I met Vio the owner this morning, she was very welcoming from the get-go. I was looking for gluten-free and vegan options for the staffs at our office and she was super helpful and telling me which ones were going to be my best options and which ones my staff would like the most. After bringing the pastries to the office, our staff loved it and couldn’t believe that some of them were gluten-free and vegan. Super excited to have a pastry shop like this in town. We’ve been there a handful of times and experience has been phenomenal every time. Thanks VIO!!!

Google
Well let me tell you AMAZING. I have tried every place in Vacaville and Fairfield only to come here last. That should have never happened. The donut selection is very small BUT no matter because what they have is to die for. Flavors were amazing and leaving you to desire more. All the donuts are cake and not yeast (I'm a yeast guy, but these changed me) . Even their coffee was great in comparison to all the other surrounding places. Vio, you just earned yourself a customer for life. Best place in town.

We discovered these donuts at the outer Sunset farmers market and love them so much! We get them anytime we go to the market (and are part of a long line of people who want them). We even love them so much that we got them as our wedding dessert for our elopement. All the flavors are incredible -- including the vegan ones. And the owner is the sweetest.

Ambiance: This pastry shop is located in downtown Vacaville. They have donuts, cakes, churros, cookies, and coffee. If you’re ever in the mood for pastry and coffee while in downtown Vacaville this is a cute spot for to stop, chat and have coffee and snacks. Food: The donuts are like old fashioned donut with a new twist. I really like the brown sea salt Caramel and my niece loved her chocolate donut with sprinkles. She also Loved the chocolate milk. According to her it tasted creamy :). That chocolate chip cookie is 100% recommended: it soft and chewy and chocolaty. Service: there was only one guy in their, My bad for not catching his name. He was so nice and polite. He welcomed us in with a greeting and a smile. The place has a few tables with cute succulents in a tiny tea like cup. I love all the flower decor.

I can’t believe that this place has been here for a year and I haven’t heard of it. It’s in a great location in old down town Vacaville. Walking in, the first thing I noticed is it is clean, bright and welcoming. Second, not only the shop but the employees are also very welcoming and so nice. They both were smiling the whole time I was there. Now for the goods. I wanted to try everything. Not able to decide I asked,”what will make you famous?” “The Chubby Churro Pistachio Almond Frangipane!” It is a donut/churro/cake bakery item that is moist and cakey on the inside and a little crisp on the outside. It wasn’t too sweet and had a very subtle pistachio flavor. My mouth is watering just writing about it. I also tried the Snickerdoodle cookie. Again a great flavor that didn’t taste overly sweet. I really enjoyed both items. However, I did see a pineapple upside down cake that I WILL be going back for. I totally recommend this place for your sweets needs.

If you live in the area and want vegan donuts, this is definitely the place to go! All their flavors are amazing. They also have little vegan cakes that are crazy good. I'm sure their regular donuts are great too.

Google
Cute pastry place in downtown Vacaville! Try their chubby churros! My favorite item was the pineapple upside-down cake!

Google
First time here unfortunately. Not sure how this place got fake "high ratings". 🤔 Nothing "handcrafted" about this place so don't be fooled. Donuts were overpriced, dry and not good had to toss into the trash after one bite. I definitely know the difference what a real good old fashioned bakery style donut taste like and this is not it. Should have gone to Pure Grain Bakery nearby for a better choice and selection. Will never be back again! 😒👎

Yelp
My cousin and nephew told me about them from a farmers market and I had to come find them after I tried their donuts. They didn't not disappoint!! Soft, sweet and delicious! Their staff is amazing too. There's also small hand sizes cakes that are vegan and gluten free. Many of their menu options vegan friendly and gluten friendly as well.

