First time at this restaurant. Greatly enjoyed the food and service. Great outdoor seating. The Vivace Manhattan was excellent. Great flavor and cook on the pasta dishes. The menu offers up some tasty looking options. We will be back to try some other dishes.

One of the finest meals we've had in Tucson ... and that's saying something. From the simple but elegant tables and decorations, to the superb wait staff -- attentive but not bothersome, to the superb food (well, with one teensie weensie exception) ... and the views (both from the Southern 'lower dining room' to the Northern 'upper dining room and patio ... this is a simply wonderful place to eat, to dine, to enjoy each other's company. My wife adored the Veal Piccata. I thought that meatballs and marinera sauce were the VERY BEST in Tucson (although I think I would have preferred the linguine to the penne that I ordered). AND the "Birthday Creme Brulee" was superb. We liked the Birthday Creme Brulee so much we ordered a 'standard' Creme Brulee. Again, it was great (and for only $10.00!!!) but they had not flamed the maple sugar long enough, and so there was some graininess of the unmelted sugar on the bottom of the caramelized topping. This was one, every so slight, blemish, in what was an all-around magnificent dinner. (Sorry, Google will not allow me to upload photos taken with my iPhone.)

Love this place! It was our first time here ...Sat out on back patio, which was lovely. All the food and drinks were excellent! Try the super garlicky escargot! We also enjoyed the stuffed pork chop, seafood lasagna and grilled sea bass.

Very nice restaurant. Friendly waitress. Bartender saw us standing behind a crowded bar and he personally walked up to my husband and I and took our order. His drinks were 100% well made and served! Dinner was delicious as well as dessert! We got the meatballs Alfredo, penne sausage for dinner. We tried all the desserts and they were all tasty. The wine selection was excellent and the waitress recommend a wonderful Italian red wine! Highly recommend when visiting Tucson

Came here for a birthday celebration, my wife and I ordered different items. Ample parking, comfortable seating,no waiting. Uncomplicated menu, excellent service, unpretentious staff. The food was delicious. Bread and olives with pesto served when seated. Salads were plentiful and delicious. My dinner came with pasta with vegetables, carrots crisp green beans and buttery cooked zucchini that was the most delectable I have ever tasted! Vivacis is the perfect place to celebrate any special occasion. Price range $25 - $50. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Finally, I found a place with good Italian food with an Italian atmosphere. Tucson is not really known for Italian as far as I know. As an Italian myself, the food was great and the staff was very friendly. I will be back in the near future.

Another great meal here last night! Excellent food, service (David) and Ambiance! Loved the stuffed pork chop and the veal Marsala and a side of risotto. Excellent cocktails and beer and wine selections. Elegant and we enjoyed it. I also love how management supports local non profits like SAAS (Southern Arizona Against Slavery). VictorB
