp
Was looking forward to this spot since it seemed pretty busy on a Thursday evening. Unfortunately, the pizza was extremely disappointing. Ordered a large half vintage and have bbq chicken pizza, a salad, and wings. The vintage side was ok but didn't have much flavor or salt. The bbq chicken side was so saucy all I could taste was strong bbq sauce, which also threw off the pizza texturally. I've never had a slice drenched in so much sauce. The salad and wings were standard but not amazing. Won't be returning tor their pizza.

Yelp
Awesome spot, ample parking next to the restaurant, because who doesn't love not having to walk a mile to get their food. Went here for lunch, because, priorities. The ambiance was inviting. Even though it wasn't busy. The waitress was friendly, not too chatty, just right. I decided to go with the lunch special, a slice of pizza with the soup of the day, because, why not? The slice of pizza was gigantic and delicious, like a taste explosion in my mouth. Not greasy and very tasteful, my diet's worst nightmare. For sure, I will visit this restaurant again next time I am in town for business.

Yelp
I ordered on DoorDash and was impressed with how fresh everything was even after delivery. I added notes and the kitchen gave me the service I requested and that's always a bonus. Especially on a busy Friday night. I ordered the small meat lovers, hot wings and fries. I will say the wings are not crispy as advertised but I did get them delivered so maybe fresh to order. But they were still amazing! Juicy and fall off the bone. Not too spicy , but flavorful. The toppings on the meat lovers was perfect! I haven't been in person but I'll update if I do.

Yelp
I had their pizza for the first time at taste of Chamblee. It was really good. Because it was the end of the night only 10 more minutes left they gave me two slices instead of one for the same price. I thought that was classy and nice. They were very friendly. The pizza didn't look good at all. It looked like on a one to 10 maybe a five but it tastes a nine.

Yelp
This is a small but decent sized bar that has a pizza specialty. It has a local bar or tavern feel to it. The parking lot is very small so you may have to do some maneuvering. There are probably 10 spots in front of the building. But it's free so that's good. They have a whole separate side to the restaurant so if you come in and assume it's small, just know there is more. They have TV's around the establishment so you can catch a game if you are trying to watch sports. They also happen to have outdoor patio seating as well. It's not overly abundant, but there is enough if you wanted to be outside. Now the service was okay. It wasn't anything amazing overall. But they were very delayed with something that I ordered and they're not sure what happened. So they ended up taking it off the bill because it took so long. I thought that was really good to try to accommodate since I didn't ask them to do that and I was the stand-up thing to do. It shouldn't have taken over 20 minutes of mozzarella sticks LOL. But they made it right so I can't be mad at that! They serve slices of pizza, and you can get any of the specialty pizzas in slice form too. The slices are very generous so you won't be disappointed at the size. Cheese steak - This pizza slice was great. I would probably get a whole pie of this lol. The sauce was very good, the meat was tender and cooked very well. I wish that I had gotten more of them (but that would just look like I was being gluttonous, lol). Meat lovers - It wasn't anything special but it was decent. Fries - The fries were hot and crispy, nothing wrong with them. Mozzarella sticks - They were good. Aside from taking all day waiting around for them, they were pretty tasty. Solid appetizer and I would order them again. I got them right out of the grease I guess because they were piping hot and still had the good cheese pool that you expect. It came with marinara sauce and a ranch pepper sauce as well. So if you wanted something with a little kick to it that would be what you would be asking for. Overall, this is a good spot for pizza slices. It isnt fancy, may be a step above a dive bar vibe, but they will treat you right!

Yelp
What an amazing Pizza experience My Vintage pizza was outstanding and Axel took such good care of us. The vibe was laid back and chilled! I highly recommend this spot for a Saturday evening of pizza with family and friends!!

Yelp
Have only been for lunch. Get there just before noon bc the place tends to fill up. Small parking lot so park across the street. Everything I've had off their menu has been very good. Thin crust on the pizza w slices that'll make NYC pizza lovers proud. Great service, can get noisy once it gets packed, but we're here to eat and not confession.

