"A complete surprise inside the isolated Gran Hotel Mas d'en Bruno, which occupies a restored farmhouse dating back to 1797 and surrounded by vineyards in the heart of the Priorat wine region. To the backdrop of a contemporary decor and open-view kitchen behind a large window, the seasonal cuisine on offer aims to recreate the flavours of inland Cataluña from a more modern perspective and with a focus on meticulous presentation. This is showcased on the à la carte and the option of three tasting menus (one of which is vegetarian). It is well worth eating on the terrace, with its views of the surrounding mountains and the vineyards of the Clos de l'Obac estate." - Michelin Inspector

It was way beyond our expectations! Vinum at Graham's is simply amazing. The whole package delivers an amazing experience. The view is breathtaking! The atmosphere, decorations and comfort of the restaurant make the experience even better. Food is perfect, pairing with great local wines. Service: Staff is flawless! From the host to the manager to our amazing waitress Mara all of them have made us feel very special. I strongly recommend Vinum once you're in Gaia.

After visiting Graham's cellars, we had dinner at their onsite restaurant Vinum. We got a nice table on the terrace overlooking Porto bay. We shared a beef carpaccio ("coca" de rosbife) and had the Duck magret with brioche and foie gras. To finish we had a selection of cheese with 2 glasses of Six Grapes port. The food was very well presented and delicious. Service was very professional. An overall excellent experience!

Let me start like this. Considering the price (around 75 euros per person) it will not live to your expectations. Other than that, presentation of the food is gorgeous, view is breathtaking and service is done in a way that people is there to agree with you (not exactly good this last one)... However, at this price tag, specially in Portugal, I expect I much more refined taste, service and experience. Bolinhos, olive oil and bread were great but mains were just non memorable. Pudim dessert was also a great finish to share (dont do it by yourself, sugar high). Good to bring someone there for a view-like experience.

What a fabulous venue. So atmospheric with views overlooking the river. The attention to detail was fantastic. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly and attentive and even allowed us to move half way through the meal when a terrace table became available. An unforgettable evening all round.

We had an incredible experience from reservation, to check in to service to the meal! We had a beautiful private table. The attention to detail and service, presentation was spectacular. Highly recommend if you also want to experience the wine tour which we did as well. If you don’t have a lot of time in Porto, I would book the Vin restaurant and the wine tour. The walk to the venue wasn’t that bad! We enjoyed the quiet hilly streets. The walk back helped digest our fulfilling meal and wine tour. Highly recommend for an all in one experience. The view from the top was simply beautiful.

My husband and I ate at Vinum to celebrate our wedding anniversary during our stay in Porto, and it was incredible from start to finish. There is ample space at and between all tables and the view over the river is sensational. The service was fabulous (I'm running out of positive adjectives now) and the food was to die for. Everything about the meal will stay in our memories. Thank you for looking after us and making it so special.

The food is delicious especially the duck. It is tender and the sauce is so good. And the apple pine is amazing. It is crunchy at the bottom and topped with ice cream. The restaurant has a stunning view. It is nice atmosphere with the wine showcase. They offer a lot of variety of wine. The server is so nice and polite.