Yelp
Yummmm. My favorite donut has always been maple, so when I saw he had donuts, I went straight for the maple. The owner was very friendly and told me he's located in Vacaville and ecommended I try his brown butter sea salt donut. I'm always down to try new things, so I thought, "Ok, I'll give it a try," even though I was sure I'd only like the maple. Well, I ended up loving the brown butter sea salt! I'm not sure if it was the contrast between the sweet brown butter and the little bits of sea salt, but my new favorite donut is definitely the brown butter sea salt. I still love a maple donut, but the brown butter sea salt is the one for me. My husband got the cutest little chocolate chip cake and loved it. He's a chocolate chip lover, so anything with chocolate chips, he's grabbing it! So glad we were able to try these at the local Vallejo Farmers Market, and I can't wait to check out more recommendations from the owner. By the way, the donuts are soft and chewy, which I really loved!

Yelp
I love their jalapeño garlic cheese milkbread that I get my lazy ass out of bed earlier just for some but I usually get there in the late morning but I digress. It's so so yummy my tummy would write heart emojis for it. The decor is cute inside and the people are nice. I'm happy to support them.

Yelp
I am so glad this pastry shop is in Vacaville! The quality of their pastries is 10/10. I highly recommend trying this place out. Everything pictured in the review is vegan. This is a rare find for the Vacaville area as many cafes do not have vegan options, or a very limited selection of vegan options available. There are non vegan options at Vio as well I believe. Everything is so good it's hard to decide what my favorite donut is! So far the Mexican Hot Chocolate donut and the Blueberry muffin are my tops. I am looking forward to trying the new Oreo Cookie donut My boyfriend says the staff is always very friendly and the cafe is very nice. There are tables also to eat in cafe if you choose. We always pick up enough pastries on Saturday for Sunday because they are closed on Sunday. The pastries are just as yummy the next day though! I have reviewed this cafe before but they definitely deserve a second review for their continued excellence.

Yelp
Finally a break from the rain, after a week straight of gray skies and pouring rain. It's a short break, I welcomed with a short walk around downtown taking in some sun. I stopped by Vio to enjoy a donut and a warm drink. I was warmly greeted when I came in the door. There was only one customer at the counter. It bought me a couple minutes to decide on what donut to order. When it was my turn to order, I decided on a small (12 ounces) oat chai latte, and a double chocolate ganache donut. Double chocolate ganache donut- It was pretty good. Chocolate on top, chocolate & ganache filling , salted caramel drizzle on top. It was a lot of chocolate (Crazy to say as a chocolate lover!). This would have tasted much better warmed up. Note to self: either order this first thing when the store opens or ask to have it warmed up next time. It's a yummy concept, I wouldn't recommend eating at room temp or cold. Chai latte w/ oat milk- I requested to add oat milk, I believe for sixty cents more. This is my second time drinking the chai latte and I still am in love with it. It was such a nice kick of chai flavor. It's not at subtle, which I love so much. I was asked if I had or wanted a loyalty card. I didn't have one and accepted one To my surprise, the employee give me 2 stamps instead of 1...I love this loyalty program already!!! LOL. It appears you earn a stamp per item purchased, not by the number of visits. Making it that much faster to earn that free cake donut after 10 stamps! Sweet!!! I enjoyed my goodies inside. I sat at a table right by the window to enjoy soaking in some sun. The woman that had taken my order brought my oat chai latte to me at the table. :) I love the cute decor and makes it selfie worthy with your treats! Thanks for the great service and sweet treats! I shall return with my loyalty card in hand! :)

Yelp
The best pastries in the whole wide world literally tastes like your own mama Mia a hand crafted them just for you with Love. Service is amazing ambience of sweet and quaint. Definitely worth a visit or 100.

Yelp
The staff is so friendly here. I came by for the Ube pastry. The filling is an Ube cream cheese filling, which I liked but I wasn't too fond of the donut itself. The dough tasted like bread instead of an actual donut. Besides from that, I did enjoy the filling.

