ViVi Bubble Tea

Hours on store window say they close at 10:00pm on Fridays. Walked in at 9:46 and was told they were closed. They had three employees working so it definitely wasn't closing early due to low staff. If it's closed earlier than 10:00pm, then change what it says. I think they were actually just too lazy to make a drink and wanted to close early. Edited to add: Sign said Friday and Saturday they close at 10pm. Not sure why the reply to my review says the sign says 9:30 for Friday. Also, if they were closed, why was I able to walk in at 9:46. Drove by and saw they now have a new temporary paper sign taped up with updated hours. I love how they gaslit me about what the hours on the door said. How hard was it to just instead say "Sorry about the confusion mam. We meant to update the hours on our door. Hope you will give us another chance"???

The Taro Crème Brûlée -3/10 . It’s so freaking thick and the chunks in it make it even worse. And it’s no Taro taste at all. I’m so mad I ordered that. It wasn’t good at all. Get a fruit tea instead!

Passion fruit tea with herbal jelly!!! So good on a hot day! The salt and pepper popcorn chicken was light, crispy, and tasty for an afternoon snack. Nice portions too. Definitely will stop back in here, when I'm out this way again.

I was hired to take a few pics of some of vivi signature drinks. I was happy to see very clean, modern, fresh and welcoming atmosphere. Owner and his staff are very nice and knowledgeable. I was very impressed with the one drink that I had which was the signature fruit tea. So good!! They have only been open for about 1 month and they are the only vivi franchise so far in Michigan. So please stop in and buy one of their wonderful and affordable teas, floats or slush drinks. You will not be disappointed.

Fast service by polite friendly employees. I asked for a suggestion & was told the Signature Fruit Tea was a popular drink. I loved it! So refreshing with real fruit in the tea. My daughter got the milk tea with jellies in it. Will definitely be going back!

A wide variety of drinks and desserts and the two bubble teas I got (a milk tea and a fruit tea) were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing while also being cute and aesthetic. Although I didn't stay for long, my experience there was very pleasant!

Let's start by saying my trip to this spot started on Saturday. I was in the mood for some bubble tea late at night, but my usual bubble tea spot that's about 40+ minutes away, was closed. Vivi's was open, as they close at 10p.m.! Bet!! I started my trip to ViVi's, I got 6 minutes away and had to turn back because my phone died (I was using the GPS) 🤦🏽‍♀️. Sunday, I wanted to go but wasn't feeling the drive. Monday, my craving was still there, so it was a toss up between ViVi's and a joint in Ferndale. I wanted to feel busy so I drove literally over an hour to this place to try their drinks!!! Oooweee!!! 👏🏽THEY 👏🏽 DID 👏🏽NOT👏🏽 DISAPPOINT!!! Those drinks were FIRE 🔥🔥🔥!!! I will make that drive 3x's a day if necessary. I thought I was a loyal customer to Bambu, but after that first sip of Vivi's I learned I was way too good at goodbyes. I ordered the ViVi's Signature Fruit Tea (orange, apple, tea jelly, chia seed, & lime), the Taro Milk Tea, and the Pineapple Mango Jelly Tea (I swapped the jellies for mango popping pearls). Y'all the Vivi's Signature Tea was gone before I left the parking lot. I think the fresh slices of orange, lime, and minced apples they put in there solidified the drink. I kept looking at the cup and back at the building like, "ain't no way this drink is this good". It definitely gave Miami vibes!! On to the Taro Milk Tea. I usually don't drink all of my teas in the same time frame. However, since the first drink had my taste buds jumping, I dove right into the Taro. This drink is different than other Taro beverages I've tried, in that it has like a lavender/floral taste following the taro taste (my opinion). This drink gave me working mom vibes. Like a woman who makes stuff on Etsy, or does DIY projects would drink this beverage!! It was definitely a good tasting fragrant drink! I haven't drank the Pineapple Mango,yet (it's in the freezer). I was full after the first 2 drinks. So, I may or may not update this review. I just wanted to get this review out there for those love bubble tea, and especially those who are unfamiliar and new to bubble tea. This is the place to go to!! Hands down!!

