This was my first time going! Many produce farmers setup here! There are beautiful gifts available from soaps to candles. The fresh food is the star in spring and summer! There is an established butcher run by a family, a creamery of handmade local ice cream! There is an established year round bakery, run by family. Everyday but Sunday There is a old tyme restaurant next door, so you can make a day of it.

Cute farmer's market! Parking in the center and shops surrounding. Creamery, bakery, and butcher shop with multiple farm stands that carry a variety of fresh produce, eggs, and honey plus other artisan vendors. Loved it! Great spot for supporting local businesses and get all your grocery shopping in one spot!

This was my first time coming in this place and at first I was a little lost on what I was expecting versus what I was seeing but it didn't take too long to get what I had came here to hopefully find. They have wonderful services as well as customer service and you also are usually given options as far as free parking and them helping you find what it is you had hoped to purchase. Everything is fresh/freshly prepared/cooked same day or made fresh to order.. I appreciated the overall experience of being able to get good help so I didn't have to take or wait long at all in order to search for and then purchase the goods that I was hoping for. They made it so easy. I had a good experience overall, so I know that I will be definitely become a repeat customer.

Google
Regardless of the farm you buy from , check the produce thoroughly before purchase. The creamery is priced beautifully with a wonderful selection. The butcher is over priced; I would think he would be a slight bit less expensive than the grocery store...I was very very wrong. The bakery has really yummy options and is decently priced as well!! Overall a good trip!

Google
Love the Butcher Shop. We bought the family package for two. Great value. We may customize it a bit next time but this is definitely the way to go. Produce is fresh and it is a friendly community.

Monica Pettigrew

Google
Excellent options, friendly vendors and overall pleasant atmosphere. Decided we will shop here first before grocery stores moving forward.

Google
Huge Farmers Market. . Make sure you have a couple of hours free to browse at your own pace. Produce is top-notch, and there are lots of local goods ranging from sauces to artisan goods.

Austin Moore

Google
The Bakery has delicious and fresh bread. (Not sliced but worth it) Cornbread is delicious. They also have 3 freezers full of homemade frozen dinners and a huge variety of homemade soups. They also have a bunch of homemade desserts. The Butcher will help you in any way possible and had a huge selection of meats, sauces, and seasonings. There's also a Creamery on site that sells milk, ice cream, and cheese. If you buy the milk you can take your jug back for a discount on the next 1. So the 1st jug will be the most expensive, then will drop down significantly after that. There are also multiple produce stands with products from eggs, honey, jams and jelly, to corn, sweet potatoes, green beans, and fruit. Etc... Everybody here is friendly and all the food is delicious. With all these recalls in the big box stores I've been doing all of my purchasing here and 100% recommend it.

Yelp
I enjoy coming to this farmers market for my produce, plants, and when I have a sweet tooth. They have different vendors there on the weekend. There's a seafood market, a butcher shop, a dessert shop, ice cream shop, and a restaurant. The prices are pretty reasonable and the people who work there are pretty friendly. There's plenty of parking. They have carnivals, food trucks, and different events. Check their FB page or website for dates of special events. It's a fun place to go and kill time when you just need something to do. I enjoyed my visit!! Check them out!!

Yelp
So happy to have found a great farmer's market since moving here. Produce is really good. I love the indoor/outdoor vibes. It seems like they have different events throughout the year, and I appreciate the extensive hours that most of the businesses are open!

Yelp
Love the VB Farmers Market, this place needs some love from our locals. Talking to the owners of these shops sounds like it's a battle with the increasing cost by city and state. I would hate to see this VB landmark be shut down.

Yelp
Love this place!!! It has a lot to offer in the way of fresh produce and seafood!! Last time my brother and I arrived for the Dungeness crabs, we looked at the line and said forget it! So when we heard about the Live Maine lobsters 5 for $95, we went an hour earlier and so glad that we did!!! I got in line with my cooler and after a 45 minute to an hour wait, I scored 15 fresh live Maine lobsters !!! The main point is to get there way ahead of time!!! Lesson learned!!!

Yelp
Love this place. They have a variety of stores that have offerings: general store, creamery,fruit/veggie stands, butcher shop, bakery, etc. Everyone is friendly, helpful...ands to the vibrant, relaxed setting where you can take your time to look for unique gift items, enjoy baked treats and ice cream and on and on.

