We come here weekly! Food is priced well. Drinks are pretty good! We love the Vittorio’s pizza well done with added mushrooms and deleted green peppers/onions. They have some date night specials and special holiday features like on fathers/mothers days. The daily specials remain the same. Our waiter and the host recognize us so they are friendly and always helpful. Our favorite appetizer is the melon prosciutto, it’s delicious. All items are worth a try to see what you like. You cannot go wrong for most choices including dessert and espresso. I am not a kid so I don’t appreciate the brown paper over the table cloth. It’s tacky but useful if you want to color. Thank you!

I was just coming in for a kids pizza and the gentleman (not sure if it was the owner or manager) was very warm and welcoming. This was the second time we had ordered takeout. The first time we ordered the tortellini and chicken parm. It was delicious! We will definitely come back. Thank you very much for the warm welcome. Being new to the neighborhood, it really meant a lot.

We went for Tuesday date night and it was great and the best value in town. There’s a choice of four entrees, we had the salmon and chicken. There’s a Caesar salad to share and it comes with a bottle of wine, also four choices and the Pinot Grigio was very good. We also shared a cannoli for dessert. The dinner was $44, dessert $10 so lots of food and everything was delicious.

Google
Review for their Tuesday special! Friends and I came in for dinner and we picked this place because it was in between our houses. We discovered their Tuesday special and will be back. Two small plates of their Caeser salad, Choice of entree per person(meat lasagna, ravioli, chicken dish, or lemoni salmon), and a bottle of house wine to share. All for about $42! The food was pretty good too! They brought our complimentary bread with marinara as well. Another friend ordered spaghetti Bolognese and it was a huge portion for about $20. Our server Martin took great care of us too.

Google
Came here with a group and the service and atmosphere was very nice. The food however, left much to be desired. The majority of us felt like the sauce was bland. I had the chicken and sausage plate and thought it was decent, just not a lot of flavor.

Rida A.

Google
Very cute ambiance, good food, and fantastic service all nestled in a neighborhood restaurant. We have visited twice with our dog and they are always very friendly and make us feel like family. Case in point, many of their customers appear to be regulars. Portion sizes are large and very shareable (or take-homeable).

Karen D.

Google
Wow, the food was AMAZING! The staff was awesome! And the atmosphere was great! We got there late on a Sunday evening and had never been there before and the staff was very gracious. And they had a full bar and made some good drinks. Oh, and on Sundays, the pasta dishes are half price! How great is that!

Google
We went to Vittorio's for the first time last night to take advantage of their date-night deal ($44 for two). The staff was friendly and the food superb. We will be back soon.

Yelp
Vittorio's is a hidden gem that has become one of our go-to Italian restaurants and for good reason. We've been coming here regularly for quite some time and every visit reminds us why we keep coming back. The food is consistently delicious, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service always feels personal. Their Tuesday Date Night Special is an absolute steal. It's not just a bargain, it's a full-on culinary experience. From appetizers to dessert, everything is thoughtfully prepared and generously portioned. It's rare to find a place that feels like home while still making each visit feel special.

Yelp
Easy parking, comfortable seating, good service, a-ok ambiance, good menu, ok value, ok food. I got bread with butter, water, veal parm with veggies, volcano. Pasta may be better than chicken or veal parm.

Yelp
Lasagna?, Mancotta? Lobster Ravioli?.... You Like???? Any pasta at all is 50% off every Sunday & Monday! Excellent staff and service, they all work in unison to bring you an enjoyable dining experience. As they have done for my wife and me over these past six years, give or take. Plenty of good, easy parking. The food here is very nice. Easy on the wallet, too.

Yelp
Returned for lunch with a friend and our grandson. First customers of the day. I took advantage of the 1/2 bottle of wine ordering a Banfi Chianti. We started with 2 orders of calamari and a beef carpaccio. Delicious. My Grandson had the classic spaghetti while I had the Fra Diavolo withe shrimp. My wife and our friend split a Fra Diavolo and lobster ravioli with black mussels. For dessert I had 3 cannolis, our grandson had.cheese cake, our friend had the chocolate lava cake and my wife had chocolate mousse. All the food was fantastic. Service was top notch. The ambiance is relaxed and peaceful. Definitely one of the best Italian restaurants in San Diego.

Yelp
Nice guys unite! Popped in for a lunch with a price fix menu, and food was very good! Perfectly tender salmon and flavorful potatoes and veg. Ambiance is stripmall chic, service was prompt and friendly, and prices were good!

