Vittoria Pizza

I was so excited to finally eat their delicious split pea soup that I’ve been craving for months! To my disappointment, not only did it taste different but some of the peas were hard and others well cooked. They told me that’s just how it comes out. Obviously they mixed an old batch with making a new one. I was informed there is a new manager, Mia. Tsk tsk Never again. They compensated me by only charging for the garlic bread.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Ended up getting a meatball sub to go. Taste was really good. 5/5 for meatballs. My only gripe was that there was way too much damn sauce on there 😂 I had to go get a spoon to eat it. Definitely not what I was expecting when I ordered a sandwich. Ultimately, is was tasty but super messy.

I took my mother's advice and tried this place out, and I definitely enjoyed myself. I went with the weekly lunch special of spaghetti and a salad, and both were very tasty. The salad had a great mix of veggies including onions, and went well with the balsamic dressing I picked. For the spaghetti vittoriese, the flavors of the sauce, meat, and mushrooms were subtle and blended well together, resulting in a very genuine and relaxing meal. It was a very hot day, and the deepest section of the restaurant was a little stuffy and warm, which was my only issue, and much easier to ignore once I had my food. The free refills on soft drinks also helped a lot, as well as the good and kind service. I'll definitely be back to try the pizza, which my mother highly recommended to me.

Had a great dine-in experience at Vittoria Pizza! We ordered the Vittoria Pizza Special and another with a mix of meat toppings — both were absolutely delicious. The crust, flavor, and portions were spot on. The staff were friendly, patient, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. A big thank-you to Kiana for being so attentive and making the visit even better. Highly recommend this spot if you're craving quality pizza and great service!

It's been a long while since eating at Vittoria Pizza. I became immediately annoyed when I saw the posted sign: $1.00 for a glass of water, refills are free. What the heck. However, our server was very kind and gave good service. The food was good. Next time, I'll bring my own water.

I've been coming here with my family since I was a little kid. The food has always been phenomenal and the portions are hefty so expect leftovers! The minestrone soup is a great starter too. Shoutout to Stephanie for making us feel so comfortable and friendly.

I had a hankering for linguine and clam sauce and I've been driving past this place for over a decade so I thought I'd give it a shot. The host was cool and even though I was alone said it was cool to sit in a booth. The place was about half full with one big party and a couple of couples. Other than a baby crying it was pretty quiet in there. I looked at the menu and looked at the linguine and clam sauce for 25 bucks, and got idea that I should get a pizza for tomorrow; two toppings around 20 bucks without tax for a small eight slice pizza. Probably more than I was thinking to spend but what the heck I was there. And then it happened. Or then it didn't happen. Three different service staff, who I assume were waiters because that's what they were doing at the other tables, walked right by me, looked dead at me, then looked away without further acknowledgement. One did it once and two did it twice. I was looking right at them with my menu closed but they never even got close to me. I began to feel like they were avoiding me -- it was really weird. And then I noticed how quiet it was inside. I started think, maybe they're all being held hostage? But people did leave, unmolested, and after about 15 minutes I did too. I mean i'm glad I did, ultimately, because 60 bucks without taxes a lot to spend and it will buy a lot of groceries. Also if their service is so desultory I can't imagine the food is all that great either.

I was hoping this would be a great mom and pop place to enjoy some authentic pizza. However, it I was disappointed. I ordered a saporita pizza and hot wings plate. The food itself was above average. The chicken was decent but not worth $13, I could've gotten better at wing stop. The pizza had the ingredients but they didn't come together, the dough was a bit tough. It was not worth $20 for a small 12" pizza that supposed to be "gourmet". Maybe the store has been around for a while and had good relationship with the locals, but I felt that I wasn't getting what I paid for.

