Vive la Vie

Someone give these guys a Michelin star. The food was phenomenal. The menu flowed together really well and the matching wines were great. A real autumn treat!The staff was very friendly and not too stiff the way it often is at fine dining restaurants. We were there for our anniversary and they even included a small personal touch for us.

I visited on October 24th, and to be honest, I was disappointed with the service. The seven-course menu took nearly four hours in total, which felt quite long. The male server was very kind and had a bright smile, but the other staff members seemed inattentive. The way they placed the dishes and cutlery felt careless, almost as if they weren’t paying attention to the details or simply didn’t want to be there. The table looked a bit messy, and when they cleared the plates, they did it so quickly and abruptly that it made me uncomfortable. I ordered the All-in package, but no one explained what was included. I only found out later from the restaurant’s website that coffee or tea was supposed to be part of it. Even when the server asked at the end, it seemed like she thought it was an extra charge. The food itself wasn’t bad, but apart from the main dish, nothing really stood out — it just didn’t feel special for the price range. If the service had been a bit more attentive, I would have left feeling much happier.

Reservations are highly recommended. I'm unsure if they take walk-ins. The service was great and friendly. The wine pairings were great. If you have preference, they can accommodate, just inform them ahead of of time. The ambiance is light. It's not loud nor cramped in tight quarters.

Food was very nice and the service super friendly. Wines well associated to each of our seven courses. The cheese board let us discover some amazing local products. I fully recommend it. For 5 stars however, they should take more risks in the kitchen: mix the flavors a little bit more and work on different textures (every piece of our meals was tasty, but on its own, and little surprising). Cooks not wearing protective masks (covid) and some members of the staff wearing them just under the nose were big a minus.

To me this is fine dining at Michelin star level. I had the 5 course option in Jan 2020 and was amazed at the high level of each course. I was only drinking water but I can only imagine that wine pairing would have enhanced the meal even more. The service level again was outstanding. I will be going again and soon

We had an amazing dinner with a variety of meals and excellent wine pairings, definetly a restaurant that's worth to spend the evening at. You should probably reserve in advance, only bummer is that they don't take Amex or Diners.

The most extended diner I've had in a while. The food is amazing! Five courses with five great wines. The price may seem a bit high at the first glance, but it's a great value for money. The staff is amazing and helps you get the premium feeling. I.e.: taking your coat when you arrive or holding the door when you leave. The knowledge of the staff really endoured the meal. They give you great explanations about the wine and how it matches your meal. The meal is described into detail when served and looks amazing. Big kudos to the chef and the servers!

Nice small restaurant, excellent food, excellent wine and competent and friendly staff. Definitively a recommendation!