Mengqi H.

Yelp
It is really tasty! With great service! Hope more people can give it a try. Love love

Yelp
Plenty of parking in the plaza and we were promptly seated. There weren't too many people so the service was pretty efficient. The atmosphere was very nice with high ceilings. They provided complimentary bread. We got the artichokes as an appetizer. It was flavorful and tender without being too sour as it is sometimes. My husband's linguine was great and he loved the shrimp. My sister in law's mushroom ravioli was really good although the ravioli was a little too al dente. The 3 star is because of my own dish. I ordered the Pappardelle al Ragu di Costolette Corte. It called to me from the menu and I was so excited to try it because I love short rib. When my dish was set down, it wasn't pappardelle. And there was what looked like a meat sauce. And the waiter who placed it down said "the bolognese". So I said I ordered the pappardelle al ragu. He took it away. A few minutes later, some pappardelle was placed down in front of me with the same looking meat sauce. So I asked if this was the ragu, and he said yes. Now I didn't want to argue so I just accepted this pasta dish. The pappardelle was a little on the soft side, bolognese was fine, but I didn't appreciate being lied to about that pasta dish.

Yelp
This place has lasted a long time in this location but I think it's pretty mid at this point. For some reason, they got rid of the eggplant parm, which was their best vegetarian dish. One of the elders in my family still loves their tomato sauce so we get takeout from here every once in a while, but I don't get too excited about it! I got the salmon tonight with mashed potatoes, tomato sauce, vegetables, and capers. It was OK, but not anything I'd go out of my way to order. And I used to love this dish here!

Yelp
Came here for dinner. Ordered Cesar Salad, Salmone Al Carciofi, Penne Bisanzio and Tiramisu. Food was okay, service was great but it was just not enough for us to come back again. The facility is clean and well maintained.
google avatar

Darren K.

Yelp
The Cioppino is now $29.75. I should have read the previous reviews because the quality and flavor of the cioppino was highly disappointing. Most of the small clam shells were empty and the mussels were small. There were two pieces of shrimp and a few more calimari rings. The soup tasted like canned tomato soup with garlic and basil added. Should have ordered a pizza instead.
google avatar

Ray A.

Yelp
These guys get a bad rap on Yelp. If you go to Google review this place has very high marks. But this place has great food and great service. You just need to ask Chuck, our server. He was amazing as was the food.

Yelp
Spacious, charming, relaxing, hospitality Water is always filled. Attentive service Salmon and veal are perfectly cooked. Good portion. Mediterranean salad and Cesar salad are refreshing. Tiramisu dessert is cream of the crop. Remember to order coffee to go with it.
google avatar

Michelle A.

Yelp
Ordered delivery. The soup was pure oil and maybe a bit of tomato sauce from a can with some undercooked, crunchy vegetables floating in it and no seasoning at all. I couldn't figure out what all the oil was for because the veggies weren't even cooked. So bland and oily it went in the trash. Meatballs were okay but they were in a very watery, unseasoned tomato sauce, definitely not marinara, that seemed like it was just poured straight out of the same can of tomato sauce they used for the soup. They should be embarrassed to call this Italian food. One star for the bread which was good and one star for the meatballs.
google avatar

Michael F.

Yelp
Always a good local choice. A warm environment, and the food never disappoints. Topping the meal off with a tiramisu and a cup of coffee. The service is always on point. So an affordable Italian meal that local, you can't go wrong.

Yelp
Came here for a last minute Sunday night dinner because we saw they had great reviews and wanted to try it out. There's a reason they're so well reviewed. Had such a lovely dinner! The service was incredible and attentive. Our server was very informative on the menu and specials of the evening. On sundays they do half off bottles of wine! Food was delicious and the portions were plentiful. The restaurant had a warm and cosy feel, which I always am drawn to. Great spot! Plenty of parking outside as it is in a shopping center.

L S.

Yelp
You cannot beat the Tuesday night special. Two meals, a salads, and wine for $44. It is so chill and relaxed but with napkins that are real and the food is amazing. This is hands down my favorite restaurant. I love that the food is so good. The warm bread. The chicken parm. It is the best neighborhood restaurant in the world. The service is top notch. It just makes me feel at home but at home if you were surrounded by people to bring you water and make you amazing meals.

Yelp
Been a Vittorios customer for years and the food has been consistently my favorite at North County/Rancho Bernardo area. My to-go order has been fairly quick (20-min wait). The greeter kept me in good company and definitely didn't feel like I waited for too long. Calamari Dorati was a great appetizer. I finished everything before getting to the entree Rigatoni Bolognese, which was really meaty and what a way to end with the food coma.