Yelp
My friend told me about Vio Pastries months ago but the hours are a little limited to the morning. She raved about the maple bacon donut. Months later and I finally had a free Sunday morning to come check it out! Located in DT Vacaville. Very easy free street parking. Oh the decor and ambiance are so cute! It's very dreamy. Instagram-worthy. I could say the theme is love. Flowers everywhere. Romantic songs (Taylor Swift's Lover and Elvis Presley etc). I didn't think such a cute cafe type place could be in Vacaville. For the donuts we ordered ube, pistachio, dulce de leche, and a berry one. Some were filled. Others were not. They also had plenty of vegan options. For drinks I got the passion iced tea. I really enjoyed the passion fruit iced tea. It had bits of seeds in it. You could tell it was homemade and not poured from a grocery store box. Very refreshing and not overly sweet. For the donuts some were a tad too sweet for my partner's liking. Two donuts per person was a bit much. I could only finish about 1.5 in a sitting. The only thing that would make it better were if I was luckily enough to have gotten the donuts fresh out of the oven so they were still warm. Very good chance I'll come another day with my friend and hopefully I can try the maple bacon donut she loves.

Yelp
Tip: 10% military discount. There's also water inside. Overall, there was a sort of Stale texture to the donuts where the exterior was not as crispy and fresh-tasting as I would want. I wish I liked this more! - Dulce de leche: I wish it was a little bit sweeter but my friends seem to enjoy it the most. - Ube: the filling was more sugary than I expected, more like an icing. I did appreciate this more than the others though. - Pistachio/almond creme: somehow the taste is a bit more muted than I expected as well.

Yelp
This churro caramel donut was very good. The shop is beautifully decorated and cute. Quick service.

Yelp
Whoever gave this place a good review- yall are straight liars. yall don't know what good food is lol Come here if you like dense, hard and stale donuts and pastries that clearly taste like they were baked at least 4+ days ago. I bought these at the Burlingame farmers market and they don't taste fresh at all. A damn shame I wasted my money here.

Yelp
Since I was in the area, I decided to knock out this local bakery that specified churro donuts with ube filling. It is located in the city of Vacaville. Walked in and friendly staff greeted upon entering in. I'd like two lattes with oak milk and a ube churro and dulce de leche one, please. Out come? Not your average type of churro but was really good. Dough and whatever you use to make a churro went well together. The filling is not super sweet but perfect.

Yelp
The bright storefront and signage: Vio Handcrafted Pastries and Chubby Churros caught our attention as my cousin and I were perusing Downtown Vacaville...it was a total squirrel moment and quickly jaywalked across the street...place was super inviting, cute with plenty of seating to enjoy your dessert and a beverage of various hot and iced teas/coffees. As soon as you walk in you can smell the comforting scent of wonderful baked goods.... I honed in on the cookies but then saw the various cake donuts, and "churro donuts"....their display of goodies definitely makes you want to try everything! For this visit I had to try a cookie and a chubby churro. :: Salted caramel with pretzel cookie - this cookie was DELICIOUS! Soft, chewy cookie, with bites of caramel with crunch from the pretzel - I'd travel an hour for this! Love the texture and flavor! Chubby Churro Donuts - unlike traditional donuts and churros these donuts are baked and not fried. Then topped with various flavored glazes, toppings and some filled. If you like a cruller then you'll like these...crispy on the outside yet airy...of course, if it's been sitting and cools it loses that airiness and gets a little dense :: Maple bacon - nice flavor with a nice, crisp bacon...for me the texture of the churro donut was heavy but soft..not bad just not what I was expecting :: Pistachio and almond creme churro - flavorful with sliced almonds and dusted with pistachio - if you like frangipane you'll love this! Unfortunately, I'm not a big fan of crullers in general but cousin really enjoyed...the thought of the churro donut sounded exciting, but for me didn't care for the texture...this coming from a person who doesn't like mochi! This place is 7 months new and definitely warrants another visit with their creative baked goods, wonderful customer service and inviting interior that you want to stay awhile. Cousin and I were chatting it up and didn't notice that we had stayed 30 mins after closing. Oops! We apologized to the owner who was cleaning and closing up and thanked her for not kicking us out. Lol She was so gracious and kind and we were on our way...wish I had bought more cookies for the road :)