This restaurant offers more than just a meal — it’s an experience. The location is absolutely spectacular, so make sure to arrive early to enjoy the full show: from the warm, shifting tones of the sunset to the glittering skyline as night falls. The staff is attentive, friendly, and strikes the perfect balance between professionalism and warmth. Each dish is a feast for the eyes — colorful, artfully plated, and full of unexpected flavors. The sauces deserve a special mention: they are never just decorative, but thoughtfully crafted to complement the dish — whether adding sweetness to balance saltiness, a touch of acidity, or an aromatic note that lifts the whole plate. We chose to focus on seafood, and it was nothing short of impressive — fresh, creative, and full of personality. The wine list is… adequate. But to be fair, we are Italian, and we’ve been spoiled by our wine culture. Portugal, you’re well on your way — keep going! Overall, a truly exceptional dining experience. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Vinum is located across the bridge with amazing views of the water. I would come to the restaurant just for the views alone. Reservations highly recommended especially since this place books out for events. I was in town for work and decided to come here with a colleague and tried our luck walking in. We had a short wait and a generous time limit but they squeezed us in the river view room. We started off with local red wine. We both wanted to try something local and asked for help. Delicious! We appetizers we started off with sourdough bread and the mushrooms. In addition to the appetizers, we were given a complimentary tapas too. I love mushrooms. Let me tell you. This mushrooms were out of this world. Omg!!! Sooo good. For dinner, we ordered the sea bass. So fresh and delicious. For dessert, we spilt the chocolate soufflé with the port pairing. There was a giant bottle that I was curious about. We learned that it was port and we tasted a little bit. Wow! I have never tested port like in Porto! Our waiters, Dione and Andre, were amazing! So kind, attentive and walked us through our dining experience. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Recommended by the concierge at our hotel, the food was amazing and the restaurant had a fantastic view on Porto. We had the ribeye special which was 1 1/4 kg of meat bone in. Three of us ate with two sides and were very satisfied. The flavor was outstanding and the meat was done to perfection. There are many wines to choose from and we were given aperitif drinks on the house. The service, though good, was a little non existent once our food was served. We bought a bottle of water and they took it away after filing our glasses even though the bottle wasn't empty. They didn't refill our glasses until after we were done with dinner.

Yelp
View is great, food ok not spectacular. Service was not good, slow and unfriendly. Not sure if I'll recommend this as there are many choices in town that are closer.

Yelp
First and foremost, the grounds here at Graham's Port Distillery, here in the Regadas section of Porto, Portugal, are stunning! Immaculate, groomed perfectly, and maintained to the highest degree, you couldn't ask for a more scenic lunch anywhere. Distilling some of the best Port in the world, it also has an incredible 5 Star restaurant called Vinum. This restaurant, in one word, is, "Excellent!" Their lunch menu reads like any luxuriant restaurant in the world. Here's the deal at Vinum; what your looking at on this complex menu, the chef de cuisine completely delivers. It's really quite impressive. Us four started with a lovely green salad that used this elaborate Portuguese olive oil that kicked these greens through the roof. I had Iberian Pork Ribs done Portuguese style, which believe me is a far cry from American BBQ. I would say they were similar to Tuscan ribs, but saying "similar" is a stretch. I will say unequivocally, they were delicious!!!!! Everyone else ordered separately and we all loved what we ordered, there was no sharing going on; which was fine with me. Im not sure if has a Michelin Star or a James Beard Award, but if it doesn't - somethings wrong here. It was just that good.

Yelp
PERFECT.... for big bus loads of tourists. Our experience at Vinum was disappointing in so many ways, food, service and atmosphere: FOOD: we really enjoyed the bread and fresh tomato salad. For our main we were persuaded to get the ribeye and after much discussion with the head waiter settled on medium/medium +. For the temperature. When the steak arrived, it was already sliced for service but was barely medium rare. "No problem, I will fix it" replied the head waiter. Instead of the proper way-take a new steak, cook IT to the CORRECT temperature, THEN slice and serve, they just threw the OLD under-done slices back on the grill so what we got back was well done and like shoe leather. Very poor approach in my opinion. SERVICE: at first we were swarmed with a team service approach-then a bus tour of 40 showed up and things changed dramatically with long waits for water and clearance of dishes. ATMOSPHERE: as this place was recommended for our special occasion, (celebrations of our anniversary) I was expecting something special. While they have a nice view out in the porch, the restaurant is more brightly lit than a McDonalds, totally lacking in any ambiance and has large cavernous rooms-more like a German beer hall. Not at all what I was expecting. But then, we came in an Uber, not a bus.... Well, anyway a memorableAnniversary for our last meal in the city of Porto, just not in a good waY

