Downtown Austin Pop-Up Features Fun Sandwiches and Burritos on Rainey Street | Eater Austin

"I learned that California restaurant chain Vitality Bowls is looking to open in Austin; the health-food chain focuses on made-to-order açaí bowls, smoothies, juices, soups, salads, and paninis and was started by co-founders Roy and Tara Gilad in 2011 in California before beginning franchising in 2014." - Nadia Chaudhury

I am a gym enthusiast and very careful about my diet. I avoid eating rice or too many carbs because they can affect my bodybuilding training. I have been a customer of Vitality for two years now. I usually buy from the store near my house every day. I love their food because it’s delicious and reasonably priced. Everything is fresh, high in protein, and of great quality. You can customize your order to your liking without following a set recipe. Highly recommended for anyone looking for healthy food!

Went today and ordered a regular vitality and warrior bowl. We were the first ones in the store and waited 25+ minutes for our food. Our names were never called and we had to check if they made it, meanwhile those who came after us received their food. We understand mistakes are made but we paid $30 for two bowls only for them to come out with a watery consistency & didn’t receive spoons with them.

UPDATE: the store manager did his best to make things right, he reached out to me through email and text message in attempt to clear up the mistakes. Apparently my email had gotten lost and was not seen by their store due to me sending it to the general vitality bowls and not the store specific email. Anoop Then refunded my order and sent me a gift card to try their food again, on him. Although I did not expect any of this, it was a very nice gesture to see the length he would go to protect the reputation of his store. Today I went to the store in person to cash in my gift card, I ordered the protein power smoothie and steak potato bowl, both which were delicious, tasting fresh and made properly this time around. Definitely a good spot to try for healthy eats if you are in the area. Pt: 1 I ordered some lunch and did not receive what was ordered, missing ingredients on both items, and I both called and emailed them with no response or intention to fix their mistake. Paid $40 for two incomplete meals. This store has gone way downhill in the recent years.

Fresh, Delicious, and Always Consistent! I’ve been to Vitality Bowls Cupertino multiple times, and every visit has been a great experience! The açaí bowls are always fresh, packed with flavor, and beautifully presented. I usually go for the Nutty Bowl or the Dragon Bowl — both are filling and feel like a healthy treat. The staff is friendly and efficient, even when it’s busy. I appreciate how clean the space is, and the team always makes an effort to get my order right, especially since I have a few dietary preferences. If you’re looking for something nutritious, refreshing, and made with care, this place is a solid choice. Highly recommend

I am shocked. First of all, it took 30 minutes for these bowls to be made, which is crazy since 90% of the bowl is just lettuce, the chicken was raw in places and the quinoa was hard as rocks. This bowl cost $16 and was not even safe to serve to customers. Even if the food was cooked properly, you should not be charging customers $16 for a bowl of lettuce and 3 pieces of chicken. Or call it a salad, not a “grain bowl.” At least I’m not hungry anymore, because this experience ruined my appetite.

“Closes at 9” drove across town and got there at 8:30… closed early looks like! Edit: They responded saying they are always there until 9. I went on the 11th and there was no one there at 8:30 with the lights off and doors locked. They should just update the time to reflect correct business hours and not mislead people into driving there when they close early. It’s obvious whoever was working that night didn’t wanna be there.

We had an acai bowl each morning while visiting the area. The staff were great and made our bowls well. The food is delicious.

Lost a star because it can be inconsistent but whoever made my go green smoothie this morning (8am Tues, Aug 26) gets a million stars. Absolutely killed it. When it's good it's great.