Yelp
My spouse and I have been going to Vittorio's for several years now and it is time to write a review. It is not just the delicious food that draws us to Vittorios, although there is no doubt that everything is well prepared, generous, and delicious, it is also the service and ambience. Whenever we arrive, we are warmly greeted either by Vittorio or by the friendly and professional servers at the restaurant. We are seated and immediately given delicious, warm bread and asked for our order. We are never rushed, nor are we ever ignored. The table cloths are pristine, the glasses shimmer, the ambience is serene, and the service is excellent, and we feel well taken care of. There is always laughter heard from those seated at the bar, and that adds to the experience. All of the servers are truly wonderful, and whenever Martin is assigned to our table, we enjoy his kindness, patience and care. We did not know until recently that even our dog is welcome as there is a table outside as it is always fun to have him with us. As someone else wrote, Vittorio's is indeed a "hidden gem" and when you go there, it is more than a delightful dining, it is a warm and inviting experience.

Yelp
Celebrated a birthday for one of our friends. I ordered the shrimp Diablo with linguini. Sauce was very tasty especially with fresh shaved Parmesan cheese. They also use the jumbo shrimp and the linguini was al dente. Our servers were great. Food arrived in no time and they also had fresh bread. This place can be somewhat romantic. It's a good date place. I'll have to return next time to try their linguini with clams.

Gerald G.

Yelp
The food and service were great. We had a pizza, salads and a number of pastas and they were all great. And half price pastas on Sunday and Monday was a bonus.

Emz P.

Yelp
Easy parking. Large place. Attentive service. Reasonable prices. Generous portions. Many of dishes were based on some red sauce. So, think traditional dishes. As for specifics, the calamari appetizer missed the mark- was chewy and not tasty. But the pizza was great, specially the crust. The angel hair pasta with garlic, tomato and basil was good.

Yelp
Decided to by some food for takeout and try this place for the first time. Portion size was great, really enjoyed the carbonara and the complimentary bread. Happy to have an Italian place closeby when I'm in the mood for some pasta.

Michelle Y.

Yelp
The food was amazing! I got a to go order that I placed on their website. Website was easy The food was very yummy and very tasteful. You can taste all the flavors. A item I got was the garlic cheese bread with side of marinara, the bread was so soft and the sauce was great Ravioli was perfect amount of cheese in the middle and the sauce was fireeee Service was fast and very friendly. I got messages as well about my order for updates and wait time. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant if you want Italian

Yelp
Vittorio's is our happy place Over the years we've had business functions and so many personal meals here and the food is always delicious and the service is always outstanding! Victor is always happy to see us and spends time chatting with us, as he does with all of his many long term customers. My personal favorite is the capellini alla checha, but everything is good. The sea bass special last night was delicious! We'll be back next time we're in town

Yelp
The best pizza ever! Sparkly clean, welcoming and absolutely delishes. My husband had fettuccine Alfredo with lunch special, was very pleased with his choice. Parking is ample and free, the owner is very nice and friendly. Always stop by to say hello to old customers. Overall a delightful dinning experience.

Yelp
From the minute we walked in the door of Vittorio's we felt at home! We were warmly greeted and the staff was on point. The pasta dishes we ordered were cooked to perfection! It was hard to make a selection because the menu is so extensive. There is a lot to choose from and we look forward trying many more delicious dishes. Vittorio's is our new go to restaurant for Italian food! I highly recommend this restaurant. -Robynn

Yelp
Only recently ate here with friends that go quite often. Good food, service and atmosphere, will definitely return. Tuesday night special is great too!

Karen D.

Yelp
Wow, the food was AMAZING! The staff was awesome! And the atmosphere was great! We got there late on a Sunday evening and had never been there before and the staff was very gracious. And they had a full bar and made some good drinks. Oh, and on Sundays, the pasta dishes are half price! How great is that!

Yelp
This is our family's favorite restaurant. The owner and staff are professional, friendly, and accommodating. The food is flavorful, authentic, fresh, and delicious.

Margaret D.

Yelp
We had a large 10 person family dinner in the patio. We have gone to Victoria's many times over the years for special events. They never disappoint! The food is excellent, the servers are helpful and pleasant, but not overpowering, and the overall vibe is great.

Kathleen B.