Tbh, I wasn’t expecting much... But they impressed me on the atmosphere & quality of food. Came to chill and play my switch. I got the Taro slush & the spicy popcorn chicken. No ice chips left in my slush and the chicken was so juicy and clean tasting. Not that old grease taste like most places. Good job guys! Can’t wait to bring friends!

Was at the grocery store and said "ooooooooh a boba joint!" So I went and tried here. I ordered the flaming brown sugar (I think that's the name) and I really liked it a lot. It had the right level of sweet to it. I was able to adjust the ice which was very nice of them. The staff were nice and helpful. They also were helpful to pick my drink. The atmosphere is super cute also. A nice spot to come study or hang with friends. The decor is very kid/teen/young adult priced. They sell hot food, have to try that next!

I've been here a few times and it's been good every time. The staff is nice and there's a good amount of seating. In terms of drinks I've had their Flaming Brown Sugar, Mango, and other fruity drinks. I enjoy the wide selection and different sugar levels. Not my go-to place or the best boba place but it's solid!

I love the service and the tasty teas they have. That's why I give them a 5 star, so please go and order from the friendly staff there .

Still love Vivi's! Try to get our fix every time we visit the metro Detroit area. Drinks always fresh and perfect. Signature with pudding still my fav. My daughter tries something new every time we go. Tempura shrimp, popcorn chicken, Takoyaki, Taiwanese sausage, we love everything. Haven't tried fries yet, but bet they are good too!

Yum! I stopped in here after shopping at Hmart and WOW! I tried the M5 Fresh Mango Smoothie with popping boba and a TaiWanese B.B.Q. Sausage, both were delicious. I've stopped by a couple times now and it's always quick and delicious. My DoorDash pick up was quicker than expected too! Highly recommend!

Nice and convenient boba shop near H Mart. After you do grocery shopping, easily walk over here to get a boba fix! I'm from Hawaii & California so I looooove me some boba. This place is pretty good in comparison to west coast boba places. Love their popcorn chicken here but it is a little oily for my liking. The drink menu is diverse and has lots to choose from. Tried the mango slush with boba this time around and it was not bad. I prefer the milk teas but wanted to be a lil adventurous with a slush. I gave this place five stars since this particular issue isn't such a big deal but wanna give a heads up that the wait is super long for the popcorn chicken. And it's not limited to it being busy or not cuz I always order it when I visit. So definitely don't order that if you're in a rush or expect to get in and out quickly. But other than that, the drinks have consistently tasted good whenever I'm here!

For milk tea, in my opinion, ding tea, tiger or kung Fu tea is better. If you want fruit tea and other stuff then this place is pretty good too. I just don't taste any tea in my drink. Other people seems to like it, just not me

My first time trying bubble tea from here! I'm a huge bubble tea connoisseur so I'm pretty judgmental about my milk tea. First glance, this place is adorable. Seating is perfect, comfy, 7 tables/booths. A small milk tea with pearls cost me $5 so that's pretty standard. I was able to get a drink and leave fairly quickly. If I'm being honest, it's not my favorite milk tea that I've had. The aftertaste was a little off to me, it had a hint of medicine is what it seemed like to me. They had a large variety of different types of drinks AND food that I've been told is super good! I will 100% come back for the feels with friend and I'll try something else to update this review. Overall, not bad at all! Just not my favorite milk tea.

