We had a wonderful dining experience at Violet Oon @ ION Orchard, celebrating our daughter’s birthday, and it was truly a memorable treat for the whole family.
Every dish we ordered impressed us. The chicken satay was juicy and flavourful, perfectly grilled and incredibly satisfying. The Ayam Buah Keluak, a classic Nonya dish, stood out with its bold, spicy, and tangy flavours—rich, authentic, and comforting. The beef rendang was beautifully done: soft, tender, and deeply rich with spices. We also enjoyed the garam assam fish, which had a delightful balance of spicy and sour notes, making it very appetising. The sambal eggplant was delicious and well-seasoned, while the kueh pie tee was wonderfully crunchy and generously packed with flavour, a great start to the meal.
What made the evening even more special was the exceptional service by the Manager, Christian. He was attentive, warm, and genuinely caring, ensuring we were well taken care of throughout the meal. His professionalism and friendly approach made us feel welcomed and added a personal touch to our celebration.
Overall, Violet Oon delivered excellent food and outstanding service. It was the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion, and we left with happy hearts, full stomachs, and wonderful memories. Highly recommended.
