Seriously, this is the most authentic trattoria this side of Toronto's Little Italy. This guy, Vittorio, has been certified by Naples, Italy to produce pizza and bread in their name. We started with the bruschetta (often quite ordinary in most restaurants) which had the freshest tomatoes, basil, and garlic but we were blown away by the light, airy, perfectly grilled bread. The three of us each ordered a pizza which was too much food but we couldn't agree on toppings. We got my son the pepperoni, my wife got the porcini (mushrooms and sausage), and I got the truffle (delicate, unique flavour ...the best in my mind). It was a pleasure to see this family business run by the family: Vittorio chef, daughter server, son busboy. Did the food come out quickly? Absolutely not. This is handmade perfection (of the best ingredients) which takes time and passion to produce. If you're in a rush ( or a mangia cake) go to a fast food restaurant.
I definitely recommend this restaurant and will be returning again shortly.