I went to ViVi Bubble tea the first time a couple of days after they opened in 2021 and found it to be an okay place to visit: not anything special, but certainly not bad. I figured maybe they were still working through their opening jitters, so recently decided to drop by again. For this most recent visit I got one drink: ViVi Bubble Milk Tea, Large, 50% Ice, 50% Sweet ($6.50) - The tea is pre-brewed and stored in a dispenser. They add the tea, add some powder creamer, shake up the mixture, then pour it over a cup of boba. The overall flavor profile in this drink is interesting - it's as if they steeped mulling spices or some herbal mix in the tea. It has the distinct taste of cinnamon and perhaps cardamom and other spices. Certainly an interesting way of preparation. The boba here, which comes with the drink, is also very interesting. It's pretty uniformly chewy and I didn't find it particularly under or overcooked, but there were some inconstant sizes with some being larger than others. The texture is pretty unique; the boba is not nearly as bouncy as other places. I feel like this might not be 100% tapioca flour. It might be some sort of tapioca/agar mix? The chew is squishy and kind of sticks to the teeth, almost reminding me of an older, less fresh cheese curd in the way that it almost squeaks on the teeth. It's not unpleasant, just different from other places. In terms of overall drink sweetness, half sweet was good. ViVi Tea is a good choice if you're looking for boba that's just a little different to stand out. I personally wouldn't make ViVi a regular part of my rotation, but it's something I would get again if I wanted a drink with some character and uniqueness.

The way the flavors blend together makes it a go-to drink I never get tired of, and honestly, I can't imagine trying anything else on the menu because this one just hits.

It is a cute and pretty open place. They have a pretty big menu option. Mostly I love that it is not limited to tea. I had a mango Yakult with lychee jelly and it was delicious and totally hit the spot. The service was friendly and quick. Prices seemed reasonable and I would totally come back.

Wow, actually legit place. The popcorn chicken was so close to the taste of Taiwan. Super impressed, coming from a Californian! The drinks were great too. Many options and tea without sugar hit the spot. Also got the takoyaki, not bad but great. In a plaza, plenty of parking and seating inside. Open spacing inside. I would definitely come back when I am in town!

menu has a lot of nice options so there's something for everyone! i got the mango slush and absolutely loved it, it didn't have that weird artificial fruit taste some places have. my friends who got some boba loved the different options, and all said they loved what they got and were impressed by all the inclusions. the service was super nice, we went within the last hour of them being open for the day and they still had people coming in and out and were getting drinks out quickly! sit down area is nice as well, plenty of room for groups.

I went here after an adventure shopping trip to Hmart and wanted a refreshing drink. It wasn't very busy when I went in but it was clean. I asked the counter girl recommendations and she suggested the signature fruit tea that didn't have diary and it didn't disappoint! It was delicious and refreshing which is exactly what I was looking for! It tasted heavily of guava fyi. In comparison to other places. I think this place is better than Tiger Sugar and around the same as Din Tea. Overall, I would come back!

The popcorn chicken is good. Reminds me of the popcorn chicken from cali. It's soft, crunchy, just enough flavor on each bit. As for the drinks, it was a bit more of a miss for me because I wasn't a big fan of the drinks that I got but it's not horrible though. It's fine for a quick boba run if you're not near your favorite boba spot. Popcorn in spicy flavor, flaming brown sugar milk tea, dragon fruit drink. I favor the dragon fruit at first sip compare to the brown sugar milk tea but after awhile when both drinks sets, I actually liked the brown sugar milk tea way more. Customer service wasn't bad but it also wasn't that good. I think there was a miscommunication between me and the cashier but I left thinking that thing's could've gone better (the interaction/communication). Aside from all that, the inside was clean and I enjoyed the wall paintings and nice chair/table settings. The one thing I noticed was that the tables could use better cleaning/wipe down. I sat at one booth and it was dirty, you could see crumbs... Overall, not a bad experience but not the best either. I'd give this place a second shot in the future to really see if this first time impression will improve.

I used to love this place but I went today with my husband and both of our drinks tasted very off. My taro slush tastes like coconut soap? And my husbands taro milk tea tastes like curry... I'm so confused and disappointed.

Absolutely love coming here for bubble tea when I'm in the area. I usually get the taro milk tea but today I decided to try the taro creme brûlée milk tea with boba and it was SO good. The place is cute, very trendy and they offer food like Korean fried chicken wings and some other finger foods also!