Now this is a weird one for me, I've been coming here for years as I work locally and I know it's changed owners and it's been a while since I've been back but last week I decided to stop by for a sandwich and I was pleasantly surprised. This is more like a 3.5 star review not a 3 by the way. I've tried multiple things here, including pasta, pizza, and my go to is the sandwiches. I'm not gonna lie. The pizza is underwhelming ,the pasta to me is not good at all, but their sandwiches are still very good and that's what I ordered last week. I usually get the pastrami or the super Italian sub, but a lot of people that I go with get other sandwiches also and these things are big and packed full of meat and still pretty reasonably priced considering today's market. Like I said if you're used to good italian food, skip the pizza or pasta but if you do like a good sandwich, then I would roll with one of these things for sure.

Rosalina has to go. She's very lazy, or she's unable to multitask. The place had only two tables with costumers, and still we couldn't get decent service. WTH!!!

I've had their pizza before but had never dined in until recently. The restaurant is tucked away behind a gas station, and the strip mall is easy to miss. I ordered the minestrone soup w/o and spaghetti w/ meatballs. The portions were huge and I had plenty left over for lunch the next day. The service was great, and the place was packed. It seemed like everyone was ordering pizza except for us. I loved seeing families dining together, and they had live sports playing on the TV, I think it was baseball.

I've been going to Vittoria's pizza for over 20 years and I'm never disappointed at my order. I've brought extended family members, and friends to Vittoria's anytime I'm in the Alhambra area. The dough, tomato sauce and cheese are superior ingredients to any other pizza restaurants I've been too. If you are ever in Alhambra please stop by Vittoria's.

Tino is the name of the man with the mustache and his service really improved since last time! Maybe back then he was new or having an off day, but he was on point today! Very attentive and our food came out so fast! I didn't even finish my salad by the time my spinach tortellini came out! Mom got her lasagna then too! As always the food and portions were great! Looking forward to eating my leftovers later.

I've been eating here since I was in middle school, and withour fail I've always left witha full belly and heart. While the food here is by no means gourmet, it has a lot of passion and the staff I've grown up to know over the years. If nothing else, this is a small business that prides itself on a filling meal. Im grateful something like this still exists in the world.

Oh my gosh it was so great having one of my favs the linguine and class. To top it off my favorite person Roz waited on my table. It's always pleasurable, when I see Roz. She's polite and always efficient makes you feel very welcomed.

Lovely, warm, home cooking at it's finest! Very welcoming staff, very comfortable seating and atmosphere. As for the food, it's very good and yummy :) I usually just get the pizza and it's 5/5 right there. My wife got the lasagna and she liked it well enough. Lastly, this place is very light on the wallet! Took the whole family out to eat for under $50! Hard to find that in LA in 2025, unless it's Dumpster Denny's LOL

Great food, terrible, downright stinky service, from the BO to the attitude. Lost my appetite. Been coming here for 15+ years. Dingy place, fell off after they switched owners. RIP to the Vittoria legacy.

My family and I have been coming here since early 2016, and this place is timeless, one of the best pizza spots in California hands down.. The staff are so nice and down to earth, and the pizza my goodness is amazing as well!

This is small Italian restaurant in a strip mall. Went for their lunch special. The price was good but not so much the food. The sausage sandwich had no flavor what so ever. The service was attentive.

This place is TRASH! Ever since the Sicilians sold it, this place has gone downhill. This is so sad, this use to be my go to Italian restaurant. Pizzas are bland and cust is terrible, they use to have the best pizza crust. They always over cook the pasta and their marinara sauce has changed and is very acidie.

Friendly service. I had a party of 6 but they took forever to come. Very understanding.

Great food and good service. They have friendly staff and really good cheesy pizza. My youngest loves the spaghetti and you can't ho wrong with the family special.

Nice people. Pasta was good, pizza was good, but I'm not a fan of a place that defaults to canned mushrooms and charges extra for fresh mushroom. Classic lovely booths. Mini mall parking lot, right next to the gas station.

Piping hot pizza so fresh and large size is enough for 3 kids and 2 adults. Found this place when Skyzone was just a soft opening. Very closed by. We ordered to go and the pizza was ready when we arrived. Will go back for the fresh food.