Yelp
Had a nice outing with my daughters and two of my grandbabies. It was a beautiful day to walk to the Farmers Market and pick up some treats. We visited the gardens and got some great ideas to create my own raised garden and the grandbabies enjoyed playing with the chickens. Can't wait for all the vendors/farmers to be back in full swing. I picked up some local honey, handmade soaps and of course couldn't leave without some Sweet Potato monkey bread. All treats and all worth the walk.

Yelp
Always a good time at the Farmers' Market and the Apple Festival is no exception. Plenty of vendors along with all of the everyday venders and shops. Beautiful weather to boot!

Yelp
Want to support small and local businesses?? Then this is the place to go! Fresh fruits and veggies available. Local/raw honey, small vendors here and there! Cute boutiques and plenty more! Plenty of parking available! Plenty of space for the kids to roam free! Kid friendly! Follow them on social media to see their upcoming events!!!

Yelp
I love this place! My friend introduced this Farmers Market to me not too long ago and I've been back 3 times. I love it! It's fun to see all of the unique things from the small businesses. I bought a few great smelling soaps like lavender eucalyptus and tea tree oil. I found a store that has beautiful and affordable jewelry. I want to go back for the Anime/Fantasy themed planter pots I saw there yesterday. So unique! And the cheesecake stand. They have the best goodies, chips, and ice cream!

Yelp
Honestly, this is such an amazing place to visit. I loved seeing the garden displays and the fact you could also get a little bit of facts while walking through it to understand how animals, plants, etc make a garden and produce fresh food. The people were fantastic in each location. Everyone was super friendly, definitely kid friendly as well. Loved being able to come out and support local businesses. Will definitely be returning more often in the future for fresh produce, bakery, soaps, and so much more. If you've never been definitely check it out! You can also look on their website to see what businesses are there and the times they are and what they are selling.

Yelp
Finally got to visit this farmers market. Its very different than a traditional farmers market which is usually outside. This to me is a hybrid farmers market which has some places outside and inside. Most vendors are selling the same things which include produce, raw honey, trinkets. I would like to see more food vendors, possibly clothing and just a variety of things. There is a bakery there which I loved and will return for. I don't remember the name of the bakery but as soon as you get close to the location of the bakery you will smell a heavenly sent of fresh baked bread. They make fresh bread and a number of sweets. I purchased a pumpkin bar which was a cross between a pumpkin pie and pumpkin cheesecake. It was so delicious and I'm eager to trying out the other treats and breads they have in there.

Yelp
Whats not to love about my local farmers market. From events, yummy ice cream and local produce there's a lot to be done here and a lot to eat here. I am here quite often due to my family living right around the corner. We love when the carnival rides come in the spring and summer but also love all the pumpkins that come in the fall. All kinds of fruits and veggies can be found from all the local farms. Fresh flowers in the spring and summer. Fresh pumpkins in the fall and fresh Christmas trees in the winter. This market also contains many little shops. They have a butcher shop, bakery, and novelty stores. Something for everyone.
google avatar

Alycia A.

Yelp
This review is mainly for the Annual spring carnival held at the farmers market. The carnival is perfect for toddlers and young children, there are about 7 rides total. I like the fact that unlike other larger carnivals such as the one held at Mount Trashmoore, you are not required to pay extra for tickets in case you need to ride with your child, definitely a fan of saving a few dollars. They accept cash or credit. It nice to also be able to walk around the farmers market area where there is a bakery, a butcher shop, plenty of fresh produce and other items for sale such as local honey .