They have military hours on their door. Ordered an Oreo slush with added bobas. It's $7.42. The first sips of the drink was warm, quite so. The top has little bear ears on it. The bobas are soft and chewy. The Oreo slush blend is good. There's chocolate syrup along the wall as well. The warm part of the drink was unexpected.

Stopped by after a trip to HMart. It's a bit on the pricey side (almost $8 for a large milk tea). I got the coffee jelly milk tea and it was delicious. The milk tea was not super sweet, which I like. I've had some that have been way too sweet. The tapioca was nice and chewy, and the coffee jelly was soft and easy to eat. The service was quick and it was easy in, easy out!

This is a cute boba place with plenty of seating options. We ordered the Vivi Milk Tea and Thai Milk Tea, and it took less than 10 minutes for our drinks to be ready. The latter was great, but the Vivi Milk Tea tasted watered down and lacked flavor.

I had been wanting to try Vivi for a while now because I kept seeing pictures on Instagram and it looked delicious. Onezo is my bae in this area but today I was coming home from an appointment and Vivi was on the way, so I stopped by. I was torn between the Oreo creme brulee drink and the tiramisu drink. The employee at the counter said she preferred tiramisu, and she did say it has a bit of a coffee taste. Overall, it tasted a little too much like coffee for me but it was still tasty, and I added lychee jellies for 50 cents extra. I also ordered their popcorn chicken, I had been drooling over the pictures of the basil chicken on Yelp. For $5.99 you get a huge bag of chicken, definitely enough to split - I had some with my lunch and I froze the rest of it for another meal. The place itself was really clean and new, I know it just opened a few months ago. Employees were friendly, as well, and 100% masked. I'll definitely be returning to try other things on the menu, the taro creme brulee looked awesome too. They also have the calories listed on their website which was useful, I never know how many calories milk tea is but I usually budget around 500.

Thank you to all of the employees of Vivi for being so kind and patient with a picky customer. I am not sure what happened, but my child who normally loves so many flavors, was not feeling the orders this day. Personally, I have the widest range when it comes to my palate in the household, so I did enjoy all of the drinks and food. We came to try the popcorn chicken. It was hot, fresh, and crispy. We had the garlic. It was not over the top with garlic flavor, but had an after note of garlic in the mouth. We also tried the sausage. My kid loved the snap on it. Lastly, we had the takoyaki. We went from not being able to find this dish at all, to finding many places to eat it. The takoyaki at Vivi was wonderful. It was hot and flavorful. I love the creamy mayo. It was so good I should have purchased two orders since we gobbled it up so fast. Yum! To drink I got the taro creme brulee. The best part was the brulee cream. I also added coffee jelly. My child ordered the dragon fruit cream float. It was very herbal and floral. I like that type of flavor, but for some reason it was too bitter for my kid. They did not want to disappoint so they made the strawberry cream float next. It was fresh with the perfect amount of cream, but ended up being too bitter for my child for some reason. I was about to leave but they insisted they did not want a dissatisfied customer and made an Oreo drink. That one was the winner. It was very good. Personally all of the drinks tasted fine to me, as I said, I have the most appreciation for flavor combinations in my house. But we really came for the food, which was satisfying. They have an adorable shop with several comfy booths and several table tops to sit at and enjoy a bite to eat or a tea. I like the decorated walls with the Vivi skull face, very cute. If you are going to H Mart, which is what we were doing, this is a fun place to stop.

I had the dragon fruit with Lychee jelly and lychee boba pop. I always need help ordering, and I'm really glad that I tried the jelly. It was a bright and astringent combination that I loved. Service was quick despite the fact that they were busy. Everything was clean and orderly. I'll be back the next time I visit Michigan.