Yelp
We have been going here for years and are never disappointed in the service or food. Their winemaker dinners are also great and are not ridiculously expensive. Their lasagna is totally wonderful and the carpaccio is very tasty too. My sister and I often meet there as a halfway point. as she lives in Oceanside and I live in Rancho San Diego.
google avatar

Pau R.

Yelp
This place is so good! The food is delicious and really enjoyed the flavor of the shrimp linguine pasta. The artichoke appetizer is delicious. Highly recommend it. We also ordered tiramisu and it was excellent. The server was kind and provided great customer service. The host at the front however gave attitude when we asked for a both instead and she gave us a face when we got the booth after. She definitely needs customer service training with her attitude. Aside from her the servers were great so I'll still give this place a high rating mainly because of the food.
google avatar

Nino K.

Yelp
This was another great experience with Italian cuisine . Great pasta. Great stakes. Highest quality service. Right off 56 this conveniently located this beautiful restaurant is worth visiting. Rafael did a great job serving us best food this place can offer.
google avatar

Jen S.

Yelp
Pick-up Order Review: Online ordering is always a plus for me. The photos make the food look deceiving delicious. I was pretty disappointed by the pasta as it tasted like something I could cook myself. At this price point I expect hand made level pasta which is not the case here. The carbonara was especially sad as it had micro bits of pancetta (just mainly small bits of fat). The lasagna tasted like chef boyardee.

Craig J. W.

Yelp
This is a nice quiet restaurant my family attended on Monday after Mother's Day, the best time for us all to get together. I was worried after realizing they closed at 8:00pm and we had a reservation for ten people at 7:00pm, but they welcomed us with open arms and didn't rush us even though we went a little past closing. The lighting is low but I'm sure that's for ambiance. The tables are decorated with a white table cloth and painted ceramic light fixtures above most tables. They have a deal on Monday's where wine bottles are half off, but we aren't big wine drinkers so we did not partake. We did start off with some drinks. I had my usual a bloody Mary made with Grey Goose which was tasty, my wife had a strawberry martini which also was good. Everyone enjoyed their plates and all the food was delicious. I had the Pollo Marsala which was cooked perfectly with plenty of mushrooms and a side of mashed potatoes and vegetables. I would have liked more potatoes, but I'll ask for that next time! Three people in my group got the Ciopino and loved it. We also ordered some bruschetta and calamari which were also delightful. Our waiter was very nice and made sure the water glasses and soft drinks stayed full the entire dinner. The pricing was what you would expect to pay for a nice Italian restaurant without having to drive all the way down to North Park or Downtown and fight and/or pay for parking. Overall very enjoyable, good service and great food.

Gerald S.

Yelp
Ordered on Doordash, but even accounting for the delivery the food was terrible. Chicken Picata with a thick gooey sauce with barely a hint of lemon and a soggy pizza. Ate at the restaurant once months ago with similar results, but thought we'd give it another chance. I won't be fooled again.
google avatar

Sarah L.

Yelp
Note this review is only for the food. Service was impeccable and an easy 10 star. We were seated quickly and bread with marinara was provided. Both were room temperature to cool. Ok fine, not a big deal. We ordered: cheesy garlic bread, husband got veal parm and I got a caprese salad and a glass of wine. The garlic bread was soggy, veal parm had an appalling amount of cheese and sauce and wet thin breading, was also served not-hot, and the caprese had 3 thin slices of underripe heirloom tomato topped with thin mozz sliced and a weird house salad. Husband requested pasta as a side to his veal parm instead of a baked potato and staff obliged. The pasta was also luke-warm. I would not return because the food was not good and the total came to $70 after tip. However I would again like to stress that service was impeccable. It could be we just came at a bad time (6PM on a Friday) but the food was unforgivably subpar.

Yelp
It is always a wonderful experience when we come here. This is a midway point for me and some of my girlfriends to get together for a quick happy hour or weekday dinner. Everything is always excellent. Food, drinks and especially service. Will continue visiting often.
google avatar

Sam S.

Yelp
My daughters spaghetti came out 1 minute after my meal came out. The manager noticed this and asked what type of ice cream that she liked. Then the manager brought her a scoop to make up for her meal coming out last. I own a business here in San Diego and hope that my team treats our customers as well as this local business treated us. P.S. the food is really good too
google avatar

Lidia R.