Yelp
This farmers market is a collection of staple farm stands in a hybrid indoor-outdoor market, where even the outdoor areas are covered by an interconnected pavilion that allows for a good amount of shade. -- Produce & Offerings -- The produce at the various stands are similar (watermelon, SC peaches, tomatoes, cucumbers, corn, onions, other veggies) and various packaged/canned goods (like honey, dressings). Some stood out with different options like grapes and beans. All of the produce looked fresh and in good condition. -- Gardens -- There's also a wonderful children's garden with lift-a-flap signs with educational info, labeled plants and herbs, and plenty of butterflies and bees to watch. Beside it is a kitchen garden that grows veggies and herbs year-round. -- Markets open March/April-Dec -- *S & H Produce (veggies, fruits, fresh eggs), *Holland Produce (veggies, fruits, fresh eggs), *Skipper Farms (veggies, fruits, packaged items), & *Creekmore's Place (veggies, fruits, honey, shelled beans). -- Year-Round Food -- *Seasons Best Bakery (indoor; fresh bakery and candy store with soups and take & bake options). *Gilly's Creamery (indoor; ice cream made on-site daily with milkshakes and other options). *Princess Anne Country Grill (indoor; all day breakfast, typical diner options for salads and sandwiches, a daily "blue plate" special). *Beach N Seafood (indoor off the parking lot; fresh and frozen options including scallops, shrimp, crab, lobster, etc). *The Country Butcher Shop (indoor; traditional and unique offerings). -- Year-Round Stores -- *Kempsville Florist & Gifts (indoor; gifts such as garden flags). *Chapman's Gifts (indoor; jams, honey, pickled items; nautical items and signs; fresh produce out front). *Flutterby Soap Co. (indoor; soaps, lotions, etc.) -- Drawbacks -- It was lacking in variety as far as vendors for produce beyond that of farms (although it seems there might be tents put up at the center during seasonal occasions). The packaged items weren't particularly local wares; a gift I bought I later realized was "made in Indonesia." I was hoping for options like fresh cheese, a local honey vendor, maybe local peach preserves (currently in season). -- Prices -- Costs are higher than grocery stores, as expected. A few examples: Take home & bake cinnamon buns: $3/bun (compare with $3.76/Cinnabon). Corn cut this morning: $0.99/ear (compare to Harris Teeter weekly sale at $0.35/ear). Large cucumber $0.99/each (compare to Harris Teeter weekly sale at $0.33/ear). -- Takeaway -- While this market isn't as diverse in its offerings as I would like, it has a lot of pros, such as regular hours; plenty of shade; fresh produce, seafood, bakery items, and more; and of course opportunities to support local farms and businesses. We will continue to support this local market!

Yelp
Stamped our VB passports on a chilly Sunday to visit this hybrid indoor/outdoor farmers market. Site played host to Anchor Church's Fall Shindig, offering plenty of space for the large, fun community celebration with games, bounce houses, food trucks, face painting, hot apple cider, live music, hot chocolate, and a bull riding simulator; Anchor even contracted ice cream from the onsite creamery for event goers. Wife and I liked the educational signs scattered throughout the site to enhance patrons' learning experiences. Kids read about the "3 sisters" and other harvest friendly produce. Parking in rear as well as in a moat around the markets. Gender specific restrooms onsite.

Yelp
Virginia Farmers market is the place to go during autumn and Halloween. Weather is cooler. The pumpkin display makes it a great visit for young children. They can visit the 'kitchen garden" and learn how food is grown. As for adults, they can buy fresh produce or buy some artistic crafts.

Yelp
I cant believe I haven't been here before! Awesome selection of farm fresh veggies, eggs, a butcher shop with delicious meats (lamb, beef, camel, bison, pork, chicken) They even have an ice rink with ice skate rentals, and a Christmas tree farm!!! The people working here are super friendly and most stalls accept credit card (some don't accept Amex) Swing in with a jug of hot chocolate and strap on a pair of ice skates and enjoy a fun night with friends and family
google avatar

Yelp
Always busy no matter the season interesting vendors who change and just plan on things like homemade soaps and canned local items, local bakery out front is a Quaker Bakery and it is amazing. Less lines cinnamon and cheese rolls go fast.
google avatar

Nina S.

Yelp
Love the self-contained circle of goodies within this farmer's market. It's a wonderful place to take kids to venture into the garden, take pictures with the cow, pick pumpkins, eat breakfast, grab an ice cream, and pick out some fresh produce, baked goods, and dairy products. It looks a little dated, and that's part of its charm, but the buildings could use a fresh coat of paint.
google avatar

Janelle C.

Yelp
Love all the soaps, jams, handmade goods and all the fresh produce here! Great selection and a few little mom and pop food shops here are so cute. Great way to spend a Saturday with family.
google avatar

Adam B.

Yelp
Sometimes it feels like if you hit one produce stand here, you've hit all of them. Similar products: tomatoes, spinach, corn, squash, zucchini, peppers that are than hell. Here and there, you might find a cucumber or some mushrooms or even eggs. The meat market feels like a shrine to the Pittsburgh Steelers. I mean, as long as it's not the freaking Patriots, I guess it's tolerable. The highlight for me is the bakery. Their crumb cake is far and away the best I've had in the entire state of Virginia. Plenty of crumbs, moist cake, the product holds together well. If you like crumb cake, I cannot recommend this one enough.