Yelp
I'd say this place is worth going to for the property and views alone, but the phenomenal food and service deserve just as much accolade. Seriously we have not been treated so well by staff before that there was a point when we wondered if they were mistaking us for celebrities or something! ...in reality I think they're just all very professional and wonderfully friendly people :) We dined at Vinum on a sunny Thursday evening after a tour and port tasting at Graham's. Before sitting down at our lovely table with stunning views, we spent a few minutes enjoying live music on their outdoor terrace. Fortunately we could still hear it well after being seated inside. Our waiters all had great recommendations and were very knowledgeable about the food and wine pairings. We had the cured sardines (not my favorite in general but my husband raved about them) and tuna tartare (memorable flavor and generous portion) to start. Our entrees were even more fabulous: a hearty filet of sea bass and squid ink risotto, both bursting with unique flavors and very delicately seasoned. As it had been a long day of port tasting, we -- okay, I -- opted for the steak tartare rather than traditional sweet option for dessert. Though they typically prepare this dish with capers, there seemed to be no attitude or judgment when I relayed that I preferred it without, and they came out with a sample to try before committing to the full order. They even added an egg yolk per my request and the full dish was perfect and very generously portioned. All in all, we spent a luxurious 3 hours here for dinner and couldn't have been happier with the decadent food, wine, views and service during our last -- and oh-so-delicious -- night in Porto.

Yelp
Would be 5 stars but took 1 star for price. Heavy Spanish fine dinning influence. We did traditional with wine pairing. 100e pp.. Great meal that showed Douro table wine versatility.

Yelp
If you want to enjoy Porto/Vila nova de Gaia at its fullest, in my opinion there's just one way to do it: Find a windy terrace with the perfect view over the Douro, sit back and relax for as long as possible. Fortunately for you, I have found the perfect place. The VINUM Restaurant & Wine Bar opened back in 2013 and is integrated with the historical graham's port lodge. A combination of two passionate and extremely portuguese group, the Symington Family and the Sagardi hospitality group, this was meant for success. Up the hill in Vila Nova Gaia, the restaurant has the perfect view over the Douro which you can enjoy from the pergola covered terrace or the closed Atrium. What you can expect: - A design impregnated with the graham's essence including a clever glass wall revealing rows of Pipes, granite elements and house's memorabilia. There's a soft, modern touch to the decor. - Local, fresh Portuguese ingredients and the best traditions of Douro, Trás-os-Montes, Minho and Atlantic. As fresh as it can get, cooked and prepared to keep the ingredient's purity and traditional aspect but always with a gastronomic touch and upmost quality. You must try the Algarve gigantic Oysters, the Tuna from the Azores marinated with soy and sesame sauce, Iberian ham croquettes, their ceviche with the best fish from Matosinhos Market and the Alheira de Mirandela smoky sausages; or anything really, everything's so good. - The wine list does put forward the Symington group wines & port, obviously. However, there's an amazing diversity of Portuguese wines from the douro as well as other Portuguese winemaking region. I've noticed the great wines of Anselmo Mendes in Vinho Verde and tried the very special Quinta de Vesuvio, 2015. Seriously, what was supposed to be a quick lunch ended in a whole afternoon of treats. I could've have spent the whole day just chatting with the incredibly fun and lovable staff. The idea and desire of cancelling our next appointment to stay longer was growing stronger as time passed by.

Yelp
Note that I had a port tasting here but did not dine. Vinum is reservations-only restaurant on Graham's winery property, and it is handsome, high-end, and huge. Outside the restaurant is a wide stone patio with views of the river and the town of Porto on the other side. The port tasting was generous and delicious. I ordered some sardines, not the kind salty, oily kind, that surprisingly complimented the wines. And I enjoyed the view. Vinum is a 20-minute hike from the other port cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia. I'd suggest taking the gondola ("Teleferico") from the bridge, for a spectacular aerial view, to the end and hopping into a taxi.