We ordered a large half pepperoni and half ham and pineapple and when we picked it up we thought everything was fine but when we got it home and started eating it we noticed that the cheese wasn't melted for some reason and was not very good so when we put the leftovers in the fridge we didn't think that it was a big deal until we took it out of the fridge the very next day for lunch for my son it was green and looked like it was over a week old. Never has this happened before and since this experience with our local pizza joint we have all definitely decided to never eat there again.

I ordered takeout and, once again, there's an issue. Last time, we were told pizza would be ready in 25 mins., I live five minutes away - we waited the 25 mins plus so they'd have time to box it and it would be waiting for us. Nope, it wasn't ready. It was going to take another 25 mins because the cook was looking for the pizza - flipping receipts on boxes and opening up a couple already done. So, we take a seat and wait the thirty minutes. Today, I dreaded ordering but was immediately apprehensive. I placed the takeout order, have it read back and proceed to give my name and number. I'm told it will be 20 mins - I ask, "is it going to be ready or do y'all start making it when we arrive?" She replies, "no, it will be ready." I'm unsure if she's knows what she is saying so I tell her I'll be there in five minutes and she proceeds to assure me, "it'll be ready." And hung up. I arrive and tell her I'm here to pickup a takeout order and gave my name. They don't have it. She flips through the receipt book and nothing. She looks at other receipts strewn on the counter and nothing. Then she starts punching it in as a new order, I tell her whoever answered at 434pm took the order and she said that was her, I appreciate honesty. Then, she's prompted by the cook to look at another receipt book and there it is. The cook started making the pizza and it took ten minutes. I'm driving home with it now, I looked at it and the pizza looks as ordered. Will wait and see. Keeley is her name. Please work with her.

Italian food was delicious . The first time here, I didn't know what to expect or to order. We order pineapple jalapeño pizza, lasagna, cheese sticks and a meatball. These portions are definitely meant to be shared. I have recommended a few of my family when asked about good Italian food.

I haven't been here for few years. On a Friday night in early February, my hubby was craving for Vittoria pizza so we phoned in our order-large pizza with pepperoni, sausage and mushrooms. It was ready by 20 min. The counter girl was nice and we got our pizza. I didn't see anyone eating inside. The large pizza has a corn meal at the bottom and each slice was heavy to carry similar to Angelo's. Plenty of cheese and ratio of toppings. I would come back for their sandwiches.

Homely environment with polite service staff and decent pizza. The waiters would check in consistently with my friend and I to see if the meal was going well and if there was anything else we needed. Important condiments such as crushed red pepper and Parmesan cheese were available in abundance. Bathroom had everything I needed.

Great pizza and the best minestrone I've ever had! I ordered the sausage pepperoni pizza and it was tasty.

Simply amazing, where do I start the flavors are one of the most delicious I've tried in a while, very generous portions. Service was welcoming, respectful, and inviting. The ambiance is chill, friendly, and a little touch of Italy. A must I rarely say this but this is truly delicious try their lasagna trust me Bon Appetit. I am only posting a review because I want Vittoria's to do better. We've been coming here for years. Usually we order the family meal or we get the mega pizza and catering trays. Their food is great, however; the service has been not so great lately. I'm not sure if it's because they have new staff or what. We placed a phone order and the girl screwed up the order so bad. By the time we got home there was no point to call or go back. The time before that we placed a phone order and we arrived and they never took down the order. I hope they improve their service.

My department orders often from here. Occasionally I'll bring a pizza home for my family. Always great pizza. Antipasta salads are a favorite. Today we ordered sub sandwiches italian and turkey ham avocado. Bread was not fresh and dry. Says its baked fresh daily. Could not have been. But overall the medium size is pretty big and everything inside was great. Ordered jalepeno poppers, they were ok. Seemed better before, 10 for 12.99 is over priced. The lady on the phone is always rude. No need to be constantly rude and a smart ass. This is nothing new, it just gets old and taints the place. Everyone else is great and very nice.

Pizza is a classic! Delicious but my go to is the hot sub I want to say its the # 47 any hoot my favorite the meatball, their amazing sausage, mushroom, and provolone cheese. Man O man! My mouth is watering!! Thank you!