Carla G.

Yelp
Visited on a Thursday at 11:45pm, they weren't "busy". Each time, I'm becoming more disappointed. This is my second visit in less than 2 weeks. Each time, I've sat at the bar in the same place because I am alone and don't want to take up a table. Employees rush around near me and not one person says "hello" or "we'll be right with you". I notice a few new faces but it's definitely not the place it once was. 2 tables come in and then a person to pick up a to go order and they are both approached before me. My pizza was tasty but honestly the vibes have been off there.

Yelp
Their house salad dressing is perfect! My husband and I visited this local pizza joint numerous times for a simple but good pizza, and a Greek salad once a week for almost a year before moving from the area. Great neighborhood spot! We miss it!

Frances P.

Yelp
I can't say enough about how much we love Vintage! My BF has been going since high school and when we moved to Chamblee it was the first place he took me. From the pizza to the calamari, to any sandwich (ANY!) and the wings to the delish bruschetta, you can't go wrong. The Vintage pizza plus hot wings with a craft beer and some vino is our regular order: Make sure you get a big hug from the amazing waitress Shawn while you're there

Jim H.

Yelp
I can't say enough about the level of service and quality of the food. We ordered pizza for the nursing staff at CHOA, and Judson was amazing to work with. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the pizza, and it felt great to give back to the nursing staff that takes care of our daughter. Great food and even better people. Thank you!

Yelp
Cute place and nice staff. The food is killer. The wings and pizza are always great. My husband is obsessed with their spaghetti and meatballs. Lasagna is good. I always get a side salad with my meal and it's so good with the jalapeño ranch. Never a bad experience.

Kandus J.

Yelp
This pizza was absolutely incredible!! We ordered it to go because we were down the road selling art but best believe I will be going back soon to sit down inside! The pizza was fresh, delicious and full of flavor!! Everything was cooked to perfection! Don't sleep on this place, y'all!

Devika S.

Yelp
Best pizza I've eaten in Atlanta. It's so warm and comforting. The fried calamari with okra and jalapeño is very delicious as well. Service is fast and friendly! Very attentive.

Yelp
Vintage Pizzeria serves Jersey style pizzas, pastas, salads, and drinks from their full bar. It has a vibe that could personify the essential neighborhood bar or neighborhood pizza joint. They really aim to serve families, couples, and people just trying to grab a bite. Their pizzas are solid enough and come at a pretty reasonable price for what you get. A large will feed two hungry people or three average hungry people. Expect the cheese to slightly cover most of the toppings, but fear not, they are hiding under there. The largest salads will feed probably five or six people. They're fresh and crisp. Service is prompt and friendly. They're quick to provide refills and check on you often without being too much. The parking lot is a little annoying and tight for larger cars. Part of the parking lot dead ends to the right as you enter.

Yelp
There are times when one must obey the taste buds... and Vintage Pizzeria easily fit the bill! I've been looking for brick oven deliciousness, for quite some time, as an old haunt of mine fell out of favor. Nestled in the Chamblee area, along the area of Peachtree Rd populated by small business and antique shops, it's easy to miss unless you know to look for it. A favorite of locals, Vintage's exposed brick & wooden-beamed ceilings warmly welcome families and adults alike, with a side of the restaurant reserved for 18+ / adults which is great for watching sports events and quieter conversation. The knowledgeable bartenders and staff keep the drinks and food coming on both sides, while the aromas fill one's senses and complicate the mind on simply what to choose on the menu (possibly a Jedi mind trick...who knows) As this was my first visit, it only seemed practical to start with their namesake pizza - The Vintage. Layered with meats and veggies, it was sure to please. But any pizza connoisseur is going to weigh the pros and cons of the dough (which is made fresh daily) and the marinara. The marinara (not too acidic) melded really well with the neopolitan-style crust and toppings in each bite. Honestly, the best thing about good pizza is when it has that *Mom-n-Pop love* flavor. Vintage easily does that! Other menu options include calzones, subs, salads, pastas, dessert, full beverage fare and kid-friendly items, to please the crowd. I'll be going back to try some of these offerings as well :) NOTE: For reference, the medium pizza pictured (14" I believe) should feed 2-3 adults Parking is adjacent to the building & free, but be warned, the sign is somewhat hidden from street views by trees, so travel slowly when looking for the storefront. BON APPÉTIT, my Fellow Foodies

Yelp
Cozy ambiance, excellent service, delicious classics, and overall just gives wholly unpretentious vibes. Also the GM is the coolest guy ever!