Yelp
An absolutely THE BEST experience I've ever had in my life. Hands down. Just a gorgeous restaurant looking at Douro River in Porto. Food is spectacular. Service is beyond expectations. Wine list is phenomenal. But the view is priceless. Restaurant is owned by Graham's Porto. Outdoor seating is bloody amazing !! Opting to seat outside is highly recommended. Matter a fact, I insist. Weather permitting, of course. Where you can really take in the true beauty of the town of Porto. It is beautiful!! If you're thinking about a trip to Portugal, do Porto instead. Everyone goes to Lisbon. Why not Porto? Make sure to check out this world class restaurant on top of a hill!! You'll be glad you did! Trust me. Truly an amazing experience! Now that I think about it, I should've just bloody overstayed my visit. I don't think anyone would've noticed. ;-)

Yelp
Serendipity. This place was never on my radar. It was recommended by the concierge at my hotel as part of a tour of a wine producer (in this case, Graham's). The ambiance is outstanding; a charming greenhouse style restaurant on a vineyard terrace overlooking the Douro river valley and the historic city of Porto. The service made me feel like royalty. We chose to do a wine paired meal featuring prime rib of ox (The same ox the vineyard used to produce it's outstanding wine and port). The quality of all four courses were impeccable from beginning to end. Afterwards, since I could barely move, I went to the winery's "library" where I was able to do a sampling of their various types of port. It could not have been a more idyllic meal, and will be remembered as one of my best dining experiences ever.

Yelp
Wow. Incredible tour of winery. Then you get to the long blonde hair hostess that thinks she is of royalty. Extremely rude and snobbish. How sad for Graham's that this is the face of their restaurant.

Yelp
After a private tour of the Graham's cellar (very interesting) we sought to satiate our hunger at Vinum and were pleased with every aspect of the visit. One should not miss the opportunity to sample the Iberian ham fed only acorns as the truly "melt in the mouth" experience and incredible flavor are too rare in this world. My wife had the daily fish, hake we believe, over fresh morels, the gravy of which was perfect for bread sopping. For my selection I had the grilled octopus. It was my third time this week (too hard to find at home, and rarely good) and the best of the bunch. The main waiter selected wonderful pairings of Portuguese wine for all courses and plates and even gave us a pour or two more than we requested and paid for. Being American it pained me not to tip him, because he surely deserved it. I hope I didn't flub it up here. Of great interest is, of course, the Ports available here. We selected a 1983 Colheita to go with our dessert and were thrilled at the excellent presentation during decanting and service. We do not decant an entire bottle at home because we don't want to drink the whole thing, but apparently they sell so much that it is not a problem. I wished that someone near me had ordered a 10, 20 or 30 year tawny as they serve them from a Jeroboam (a bottle the size of 4 regular bottles) which I have never seen, and they also have the option of a taste of a vintage tawny from the late 1880s. Truly impressive!

Yelp
Simply the most beautiful winery-restaurant in Porto. It was a bit for from the city center but it was worth the 20 min it took us in the cab. The entrance is very pretty, with vine-covered patio. We sat with a window and enjoyed the views of the river. The food was delicious and the wine pairings were great. After the lunch, we also did their wine tour. Such a fun way to spend the afternoon.

Yelp
Food here was hit and miss. We were here for dinner. Appetizers were good but the mains : sea bass and cod were sadly disappointing. We had better meals elsewhere that were cheaper. Service was also disappointing. We experienced better service at smaller restaurants. View is nice so suggestion is to come here for drinks and a small bite during the day time. Skip dinner.

Yelp
Vinum restaurant it was excellent, my tuna was of the highest quality with wines to match, and with the best food of Porto. All the staff at this restaurant as expected in a restaurant of this quality was excellent.

Martina K.

Yelp
Horrible service. Our food got cold while we waited for our server to come take our drink order.