Yelp
Yesterday they had an event called the Apple Extravaganza and it was a blast of an event!! The entire farmers market was full of vendors selling everything from organic honey, fresh homemade donuts, homemade apple pies and gourmet popcorn to plants, custom gift baskets and clothing. There was also live music center stage. The energy was buzzing with families, pets, and people of all ages enjoying the sites, tastes and shopping! Prices were affordable. They had a police directing traffic and parking -it was very organized and easy to maneuver through all the vendors. I had never heard of this event before but if they do it again, I will be attending and bringing a group of people with me. Shoot out to All the farmers and small business owners for making this a wonderful event! :)

Yelp
It's nice that this place is open every day year round since not many markets do so. I thought the market was very underwhelming however. The best part is the little garden in the back full of flowers and butterflies. It's hard to spend longer than 20 minutes at this market.
google avatar

Chelsea B.

Yelp
We adore this market and visit weekly. Lots of local vendors and events listed on VB website! Check it out!
google avatar

Ashley R.

Yelp
Great find in VB! Open 7 days a week which is so unique and nice since sometimes it's difficult to get to the market the only day it's open. Here you can find a few gift shops with handmade goods, some produce stands and a nursery. The creamery is delicious, we get our milk from there. Fresh eggs offered at a few stands. We got strip steaks from the butchers and they were pretty expensive...but holy hell they were delicious! Probably the best I've ever had. Worth every penny! You'll also find a delicious bakery!
google avatar

Joe D.

Yelp
The Virginia Beach Farmer's Market is great little market full of produce stands, knickknacks, a butcher, old time specialty stores, a restaurant and even an ice cream stand. There's nothing else like it in the area. The place is open year round and you can pick up a Christmas Tree during the holidays or a Pumpkin during Halloween just as easily as you can pick up greens during the summer. There's not much I can say that hasn't already been covered by other Yelper's. If you want quality fresh food, the VBFM is definitely worth checking out. They are located off Dam Neck and Princess Anne road right next to the park and amphitheater.
google avatar

Alison M.

Yelp
Farmer's Market is cute. I've come here a few times over the years to get certain things like pumpkins and such and have always had a pleasant experience. I've never seen it really crowded and everyone working here selling their wares has always been very friendly and sweet. Today I roamed around a bit looking at the produce and also at the honey and jams. Usually I buy honey from Pike's Place Market in Seattle when I go for my yearly business trips but I might try some of this local honey made in Glenn (?), VA and see how I feel about that. The produce looked large and fresh and there was plenty of parking. That's all I need to know!
google avatar

Sharon T.

Yelp
I came here to get my Gilly's ice cream and enjoy the outside weather while visiting this local farmers market and the little shops. In all the years I've lived in Virginia, this farmers market hasn't changed much. I'm not sure if they did any updates to the stores but it still has its country style red barn structure. The location is central for buying fresh produce, butcher shop, visiting the little stores filled with plants and organic foods etc. I typically come for the Ice cream, seasonal produce, and organic foods. There is also the Amish country store with baked goods, jams and an eat in area inside. It's not a big Amish market, but they have also handcrafted wood furniture that they carved as well. The only thing i do not like about this place is the road set up. I really hate when I miss the turn into landstown rd off of dam neck and I end up having no choice but making a right into Princess Anne. It would definitely save me the gas so I wouldn't have to do a u turn if they just fixed the road entrance. There is only one area in and out of the farmers market. It's in a good central location but they could make a drive way for a side entrance off of Princess Anne or directly from dam neck. They have many festivities and events that they host here almost every weekend. They will be having the Friday hoe downs every week coming up. They have mini carnivals to bring the family to during various times of the year.
google avatar

Megan E.

Yelp
This place is open year round. They've got a huge selection of shops that include a creamery, a seafood shop, 2 bakeries, multiple veggie stands, a cafe, and a few other local shops! I go here all of the time and I'm never disappointed!
google avatar

Mike C.

Yelp
Excellent farmers market! Year round, Covered and plenty of options. We stopped at a few vendors everyone was very friendly and pleasant to deal with no matter what they were selling. You can absolutely stop here and get yourself a great lunch for on the go or dine alfresco and enjoy the weather. They have permanent vendor (brick and mortar stores - butcher shop for example) all the way to simple folding chairs with card tables selling jams and jellies. We stopped at one place (produce vendor) that had chicken for kids to look at and a goat to feed and pet - wow what a fun little place.