Yelp
I very much like this place. Super casual, friendly, and the food is always good. But I must quote my friend, the one who introduced me to Vintage Pizzeria some years ago. She says they have, "delicious food, friendly atmosphere, and amazing service. The food is crunchy and gooey and meaty and cheesy and wonderful." I asked what made the atmosphere at Vintage different from any other pizza place and my friend replied: "The lady that usually takes care of me there remembers my name and is always smiling and happy to see me." My friend's go-to meal here is an extra crispy Stromboli with pepperoni bacon and spinach. She says, "It is consistently good. I've never had a bad meal or a bad time there." Truly, neither have I. My wife and I have been several times, and whether you're having the pizza or some pasta, you really can't go wrong with anything on this menu. My wife and I usually split a Caesar salad and it is plenty for the both of us before we get to our entrée. Oh, and there are daily/weekly specials, and lunch specials that are worth examining. Some nights are busier than others. Maybe it's trivia night, or maybe the local softball gang just got done playing, or maybe the breeders are all out with their spawn. But this has never seemed stopped us from getting service and food pretty quickly. I'm not a beer drinker, but the beer list seems pretty decent and I'm sure they change it up with some regularity. Plus there is a full bar if you desire something with more punch and flavor. It's easy to see why Vintage is a neighborhood favorite. Holler if you want to meet me there.

Yelp
Went in right before they got really busy, but the service was still slow. I ordered a pizza with half pepperoni and Italian sausage and the other half just Italian sausage, garlic bread, and a chef salad with house vinegarette. The pizza was fairly greasy and the sausage didn't have much flavor. The garlic bread was flavorless as well and not worth the price. I got a small salad and it only had 1 grape tomato, 1 slice of cucumber and there were some kind of hard white pieces on the meat. It is a small restaurant.
google avatar

Erin S.

Yelp
Decent spot to get pizza and a salad. I got the large Greek salad. It was good, but not quite Mellow Mushroom level. The pizza is good. I wish you could order a slice for dinner and not just lunch! They have trivia on Thursdays. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, but I'll probably be back.

L F.

Yelp
A 3.5 review. Service was very friendly and prompt - even after I was told it might be slow because they were very busy. The space is larger than it looks but, broken up, so has a cozy/quaint feel. Oh, and plenty of TVs - they happily changed one to golf for me. I started with a draft 420 IPA, then a small house salad (huge portion) and a small pizza (another large portion - 6 slices). My only "not so great" was the pizza was lacking flavor...I ordered red sauce, onions, Canadian bacon and mushrooms. I think a small portion of these flavorful ingredients as well as a bland sauce, caused the lack of flavor. I will definitely return.

Yelp
Love love love vintage pizzeria I love the service, the vibe, the food and the ambiance. Everything is great here. The pizza dough is so fresh and perfect. I have never had pizza this food before. You can tell it's made with love. Right across the street from the frosty caboose so after you can have some desert. Perfect for date night or just an evening outing, yes they have a patio, two patios ;)
google avatar

Ashleigh W.

Yelp
Great food and great atmosphere! The lighting was too Dark to take great pictures, but the pizzas are incredible! My friends and I went on Trivia Night and had a great time! Only issue we had was the trivia night host/DJ. We were the only POC in the pizzeria and he walked up to our table and stated, "I hope you know you all have an advantage for this question." The bonus question was "Who were the the 5 Emmy Nominated Actors in the film The Black Panthers?" Really dude? We didn't laugh and he awkwardly chuckled then walked away. This is the reason for the 4 stars. Our server was amazing, the drinks were awesome, the food was delicious! I would recommend the Caesar Salad, Calamari, Wings, and any of their pizzas! We had 3 different make your own pizzas and they were phenomenal. Will we back again? Sure, just not on trivia night.