Everybody tells me this place changed. I have to check it out myself. I admit, yes it has changed and it is not the same vibe as years back. Everything does change though the thing to look out for is whether it changed for the worst or for the better. Hoping it's for the best. If they ever want to style, I would love to purchase it! I'm very serious.

Staff is very nice and patient. The food is very good as well, it gets you full very fast. The best Italian restaurant! The ambiance of the restaurant is very nice and calm, no one is loud it's quiet, perfect for a date night or to dine in alone. It was very well, I suggest coming here if you are around or visiting.

I've been coming here for over 20 years since my high school days. The food hasn't changed (at least the things I order). When my husband and I talk about "The Best" of different categories anywhere, Vittoria always remains our choice for the best lasagna, the best pizza, the best meatball subs, and the best tomato meat sauce. LASAGNA: The lasagna will take about 20 minutes when you order it but it always comes perfectly baked. The lasagna is pretty densely layered and plenty of meat and cheese. The noodles are perfect in texture, chewy and not too hard or soft. Then on top it has tons of meat sauce and chewy melted delicious mozzarella. PIZZA: The pizzas are well packed with toppings and one of the few pizzas where I actually want to eat the crust. It's addictive. The slices are pretty hefty. They don't just flop and drop all the toppings. Toppings of course are your preference, but if you order mushrooms, make sure to specify fresh mushrooms to avoid the canned ones as they have both. I also personally love to nuke leftover Vittoria's pizza in the microwave. The cheese will blend with the crust and become a good gooey. chewy consistency. MEAT SAUCE: Absolutely delicious. It's sweeter than many other Italian places. I think that's why us Asians like it a lot =) OTHER PASTAS: I'm not a big fan of their other pastas as much so I stick to my regular items which is more than enough to keep me coming back. SANDWICHES/SUBS: They have a large variety of cold and hot subs. Always choose the large size. It's like $1 more than the medium. They're really big. Half of one is more than enough for a meal and they're stuffed full. #48 is my go to. It's full of meatball and sausage chunks, mushrooms tell them fresh), meat sauce and cheese. #35 the Super Italian is my alternate if I feel like a good combo Italian cold cut sub. COVID: They are take out and delivery only for COVID-19. They have a separate entrance and exit door and allow one party in at the counter at one time. Everyone else waits outside. They will happily bring your order out to you car when it's ready. THE STAFF: Very sweet and attentive. They always make us feel welcome. One of the girls is also an amazing makeup artist. We happened to be there around Halloween one year and she had painted a day of the dead design on have her face that was just breathtaking. Edit: Added some photos!

This more of an update. I'm done with this place. When the new owners took over, I gave them the benefit of the doubt because usually new owners just runt the business into the ground. Especially if they are clueless foreigners. But unfortunately they gone from bad to worse. With slow horrible service, I've decided not to order from them and/ dine in at the restaurant. It started with them charging you more if you ordered online. Then they got rid of their website altogether. Then slowly but surely the wait time got longer and longer. Then came the incompetence and bad service. Numerous time they got the order wrong and it took forever for your order. They got a new POS system but the staff is still learning how to use it. One time I went and the lady was completely lost, yet she was laughing that she still learning how to use. I guess she thought it was funny that she was keeping paying customers waiting due to her incompetence. After all that, when I got home I discovered they gave me the wrong order. The last straw for me was my last order. I placed an order on the phone, they me it would be a half hour for it to be picked up. I got there a half hour later paid for the order, after they told me it was going to be another half hour for my order to be ready. I get it, they're busy, but to tell me to be there at a certain time and then make me wait. I demanded a refund, walked out and haven't returned since. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else that actually has and cares about customer service.

A nice, casual family restaurant. Lentil soup is terrific along with the salad. The pasta and lasagne are filling and have a nice sauce. It's also a friendly atmosphere. We go there weekly. 5 stars

I've been been coming here since about 2005. The lunch specials are a great deal. There's always enough food to take home and have leftovers.