Yelp
I love their produce n fruits that was grown locally . Good selection of plants . Omg locally owned ice cream delicious.its nice ll just to sit outside n have ice cream so relaxing .

Yelp
This place is awesome when all the fresh summer produce is in season, and I love going in the fall when they have pumpkins out! Some of the stands take cash only, so be sure to hit up the ATM before you come. Creekmore is my favorite, they are so friendly and always compliment me when I come in! There is also an organic grocery (very good but very expensive), a butcher shop (the best around), Uncle Chuck selling fresh seafood out of his truck, a storefront for a local dairy and a few gift shops and two restaurants. Neat place!
google avatar

Vic E.

Yelp
Quaint little gathering of small local businesses. Located here are a butcher shop, a dairy shop, produce stands, country cafe, flower shop, seafood stand, candy shop, etc... just to name a few. Nice place to get breakfast and get a little walking in around the shops supporting local businesses.
google avatar

Sherri I.

Yelp
We stopped at this farmers market while visiting Virginia Beach. We had breakfast at the dinner. Very good but a little pricey. The women who took our order was pleasant and efficient. We got some fresh produce at each of the stands and hit up the butcher for some awesome ribeye steaks. Our favorite stop was the seafood shop. The owner was passionate and knowledgeable. Really fresh seafood and good prices. We got raw oysters, some nice shrimp and scallops. It was worth the ten mile drive from the beach :-)
google avatar

Tawny A.

Yelp
wow. This is really not my cup of tea. I really do try to buy local and support small farms but....this place makes it hard. It is more a quirky attraction than a farmer's market. Maybe I am spoiled by FMs in California, Atlanta and Honolulu where I have lived in the past but so far I have yet to find what I am looking for. I want rows and rows of vendors selling a big selection of produce and hand made foods. I don't want crappy gift shops with a few barrels of apples in between. Having said that- this is totally a place I will take my visitors just to show them weird fun things in Hampton Roads.
google avatar

Lindsey L.

Yelp
Fresh and locally grown. I absolutely love this sweet country gem. Best time to come is spring- fall of course. I still come through here in the winter to pick up a few fresh veggies and of course the fresh bacon. I love the cherry wood smoked bacon. It's 9$ a lb but it's worth it. You get what you pay for. Tip: bring your own little basket or bag to carry your produce home. Bring cash & military gets 10% off. Also come around 3-5pm when the farmers are packing up to leave and you'll get a little deal being that they don't want to carry all that produce home. They have glass jarred fresh milk. $2 deposit for the exchangeable jars and its a little expensive for the milk but you get a good quality hormone free milk. Delicious. Love this place. I come every Sunday after church. Support the local farmers and enjoy good quality produce and meats. Can't wait for the spring when they sell Carolina reaper plants, ghost pepper plants & the scorpion pepper plant. yes!!!! Can't wait!!!

Yelp
This is a really cute famers market .. They have a lot of organic foods (such as veggie and fruit too even foods in jars) and things that are hand made (clothing, sculpture, candles, etc) ..stuff like that are usually pricy..and it was... I didn't really get anything there aspect for an ice cream cone Homemade ..something like that .. It cost about six bucks for two scoops of vanilla ice cream ... The place and the area is nice ... so welcoming and the products looks fresh and tasteful ... There was a lot people seeing what this place has to offer ... I came here just because i driven by to and though ohhh lol

Bruce K.

Yelp
I love farmer's markets and I'm ashamed to say that I've yet to visit the one in Charlotte. But I've been to this one in Virginia Beach a couple of times. Great selection of vendors including produce, butcher, creamery, deli and grocery. The little restaurant is great and does a really good breakfast. Mmmmm... sausage gravy and biscuits.
google avatar

Carnelia G.

Yelp
I've said it before and I'll say it again--I haven't jumped on this organic food bandwagon. I guess it's because, as yet, there really isn't an agreed upon definition for "organic" (besides maybe "cost more"). Free of pesticides? Maybe. Free of hormones? Possibly. But I like the Virginia Beach Farmer's Market. It's actually food and produce from actual farmers. Going here reminds me of summers at my grandparent's farm--picking fresh blackberries off the vine, digging out potatoes and running away from cows. If you want fresh food, something that literally just came from the earth, this is the only place I trust. Skip those trendy organic food markets and come out and browse real food, fresh from local farms (and if you're from Virginia, especially in this area, you know we have plenty of farms).
google avatar

Laine S.