Yelp
I have been following this place on Instagram for a while since I love donuts and these looked so yummy and creative. I finally tried it today at the farmers market next to AP Giannini. I ordered the pistachio, the cheesecake fruit, the ube taro, the blueberry, and garlic cheese milk bread. The flavors were really good for all of them. I thought the ube taro's cream was a little too sweet for me. I also preferred the cake donut vs the churro donut. The cake donut had a good texture and the glaze was both tart and sweet which gave it a great balance. I would come back to try more of the cake donuts! I'm coming for that strawberry one for sure. The garlic cheese milk bread was savory and had a garlicky cream cheese filling. I thought it was pretty good but I would prefer to get the donuts instead! I would like to say, the owner is so incredibly nice and welcoming. If I could have half her energy for the mornings, I would never need coffee again. She even gave my boyfriend's mom a free citrus olive oil cake. She made me feel like a regular even though it was my first time there! Thank you Vio for being you!

E P.

Yelp
The pastries are good. However, they are pretty pricey. The coffee drink was way too sweet & too small. (We forgot we had a similar too sweet & too small experience a year ago.) We tried going to Burger King to buy a black coffee to mix their coffee with, but Burger King doesn't sell coffee except I'm the morning. Uggg. So we tossed their coffee in the trash. Small coffee & 1 donut = $11.62. Not coming back.

Yelp
Stumbled on this pastries shop as I walk down Vacaville. I got the birthday doughnut and at first I was not sure how I felt about the taste but the next day it satisfied my craving! I enjoy a good old fashion doughnut. Can't wait to try more!

Yelp
Cities evolve as time goes by. How refreshing it is to have a bakery with such unique sweets to Vacaville. Aesthetically it is instagram perfect picture with eye appealing modern clean cafe vibes. There is detail in everything including the dainty succulents on each table. I was welcomed by the friendly owner who was super patient in helping me deciding what to try. In the end I had the following Strawberry Cake Doughnut- Their cake doughnuts are not as hefty. In other words you can definitely sample more than one flavor! This flavor was my absolute flavor out of the bunch. A well balanced doughnut! Brown Butter Sea Salt Cake Dougnut- This was my husband's favorite! A pleaser for who love that sweet and salty combination. Might I add the consistency of their frosting isn't as overwhelming either! Dulce De Leche Chubby Churro- Despite their size the chubby churros are even lighter than the cake doughnuts. As with every opinion is preference. These actually do taste like churros without being ridiculously sweet. I do find that the prices are fair. Considering these are flavors and types of doughnuts you can't find elsewhere in Vacaville. Vio's handcrafted pastries reminds me of a bakery you would find in the Bay Area. As someone who use to commute I do miss the food of the Bay Area. Now I don't have to travel far to enjoy such treats!

Yelp
Donuts are great here! My favorites are the -coconut pandan -chubby churro filled with custard -brown butter sea salt It was buy half a dozen get one free. Definitely worth getting a variety and sharing.
google avatar

Angelina Z.

Yelp
I love their unique pastry selection! I got the ube churro, which I think was more similar to a cronut. Everything was perfect--the filling was generous, and every bite had a bit of ube to it. It wasn't too sweet, and I could actually taste a bit of the root. The donut was quite cakey, and it wasn't overly oily. It's quite a heavy dessert, but definitely worth a try!