Who's got great bubble tea and fried chicken??? Right here baby!! (And TKK ;-) But to put the focus on the food, it's noice. For $6.99 you can get a nice sized bag of popcorn chicken coming in all sorts of flavors. Very juicy and tender bites with a very (I repeat very) mild crunch. Personally I prefer max crunch but it's good to try out different styles and textures. I like the 2 little skewers they give you per pouch of popcorn chicken. Use them to stab or put them together and wah la - you got chopsticks! Overall, quick and yummy eats that you can do before grocery shopping at H-Mart! Haha

I ordered the taro milk tea and the takoyaki. The milk tea was a good balance of sweetness. It wasn't too sweet and wasn't too bland. The takoyaki came out hot, fresh, and steamy. My first bite of the takoyaki was met with a good reaction. I didn't know what to expect. I enjoyed how it had a soft yet creamy texture inside. My first time trying it and I like it.

Was in the area to take a trip to H-Mart and needed a post grocery shopping pick me up and wanted boba...was pleased to stumble upon Vivi just across the parking lot. I ordered a passion fruit QQ (SO GOOD / a passion fruit drink with lychee and boba) and the woman working recommended their popcorn chicken as well so I tried the curry flavor. Both were delicious and the chicken is made to order so it came out piping hot. Since my visit I've gone out of my way to make it back here for a second visit as I was dreaming of their boba. I've tried many boba places in the metro Detroit area ranging from chains to local spots and this is hand's down the best boba I've had in Michigan. Points added for having snack foods as well! My second visit I tried the pepper salt chicken and it was also very good. You won't be disappointed here - must visit!

AWESOME customer service! I'm a big bubble tea fanatic, and this is by far my favorite bubble tea place! It's so bright and the music choice is great. It could be a bit more spacious but I loved the location and the interior design. I'm also pretty lactose intolerant and I had the Vivi Milk Tea and it tasted great and didn't make my stomach feel awful. Their medium size is equivalent to other bubble tea places' smalls, but it's the perfect size if you get full quickly! Probably one of my top go-to's for boba for sure from my experience so far :)

I used to not care for vivis a long time ago when I had it in New York but since my significant other passes here every weekend, he has been getting it for me. I've grown to like it but not my top choice. Really want to try their food options one day though!

This bubble tea place is larger than I'm used to, but still hits the mark on every order. Whenever I'm in town visiting my mom, we make an effort to come here and try something new. Their black milk teas are delish.

Yay bubble tea! Super easy ordering system online and quick service once you arrive. The taro milk I ordered I thought was a little too sweet as the prepackaged taro was too sweet and colored a bit too much. Still a fun place to try out and love their logo as well. New place opened right by my house! The vibe here is extremely up and it feels like walking into a Japanese cartoon, which is fun and cool! We ordered 4 different drinks and they were all delicious and fresh! I can't wait to go back and try more! Plus they have food, which again I wanna try!

One of my fav spots for boba. Oreo crème brûlée with pudding added is so good. Nice atmosphere and customer service is always great. Great selection of items to choose from too. I recommend to anyone looking for a new boba spot!!

I'm pretty sure Vivi's my favorite bubble tea chain around the area. My favorite drink they have there is the 3Q milk tea which includes tapioca balls, pudding, and their grass jelly. I enjoy the combination of all 3! Their popcorn chicken here is amazing - my favorite flavor is between the salt & pepper or the basil. Everything came out super fast and fresh. The staff was friendly and the store was clean. Vivi is in the perfect location, too! I like to stop by after shopping at H mart or eating in that plaza.

We got the taro creme brûlée with boba, which I thought was tasty but didn't meet our expectation on it based on its name. I was hoping to get that creme brûlée characteristics: burnt caramel and super creamy and custard flavor. However, unfortunately it tasted just a regular milk tea with taro paste topped with cream. I did really appreciate and enjoy the taro paste though, which was far more superior to just using an artificially flavored taro powder. Plus, the milk tea flavor was pretty good and spot on too. But at the end of the day, I would like for the drink to match what its name was trying to sell me, and on that front I felt like it was a fail. The final price after tax at over $7 was a bit steep for me for this drink, so I was a bit surprised by it too. All in all, my experience at this place was just okay.

This place for a few years is really good the food is crispy and theirs so much drinks too choose from highly recommended the service is really nice and good.