Yelp
This place is now my designated go-to pizza place! I loved it that much after my lunch here today. Vintage Pizzeria is a bit tucked away with minimal parking right outside (around 8-10 spaces), but there's plentiful street parking and a lot across the street (a stone's throw away literally). We decided to come during lunch (11-3PM) as this is the only time they sell by the slice vs their whole pizzas and we wanted to try a variety! They do have two lunch set lunch specials with slice and salad or soup, but we just wanted the pizza. They don't have specialty slice price on their in-person menu, but they do on their online website. I ordered the Vintage Pizza and their Blue Pie Pizza. The Vintage Pizza (8/10) was MOUNDED with toppings and they were not playing around. Vintage is the normal supreme-style pizza. You had all the toppings in each bite and it was delicious. The Blue Pie Pizza (6/10) was also tasty, but I think I would try something new next time I came back. It is similar to your buffalo chicken pizza and had blue cheese on top. There was a lot of oil on top of the pizza from the buffalo sauce, but that's to be expected. My partner ordered the Cheese Pizza and their Traditional Pizza. He said their Cheese Pizza (7/10) was your standard cheese pizza and he would order it again, but LOVED their Traditional Pizza (and so did I!) The Traditional Pizza (9/10) has garlic, olive oil, mozzarella, and basil and it was just far superior compared to the cheese alone. The garlic flavor comes through and just *chef's kiss* All of the pizzas' crust were thin and flavorful and we'll definitely be back. We had a total of 4 slices and after tip paid ~$25 for the two of us and still had a whole slice each for leftovers. Though we really can just get away with ordering one slice each for lunch here next time, I'm really looking forward to trying more!

Jackson B.

Yelp
Really good food it was very crowded the night I went but food was amazing and family friendly would recommend
google avatar

Jeremy R.

Yelp
Amazing pie.. truly. Some of the best in Atlanta and definitely worth the trip. Service was great and attentive (a rarity it seems) We will definitely be back .

Doris H.

Yelp
Pizza was good, but they forgot several of our toppings. They offered to bring one of the toppings (spinach) in a bowl and did not say anything else about the other toppings. We said no bc it would not be cooked along with the pizza. When it came time to pay they charged us the full price of the pizza. They said they could not offer a discount for their mistakes bc it was a "menu item"pizza, not individual toppings on a pizza. We were missing 4 toppings. When we let them know, they did not offer to remake/fix the pizza. Did not even offer to comp a soda.
google avatar

Katie R.

Yelp
We came in a Wednesday night! Half of wine was such a treat. Always a great time and really good food. Everyone is so accommodating and friendly. We love coming because the food is amazing and service is so fast (even when it's super crowded). My three little boys love the fettuccine and my husband and I love the pizza and spinach salad. It's a wonderful spot for families and, because there are two sections, it makes it easier for us to relax knowing we're in the company of other parents on the kids side :). Thanks so much for a great dinner!

Yelp
Yummy stuff! Been coming since the Dwood location opened. Pretty atmosphere, friendly staff and tasty pizza and salads!

Lejla M.

Yelp
Good pizza, good service We tried other things as well and they're ok -salads and chicken parm etc
google avatar

Fiona T.

Yelp
Ehhh, this place was okay. I was really disappointed with the size of the gf crust. I paid additional for the crust for essentially a much tinier pizza. Salads were mediocre. Nothing exciting about this spot unfortunately :(

Chris C.

Yelp
I usually get take out here, but the staff/decor/bar here is actually all very nice. This is the most reliably good takeout pizza in the area, IMHO. Also, in my limited experience the Chamblee location consistently puts out better pies than the Dunwoody location, fwiw. This pizza won't blow your mind, but it is reliably tasty. The crust can vary a bit from almost-excellent to decent. Caveat: I'm a bit of pizza snob. I've lived most of my life in regions with outstanding pizza, and Atlanta pizza is, in general, substandard. There are notable exceptions, and some great Neapolitan pies around here. But the average thin-sliced/"NY style" takeout pizza here is dreadful. Vintage in Chamblee is not. It is quite good.