Yelp
I came across Vio by accident when I was looking up breakfast spots in Vacaville. I love a good donut shop especially with unique flavors, and I'm always interested in trying anything signature - and this place has "chubby churros." Such a cute name and who can resist a chance to have a churro in the morning? The shop is located in downtown Vacaville and very cute and colorful inside. There is actually a ton of seating inside too, more than your typical donut shop so we were able to enjoy our treats right away (and they had a high chair for our little guy!). The employees were very friendly and super helpful explaining their filled donuts when I told them it was our first time there. All the flavors looked amazing but we narrowed it down to two items - one cake donut in ube flavor, and one chubby churro in dulce de leche flavor. I think my only complaint here is the price is pretty steep for one donut - $4. I know they're specialty but I would've priced the cake donuts at $3 something and then the chubby churros and filled donuts would be $4. I'm not sure if the prices go lower if you bought them by the dozen but that would help too. But it's hard to say since I'm sure ingredient prices are likely rising at this time so maybe that's the new normal price. I'm not a huge cake donut fan so naturally by default I enjoyed the chubby churro more. But with that said, the cake donuts here were not as dense as the ones you'd find at a regular donut shop. They were still pretty soft and moist with the consistency of cake. The ube flavor was great too. I wish we were able to try more chubby churro flavors - they were so light and airy! Next time I am definitely getting more flavors to-go! If you're not a donut or churro fan (wait why are you here?), you're in luck, you can still try their other goodies like mini cakes and cookies, and they have coffees & teas as well. Great little spot to get a bite for breakfast or something for dessert and walk around the shops outside!

Yelp
I finally got to check out this place located in Downtown Vacaville, it's Ambiance is super cute floral decor, service was excellent provided by the owner herself - Vio! She is so friendly and nice -I tried a variety of her delicious handcrafted pastries. I really enjoyed talking with her and getting to know her. Please go check it out as I highly recommend it!

Yelp
I came here with my wife on our way to SF. She got in on this event I believe north bay or Davis / Dixon market. I order small coffee and I had the handcrafted chocolate with those drizzle on top of the donut. Like all donuts it was sweet. Too sweet for me a little bit but it was good. Come to think of it, I don't eat much sweet stuff such as candies , chocolate bars and donuts. The coffee was just right and warm enough for a cold rainy day. The staff was nice and gave quality service. This place is location at the historical area of Vacaville.

Yelp
I've been coming to Vio for a while now. As far as I know they are the only place around with vegan donuts and pastries. The Mexican hot chocolate donut is fire! But I also love the raspberry or strawberry ones when they have them. There is always a rotation of flavors and the icing is natural not that artificially flavored junk. They have an automatic espresso brewer, and have a variety of milks to choose from for lattes and such. I love the way this little shop looks inside. It is brightly lit and the decorations are adorable. There's usually at least a couple people sitting down and enjoying the food and drink. I have to add that the ladies who work here are just lovely. They always have a smile on their faces and strike up conversations. The prices are fair, and honestly they could charge a little more if they wanted. Get a stamp card because you will be coming back!
google avatar

Yelp
What a find! I absolutely love this place. If you're looking for pastries, that are a little bit different and overwhelmingly delicious, this is the spot! They don't have plain, boring donuts, and croissants. All of their stuff is a work of art. And it is as delicious as it looks! We tried a few of the chubby churros. Highly recommend! They also have great coffee and ice tea. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Cute donut shop in lovely downtown Vacaville. Delicious options to choose from, so many unique flavors were available when I came in. I decided to try their pistachio and salted brown butter donut. Both were super yummy! The salted brown butter donut was more of an old fashioned donut but I loved how crispy it was but still soft inside. Definitely tasted fresh! And the pistachio stuffed donut reminded me more of a almond croissant but instead with pistachio filling. It was very yummy as well! I definitely plan on coming back to try other flavors. Highly recommend this cute shop!
google avatar

Ashley M.

Yelp
This place is really cute! The girl working there was really nice and helped me pick a few items. Everything was fresh and delicious. I got the chai and it was a little too milky for me, I like a spicy chai. But overall this is a cute little addition to downtown Vacaville. I really liked it!
google avatar

Melissa T.

Yelp
Finally visited this place and I love it! It's super cute The chubby churros are the perfect amount of cake and sweetness. Also, their iced chai latte was the best I've ever had
google avatar

Rachel G.

Yelp
I was excited to try these unique creations after reading reviews. The brown butter cake donut was by far the best thing we tried! Wow! So good. The chocolate filled churro donut was just ok. I wouldn't get it again, but the other items were tasty!! We liked the salted caramel pretzel cookie. It's big - definitely shareable. The inside is super cute and the staff was friendly. I will be back and hope this place becomes a downtown staple!