Yelp
It's a touristy farmers market. The real farmers have small tables set up. Go buy from them. The others that have rather large buying areas are store owners and not really farmers, but merchants who have long been in the business. They all collaborate on prices and sell stuff from the same people even though they are separate. Don't buy any jewelry even if it says hypoallergenic. None of it is hypoallergenic, by the look of my green hives.
google avatar

Malou S.

Yelp
We attended Farmers Market HRFTA Food Truck Rodeo my goodness if it wasn't so cold outside it would of been great to stay outside eat your chosen meal and listen to the band play. If it was done during the summer time would've been much better. But the food that we did eat was very good.
google avatar

Kelli T.

Yelp
I love this farmer's market! They really have everything you could possibly want. I don't usually go during the winter months, but I'm a happy shopper from around April - October/November. I must admit some of the vendors and a few of the small shops can be a bit pricey, but it's the farmer's market what do you expect. They have a dairy store, butcher shop, fish market, bakery and vendors and vendors of fresh fruit and veggies. I'm hooked...!
google avatar

Mo B.

Yelp
This place is like a tiny town within itself. Everything you need in one condensed area smaller than half of a Wal-Mart, and all local produce. Dairy, veggies, fruits, even health food, they seem to have it all. I've really gotten this strange fascination with building a relationship with my food. I enjoy knowing where it came from, what goes into making it, and who's behind the whole shabang. Sure, as a vegan, I've always been somewhat conscious, but farmers market is an opportunity to become an informed consumer. Totally diggin it.
google avatar

Sarah T.

Yelp
Considering the other area farmer's markets, this is relatively one of the best. Extremely kitschy, the market seems to be more of a tourist spot rather than a true farmer's market. Parts of it feel more like the stands you see at the County Fair rather than a true sustainable market. There's a Kettle Corn stand and a lady singing bad Country Music covers. However, there is a butcher shop and Uncle Chuck and his truck of seafood did us proud. Try the Manta Ray from Uncle Chuck. Don't be scared. He'll tell you how to cook it, and it's delicious! We also got some delicious, cheap sweet corn. There is also an organic grocery that stocks products from The New Earth Farm. The prices are pretty comparable to other organic groceries, but the selection is a bit small. It would be disappointing for the serious, experienced farmer's market shopper, but taken with a grain of salt and good humor can be enjoyable.
google avatar

Cris T.

Yelp
Seasonal fruits and vegetable are also available in the market. Pumpkin and apple are the vegetable of the month.

Yelp
There aren't too many choices for buying local produce around town. Thank goodness for the Virginia Beach Farmers Market. It's the real deal. Not a Sysco truck dumping off produce (nothing fires me up more than one of those kinds of produce stands). There is no comparison between fresh, local produce and the unripened, gased and chemical-ridden produce at the grocery store. If you want vegetables and fruits with FLAVOR, buy your food local and in season. Maybe it costs a little more, but it supports the farmers who work hard to make it possible, and it's much better for the environment and community. While most of the produce at the Virginia Beach Farmer's Market is certified organic, that is mostly because it is cost prohibitive for farmers to get the certification. Most of them still grow food without pesticides and many with heirloom seeds. The produce usually starts in April with Asparagus. Strawberries are the star in May. Then summer season brings just about everything---squash, cucumber, tomato, melons, greens, potatoes, green onion are always on my list. Then fall comes too fast, at least for me, and brings pumpkins with it. If you have ever tried to grow your own produce, you can really appreciate what these farmers do. Some of my favorites include the country store food. Items like kettle corn and preserves. Also, they sell fresh eggs, butter and milk. It's out there kinda far in Virginia Beach, but it's worth the drive. The cute series of buildings could entertain you for much of the day.

Yelp
I absolutely made a mistake in coming to this place on a Sunday, over half the shops were closed. I can imagine it being a fun little stop on a different day, next time i am in town i will give it another try.

I dig the Farmers Market. I would give it a high rating even if the only vendor in the place was the bakery, Season's Best. Seriously, you have to check it out. The place smells like heaven. The turtle cheesecake is a standout. The people who run it are wonderful. They are on the back side of the market and definitely the star in my opinion! As for the other vendors, it's fun to walk around and check out the produce and other products. The butcher shop is good. We have bought a few items from there and been happy with them. We haven't tried much else from the other shops but it's worth your time to see if something catches your eye.

Yelp
Fresh vegetables, fresh milk and a butcher all in one spot. It's better than any grocery store around. They have seasonal products that are local. Can't beat the prices and the products.
