Well, now I can say that I've had a seltzer the color of "zelyonka"! To my non-slavic friends and followers, let's say this: When I got my sample of Baja Splash Seltzer, my initial reaction was "it's green!" (or was it "blue"?). No matter, I can say for sure it was great!
This one was refreshing, summery, citrusy, and while sweet, not overwhelmingly so. Something I would 10/10 get again, and need to get my tail end over here before it rotates out! I also have a light fascination with blue food - it seems like it shouldn't exist, but I digress.
As for their other offerings, I feel that they have an okay selection. Some seltzers, stouts, sours, and non-alcoholic options were all available. However, the menu was also IPA heavy, and while I appreciate that I may be in the minority, I am not an IPA fan. Though, perhaps that may change in the future with Vitamin Sea's help.
The staff have been nothing but kind and welcoming. While typical of places like this, the ability to try samples doesn't go unnoticed.
Finally, the vibe is open, hip, and communal. There are lots of picnic style tables, and card/board game available to borrow.
Thus, a terrific brewery to spend a weekend afternoon or evening at. The place is open to families and friend groups, and food trucks are here often. Lots to try and enjoy; especially for IPA lovers. Brewery fans will also appreciate another favorite: Barrel House Z throwing distance away.