Yelp
When I walked into the restaurant I really appreciated the ambiance. It makes you feel like you're in a patio in Italy! Unfortunately the food I ordered was not up to my standards. I ordered the Linguine alla Vongole. Unfortunately it tasted like water with pasta (no flavor) and the clams were also tasteless. Another member at my table that ordered the same dish felt the same way. The calamari unfortunately were some of the worst that I have tasted. The Salmon was good. Finally for desert, the tiramisu also barely had any taste. The service was truly incredible and we were treated with nothing but kindness and total attention. We were asked if we wanted Parmesan in our seafood pasta which I found to be very odd (cheese never goes on seafood pasta), but the reason for my low review comes from the low quality of food.
google avatar

Yelp
Great place when you want a night out, delicious food and drink and lovely ambience! The owner Victor is the nicest, so welcoming and the entire staff make this place special!

Yelp
Service 4 Food 4-3 Ambiance-3 The fact there were dogs allowed to eat inside the restaurant 1 Overall sadly a 2.5 I brought my small family here for a reunion dinner. The server was initially very prompt, gave us plenty of water and filled glasses as they were emptied. Food was mixed as good and okay. Drinks a little watered. The ambiance was a little warm. But we were really surprised that seemingly non-service dogs were allowed to eat in the dining room and the bar area. Although the dogs were on the floor, do service dogs really eat in a restaurant? Please consider this when eating here.

Yelp
Had not been here for a while. But thoroughly enjoyed it The service was a bit slow but the food was fresh and piping hot.

Yelp
The worst Italian since I've moved to California. I chose to order delivery on 11/24/2021 because I was packing and moving and had no dishes to cook or eat with. I was craving pasta and decided to give this place a shot. Very disappointing. I ordered the Spaghetti alla Carbonara. There was so much onion it was overwhelming. I love onion but not only was this over the top, the onions were so poorly prepared it made the dish inedible. It was like whoever prepared this dish needed to hurry up and chop more onion. Not only was it huge chunks of onion (not diced or prepared with care) but the onion was not cooked very well and still VERY crunchy. You could not taste ANYTHING except onion. On top of that, the "Italian bacon" they tout was very fatty and undercooked. I should have known not to order from a place that calls it Italian bacon. Also, I ordered the garlic bread with marinara sauce. Whatever they gave me was NOT marinara sauce. It was more like someone opened a can of tomato sauce and poured it into a cup. On top of all of that, I was not given any utensils or napkins. Not helpful when I ordered because I had no dishes to use. I would not have tried to eat this food if I had options that night. I'm from St. Louis where Italian food is cooked with pride. This was disgusting.

Yelp
We have been going now for over one year. The happy hour from 4-6 is fantastic. You have to get there early to get a seat at the bar. seating is limited and they will not let you sit in the dinning room. Dinners are very good and priced fare. It is the kind of place that makes you feel at home. We have yet to have bad service or a bad meal. Plenty of parking.
google avatar

Kevin L.

Yelp
I'm a fan of this nice neighborhood Italian place. Atmosphere is cool, friendly and they have great furnishings and a nice little bar. I've always come in for dinner - in fact, had my wife's 50th birthday here a few years ago in their large back room - but this was my first time in for lunch. Ordered the chopped salad with grilled chicken and it was very good. The only reason I knocked off a star was because they don't offer a lunch menu (smaller portions, less $$). I didn't want a full-on pasta dinner, hence the salad. If you're in the neighborhood, Vittorio's has my recommendation!
google avatar

Barbara W.

Yelp
Love this place, but I wish it were closer to where I live. Friends chose to come here after a play and the food and 25$ wine bottles were great. I used to come here when working in area and I remember the lunch specials were fabulous - not sure now, but I hope to return and find out! Love italian cuisine.

Yelp
We came for an early dinner. Apparently, others had the same idea. So, we opted to sit in the bar, during a Padres game. There was lots of traffic, by our table (just on the other side of the host stand.) Multiple people came and stood near our table. A private birthday party was beginning to fill the other room. Our waiter started off great, but then kinda disappeared. The host came over and asked if I wanted a refill of my water. I did. It didn't come. I asked for fried gnocchi appetizer. I rarely get appetizers, but this is unusual and I wanted to try it. Definite winner! Joe ordered a pasta dish. He said it was ok. He ended up taking most of it home. I got the chicken piccata. I was surprised that it was served with mashed potatoes. That might be something that should be listed on the menu, as some of us are not fans of mashed potatoes. The vegetables were perfectly cooked. The chicken was tender and perfectly cooked. The sauce, however, was strange. It had a weird lemon Pledge aftertaste. I tasted it all night long. Had to flag down the waiter for the check.