Adam S.

Yelp
Great pizza good service neat decor a hidden gem for sure definitely going back again

James R.

Yelp
The pizza wasn't bad. We tried the blue pizza which is basically a buffalo chicken pizza and thought it could've used a little more sauce. We also go the calamari which is actually one of my favorite places to get calamari. It's got fried okra and hot peppers which makes it a little different- very good.

Yelp
This place is amazing! Best pizza and wings! Friendly staff. Bring my pooch to sit on patio. Love!!

Yelp
Came from out of town after car shopping. After a long day this was the first pizza place that popped up, and I'm very happy we came. Great vibes and delicious appetizers and pizza. Would 100% come again if back in town

Madeline M.

Yelp
The pizza was very good! Hole in the wall place with great pizza. We sat at the bar and had great service. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Very old world atmosphere and delicious food. My wife and I had a vegetarian pizza and it was very good. Give them a try and thank me later.

Chris G.

Yelp
Not sure every day pizza place. Food was really good. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The crust was made real well externally fresh pizza.
google avatar

Toby M.

Yelp
Pepperoni pizza was great as usual. Greek salad was delicious as well! Always enjoy coming here...
google avatar

Al R.

Yelp
In the spirit of full disclosure and transparency this is our neighborhood pizza joint and we love it! The pizza is thin crust and crispy with super fresh ingredients, the Greek salad is the bomb, the subs are killer, and they have a rotation of awesome craft beers. We've been coming here for years and consider Vintage an anchor to the ever growing restaurant scene in downtown Chamblee...don't forget to grab some ice cream at The Frosty Caboose for dessert!

JeffS S.

Yelp
I like everything here except pizza. Started today with a draft beer and a house salad. Meatball sub was fantastic. Fries may be best side item and they are especially tasty. Recommending the wings too.

Kim C.

Yelp
Had another great dinner from Vintage pizzeria in Chamblee. This time I chose the Chicken Piccata. Best decision ever! It was luscious, the chicken was very good, l added spinach which was really good, a healthy amount of capers, yum and al dented pasta. It was a beautiful dish. Along with wonderful, fresh , crunchy salad and the best garlic bread thus is a meal you can't beat.

Yelp
Upon entering I thought we had to wait to be seated. I guess the confusion upon my face showed because Shawna quickly greeted us and stated we could sit anywhere we liked. She added pointed to the bar or the other side which was the "adult" side as she stated it's family night and it was going to get pretty loud on the main side. We opted to go on the otherside. It was quite nice and quite. There were three men sitting at the bar. Another came as we were sitting. The bartender was not the friendliest at first. I only state that because we watched how she treated everyone else. While it was my first time dining in it was not my first time having food from Vintage. I was overwhelmed by the menu as was my friend. When asked for a suggestion the bartender stated "everything is good." I jokingly stated...well that's rare that everything is good but what is the "specialty item" that I can remember this place for? She replied anything. She has working for the company for 13 years so she has tried it all. After she walked away the gentleman sitting next to me made suggestions based on his "weekly" visits. I also asked Shawna, another server, as she passed by. Oddly enough I can remember her name but not the actual person serving us. It's simple, there was no connection made even though the bartender was serving us. Shawna took the time to make sure we were ok. Cleaned out area of small trash as we waited on our pizzas. Now when our pizzas arrived we had no idea that a small was big enough for two people but we took more than half our pizzas home. Overall, I liked the food and service. When I return I will definitely request for Shawna as a server. She was always smiling no matter what.

Cindy E.

Yelp
We've been going to Vintage in Chamblee for years. Today our experience was not as good as it used to be. First, the service was very slow. We sat at least 5 minutes as waiter's walked by us without acknowledging us & seemed to be chatting amongst themselves. Once we ordered, and our pizza came, the quality seems to have gone downhill. Hopefully it was just a bad day.
google avatar

Paige M.

