Viva El Taco Mexican Restaurant

I walked in last night at 11:20 PM. The woman working was extremely rude and told me they were closing in five minutes despite the large "24 Hours" sign outside. I double-checked Google, and it clearly said they were open for another 40 minutes. I ended up walking out. With service like that, this place won’t be in business much longer.

Very strange experience. First time in, I was very polite, staff didn't realize I spoke Spanish. Because I'm white they played a "joke" on me. Didn't know what it was until i got home but i wasn't going to eat it either way obviously. Best way to deal with this kind of hostility is just never return as a paying customer and to spread the word. Something else might have been going on if you know what i mean but the only thing I can say is that the burrito consisted of about 2% tortilla, 45% chicken, and 53% water. No other ingredients. By the time i walked across the street to home water was pooling in the wrapping. I squeezed all the water out into a measuring cup and got to the 1 and 1/2 line. Chicken total was 1 cup. Most disgusting experience to I've had in quite some time.

Today 10/15/2025 8:00PM I ordered a veggie burrito the price was $12.50? The burritos with the meat was pretty much the same price. I go home cut the veggie burrito in half and there is only lettuce and rice in the burrito! NO BEANS, ONIONS, TOMATO, AVOCADO, CILANTRO NOTHING!!!!!!. And on top of that the RICE Was NOT SEASONED AT ALL! IF I WOULD HAVE TAKEN A BITE OF MY BURRITO WITH MY EYES CLOSED, I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT ITS ONLY TORTILLA AND LETTUCE IN HERE. THATS HOW BLAND THE RICE WAS. I WISH I WOULD HAVE PAID WITH CARD SO I CAN DISPUTE THIS AND I HAVE NEVERRRRRRRRR DISPUTED A FOOD ORDER. TO ANYBODY THAT WANTS A VEGGIE BURRITO THIS IS NOT THE SPOT. MAKE IT AT HOME AND USE THE $12.50 TO BUY THE INGREDIENTS. NOT WORTH THE VISIT I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND 😡🥵👎🙅⛔

I've been coming here since it opened. Today's got to be the worst service and food I ever got from the place. I called in in order and the lady on the phone was kind of rude and didn't tell him my total or anything and just hung up on me. The burrito wasn't like it normally is and the fish taco look like it was just thrown together. This place used to be a lot better in service and food quality.

I’m white I’m gringo No problem been married 25 years to my wife Mexicano, but I will never go here again ever disrespect and just walk out the door they don’t care what you wanna buy or not buy would never go. Can I speak Spanish? They treat you like trash because they think you don’t understand

Food was horrible, the asada didn't taste like it was grilled rather boiled, the alpastor was the worst. Service wasn't the greatest lady seemed bothered to take my order. The place is filthy menus stained yellow and outdated.

Ever since I first came here since I recently relocated, the elderly woman at the register has been rude but only towards me. Then I noticed i was the only person who looked white. Super polite to all the latino people. She charged me for large drinks and gave me medium and said I said medium. Not realizing i ordered the same thing for the second week in a row. I showed her my history on my bank card just to show he she was being unprofessional. Don’t think ill ever come back simply because im not white they just assumed I didn’t speak Spanish. I understood everything they were saying about me very unprofessional