Yelp
This is the kind of bakery that you know is going to have personality even before you step in. The flowery fairy lights theme is adorable welcoming. The girl at the front when we visited, Amy, was super sweet and was really fun to chat with. And then we got to the pastries, which were just incredible. We ordered the chocolate chunk cookie (a classic that did right by its reputation) and three chubby churros, each of which were unique and delicious. I would have a really hard time choosing a favorite. The almond pistachio frangipane chubby churro was the perfect balance of subtly sweet and nutty, with a wonderfully soft texture. The chocolate salted caramel was absolutely decadent, with a hint of espresso in rich, creamy chocolate filling. And the Ube taro chubby churro was a gooey, sweet bite of happiness with pretty colors to boot. I highly recommend you visit Vio if you are every in the Downtown Vacaville area, it epitomizes the magic of a well-run small business.

Yelp
I have not tried something here I do not like! Most recently at downtown ladies night I tried to He milk Brad made of cream cheese, jalapeño, and garlic flavor. This pastry was to die for. I definitely recommend giving this cute place Little spot a try. The service was great the workers were friendly. Perfect for breakfast. Or donuts with coffee dink.

Gwendolyn M.

Yelp
As a vegan I constantly crave sweets but my opinion are obviously limited. Anyways I found this cute little place in down town Vacaville. They have a small selection for vegans. I got their donut holes and the Mexican hot chocolate donut. The Chocolate donut was awesome and spicy. The donut holes were fantastic, I and my picky eater kids loved them! Thank you!

Gemma M.

Yelp
Loved their chubby churro donuts. Their vegan options are amazing! So sad they don't make them anymore.
google avatar

Johanna B.

Yelp
Had no idea this was here. Saw it as we were walking to the farmers market. Admittedly, I wanted a Mexican Hot Chocolate donut, but I was scared because it was vegan. I was assured it was good. OMG! I'm so glad I trusted the advice. Seriously yummy. I don't know what makes it vegan, but I am a fan. We would happily try more vegan items here and I will definitely come back and try more. Also, I just saw the vegan donut ingredients and included a photo.

Yelp
Vio had the goods! Go to Vio if you like delicious Chubby Churros (caramel, choco, and pistachio flavors - nom, nom!) are ya jam! Go to Vio if you like good service and taste the quality in every bite! I thoroughly enjoyed it and so did my tweener - specifically for those delicious Chubby Churros, aka the name of my next dog! Enjoy and try the savory goodness of the empanadas too!

Yelp
Came here with my son on another bakery adventure. It was pretty empty by the time we got there. It must have been around noon time. We got a few different pastries. We got the ube filled churro donut, the brown butter donut, the mango or maybe it was passion fruit donut, the chocolate chunk cookie and the pistachio churros donut. I also got the iced tea passion fruit. The pistachio creme was good , but I felt like too much creme to churro ratio. I tried a bite of the ube filled churro donut and it was just okay. The churro itself was crisp but if not eaten right away it got tough. At the bakery the donuts for the brown butter and what I can't remember if the flavor was mango or passion fruit. The sign said they were cake donuts, but I felt these were more like old fashion style donuts. Which I am not a fan of. However my one bite of the brown butter donut was okay. I did not eat the rest. A side tidbit about the other donut was that the icing/glazing melted while in the box. It was not hot in the car so I do not know how it happened in less than 5 mins. Unless it was like that as I bought it. The cookie was probably the best out of the whole lot. I love the giant chocolate square that gets baked on top. Very good cookie. The passion fruit drink was good too. Very cute and open space. The restroom was also very clean as well. Located in I think is a downtown area. A lot businesses in the area, but the directions from google had us park in a weird area past the business. But was a walkable parking area. Pricing was standard for any bakery place. If in the area again I would not mind going back.

