After a wonderful day exploring the wonderful city of Florence, we wandered into Vivo. Having not booked we were thankful that there was a table outside because the restaurant was full. It is large and modern and not at all olde worlde. It is hard core seafood though and I think that is why it is so popular.
A small daily menu with fair pricing and only the freshest ingredients is what we were greeted by. We had a bottle of Italian Rosé, two pasta dishes, fried seafood and sea bass finished dinner for with sorbetta.
Every dish was simple but well made and delicious. Great value and friendly team. No English menu but helpful wait staff very patient with us, talking is through every item on the menu.
Change from €70 so we thought it was good value.