Bubble tea as expected, nice to have ice/sugar level options. Just pricy - large taro slush comes out to be $8, and it is a tall but narrow cup. I end up coming here despite the cost because it is conveniently by H Mart and Aldi. Service is friendly and fast even though there is usually a line on the weekends.

After lunch with some friends, we decided to stop by here to try this relatively new boba spot. I've seen it a couple of times since I go to this H-Mart so I was excited to give it a try. At first glance, I saw the Oreo Creme brulee milk tea and knew that was what I wanted to order. I got a medium size with boba and I'll be honest it was more on the expensive end. Over $6 for a drink with boba but hey I wanted to try it anyways. When I first started drinking it I noticed it was quite warm. For a cold drink, it was a little surprising. It had ice in it too so I was confused. I tried to mix it up but to no avail, I could not get it as cold as I would have liked. The flavors were good though I was just a little surprised at the temperature of the drink. Overall, I felt like this place is just okay.

I was getting groceries nearby and was surprised to see this new boba place opened up! It's a cute boba shop with a few table and seats inside. They have your typical boba drinks (non-dairy) milk teas and fruit tea drinks, but they also have a few unique drinks like cream floats, creme brûlée, etc. I'm more excited to try these drinks! For the boba drinks you can customize the sweetness, ice level, and toppings which is typical for boba places these days. They also offer few food items such as popcorn chicken in 5 different seasoning choices (pepper and salt, curry, basil, spicy, garlic), and Taiwanese sausage. I ordered the vivi signature fruit tea and basil popcorn chicken. I did wait a bit for my order but I'm not knocking this place for it because I understand when they first open they are working out the kinks. The fruit tea does not have that "bitter tea" taste to it like you get a gongcha, but it was still a tasty refreshing drink! What I liked about this drink was that there was a lot of really fruit pieces and jelly inside! I think it was a bit too sweet for my liking so next time I'll ask for less sweetness. The popcorn chicken was tasty and the chicken pieces were really juicy! I'll definitely be back to try more of their signature drinks!

This place is on the pricier side, nearly $8 for large drink with tapioca pearls. That price, on top of a small portion of tapioca is the reason why I knocked a star off. The flavors are great, however, the tapioca is 65 cents to add & they don't even give a good portion. Additionally, the tapioca was lacking flavor. Other than that, they have a large variety of flavors & you are able to adjust the drinks to how sweet you want. The ambience and decoration is nice inside.

Love ViVi! Matcha milk tea, no sugar and low ice, with tapioca and coffee jelly ;) They were out of coconut milk :( but still good. Coming back to try the takoyaki- I have special memories of eating it in Tokyo so very high expectations- didn't want to jeopardize the good bubble tea experience ;)

I tried a basic jasmine tea with 30% sugar and bubbles. The interior looks nice and it seemed like good customer service.

My first time at Vivi but my brother goes there often. We ordered the taro milk tea with tapioca and the taro slush with tapioca. The tapioca are a good consistency but the flavor of the taro is mild. The cups are cute and include their social media, email, as well as website. Our drinks were out relatively quickly. The bathroom and overall shop is clean, so I would go again to try something new next time.

The first time I went here, the girl at the counter was nice and took our order with kindess. The second time, the person who took my order had a very rude tone and the chicken we ordered was undercooked. I tried the vivi milk tea which tasted like water and half and half mixed with okay boba. I decorations are nice, but I would not stay there. The interior is very cozy, and the tables had crumbs of chicken on it. The fruit teas are good, but they mostly taste the same with different pieces of fruit inside.

One of my favorite bubble tea shops in the area! The location right by hmart makes it even better too. Pros: lots of really fun options, friendly workers, chic environment, quick service Cons: none really!

Come here often and became our favorite spot for about a year now. Basically tried all of the drinks tonight came with my sister, and ordered jasmine floats, curry popcorn chicken. And basil popcorn chicken. Ordered on the phone and came within 10 minutes and my order was ready. So friendly and love their chicken and drinks!

The best boba!! So delicious drive a half hour to get it. usually not good or bad service, you just order and that's that.