Yelp
Best gluten free pizza i've had since being diagnosed with Celiac in 2018.... The service is next level. It feels homey and the people actually cared that I was gluten free! I believe the owner took my order and went to check if my initial order would be gluten free (the piccata sauce is thickened so it is not). He ran back to tell me and let me ask as many questions as I needed. I ended up getting the gluten free cheesesteak pizza and oh my lord... The pizza crust wasn't soggy and held up under the toppings! (for being gluten free that's a huge deal). My partner ordered the meatball sub and he devoured it, so Im guessing that's just as good! We are definitely going to make the 20+ minute drive back here!!!

Yelp
Vintage is usually where our office goes anytime we decide to have a group lunch. They are close to our office, provide good service, and offer delicious pizza. I'm personally mad at myself for always getting the same thing, but it never lets me down and is a good price. I usually get the Vintage Lunch Combination, which is a pizza slice, choice of salad, and drink for $8.95. In my case, pepperoni pizza, Caesar salad, and Sprite. The salad comes out first similar to an appetizer, then they bring out your pizza slice. The Caesar salad is okay. Not too much dressing and not too little. Although it's thin, the slice of pizza really big. I've never been able to finish a whole slice here, especially if I've already eaten a salad. Half of the slice usually makes it way back home with me, but I managed to eat it all today. Overall, Vintage is pretty good. It's normally kinda packed here during lunchtime, so keep that in mind, but it's always outdoor seating if the weather's nice.

Stacey T.

Yelp
I love it here . Their menu is a wide variety of Italian dishes. Great ambience and great staff

Yelp
Vintage Pizzeria was about what I expected which is 3 stars: A-OK. This is a casual pizzeria and bar located on the ground level of what looks to be a small brick apartment/condo complex. Parking is limited out front. It's easiest to just park in the gravel lot across the street next to the Frosty Caboose or in the fenced-in lot next door. Inside, the place looks somewhat rustic. Exposed brick, beams, and ductwork. There's a bar that splits the dining room down the middle. One side is for adults, the other side is for all ages. There is seating of all types: tables, booths, high-tops, the bar, etc. There are TVs playing sports. I wouldn't consider this a sports bar, but you can come here to catch a Braves game or other event if you want. This place was busy when we visited for a Wednesday night dinner. They serve not only pizzas, but a variety of Italian food. This includes meatballs, salads, pastas, calzones, strombolis, subs, and sandwiches. They have under-$10 lunch specials on weekdays. Outside of that, expect to spend at least $12-15 per person for a meal. Pizza by the slice is available from 11am to 3pm. They have gluten-free pizza too. If you customize a pizza, they have over 30 toppings to choose from. We tried one appetizer, one pasta, and one specialty pizza: App: Bruschetta ($8) - grilled ciabatta bread topped with tomato, garlic, basil, onion, shaved Parmesan, and balsamic glaze Pasta: Chicken Piccata ($13.50) - pan-sauteed chicken cutlet served on a bed of linguine with a lemon butter caper sauce Pizza: Vintage Pizza (medium, $19) - pepperoni, sausage, ham, bacon, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, black olives The way they serve the bruschetta here looks pretty sloppy. It tastes alright, though. They top the bruschetta with lots of wide shavings of Parmesan cheese and drizzle the balsamic on top. The toast was crisp and the toppings were fresh. The chicken piccata was OK. The meat was tender enough and I enjoyed the linguine noodles and garlic bread. The sauce was flavorful too. However, as much as I hate to say it, this plate wasn't a huge upgrade over something you might be able to buy frozen. The pizza was good. I'm guessing the "Vintage" is pretty much the equivalent of a supreme pizza. Thin crust and plenty of toppings, the kind that fall right off. This pizza is more of an American type pizza. Together with the piccata and app, the medium-sized pizza was more than enough food for the three of us. Terrific service. Not sure I'd come back on my own accord, but I wouldn't oppose if someone wanted to.