Yelp
The 2 young ladies that were working this morning were very sweet and welcoming. Greeted me with a smile and polite. Now....the sweets and treats are the best in town without a doubt. A little pricier than other places but you can taste the quality and homemade goodness in every bite

Yelp
This was my first time coming in and I was helped by Mat and he was absolutely precious and upbeat. Made my day just by talking with him, excellent customer service. I got the peach and blueberry vegan something sorry I can't remember SO GOOD!

Very cute shop! I was so excited to visit a pastry shop with so many vegan options that I brought my daughter along for the ride. The service was friendly and welcoming. I tried a coconut lime and a strawberry vegan doughnut as well as a savory pastry filled with soy protein. The doughnut was sweet and fresh and wasn't greasy or heavy like regular doughnuts. The pastry was tasty and satisfying. Oh yes! I almost forgot that I washed everything down with an oat-milk chai which was perfectly spicy and sweet. Yummy time. Definitely going back for more.

Yelp
Excuse me while I swoon over these pastries to EVERYONE I know. That should tell you enough. Pistachio almond : 9/10. Reminded me of an authentic almond croissant. This one was probably my favorite of the ones I tried. Density in the pasture itself, with a creamy almond filling and pistachio topping. Believe me when I tell you I SAVORED this one. Lemon: 8/10. This one was recommended to me. I LOVE lemon pastries and this one did NOT disappoint. Again, very DENSE. To not expect a Krispy Kream donut from here. It's WAY better. They're all like cake donuts. The lemon flavor was ON POINT and the lemon frosty had just the right amount of sweet and tart! I loved the tartness of it! Dulce de leche: 6/10. The only reason it's a 6 is because I am not a huge fan of caramel. I got this one for someone else, but they let me snag a bite! Again, perfect density, yet not dry at all! The perfect amount of caramel and sugar on top! Fruit cheesecake: 6/10. Ok, so I was expecting this one to be my favorite! It was not. Not that it wasn't bad, but the lemon and pistachio were just SO impressive, this one didn't stand out. Although it had cream cheese in it, it was probably the driest of the bunch. Maybe would have liked more fruit or the cream cheese to be more cream cheesy! It tasted very plain. But still YUMMY. Chocolate chunk cookie: 8/10. Soft, chocolaty, delicious. Finished it up a few days later and it was STILL soft. I also got an americano! Nothing special, but drinkable! Highly recommend Vio!

Yelp
Absolutely heavenly environment with an awesome staff and to top it off delicious pastries. If I could give them 10 stars I would. I definitely recommend the "chubby churro" pistachio almond frangipane and this absolutely tasty jalapeño-cream cheese. Our drinks the Americano and Cappuccino went great with our pastries. Looking forward to our next visit to taste some more of these heavenly pastries.

Yelp
Wow! What a little gem downtown! I went this morning and she was so nice! She took the time to tell me about each! The donut was soft and not too dense. I tried three items. The chubby churro with bacon was sweet AND salty. So delicious. The passion fruit vegan donut (her recommendation) was just the right texture and had such a delicious glaze. The jalapeño milk bread was fresh and soft. For sure try this place out. Won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Vio bby comes to the SF Sunset Farmers Market every Sunday. I never really got the hype, or why anyone would stand in line for a donut. But I started ordering them whenever I saw no line. I found them cake-y, kind of dense. Good but not great. But grrrrrrl. Let me tell you about this thing called the MICROWAVE. Holy mother of god, microwave these things for 20-30 seconds, so the frosting becomes a little bit *melty*, and these become the best sweet pastries to ever pass my lips. Goddamn. I understand the hype now. I also, truly appreciate, that Vio has unique flavours like passion fruit, and seasonal flavours like pumpkin. She's a one-man show, you really need to appreciate all she has to offer! And today- garlic cheese milk bread. omg. Not a one-trick pony at ALL. Snacking on these things at 9PM at night and they're godly. I wish I got more than one. I might even make the trek up to Stockton to try these fresh and in-person. I'm impressed!
